Poor service delivery
A month ago I bought a 25kg twin tub Kelvinator washing machine at Cash Crusaders Silverton On the 13th November 2023 I went to Cash Crusaders Silverton too lay a complaint about the spinner is not working properly and that the clothes are soaking wet after spinning. The manager informs me they will send a technician out to my house. On the same day the manager contacted me and said the technician can’t come out because he do not have transport and that I must bring the washing machine to the shop. I’m staying 1,6km from the shop. I told her I don’t have money too hire a bakkie to bring the machine. She said she can’t help me and that I must bring the machine. Can you assist me with this complain please
R10 Smartwatch
I purchased this watch on Thursday the 26th of October the salesperson tested it to make sure it worked.
i took it home and charged it up
(the primary reason I brought this device was to monitor and count my daily steps so as to manage my exercise)
once it was charged it took some time to download the software and set it all up but unfortunately, I found the steps that it was recording were wildly inaccurate for example I would walk a distance of 200 steps and it was recording the distance as 40 000 steps
i called the Cash Crusaders in Primrose where i brought the watch and the salesperson asked me to bring it to a chap called Brandon who would assist me
i did so on Saturday the 28th of October
the young man went through the setup did a few things and then told me he thought he had it sorted so I took it home only to find it was still doing the same thing
i then took the watch back on Tuesday the 31st of October
Brandon then decided he was going to reformat the watch and reset everything which he did he did a short test which seemed to work much better than the last few so I took it home again hopeful
but unfortunately, I found it was still wildly inaccurate and this time I noticed it would also log steps while it was actually on charge
I decided I had had enough and wanted to return the watch and perhaps look at a different model
Cash Crusaders Primrose then told me I could not return this device as they do not cover it with a warranty
(This was not disclosed when I made the purchase)
and that if I wanted any money back I would have to sell the device through their store
i find this totally unacceptable and unfair and while i tried most of Friday
the 3rd of November to lodge a complaint with someone at Cash Crusaders Head Office or regional offices i have yet to find someone willing to answer the number i found on the website and take a call
In addition to this
i found Brandon to be very helpful and polite
while the rest of the staff in this particular store seem to think they are doing you a favor just by breathing
they have no customer service clue they are rude and obnoxious suggesting that one of my staff members leave the store because he was wearing a cap
they couldn't spell polite and have absolutely no manners at all! management seems to be anywhere except where they are needed, and the general feeling is that this store is run by a bunch of spoilt untrained Rude, and ignorant children
The watch is only worth R380 and in all honesty, is probably not worth the time i have spent on this complaint but this story might make for a great consumer documentary or at the very least be a pilot for a social media channel highlighting consumer issues
if you do not cover your products then never again will i purchase ANY Dixon or Cash Crusaders brand product NOT EVEN A SPOON

Ice cream machine
I pawned my ice cream machine in December 2022 at cash crusaders soshanguve block AA. The store was involved in a fire and i was told my machine was safe in their warehouse i should wait for the insurance company to resolve the store matter and they will later on contact me. It was in january 2023.february i went to check and the store was still closed and they were not communicating with me. On march o went again and i was told to be patient they are still investigating the cause of the store fire. In April i went again nd i was told the very same story, in May 2023 i went again and still there was no solution. I ended up sending a complaint to their customer service department i was replied and told to go to the stors they will assist me i went but still got the same story in june and i was told that the machine was written off by the insurance company so i should be patient. On july 2023 i sent another email to their customers service they replied with a call telling me that cash crusaders said they paid me for my ice cream machine and it was all lies. I told their customer service department to investigate the issue they replied with a case number saying they opened a case with the store manager but still now its nearly been a year with my unresolved matter and ive lost the whole of this year without making an income but their company is well operating and my machine costs R16000 and they only borrowed me R1500.

I have a loan against I ring with Cash Crusaders every month since taking loan I have extended this loan the last being September 28 in an amount of R84.00.
On Saturday at 17.25 I received an email advising "that buyback contract expires in 48hrs". Either simultaneously or shortly thereafter I receive a payment link ozow which I utilize to extend my loan and make immediate payment. I last extended this loan on 28 September in an amount of R84.00. However, after Saturday sms I never received the ozow payment link and have been unable to make payment. Several emails to yourselves is met with an automatic reply but no one has contacted me. A call to the Bluff office and I was advised that I have to come in and make payment. I have not managed to speak to anyone who can assist me nor have my urgent emails been answered. Online your site advises that easy payment can be made however when you go through the process of obtaining otp and trying to link account to make payment - t hat section is greyed out and you can go no further - hence doing an "easy payment" as your site advises its impossible - Is it Cash Crusader's Policy not to assist customers timeously so that that can loose their items?
Can someone assist me please. My ring is on sentimental value and I dont want to loose it because of lack of action or response from yourselves.

58 inch dixon plasma tv
Kindly be informed that on the 28 June 2023, I have returned TV Dixion 58 einch for repair at cash crusader trashed, since then I have follow up regarding the delivery but always shop assistant told me haven't received the TV from REPAIR
On the 1 August I went to store and follow up and I was advised that the head office did not dispatch the TV since they are still busy with.
On or 30 August 2023 I went to the store again to check the avaliabllity of my TV and same story "the still awaiting for the delivery from head office"
Futhermore, On the 8 and 25 th september 2023 I went to store to check, I was told that they haven't received anything from head office yet.
On the beginning of this month I spoke to store manager Sizwe and he told me that the head office said TV has been dispatched but they did not received it in their store.
As customer where does this situation leave me? Since the can't find my TV and bear in mind the I have spend lots of money in that, but now I'm suffering.
I hereby lodge this complaint and belive that it will be resolved emicably if not, it left with no choice but to take legal route.

Cordless dixion kettle worth r200
In July I bought a Dixion cordless kettle the value is R200, end of July the kettle is giving problems because we still have the slip my husband than return the kettle, they than told him that the kettle will be send away for repairs.. To me it was like it is within a month from purchasing the kettle and the value of it is R200 to be send away for repairs. I just let it be, on Saturday 30/9/2023 after not receiving any feedback I went back to the store and ask about the kettle only than the sales person fetches the kettle, which to me was so unprofessional as I was not contacted, having the kettle over the weekend the kettle boils water than the next it doesn't I tried it on Sunday but no luck, it will boil water and than it doesn't. Monday morning taking the kettle back the sales lady who issist me confirm the problem but still says that they going to see through the day and than send it back for repairs and only than hear from head office if they should replace it... To me this is so unfair I've been without a kettle thn I've been up and down paying parking etc for feedback like this, Ive contacting the complaints department but no luck.

On the 17th Of August 2023 had an emergency and had to rush my late mother in law to hospital and required money. We then pawned my sons playstation 4 (against his knowledge) with 2 controllers. The lady behind the counter hesitated to take it and mentioned that she could only give me 1600 as it was broken and I had to go for it. We were off and to cut a long story short, mother in law passed away on the 29th Aug. With my sister in law only having passed away 2 months earlier, we had pur hands full with everything in terms of arangements and then had to travel to NC. Upon remembering about the pawn I tried to contact them and did my best with limited network where we were but to no avail. I thought then they would perhaps call or understand my situation when producing the death cert and id but although they know me on a professional level as I do some IT jobs for them from time to time, they blatantly told me that it has been sold and that the funeral and reason were non of their business.
Desired outcome: They told me theres no way i could get it back the new client would not. I asked for the persons contacts so i could plead my case but they refused. They have sold it fpr 4800 after lying to me and saying its broken...
Cellphone buyback complaint

Branch : Cash Crusaders promenade mall Mitchell's Plain.
Today my complaint is regarding staff members and items on collections process and the attitudes and disrespect staff has with customers.
1. When collecting an item the seal/bubble wrap that was originally placed onto the phones box was opened upon collection.
2. The phone was switched on outside my presence.
3. Staff members had a major problem/attitude attending to me and allowed other customers to chip in whiles attending to me.
4.The phones original condition is not as to what I have left it with cash Crusaders promenade this is a huge concern.
5. Whiles I was waiting on them to bring the phone from the store room, they did not call me rather than unboxing the phone and go through the phone when I reached the counter they two staff members on shift , one guy and female African ethnicity both looked at me and laughed as if I was a joke after letting me wait for over 30mins. They then said oh sorry we didn't know it's your phone.
6. They had no right opening it and go through the phone , this explains why I have lost a brand new laptop previously at this store as customers items are being tampered with.
7. The staff members on duty at the buy shop today was pathetic the lady also threatened me and my kids along with a African guy who wasn't working for thr company whom she spoke to at the time whiles ignoring me this did not seem work or customer related more of a personal nature. This very same guy also threatened me saying I'm being rude which I wasn't being rude the more I'm telling her my husband would come Into to store with my I'd the more she kept on telling me about the I'd and that she refuses to give the phone to me I then said fine if you don't wna give my phone then refund me my money.
I would really appreciate it that someone calls me or make contact with me urgently as I feel this is not going to be the first or the last time that customers will be treated this way

Unprofessional sales employee
I called in at Cash Crusader klerksdorp and asked for information on how it works and so fourth, the manager answered and shared their WhatsApp number in order for me to have a better understanding of what they do, I did as I was instructed and communicated with an Employee called Tommy, he was okay and as I asked more questions as I went along he got agitated and he dismissed me like I'm a child, he is very rude and unprofessional. Even when I tried to communicate with him nicely. I work with people and I know when I go to work I leave my personal issues at the door and never mistreat anyone. Please be aware of this young man.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from Tommy himself for being so rude.
Ice cream machine
I pawned my ice cream machine in December 2022 at soshanguve block AA cash crusaders branch. I bought the machine R17000 i only took R1600 and on January when i had to collect back my machine i found out that the store burned, i nearly fainted. I tried calling their office number it was not working. I then decided to send an email to their head office and i was contacted and advised that as soon as the insurance company attends to the matter they wil contact all customers to come to the store as soon as the store reopens. I waited coz i understood that fire is a disaster. So i waited and waited and waited. I went to soshanguve plaza on April i found the store reopened nd wel operating. I enquired abt my ice cream machine and sme lady phoned their warehouse and checked on my item, and she was told that my ice cream machine is available it was not part of the fire,i was then relieved. So the lady told me that thy are stil busy wth the cases frm the fire they wil contact me to come and pay for my machine she took my phone number. On may i went bck to check again and i was told that al the cases frm the fire wer written off i hve to be patient they will contact me as soon as the cases are resolved. On june i went bck again nd told them why are they not giving me heads up i m the One who always goes to their store i never get any calls from them or any messages or emails pertaining my concerns and they told me they are stil looking at other cash crusaders to buy my machine so i was confused cz i was told my machine is available at their warehouse why aint thy collecting it and thy keep on saying my machine was written off. So now its nearly December again it will be a year without my matter been resolved but their company is making profit. And i am losing a lot without earning a cent frm my machine

Good day
I placed x2 gold chains and a pendant in bay back at Cash Crusaders N1 city
I received a sms that my items will expire in 48 hrs on the 12th September
On the 13 September I went to the store and I was told their system os offline
On the 14th I was told the same thing
I then waited for the sms with the payment link to make payment online as I usually do and I never received that link sms
Today I asked my husband John to rush quickly to N1 city to pay the extensions and they informed me that my items had lapsed.
Today marks only the 3rd day of items expiry date and the reason why I am late is because I was unable to make payment at the store due to offline systems and I never received the link sms
The store now wants me to buy back thw items for over 5k of which I don't have.
I understand that I am late by 3 days but it is partially due to the store.
I was at the store twice and I also wiated for the link.
If this was not in the way of me making the payment on time I would have and now my items is lost.
Seeing that the store had complications both at the N1 branch and online. I feel like yous could have been more understanding and more lenient towards me and my items

Faulty speaker, incompetent repair service, bad after service
I bought a DIXON BASF-10F 2X10inch LED Partybox 6 months ago. The speaker was hardly used, speaker just refused to switch on. The only issue was the power not coming on,After returning the item to store I explained the concern, just to find after first repair the volume and microphone controls was damaged by company who did the repairs. Item was send back again for repairs and came back even worse, volume and microphone controls not working.
Strange enough the staff at store claimed they tested the item which I think they did'nt do a proper job or lack the necessary knowledge.
Desired outcome: Please refund immediatly.
Faulty cellphone
I bought a cellphone on 12th of August 2023 at the George branch. On the 16th of August I reported a black spot at the bottom of the screen at the Mosselbay branch. They told me I must take the phone back where I bought it. I did so on the 21st of August and they said they have to take the fone and send it away. The manager was supposed to call me and never did. I asked for a loan fone since I did not even have the fone for two weeks but nothing. I went to the branch every week since then to resolve my problem, but nobody wants to assist me properly. R8000 gone.
Desired outcome: All I wanted was a loan phone while my phone went in for repairs because I do everything from my phone for work or at least a face to face with the manager.
Smart phone, doogee s97 pro
In September 2022 I bought a Doogee S97 pro rugged smartphone with a 1 year warrant and in April 2023 the phone stopped working, my understanding was the charge port was a problem so on the 27 of April I took it to the Cash Crusaders, Vincent Branch where I bought it. They took the phone to take it to the technicians but came back saying I must pay R2000 to fix because the problem was the battery and it is not covered. I fail to understand the logic of the warranty and I also did not see that in their warranty. Can we please get to the bottom of that because I think there was foul play in their part.

Defy tumble dryer
I purchased a defy Tumble dryer from Cash crusaders Springs, I contacted the sales Person Kyle prior to purchasing the item as I live in Centurion and its quite far, he assured me that the machine works and there is nothing wrong with it. He said the machine comes with a 6 months repair warrenty (i have whatsapp masaages to prove this) ,I than sent my husband to purchase the machine on the 31st August 2023. On the 2nd September, I tried using the Tumble dryer ,it switches on but does not do anything. I contacted the sales person Kyle and told him about the machine not working ,he said he will sent out a technician on Monday which is today, I massage him this morning he gives me the run around, I called the store the manager tells me to hold and doesn't want to speak to me ,she wants to hand over the phone to her Director that tells her why must he speak to me why can't she speak to me. Now they want me to bring the machine back to repair it, but i was promised that a technician will come out and sort out the problem, if i take it back to the store its gonna cost me more than what I paid for petrol . The 6 months warrenty is just a lie and doesn't apply.

Eastlynne store needs to be disciplined or change stuff.I made a call today and asked to provide my ID number for assistance since it's a normal requirement to be able to be assisted.the girl was very rude to a point she even hung up on me.i tried to call again as many times and the phone was not picked up and they knew it wqs me.I asked fir the manager and they said the manager was not in.then i personally went into the store and same girl continued being rude with insults this time,even mentioned i can report her and there's nothing i could so about it.

Good afternoon... I'm writing to complain about a product I had purchased from cash crusaders ladysmith branch, I had purchased an iphone 11 green in color from them on the 29/08/2023 and the representative was very helpful with the false information he had given me... I asked if the phone was ever fixed he said no and later went on to add that they don't purchase items that were once fixed which was a relief for me because r8000 is alot of money worse from loan monies...1stly the face recognition was not working which simply means it's not the original apple part... The phone was also advertised as a water resistant/ waterproof phone which was once again a lie please help!

Firstly I have prove of Kraaifontein cash crusaders making a agreement of r500 for my inverter and external hard drive in the buy back so when I came their they have all kinds of [censored] stories and on top of everything not asking me just selling my goods for r350 after we have a agreement for r500 in the buy back choice is urs or this will make front page news paper for not keeping to their policy

Bad service
Good day. I have been trying to get hold of the Balfour Park branch in Vincent, East London for over an hour now. Most of the numbers advertised on the internet are no longer in use. I eventually contacted another branch and the number they gave was also no longer in use. I Whatsapped them, as this was an option, and the message was neither read nor replied to. I am working and cannot go to their location. My urgency in reaching them is because of a product my mom pawned. She pawned without my knowing - I would have assisted her financially otherwise. She is old and didn't realize a payment had to be made yesterday - she thought she had until today to pay. She phoned me in tears as she went in to make a payment, but she was too late. I am hoping to speak to someone, to hopefully sort this out. All I need is to speak to someone at the branch, other than a bot. I would appreciate your assistance. Kind regards, Chantal.
