Yesterday, September 11, I went shopping at Memorial City Mall located
at 303 Memorial City Houston, Texas and as I was walking to the food
court a man named David from Bella Terra mineral cosmetics kiosk (KG
Cosmetics Group INC) stopped me asking me to try the makeup. I said no
but he insisted so I said yes and sat down to listen to his pitch sales.
At the end of the demonstration I told him I wasn't interested on buying the product. He got upset and told me that I wasted his time and I should pay the $35 for the "makeover". I wasn't offer a makeover and I didn't get a makeover but he insisted that I either pay his fee or pay for the makeup. I agreed to pay for the makeup as I am pregnant and I was starting to feel bad with contractions because I was intimidated by him.
When I gave him my credit card he mentioned that I have money so he
started to prepare a bag with 4 more products and pushing again for me
to pay for them an extra $200. I said no but he charged me more than he told me. (he said $69 and he charged $75.76)
I understand sales pressure but I think this is a scam as my daughter
later reminded me that David said "no charge" in the beginning.
When I arrive home I checked the website on the bag he gave me
www.bellaterracosmetics.com and the products were considerably lower
in price (example foundation brush, David $69 VS website $24.99)

He has this phone number on the ticket [protected] and on ink this
other one [protected].
Don't fall for it!

why? I don't know. Maybe I wanted to check it out to see if this makeup was good. I like makeup.
I am not complaining because he stopped me. I am complaining because he overcharged me and wanted to charge me for a makeover when he said it was free.

Just got the same scam at Memorial City from great sales guy named Jacob (he should be CEO) - paid $1300.00 in product thinking I could return. Found fine print on the receipt the next day that says no returns or refunds. What a sucker I am . . . .

Well I don't really know everything about American Laws with regards to consumers, and whatnot. I agree that it wasn't cool for the sales assistant to over-charge, but I personally LOVE Bella Terra Cosmetics, and I love even more the fact that the ingredients let my skin (combo skin) breath, and that they are vegetarian.
I am very sorry for your bad experience, but it's not cool to trash an entire brand over one really bad experience.

Stay beautiful, Bali ♡♡

I used to work with them, but I’m not Jewish, so they fired me on my first day, also they were mentioned that I will be pay cash which as far as I know it’s an illegal practice.
Next time you get approached for one of the false “salesmen” threat them with mall authority or even with state police and they will leave you alone immediately they even return your money regardless of the “no money back police that they internally created…. they will scare to death
Because the majority of those "salesmen" are non USA citizen, or if they are legal citizen, is because through illegal marriages to obtain citizenship... I worked with them

The exact same thing happened to me at the Woodlands mall... at a kiosk downstairs from the food court area.
A women approached me saying I looked "tired" and she wanted to make look look pretty and refreshed... I should have seen it coming. I tried to walk away but she was very persistent and followed me. I gave in and agreed to her free make up refresher. After applying 4 items to one side of my face, the sales pitch started. The cost for the products was over $600.00! When I flat out refused, she said,
" Don't tell anyone, I am going to give you good deal, because I like you"... Then she proceeded to discount everything...
Bottom Line, DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM! The products may seem good but IT IS A SCAM!

Thanks to Jennifer! A great Bella Terra Representative that stepped in and resolved my issues! It took over a month, but she got it done! I do suggest to anyone taking advantage of a makeup demo, no matter what company it is, to test wear the product BEFORE buying the product. I learned my lesson.

I allowed a sample of the makeup be put on me, I was pleased enough to buy some. After an hour I started having a reaction. My face burnt and itched so bad I had to wash it off. Naturally, in small print on the receipt it states "no refunds", however, I tried to reach out to customer service to make an exception since I was allergic. I have been ignored. Now I have unopened product I can't use and my wallet is a bit smaller. Once this company has your money, they could care less whether you're pleased with the product. I strongly urge anyone interested to test drive the product first before you let them talk you into a purchase. I really feel duped and taken advantage of. Shame on Bella Terra Cosmetics.

Oh yeah, I TOTALLY agree! They pulled a fast one on me, twice! I didnt notice just how totally pushy they were until my 2nd encounter. AND there are TWO kiosk charts at Memorial City Mall in Houston, Tx; one on EACH end. You are TOTALLy trapped, you have to pass at least one. The salesmens in this mall must do the training for the entire region! They are pros! Even when you pass and view other victims on their stool, they all have a look on their faces like "help me!" But, next time one of them grabs my arm, I will-
Plan A: Stop, tuck and roll with hand still attached to my arm
Plan B: Spider-man crawl up the side of the Forever 21 store front
Plan C: Call WellsFargo and tell them my debit card was stolen!
