Heard about the strange case of US Attorney Chris Riser of Financial & Tax Fraud Education Associates, Inc. (www.quatloos.com) who runs the fraud hate site, Quatloos/ Quatloosia?
Well, this high flying US Attorney and Military Intelligence expert was admitted as a UK solicitor in 2001, but it seems (sadly) chose to practice as one in the USA without a practicing certificate as confirmed in December 2010 by the UK Law Society (regulatory body for UK Solicitors). Even today, he is all over Google and LinkedIn as admitted and qualified to practise as a solicitor.
This controversial lawyer (see: /URL removed/) who many of his clients have accused of theft, practises as an international debt collection and asset protection lawyer under his firm Riser Adkisson LLP (www.risad.com) together with his partner, Jay Adkisson, another US attorney.
The Law Society is not to pleased about all this and seems all set to go for his head under the Solicitor's and Legal Services Act which prescribe up to two years imprisonment for him and his partner, Jay Adkisson, for the offence.
The "UK Lawyer" is actually a scam artist by the name of /name removed/ who is very unhappy that his activities have been revealed on Adkisson's Quatloos.com website, see more about /name removed/ here: http://goo.gl/Id7Ym
There is no case against Riser in the U.K., no arrest warrant, no trial, no sentence, no nothing except the ravings of a very whacko /name removed/ who is maliciously pounding on a public terminal in a cybercafe, between attempts to scam "due diligence" fees out of victims. Check for yourself and don't take his word for anything.

The SRA is transforming its approach to regulation. Our current consultation is the last chance to comment on the new regulatory handbook, including the new Code of Conduct, which will underpin the regulation of solicitors and law firms from October 2011. See www.sra.org.uk/consultations".
