I have always been frustrated trying to find the flight tracking app that pulled the best of other flight trackers together. I HATED that I had to search several apps to over in the true picture.
FLIGHTY has brought it all together and as a pilot and frequent traveler, this data is critical to my life. FLIGHTY is the ONLY flight tracking app I have now and I trust it completely.

I continued to subscribe to Flighty during the pandemic even though I obviously wasn’t flying anywhere. I just had the opportunity to use Flighty again and was immediately reminded that it an essential tool. This is my go to source for flight info and it doesn’t disappoint. The data sources are impressively accurate and better than airline feeds for status. Get the app and subscribe if you fly.

Love love love this App ! I love and breath Flightly ! It is so useful and use it daily .
ONLY thing I wish they had is to be able to add my flight info straight on my Apple Watch instead of my iPhone ! It’s a wonderfully designed app, but the data quickly falls apart if you stray from the beaten path in the US. Internationally, many flight attributes, like gate info, delays, aircraft types, and status are wrong or missing, even at major hubs like Seoul Incheon, Osaka-Kansai, Shanghai-Pudong, and Milan-Malpensa. It’s still the most beautifully designed flight tracking app, but the data needs some work.

There's really no better app to track your flights than Flighty. Yeah, it's not cheap - but nothing of value usually is.

We're not talking a simple flight tracker from city to city - Flighty tracks flights from gate to gate. It's so accurate, i actually tracked my inbound into SNA and as the aircraft made its way to the gate, i could see it making the turn to line up with the jetway.

Worth every cent.

We just returned from a 10 day trip with Flighty in my pocket. Love this app. So much information. So accurate. So needed if you fly. If you need to know something about your current or upcoming flight, Flighty has it covered. Man, does this app ever. We might fly once a year so it would be overkill for us to pay $50 a year for this app. But to pay $9.00 for our one flight a year? Yah, I’m in. Great app.

Only wish it showed boarding times too. Also, personally I wouldn’t mind the invasive email scanning if it were available, but I supposed it can be worked around through the calendar import. For example, there are old flights that aren’t on my calendar but that I have emails for that were not automatically imported. Obviously that’s not important for day to day, but the archive is incomplete without them.

The app is great. Support is top notch as they addressed an annoying issue I encountered and now the app works as expected. Impressed by all the flights that Flighty recognizes. I’ve been a Tripit user for 10+ years but had to change that when some flights I had could not be found in Tripit. Flighty had no issue finding and loading the flights. Also found Tripit missed some alerts. Problem solved with Flighty!

I understand the pay model but I think it’s a bit too expensive for what it does. I think running some sale periods would help me pull the trigger on a life time subscription. The weekly sub and monthly sub just don’t seem practical unless you travel A LOT.
It won’t be too long until major airlines push updated to use Dynamic Island and faster notifications when flying which will devalue the paid subscription…

Had to do my first app rating. I love this app. I travel frequently on business. This app makes travel 10X more informed. It has saved me so much time and money. It’s a miracle how it knows everything far before the actual airline. Example: I had an 11AM flight. Flightly notified me at 7AM my flight was delayed. The airline didn’t tell me until 10AM. The app is never wrong and it has made my life so much easier

I really love the app and its features. Unfortunately, the app does not update once you have selected a flight to watch. The tail number and path for that inbound aircraft show nicely in the app but when the airline makes changes, it does not show the changes. FlightAware is much more accurate in this aspect - and this is one of the most important features, at least for me. Sent in a bug report but no reply yet

I really enjoy the previous flights map and stats in this app. The interface is very nice and clean.

Please consider an additional filter to only show flights from a pilot/crewmember position! I noticed there’s an option to specify that when entering the flight, but I would love to see the map and flight stats for flights as a crewmember (similar to how you can select the flights for just a certain year). Thank you!

1. Since the latest update, all Eurowings discover flights have become Airbus Transport flights. 4Y is an IATA controlled duplicate, but it’s unbelievable that flighty can’t distinguish them. 2. Lately all my flights by European airlines (SK/LH/4Y) do not show real-time status or tail numbers, only the scheduled departures and arrivals. Why do I need a separate app for information that’s available on the boarding pass?

Ever since the app Flight Tracker left the App Store years ago there wasn’t anything quite the same in terms of design. This app has a clean layout with everything you need to know at a glance. Although, the data for the app is already out there so I’m not quite sure why the steep priced subscription model. A $10 download price seems more reasonable to me. I’ll use the free trial, but probably won’t be a paying customer.

It cost more than all my separate subscriptions and the lifetime is just as ridiculously priced. Im all for supporting developers but i cant see how anyone can justify those prices in todays global economic climate.

But besides the pricing its a beautifully designed app and it deserves a try by any flyer.

If you make the subscription pricing a bit more reasonable or have a sale then i will purchase lifetime instantly

Love the app, but it’s very neutered unless you cough up for the notably pricy subscription model. I originally expected most features to be unlocked with some extras added for those who subscribe or donate (like Apollo Reddit). But after my first flight demo, it became basically useless without paying for more. Personally will not be using unless they rework their pricing/features or have an ad support version or something

My wife and I both travel a lot. Just found this app. It’s a little expensive - but packed with lots of features. >> than Flight Update Pro and other trackers I was using.
And if you look at their release history, you’ll see they are rolling out lots of upgrades. Customer services is amazing - I could not get my phone and iPad to synch. Sent them an email, got a reply in about 3 hours, and problem fixed shortly after that.

I was about to write my own app after being disappointed with the flight tracking apps I had used in the past. I saw an ad for this app, downloaded it, and absolutely love what they’ve done. The only thing I wish they’d add is the ability to see wxr radar data as well as the ability to tune into radio comms of different airports. Also maybe the ability to get the raw METAR for an airport. But yes, absolutely amazing no regrets.

In addition the app pimps the pro features all over the UI. Makes it very clear that the free version is a kind of trial that is not going to let you have any fun without paying. Tripit integration requires ongoing subscription unlike other good apps that are one-time pay.

Deleting this app after the first launch. Will stick with apps I already purchased that don’t nag me and don’t require ongoing ransom to maintain functionality.

Was on a flight from FLL to MSP recently and used Flighty (free version) for the first time. The app indicating that we had landed but we were still in the air. That’s fine but then watching the mapping feature, the plane went from MSP and then started moving to somewhere towards Canada. I didn’t follow it very long but found it strange. NOT SURE if I wanted to get the PRO version but decided to try it for a year to see. Thanks.
