I purchased hearing aids on 01/17/2020 from Hearing Life, 59 Industrial Pk Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360. The receipt states all aids include 3yr warranty, including loss, damage and repair.
When one aid stopped working, I contacted Hearing Life for service on October 10, 2022. I was told I could drop off my aid at their office during the customer 'walk-in' service hour between 1pm-2pm.

When I arrived I was informed I needed to make an appointment to drop off my aid and I would be charged $65. They were aware I was under warranty, but had passed a '1yr exclusion' period.
They stated when I called, I had reached a company 'answering service' and was given incorrect information. I was given a business card with another number, told to call again and schedule an appointment.

I sent a letter to Hearing Care Solutions, Inc., 5889 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 to inform them I never received anything in writing regarding their policy, or being charged a service fee. I also stated that I believed their policy was confusing and wanted an address where I could mail my aid for service as I was still within the warranty period.

On, or about Nov 10th, 2022 I received a call from Hearing Care Solutions and was told the best way to receive service was to return to the Plymouth, MA office (where I made the original purchase).
They also said I would have to pay $50 to cover shipping and insurance, which I agreed to do. The aids I purchased (Phonak Audeo M-90 T) had a 1yr exclusion period which is why I had to pay the fee.

On Nov.21, 2022 I returned to the Plymouth, MA location and once again told I needed to make an appointment to drop the hearing aid off, and I would have to pay $50, plus any additional service charge for parts and repairs needed.
On Nov. 22, 2022 I wrote another letter to the Colorado corporate office requesting a resolution to my situation. I have not heard back from them.

I did get a call in Dec., 2022 asking if I would like to schedule a hearing evaluation. I explained my issue, but the person I spoke to said they were unaware of any problem.

Desired outcome: I expect Hearing Care Solutions to honor their warranty and repair my hearing aids. I agree to pay for shipping and insurance, even though they were contacted before my warranty expired. Thank you.
