Improper installation of front entry doors.
In September of 2022, I purchased pre-hung front entry doors which were installed by Lowe’s Service Provider, Install Partners. During a severe windstorm. fierce. howling noises were heard coming through the front doors. From the interior of the house, you could see a gap across the top of the door and another that stretched from top to bottom where the doors met. With the doors locked I was able to see the street outside through the opening. I contacted Lowes Customer Service regarding this, and Install Partners sent the same installer twice to correct the issues. He inserted shims in the door latches, black tape where the doors meet at both top and bottom, and black, plastic weatherstripping around the door. The sticky tape at the top of the door soon came off and attached itself to the other door making it difficult to open which eventually caused the bottom of the front door handle to come loose. You can now see plastic weatherstripping in the gap between the doors. The door hinges had many nails inserted on an angle, hinges that were not flush with the door jamb and what appeared to be some type of glue on the top hinge which oozed out from under it. My gas and electric bills have both changed significantly from 2022 and 2023 during the summer and winter months and both bills now exceed $100.00 more during peak months. Until 9/1/2023 my contact with Lowes Customer Service was courteous. My only disappointment was that they never responded to my request to have someone from Lowe’s Installations come out and inspect the doors. On Friday, 9/1/2023 at 1:05pm, I received a call from Lowe’s Customer Service regarding the outcome of Install Partners latest service call on Wednesday, 8/30/2023. I told the representative that nothing much had changed. The black sticky tape had been removed from the top of the door where the two doors met, and the area had been repainted and the lock had been reattached to the door however, the approximate ¼ inch gap between the doors remained. I further stated that I had told the installer that I was very disappointed with the gap between the doors still showing. He responded that it was normal for this to happen. I had previously included pictures of the door problems to Lowe’s Customer Service in my requests for help, however, on at least two occasions the person I spoke to wasn’t able to locate them. What the representative did find on the 1:05pm call on September1st were pictures provided by Install Partners from the visit on August 30th that she said were blurry and hard to make out. The Customer Service representative told me that she would check my information and I would hear back from them. At 2:52pm I received a second call from from another call from Lowe’s Customer Service. The agent. informed me that Lowe’s would do nothing more to resolve my problem since the installer reported that the ¼ inch gap between the doors was normal. She wouldn’t let me speak, raising her voice and talking over me when I tried to speak, causing me to become upset. She told me she didn’t have to listen to me because by then I was trying to talk over her, asking her to let me speak. I am 87 years old and have never been treated so rudely in my entire life. I told her I would file a complaint with Lowe’s, and she told me she would give me the contact information to do so and, at that point, she hung up on me. I called Customer Service again at 3:49 to make sure I had the right name of the person who had been so rude. The representative was very helpful. taking my information and letting me know she would fill out a complaint for me, giving me a case number of 0944896. I called customer service again on September 8th to see what happened with my case and was told it had been closed out because the installer had reported that a gap between exterior doors was normal.
Dishwasher
My installer open the boxed materials only find the dishwasher was damaged, I Can send you pictures of the hanging part. This is getting madning because the dryer you sent me was damaged. Now i will have to pay my installer twice once you send the replacement dishwasher. I feel Lowes should install my replacement dishwasher at no charge to me. My cell phone number is [protected]. Service company ultimate home services
My name is James Perillo and I live in Noblesville, IN. I had flooring installed yesterday and they didn't complete the job. I have been in touch with both Lowes and Ulitmate Home Services and they are telling me that the job is complete. They then told me that they don't do caulking on the copping (I think that's what is called) but they did some. Even the installers said they were going to caulk it. They were here from 8:30 AM until 8:30 PM and the job isn't complete. I received an email asking me to give them a 10 on their survey. I have been in touch with the local folks and they aren't able to help me. They want me to take a day off from work to accommodate their schedule. What about my schedule? Why would someone go to another job before this one is complete? I have pictures of the work that was completed and I am sure anyone from Lowe's would not be happy with the job that was completed. I need someone to come out today and finish this job so I can put my house back together. I have asked for the email address of the CEO but no one will give it to me so I can send him the pictures. I have sent the pictures to the local Lowe's store. The store manager Caleb said it was in installation's hands and they couldn't get out here until Thursday. Again, why can't someone come out and finish the job before they go to the next job? I have spoken to Savanah, Miasha and others, no one seems to be able to help me. I have even offered to have someone come after hours, and no one will come. I am not sure this is the way to sevice customers.
Desired outcome: I need someone to come out today September 12, 2023, to finish the job. They want to come out Thursday but both my wife and I have to work. Is someone going to pay me to stay home?

I purchased my product. Twice Lowe's called with the wrong product and I had to correct them TWICE. I didn't want them having to come to my home and then have to return everything so I made sure they got it right. Okay, that was okay, but not terrific. Finally, Kelly's came, the installers, and installed the flooring and ONE threshold. The guy and his wife were really nice and did a great job. Until I noticed it wasn't finished. Where are the 3 thresholds for bedrooms? He didn't know where they were. Lowe's called because Kelly called Lowe's about the missing thresholds and Lowe's said to me, I didn't order them. Really? You don't think when they came and measured they didn't notice I needed a finished flooring? I was happy and now I am sad and angry at Lowe's. .Lowe's used to be my go-to. I want this fixed or I will put a complaint in and try to get my money back for a service and product that was incomplete and a stress caused to me. I just got off the phone to report my card being loss thinking its a simple issue, apparently not.. First they want all my info ss#, ph#, where I lost it anybody have access to it then after all that she wants to send me a ink to somewhere I then link onto it on my phone and it leads me to no where... To verify its me who filing the loss... So I told her its not working then she has me on hold to then comes back and tell me to try it again... I told her im 70 yrs old and im computor illiterate, I then asked to speak to her supervisor because were not getting anywhere... Delivery of vanities
I ordered (2) 72" vanities online from Lowes (order #[protected]). They were delivered by Estes Freight. I was unaware anyone was at the house. The vanities were left sitting in the yard. I was not contacted at all to advise when the delivery would be made. I had to pay to have the vanities put inside the house. They were very heavy. It rained the same day they were delivered. This is not acceptable service from Lowes or Estes.

In regard to the above order number which was placed on July 10, 2023. My order was scheduled for July 22, 2023, from 8 to 12 which didn’t happen, then for September 7, 2023, from 8 to 12 which didn’t happen, then on September 11, 2023, from 12 to 4 which is not happening today. Now they have changed the delivery to September 16, 2023, from 8am to 8pm and I wasn’t even asked if I plan to be home that day. I’m not waiting for 12 hours to again be disappointed by Lowes. I have wasted at least 5 hours of my life which I will never get back, waiting on hold. I had two different customer service agents tell me my order is in from GE as of August 21, 2023. I am extremely frustrated with Lowes about lying to me when I will get my item. I can’t locate a single person and/or manager or anyone who can tell me anything about my order. I have asked for a manager twice this morning and the hold time is always an hour, probably because of a lot of pissed off customer like me, which is an understatement. I have come to the conclusion, that yes; my freezer was received but probably went to someone else. Lowes is just covering this up and can’t tell me the truth.
Would you please find out what is going on with my order and let me know why I am not receiving my order today as promised.

it rang up regular price. I got a photo of the sign. Then they called the dept manager and he said he was sorry and the sign should not have been up and he took it down. but then gave an attitude, saying he told me it was a different product number, they had the clearance item and replaced it with the new one and that the sign should not have been up. I asked for the clearance price due to signage and he got mad. I told him there are truth in signage and bounty laws against false advertising. The sign was up on the product, the product description was exactly the same. He told me good luck with a lawyer and started making fun of me, because the item number that he could not read was different. HE COULD NOT READ IT. So how could a customer?
A store manager was called and she said that the product number was different so she would not honor the signed price. I told her that was illegal and she rolled her eyes and sneered.
I am sick of poor inventory management and then crappy service. This was their fault.
Honestly, I don't really care about the product, it wasn't what I came in for, but do you stupid job and accept the consequences when you screw it up.
They had false advertising. this is their fault.
BS they made me feel like a retard and a Karen. They should not have acted that way when it was their fault.
Laws protect consumers or we stop buying, as I did from Lowe's.

I live in Galesburg , ill the text that was sent to me says it is ready to pick up in Chicago 8411 South Holland Road. first of all l cancelled it the same day and I would not order anything that would require me to drive to Chicago to pick anything up. This is a letter to describe my experience with Lows dept store On 6/1/23 I went to lows to purchase some flooring to be installed in my house. I thought this would be a simple thing. After a few weeks (aprox 05/28/23) I heard from lows that a employe would come over to measure my floor areas in my house, The person came measured the two small areas to be worked on, I ordered the flooring paid for its to installation. After a few weeks I heard back from lows telling me that they would be coming to install my new flooring. I took a few phone calls . And then they told me that I had to pay more money to order more product that they said was not ordered in the original work order to complete this job, I paid addition to the original payment. . It took a while but they finally came over to install the flooring.. When they came over they never told me or called me to tell me when or what time. When they showed up they told me that they couldn’t do the job because the old flooring had to be removed and the appliances must be moved before they could do the job. In the original agreement it states that included the removal the old flooring. And moving of the appliances.. The installers left. So I took this matter in my own hands and physically removed the flooring and moved the appliances.so they would come back that day to install the flooring. Instead the worker left for the day without telling me what they where doing ? So I was left not knowing weather they where coming back that day or what ? Then the next day and several days later I had to call many times to the installer and lows to arrange them to come back to get my flooring installed.. When they finally came to install the flooring they installed just part of the original order . They only installed one room after I paid for both rooms to be installed witch is in the original workorder and measurements that were taken from the beginning of this whole prosses. After many phone calls lows told me that they would make another work order so they could finish this simple job. Instead they called me and told me that they where not going to install the rest of the flooring that I paid for in the orig. Work order. So I was left with only part of this job completed. One room that I paid for was still without any flooring even though I paid for two areas to be completed. What Lowes have shown is there lack of professionalism. They did not handle this job correctly and left me, the consumer, very unhappy and unsatisfied. The problem started with the original measuring of the floors. That I know was for both rooms areas . You can check on this with the orig paperwork when the measurer made his measurements. I sure you have this info in your paperwork? I was never was told about my responsibly to remove the old flooring and appliances. that was originally included in the original work order. And I was charged for this, But after the fact I was informed that there would be a $800 charge to have the floor removed ect. Why was I not notified of this charge when I was quoted in the original, work order ? I had to remove the flooring & move the appliances myself. And then, both the floors were measured and talked about . I even asked the installers why they had leftover materials that I had paid for in the original workorder but the Martelles where short 5 inches ,The installers told me that they would return to install the remaining flooring at a later date. I still have the leftover roll of flooring in my Gurage waiting to be installed ? Instead I called many times to lows & the installer to ask when they were going to install the rest of the flooring in my house. That you can see on the orig workorder, Instead I was told that they were done and that I will not be having anymore help with this matter. So like I said now im left with a roll of flooring in my garage I paid for and a job that I paid for a job that was never completed, The simple fact’s are Lows charged me for a simple flooring job charged almost 2000 for two small areas in my house over charged me for all the Martelles ...Came to my house installed part of the flooring left me with a roll of flooring and never came back to finish this job.. Then expected me to be happy with this ? Im sorry but this is not all adding up with me, please help me with matter.

Windows and doors
I had all my home windows and doors some time ago with E366 sun control.
This was installed by the previous installation team from Lowes Stuart Florida.
Over 4 month ago I noticed that one window had a interior glass leak which fogged up the window. I contact Lowes Stuart Florida and Jeld Wen and they shipped a replacement window. Lowes Stuart sent out an agent to replace it, a simple process within 10 minutes. The individual could not handle the replacement and in the process it damaged the slides inside the frame. I know because I was present and heard the loud pop. He then insisted that the window was installed improperly. This was a lie and I reported it to Joh at Lowes. I presently had all the parts shipped Jeld Wen and have been waiting for more then several months for someone to come out and insert the new window, 10 minutes job Final some one came out and said it was missing a part, now the additional part came in some time ago and I am still waiting for the new installation team that you hired to come an replace the window section. I have been purchasing everything from Lowes for over 23 years and I must say, as previous Logistical annalists for the government and military for over 43 years of service, this team has a lot to be desire. I would fire them in a minute. They are incapable as far as I am concern and would suggest you look elsewhere for a better team, you Lowes team have the same opinion.
Window installation
In the early part of October 2022, I purchased 10 windows from Lowes in Lithonia GA. The Lowes install team came to my home a few days later to take the measurements, they came to install the windows in February 2023. During the installation, they discovered that two of the windows was mismeasured, and promised to come back in a few days with the corrected measurements, that was seven months ago, and I still don't have my new windows. I have paid for the windows and I am very disappointed, and confused as to why my windows aren't installed as of this day? Lack of repair on washer
My washing machine broke on 5/27/23, (washer was just under 2 years old), since then I have been dealing with Lowes Protection Plan Plus. I have been trying to resolve this issue with Lowes (over 100 days) my machine has not worked one day, I have had 6 service calls and they are unable to fix the washer. As of this date 9/8/23 Lowes is refusing to refund or replace my machine. We are at a standstill. I'm not sure what my next step is but I do not recommend working with Lowes, Assurant or Sears (all involved in the repair of this product).

Lowes needs help with installing a water heater!
I suffered great stress and at 76 years old for the store being so indifferent to even tell me that they were not selling or installing the water heater was shocking and leaving me no alternative!
I had to find, a plumber to aid me, that was not surprised that lowe was doing this to me!
He was great and I recommend him for all.
I will not be going to loews in the future and telling all I know about what they did!

My name is Michaeline Moore, and I am writing this complaint regarding my kitchen cabinet and countertop installation. We chose the cabinet and preceded with the cabinet order in June 2022. Since that time the cabinets had to be redone 7 times, and the countertop once after initial installation. The whole project has taken a year and 1/2 to finally complete. During the initial 7 months we were left without a kitchen (I was recovering from recent
surgery), unable to cook and washing dishes in bathtub.
We paid with cash upfront for cabinets, counters and appliances. During installation our stove was kept in the warehouse, and had front glass cracked rendering it unusable. At that point we were promised a refund of $1000.00 dollars, which we still haven't received yet. Also, a sink we purchased was sold to someone else, which left us scampering to look for another since Lowes had none in stock.
I feel this whole process with selecting Lowes for our kitchen installation has been a negative experience. With that all said, Lowes support team has been stellar in getting this tedious task accomplished. I am asking Lowes to have someone contact me [protected]) to discuss the poor customer service we have experienced, as well as helping us get our $1,000 dollars in cash form, not in the form of a Lowes gift card.

Refrigerator
I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s on 9/1/2023. It was delivered to my home on 9/3/2023. The one delivery employee removed the water line from the shut off valve without turning the shut off valve off which caused water to leak onto my laminate flooring and into my basement.
The Whirlpool refrigerator that was delivered has a squeaky door ( sounds like nails on a chalk board) every time the door’s opened. I called twice to try and resolve this to no avail. I’m going yo fold a complaint with the BBB and the Offive of Attorney General if this is not relived timely.
Desired outcome: I want my home inspected for water damage and a new door installed.
