SCAN Health Plan, Long Beach, CA review: Medicare advantage classic

Rude, inconsiderate and awful member services! I have serious spine and spinal cord surgery on june 19th 2023 and was supposed to start specializes phys therapy 3 weeks after to restore use of my legs and arm, it's been almost two months without physical therapy! I was sent authorization to a "pt" facility near me that refused, saying (rudely) they weren't taking new patients, backed up over a month and to request another! I looked for another, and could only find nearby specialist pt facilities that were "out of network" (monarch group). I spoke to one very nearby and they said they would take an out of network authorization a d start me within a week! I filed a grievance and an appeal with scan to get this pt facility and scan refused to "expedite" my appeal, saying spine and cord surgery pt was not urgent! Can you believe that? I can guarantee you I will be switching to another seniors medicare advantage plan company in december who uses anyone other than monarch/optum medical network!
