Bob's Discount Furniture - Mattress delivery

I placed an order for a mattress at BOB's Discount Furniture store located at 5200 Brandywine Parkway, Wilmington De 19803. The purchase was made on 5/20/21. The mattress was not in stock but we were told it would be delivered on or before 7/10/21. We were subsequently notified that delivery would be delayed until late August 2021. Now we just received another notice that delivery is not anticipated until late September 2021. This is a deceptive trade practice and I never would have made this purchase if I knew that there delivery promises are meaningless. I went to a competitor first and the mattress I was interested in there was in stock and ready for immediate delivery. If I had been told that delivery would be delayed months following order I never would have dealt with Bob's. I have tried to call to no avail. I have emailed them twice and no response. They obviously engage in deceptive sales practices, and do not stand behind their products. Customer satisfaction is of no concern to them.

Desired outcome: Refund

Bob's Discount Furniture - professionalism, delivery, promising that is not followed through with

I technically wouldn't even give them a one star so my first experience was about 2 years ago when I purchased a sofa set I received that set 9 weeks after purchase when I was scheduled to pick it up in 2 weeks and every time you called they just gave you the run around. Awful customer service. I then made the mistake by trying it again a month ago and ordering a sectional that was then promised to be available for pick up once again the following week and didn't hesitate to take the money right out of my account. I am now 4 weeks out and they only have 2 pieces out of the 6 pieces of the sectional and could not tell the exact date the rest will be available. Long story short complete waste of time I had no other choice but to cancel and be reimbursed my money and go somewhere else. Managers at the Delaware store do not care about their clients nor do the respect anything about them and pretty much are liars.
