Rainbow Shops - Store00253 trans#/operator 5644aa trans 369610 trans 369614

I brought a return item because it was too small for daughter who I brought for sleep away camp for her. When she returned it was too small so I decided to return it while I was visiting my mom in Rosedale.

The cashier seemed to have an attitude from the beginning. I tried to have small talk with her but she just took the item and said you will have to have a exchange I said ok. I thought I gave her the right price tag, however she did the return with the receipt that was for $4.99 when she gave me the price I said I paid more for the Bermuda shorts which the receipt was in the pocket. while I'm there she was scorn full would not even interact with me she would place the pen not to touch me and then she threw the receipt on the counter at that point the nameless manager was there. He did not descale but took the side of the cashier which he did not see the interaction with the cashier.

I felt discriminated against the manager and the cashier spoke in their language which was Spanish. As an African American paying customer the girl cashier felt she didn't need to talk to me and even the manager kept on just allowing the cashier to be rude and not solve the problem.

I was violated and felt like I was not a human being.

after I purchase my item I ask the manager what is name he said "I'm not telling you don't need to know my name I am the manager and that is it" . The camera should be checked and see how I was treated like I was a dog. they are going to tell their version it surprise me that the manager did not even apologize the cashier never said do you have another receipt she just exchange the item knowing that was not the price.

you don't return without receipt but there should be some communication done better training with associate and manager to help a customer who was in the right of doing a exchange and they were discriminatory..
