Vinted Useless customer support, not answering legal team

People use this site only until they realize that this company doesn't care about its users, the customer service doesn't reply to questions, only sends the templates they receive that has nothing to do with the complaint and they send the client to their legal team that couldn't care less, doesn't even take the effort to reply at all. They won't transfer your money and you won't have a chance to get it from them. So stay away until you can.
As a bonus they don't care about the users' private data either, they received even a 2.4 million euro fine from the EU in 2024.

Recommendation: Stay away from this company.

Vinted I love it

I love it. The app is easy, good customer service, great buyers and sellers. If you read guidelines and follow rules you should have no problems. I am very confused by a lot of the negative comments here. They have gone out of there way to help me as a seller and a buyer several times. I average about $250 a month. Could not be happier.

Vinted I like vinted

Even do i saw all these bad reviews i been with vinted for about a year i have sold and bought items on this site and i have never had a problem. The only issue is, if you as a seller dont send an item they give u a negative feedback, but other than that i have sold a little over $1000 and i can deposit on to my bank account. I definitely recommend.

Vinted Convenient easy site to manage

Closet clean out easy by taking photos of item front back and any special details. App lets me easily upload photos, write description and price it. Immediately is on the site. I'm notified of someone's "like" and purchase. Buyer has to pay Vinted before shipping label available for me to print. Site allows texting from buyer to make offers and sellers to counter or accept

Vinted Just opened an account and been accused by Vinted of using it for fraudolent activities

I opened an account on 1st April and never used it.
It has been blocked due to "strong indicators I am using it for fraudolent activities"
I find it appalling and totally unacceptable.
This company communicates in a passive aggressive way.
False criminal accusations are not acceptable.
I will not use this app any time in the future but I am a model resident in the UK and I am very upset right now.

Vinted Rubbish app!

Their customer service is literally non-existent. Parcel was damaged in transit yet they didn't care at all and just kept sending me automated responses relating to something completely different. I only managed to get my money back thanks to the seller who was really helpful and opened a dispute with them herself. Otherwise, very disappointing. Reading other reviews for this app is unbearable. Be aware when using Vinted.

Vinted Not a scam!

By using vinted i've made over $10,000. I'm not sure why others claim this site is a scam. You are only blocked if you scam others, make multiple accounts or are embarrassing other users. Other than that - there is no way to get blocked from the site or no longer allowed to buy/sell.

I've had extremely good luck with vinted. The customer service is incredible and replies within 24 hours. Highly recommend this app as long as you can follow the rules.

Vinted Awesome App :)

I love Vinted for more than one reason alone. The community of members is great... very supportive and from all backgrounds. Being a seller is great! I've made over $800 in only 4 1/2 months from things just sitting in my closet. I also enjoy buying things every now and again too. The app is definitely not a scam. It is still growing so realistically problems happen sometimes. This is life. The support team tries to help the best they can and resolve issues quickly if they arise. Again I love the app, money made, and items bought so far.

Vinted I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vinted!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vinted! I have poshmark as well but this app is so much better and much more simple. Vinted lets you post pictures that are yours only and not some picture you stole online that a size 0 model is wearing. They have much more rules and restrictions than poshmark but I love it. That is why this app is so simple to sell and buy. It was super easy for me to learn and over all I just love it. I have no complaints besides the fact that there should be more people on it like poshmark. Because there are soooooooo many people on poshmark and vinted doesn't have many girls selling so I don't really see new stuff that I like on there often.

Vinted Theft by vinted

I am a Vinted member, I purchased a pair of Adidas Campus, They went missing in transit (possibly stolen by one of the staff). Me and the seller were in amicable communication regarding this, Vinted accepted that they were never going to arrive, they refunded the seller, then because I ACCIDENTALLY clicked the wrong button said I could go and take a hike, I will not get my money back. Even though they KNOW they have gone missing through the couriers they use. I think this is despicable and pure Theft. I will not back down they know they are wrong.

Vinted Account banned without due diligence

i recently sold a branded shirt with the brands qr code, the buyer said its fake even though its not and i told her to use the qr code and she ignored this and repported me to vinted, i said the samr thing to vinted but still they didnt do that they then banned my account and told me i wont get my item back! this is crazy! i want my item back then!

Vinted Not paying me for items sold and received

Last six months sales in Vinted cancelled by them and Refunds given to buyers for goods they received and gave feedback for, I have proof of postage for all, but I used Royal Mail, and paid myself for postage, all have been received and tracking was given, I didn’t use their digital labels as I had my items collected from me by Royal Mail, and scanned by them as received from me. I posted all items well within the requested time to send. All correctly addressed. Weight.

Vinted Still waiting a refund on a product never received

I need a refund I payed the buyer protection and sent lots of messages. Why haven’t I received it? £8.85 I will be making a formal complaint to trading standards. This has caused me so much upset and stress

Vinted Vinted

Great until something goes wrong, bought an item for £25 plus postage. A random package of clothes turned up instead. Took lots of photos and made claim. Vinted won’t refund me until they have been satisfied by their investigation with the courier, in this case Inpost. But also I guess wrong label could have been put on by anyone. Weeks are going by and I feel like a suspect not an out of pocket customer. I was always reassured by the buyers protection added to the purchase price. No longer. Not sure what’s worse losing the money or being at best valued so little as a customer after nearly 10 years of positive buying and selling history or worse being suspected of doing something wrong on purpose. Upsetting and as yet still not concluded and I’m carrying a sense of injustice like they think I’m dishonest.

Vinted Booked account

Vinted blocked my account, I have emailed on numerous occasions with no avail, this is very frustrating as I was a good customer with 5star reviews. The only response is they stick by there decision but there is no way you can challenge there decision. I would like to be unblocked. I know I am not the only one as I have been on a site on Facebook where there is a lot of people in the same situation with the same complaint with the same response. There must be more I can do. Thank you

Vinted Wanted me to "reverify," wouldn't accept phone numbers, refused to help, lost item already bought

This is about the fourth message I sent to Vinted to attempt to rectify the situation. You will see here exactly what happened, though after this message was sent, my second purchase was cancelled, so I lost out on one of only two things I bought from this company. They have outright refused to respond, even though I have contacted them through multiple places and explained that I have no problem verifying my account a second time, but I don't know why they won't accept my phone number. My number of perfectly legitimate, I use it for both business and personal calls and have had it almost two years through T-Mobile's business accounts. Here is the final(probably 4th) message I sent to Vinted, which they ignored along with all the others:

"This is my final attempt to rectify this situation. I made two purchases and was then hit with a warning about "suspicious activity." I suppose the suspicious activity of making purchases through your service? I asked what the "suspicious activity" was, you won't tell me. You want a phone number to confirm - I have provided two of them and you won't accept either of them. Do you REALLY think I'm going to go out and purchase a new phone in the hopes that you'll accept whatever number I get? You expect me to buy a new phone line just to spend money on second hand clothing? I've contacted you multiple times and you have flat refused to help me in any way. You've only told me to provide a new phone number - I DON'T HAVE ONE. If my T-Mobile phone number isn't good enough for you then I don't know what to tell you at this point, I'm sure not going to buy a new phone or install a new line just for your store(and which you will more than likely arbitrarily deem "invalid" with no explanation, as you've done twice now).

The saddest part is, I have a seller, whom I made a purchase through, sending me messages, and I CAN'T REPLY because your company randomly decided that me buying from you was "suspicious" and my legitimate phone numbers are "invalid." You know, the same phone numbers associated with the credit card that you had no problem running? So I have NO IDEA what this seller is saying to me or if it's important, because I can't see messages because your company is pulling this random stunt.

Amazing how you have no issue pulling money from my card but you have an issue with everything else. Funny how that works.

At this stage this is my last attempt to reconcile this (rather ridiculous) problem. As a newer company somewhat struggling for membership, driving people off for no reason, and refusing to even give a reason, after a single purchase is a rather odd business strategy. Even odder since you certainly don't need legal trouble at this time, and if I find any issues with my card, and do not recieve the items I paid for, I will be filing reports with the FTC, FCC, BBB, and possibly consulting a lawyer.

All I've asked is for you to either verify the valid number I'm using, or offer some explanation as to what the issue is. At this stage, I have contacted you at least three times through three different places, and you have staunchly refused to offer any assistance on the matter, simply reiterating that my purchases were suspicious and that you need a phone number. The fact that I provided two numbers which were refused for no given reason was never addressed."

Vinted Payment not received.

I sold an item and posted it using the QR Code/ Shipping Label, paid for by the buyer, generated by Vinted.

I put the item in an Inbox locker on 12/2, around 1400. It has been delivered. Inbox have confirmed I used a Vinted generated label and have updated me at each stage of delivery.

Vinted will not give me my money. Keep making daft excuses.

Have you tried to contact or deal with this company? I'm sure I'm dealing with robots. Not very advanced robots.

Disgrace of a site/company.

Vinted I didn’t receive the item I paid for

I bought a pair of Childs wellies from Vinted for £13.59 on 3/1/24.

I received a little miss lunch bag, I sent the sellers a message and was assured that she had not sent the bag. It seems the lockers had been muddled. I spoke to Vinted who were looking into it. After many messages they are still looking into it?

They won’t tell me where to return the bag and haven’t given me or the seller a refund.

I don’t know where to turn they just keep sending the same message. I paid buyer protection but for what?

Vinted Impossible to ship my parcel because of automation

I have listed a pair of "Timberland style waterproof boots" and found a buyer. I am disabled and can't get to one of your pick up points, so I arranged a courier pick up. He arrived as requested but couldn't deal with it without a printed shipping label. No, I'm not made of money so I don't have a printer. Neither do any of the locker drop points near me. I have been in touch with the potential recipient and she wants the boots for her autistic son. A human could have sorted this in seconds but since you don't have any, even in the complainants department, I am out £4.89 and you are holding £30 from the recipient. Not a very Good service eh? I will, of course, share my short but final journey with your ( dis ) organisation and would really suggest you get a new courier service ,as Amazon did, because Hermes/Evri are as useless as they have always been. Please send a message to my recipient goergiaknght1977 to explain that this failure is not down to me. I can be contacted on the above email or you could even get one of your team to phone me [protected]

Vinted Customer service or buyer protection

I bought a mirror from Vinted.

I refused the package on January 15 because the mirror was broken.

To begin with :

1-The pick up point was changed to a different one (in Diegem) other then the one I had chosen (in Nossegem) 2-when I went to the pick up point, the gentleman informed me that the package was completely damaged and the mirror broken, so I refused the package. It's the carrier's responsibility, no? In this case its Chronopost, tracking number XJ166794122JF.

Chronopost only accepts a complaint if it comes directly from Vinted and not from the buyer or the seller.

3- when I went to the vinted application, I didn't have the "I have a problem" button, it said "delivered" while the mirror was still at the Pick up point. So it's a computer error from vinted.

Today, I find myself paying for the package in full with delivery costs.

This is totally scandalous! I have contacted vinted several times via e-mail and via the application, but it seems no one reads properly my messages.

I have made a complaint on Test Achat Belgique and Vinted keeps sending me silly replies.

Vinted also told me to check with the seller. It's neither my fault nor the seller's fault. We have photos of the condition of the package which you will find attached! You will see the shameful state of the parcel. It's up to Vinted to resolve this problem with Chronopost and reimburse me, no?

Vinted Blocked account

I run a vinted account for the animal rescue that I volunteer for. We raise much needed funds to help the animals in our care. On Monday I received a message to say my account had been blocked as I posted an item which violated their catalogue rules. I item was a cat flea treatment, I looked on Sunday to see if other people posted any there was many members who was selling flea treatment. I have contacted Vinted several times. They have looked into the matter and we are no longer permitted to trade on Vinted. Every message I get back is automatic, its no a real person. Can I do anything else? I feel this is unfair as there was no warning just a ban.

Vinted Not dealing with the problem between myself and recipient

I sold a set of Collectors dolls house furniture to a lady, however, when it arrived some pieces were broken, she reported this to you. I obviously contacted her to see if we could resolve the issue and she supplied myself and also vinted, photographs of said breakages and evidence of the cardboard box and packing.

It was obvious that the package had been completely mishandled by Yodel.

You asked me for my response and I sent you details stating that Yodel had mishandled this package and were responsible for the breakages.

You replied that you did not have enough proof that my item complied with the description before shipping? so you were going to request a return? There were clear pictures of the items which did NOT need a description they spoke for themselves in the pictures. The lady was completely happy with the items, apart from the breakages. I replied stating the above fact so therefore how can they not comply. You replied stating that there was not enough protection for these items the requirements are: Cardboard box (bubble protection inside) The pictures supplied to you clearly showed a Cardboard box and protection? I replied it was in a cardboard box with bubblewrap and also FRAGILE written all over the box.

You should have taken this matter up with Yodel but you obviously could not be bothered. Just terrible customer service you never addressed the issue whatsoever just sent rubbish replies that had no bearing on the actual evidence and PROOF supplied. You never discussed the issue with the buyer I had to tell her that you wanted her to send them back to me, she is also disgusted with your customer service

Vinted Not reviving what I bought

I bought a woollen hat NorthFace on Vinted, I received a woollen hat that was a different make, I informed the seller and she said to maybe keep this hate and she would maybe give me a better price if I bought off her again, I told the lady I didn’t want this hat I wanted the NorthFace one I ordered and this one is no good to me, she then said what can I do to help, I said I would like to return this item, she has ignored me and is obviously not wanting to return my money I paid for a hat I never received.

Desired outcome: Return this unwanted hat and be reimbursed my money I paid which was over £15.

Vinted Refund

I received a dress which was not the advertised size.

I raised an issue with Vinted and sent images, showing the dress against two dresses of the save style I already have (in different colours), to clearly demonstrate the issue with sizing. I also sent images of the labels.

I received Vinteds generic/auto response, but as I had already fulfilled the criteria within the photos previously sent, I left the issue for review. Two days later I received an auto message from Vinted, advising my money had been released to the seller, because I hadn’t replied. Even though I had already sent the information required, and this was evident in the chat history.

Vinted then continued to try to close my chat, ignoring my repeated requests to escalate the issue and process a refund.

Claimed loss: £24, £1.50 Vinted fee + £3 postage

Vinted Blocked vinted account

I tried to open an account. When to download the app, from app store it was downloaded with US zip code already installed in the app, but I selected UK version. I asked for help on Vinted, they said it is not possible to change the address, and I will need to delete account and open another one. That I done, I used another email, because previous wasn't possible to use anymore. I was able to open a normal account with UK address just on the Web site. And they blocked me, for multiple accounts. To delete and open another account was their solution for my issue. Adlnd they blocked me, just because I used their solution. I am very frustrated. I make a complain in the app. And they will get back with a response in 5 days, yes 5 days. And I can't be sure the response will be positive.

Vinted Damaged not as described good

I purchased a bracelet that was advertised as new and in perfect condition. This arrived it was well worn and the silver had worn of exposing the metal below. I contact Vinted and seller to get a return. But Vinted said I had to pay for return shipping, even though this item was damaged and not my fault. The seller blocked me and has not picked up the item from the inpost box. So again I’m still waiting a refund and after I tried to complain regarding me having to pay for return postage and asked Vinted to make seller pay as she is totally disrespectful. They are not interested and don’t want to know. The seller could have just said don’t return and I will refund you but she obviously gets her kicks this way, and it seems that Vinted support this sort of deplorable action.

I’m having the same issues with an item that was advertised very good condition but obviously not 3 rips and I took photos Item sent back Still not been picked up Her account has been blocked on the forum But not received my refund So where do I go from here

Vinted Vinted

I bought a t-shirt on Vinted which didn't fit me. I relisted it the following day only to be blocked and told that the item was fake. They terminated my account and said I had violated their rules.

Clearly they violated their own rules by letting someone else sell the item on Vinted. Why wasn't the original seller vetted like me and blocked from selling the item?

I now have a t-shirt which is fake and doesn't fit me. It has cost me my money and I am now blocked from Vinted. This a complete injustice on my behalf.

Vinted Withdrawal of funds

After selling in Vinted for a couple of years I was randomly asked to verify my identity and asked to send a copy of my driving license which I did. A couple of months later I was unable to withdraw my funds so I contacted Vinted, I was told that I needed to complete a PEP firm out so that they could send it to their payment provider, as I had been identified as a risk?

I completed the form and returned it to vinted, 3 weeks later despite lots of messages from myself I have had no response and am still unable to withdr Funds. The strange thing is they still allowed me to sell whilst with holding the funds from the selling? I wonder if this is actually legal. They tell me the only firm of contact is via the chat on line, but you just get automated responses or continually told to be patient! Found some email addresses on line but again just get automated responses and the. an email saying this issue is resolved, it is not resolved as I still can’t access my funds!

The customer service is very poor and this has caused me great anxiety as it’s made me feel like I have done something wrong . I just want the money i have made from my selling, all of which were items pre owned by myself ir items purchased but unable to return

Please can anyone help
