aldo slippers
I was on holiday in mauritius last week and was in the capital.. The caudan waterfront port louis... Happen to pass an aldo shop and like the slippers... Bought 2 pairs. One brown and one golden.. Brown size 39 and golden size 40.
Well I started wearing the brown one and the brown leather has already started to peel... Felt terrible and its looking really bad... Seems like an old stock keep for a very long time.
shoe colour changed after a week's use
I bought this light brown shoe on 22nd May 2019 and I where it for a week while I was travelling abroad..I noticed that its colour has changed in few areas. On returning after my travel on 8th June 2019, the very next day I took the shoe with all invoice and its box to the store. But the store staff said 14days have already expired and we cannot give you an exchange..
So Aldo product are worth just for week..
Normally in India all the branded store provide 3 month warranty..but here it's only 2 weeks..this raises a question on its genuineness
verbal abuse
The store manager in Aldo Menlo Mall is SUPER rude. I see how she treated one of her employees and it broke my heart. She thought she was being quite about it but when I seen her behavior it completely ruined my Aldo experience. I will never shop there again! Something has to be done about this situation because I have seen and spoken to other customers about her behavior. It is sickening. I have been shopping at Aldo for years but I will drive that extra 10 minutes to go to Woodbridge any day because of their poor choice of a store manager.

My name is Wayne Olinyk, and I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the rude treatment I received by one of your employees who have been the "manager" on the 27/4/2019 at ALDO store in IBN Battuta mall, Dubai, UAE
It occurred approximately at 11 am as I was at the Cashier. The employee working the cashier was wearing the name badge, Portia, ID number 115329, Store no. 61718, transac.no. 2076 but there is this rude "Indian"manager that interfere with our transaction.
After having scanned all of my items, she requested the payment and asked me if I have the club apparel group, I replied yes. She asked me for the application form, I said I only used my mobile no. For those club cards and she said no it's not applicable and she started to make face although to start they transaction she is already grumpy.
And she didn't finish the transaction and went to the back room, so the cashier (black lady with a curly hair) come by and finished our transaction, so I asked her who that lady is, she said that is the "Manager".
I have been a long time customer at your store and was most upset by these events. Thus, this should not happened as I believe that a manager should be the best example for the subordinates employees on how to interact properly with a customer, and delivered a quality customer service on its customers. If this is your standards for a manager, I believe it is a mistake, she should just lock her self on the back room or stock room as she deserves to be there inside because her attitude is not applicable and she doesn't fit in a customer service industry. Pitty on her!
I hope that this letter explains my feelings and disappointment with what has occurred, I would not like this to happen to me or any other customer and hope that corrective measures are taken swiftly.

Hello I went to aldo in cherry hill mall at 9:30am waiting for the store to open to purchase shoes and they did not open on time it was 11:30am and the lifhts were still off, I missed my interview on tour behave, I was very disappointed! I love your store but after this incident I won't be back, your store was the only stire that look like you did not pay your electric bill! Signed pissed
I am complaining about the service
I am buying a bag in aldo accessories when I ask the sales lady to give me a black one she said nothing and when I decided to get a rose colored bag then she said again nothing so I bought the bag and to my surprise the other side of the shop which is aldo also shoes and bags with men accessories I found out she has black bag and even more rose colored bag.
How this sales lady deceived me even she knows theres a chance I will go to the aldo also beside the shop.
This sales lady is a big lier and too much lazy to find the bag and entertain her customer. Gosh, I am buying in this shop frequently and this what I got.
Better change this lazy lady wont do good for the customer just to sit and waste time.
boot sole
I bought boots from you guys, and only worn them 3 times (in normal weather, no rain or puddles) and the sole of my left boot completely came off. Those boots were over $100 and I feel ripped off. I was given the boots that people try on as well. I wasn't given a fresh new pair of boots, which in my opinion is rude. I would like a refund or a new pair of fresh boots
leather handbag
I bought a leather handbag at Aldo in November. But when you look at the bag now. All the corners of the bag the black colour has come off and it is now like a cardboard colour.
I called the store now only to be told they dont sell leather handbags only synthethic leather.
Yet when we bought the bag, and asked whether it was leather we were told yes. If I knew it was not. I would never have purchased such an expensive bag. I might as well have bought one on the flea market.
I cannot believe that ALDO of all people and for those prices that it is not leather.

I would like to start by saying that I am a huge ALDO fan, 90% of my shoes are from ALDO. In December I bought a bag online from the ALDO website and yesterday was the very first time I used the bag and must add that I am highly disappointed with the quality of this product.
I noticed that the L was missing from the word ALDO. When I took a closer look at the bag I realised that the rest of the words were also coming out, they look like they were stuck with a cheap glue. The stitches on the bag are hideous, even a first year fashion and textile design student can do a much neater job. I am highly disappointed and would like to know what can I do about this?

worst quality brand.
I have purchase 2 pairs of Aldo shoes just 15 days ago. 2 pairs for 600 Qatari Rials. And the result is really unexpected. The upper body started removing like rexin. Really a worst brand of shoes i've ever used in my life. I have pictures and bill with me. Please try to change my shoes or return my money, i am never gonna use this brand in my life. I use to be a employee there a little over a year ago ( manager to be exact) and I go to Aldo frequently to buy shoes and bags. I went In there today to exchange a pair of shoes. The store manager looked at the shoes and kinda tossed the box like what do u want me to do with these if u don't have a reciept. This is the same person that offers me to use her discount every single time i come Into the store. However there was a few people behind me and i said ok just give me a credit To not hold the line up. She said she didn't have merch credit cards. Also seems to buy cheap shoes and sell them at a very high price. Just after wearing it for 5 or 6 days the sole started to get detach. All they offered me was 20 percent off on next purchase. unethical behaviour (rude and obnoxious staff)
I bought 3 chain extensions set from 466 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, 11201 Location (store number 2524).My receipt no is 572565 and the ID of the cashier i dealt with was [protected]. The associate name is Gina([protected]).
First of all, i was waiting to pay for my item for 5 minutes while 2 of the staffs standing next to the available cash register talking about their lunch and weekend plans. I asked one of them to check the price for my item, She did, when i wanted to pay she said the other cashier will take me while she returned and start wandering around the store talking to the other cashier. she could have complete my purchase since she was in a free register but she didn't. when the only working cashier became free, she walked away totally avoiding me, when i asked her she came back and took my item and throw on the other side of the table. i told her that i was actually trying to pay for that. She start by saying the other cashier "people are so dry today, i cant deal anymore". she billed me the original price, i said they have 50% off, she said "Nope, this dont have 50% of, at most 30% (she has no clue about it, since an entire rack full of accessories are on 50% off sale)", when i told her that the other cashier already confirmed me the price, she asked the other lady and when she knew i was right she told the other staff " I can't deal with her, u take it" she moved away from the register while i was standing there to pay. i continue my purchase with the other staff while she stood there and talk about how people are rude. at this point i was so furious i decided not to take matter in my hand and jus leave.
I have the picture of the cashier and if this complain doesn't resolve anything i will submit an official complaint to BBB with all the info.

I bought a red aldo bag when I was in dbn on holiday. I wore it 4 times as its a dress up bag. I discovered in the corner of the bag it has a big hole. The bag is practically brand new and hardly worn. It's disappointing I pd 900 that's not cheap. And I have a black also bag I bought and it's sagging badly I paid 799 for it. Store manager rude and speaks inappropriately to customers. District manager requested by customer service to respond to inquiries and complaints but failed to respond or have the courtesy to reply. Poor service stems from the top down.
I purchased shoes and explained at the time I may not keep them due to them being large on one foot but would try them at home with an insert. They were dusty on the bottom ( clearance ) shoes. I advised I didn't want to have an issue when /if returning. I also verified the return policy. A week later I went into return the shoes the store manager approached me at the register speaking very loudly and yelling what happened what happened why are you returning them and then proceeded to mumble under her breath to the cashier she probably wore the shoes . When I stayed it that they weren't an asked to repeat what she said she proceeded to argue with me. Highly unprofessional behavior and clearly a loud by the lack of response of the district manager .

Hello. I'm a aldo customer. That lives in the Harlem area in New York. I went in the store to find a store and I was told that they not getting the shoe because of the area. You feel that shoe is not going to sale. Now I'm not understanding why is that. It shouldn't matter where the location is. I feel that this is discrimination in the the urban area and we should be equal to any location. I'm going to continue to do my best to get a charge with that. It's a shame that I have to go out of my area to spend my money on your product and you have a store in my neighborhood. That's a shame and you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I am writing to make a complaint regarding the above item which I ordered on the 27th October at your Brent Branch and requested for it to be delivered at Oxford Circus.
I received an emails from Aldo on 29th stating my order has been shipped and on 1st November I received notification that the order was ready to be picked up. I also received tracking confirmation by Royal Mail advising that my order had been delivered on the said date.
On Tuesday 6th November I went to Oxford Circus to collect my order. I waited 20 minutes whilst the sales advisor disappeared around the back to look for it and had been stood by the counter looking at the accessories to ensure that she could see me when she returned.
After the 20 minutes, wondering what was going on and then being ignored at the counter by two members of staff. I looked around on the shop floor and to my disappointment saw the young lady who I had been waiting for - serving someone else. I had to then wait until she served two other customers before I could gain her attention. She did not acknowledge the fact that I had been waiting all this time.
She advised me again to wait whilst she disappeared around the back. I waited another 7 minutes before she returned, to be told that my order had not arrived.
I asked how that was possible given the tracking/collection confirmation I received on 1st and today being the 6th (as in it is now 6 days later how has it not yet arrived?). Her response was I quote, ‘sometimes they send emails that things have been delivered and they haven't... it always happens'. I asked could she call up customer service, she said she was unable to do that and that was my responsibility.
Please note that I left work early that day. This has seriously inconvenience me as in the fact that I will have to go there for a second time but mainly, I had purchased it as a present for a someone's birthday which embarrassingly I was on my way to that day.
1. Please could you kindly inform me of the status of my order.
2. Please could you physically check with the store directly as opposed to simply using my tracking details.
3. Please could you kindly compensate me for the stress and inconvenience due to your staffs lack of customer care, unnecessary travel expenses and embarrassment faced in not being able to provide a gift for a birthday dinner that day.
