Americas Best Value Inn stolen property

On 3/30/19 between approximately 2:30pm and 3:45pm, I requested new blankets an toilet paper from a house keeper. She said it would be handled
A middle aged S. American woman who wears glasses showed up with the supplies. As a show of good will an trust I left the room leaving her by herself in my rented room to empty one of the full garbage cans myself. There was no plastic bags in any garbage cans. Upon my return within about 20 seconds she had vanished. She just left the towels in a stack on the bathroom sink. She didn't bother to even put a bag into the empty trash can. It shouldnt be nessacary to ask for every little thing. She was in a hurry. Looking back I know why. She wanted an opportunity to steal something before I returned. About 20 minutes after she left I saw my bag of marijuana medicated gummies on the floor on its side. I picked it up an it felt empty but turns out there was only one gummy left. I never leave one of anything as goes the same for many others too. I had at least about 10-15. She dumped a handful in her hand and jammed outta there and this is after I help her with her job. I told the front desk monstrosity about what hapoened and of course being from the same culture she does but stand up for the older woman claiming she's known her for 20 years and she has never done anything like what I said. I told her she was in my room alone. She relays that to the housekeeper who was in my room and she completely denies ever being in there. Than I knew for certain she took them. Only a guilty person would lie about something as petty as being in my room. I ask for the video footage to be analyzed. The supervisors at the front desk told me that day and the following the footage had been reviewed and she was not there. This thief housemaid needs to be held accountable for her actions. I made an audio recording of the young ladies just making up lies as they went business as usual. I will contact everyone under the sun until this issue is addressed. It's not about the money, it's about how that awful back stabber ripped me off while I helped her throw a full load of garbage away. She didnt throw the other garbage out either. Americas Best Value Inn nasty room

My husband and I stayed at the America best value inn and suites in milledgeville Georgia last night April 5th 2019 and the bathroom tub, toilet, floor and sink were nasty. We checked in around 7pm went to our room 212 and went straight in and put our clothes on bed then left to go meet up with my dad. We returned around midnight to take a bath and get ready for bed. We went into the bathroom and the shower, tub, toilet, bathroom floor and sink were nasty with hair and dirt. Also the tub drain had no way to plug the tub to even take a bath. I called the front desk to see if we could get someone to clean it or at least get something to clean it with and the man told me that he couldn't do anything about it til morning. I asked him how did he expect us to take a bath or shower with it being dirty and he told me " I dont know what to tell you, you should have inspected the room when you first checked in". Well for one I shouldn't have to inspect the room, it should be clean and two I had somewhere to be. A hotel room should be clean and shouldn't have to be "inspected " . We were and are very disappointed and angry with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. I highly recommend no one to stay at this hotel and I want my money back. I paid $65 to stay for one night and was hoping to get a good night sleep but that certainly didn't happen. After the looks of the bathroom we didn't even want to sleep on the bed. We didn't even use their blankets. We ended up going to buy a blanket to lay on top off theirs on the bed because we weren't sure if the bed was even clean. Americas Best Value Inn Hotel stay

I booked this stay on march 29th, 2019 through booking.com. I confirmed the reservation by phone and the desk person said I was in and no problem. I explained I was tired and needed to check in right away. When I arrived the clerk said that booking.com had given them incorrect credit card info and I had to call them to straighten it out. I should call.. That is not my responsibility. This took over a half an hour and then I asked if I was going to get sleep in this place and he said yes. He put me in the back building as a woman checking in alone near Atlanta. I had been guaranteed a smoke free room and the room smelled like smoke. The carpet was disgusting and had no water pressure in the shower. The bed had a sheet and bed spread. There was no blanket in the room. I was then awakened to a loud screaming fight that went on and on and I called the front desk and the desk clerk kept talking instead of listenng to me. He did go to the room to yell at these people which was 2:45am. I then decided to leave as I was completely furious. The desk clerk wanted to chat about it and I asked for my receipt and he said "oh you do not need it." I said yes I do and then he printed it out. I would appreciate a refund for this horrible experience.

Americas Best Value Inn room

The room was not as described / we had a non refundable room and it was filthy and did not have the soaker tub as the description stated. We had to change rooms because it reaked of cigarettes so bad my husband had an asthmatic attack. I would have left but had prepaid. The codes for my reservation is

Americas Best Value Inn front desk

She was the rudest person I have ever met in my life. I had a complaint about my room. ( toliet not working, room was not clean and room smelled of smoke so bad my son had an asthma attack. Yes non smoking room). When I demanded another room she told me to bad and to leave the lobby. I then demanded my money back she told me no then went on to scream at me and told me to leave or she would call the cops. Which she did. After speaking to the officer about my complaint he told me I didn't have to leave but I choose to pack up my family and leave anyway. Worst part of my vacation.

I stay into that room 117 last week and my sister stayed in that room 115 and the girl named susie she gets up at 630 and makes alot of noise and get into my bag takes alot of my imprtant stuff my watch is missin my money is missing my ring is missing I talked to the front desk and they said they will talk to the boss but never did and that girl susie lives.in the hotel room 215

Americas Best Value Inn refund

I have sent this to the hotel manager 4-5 times with no response! Very disappointed

I am contacting you in regards to the 8 rooms we had at your hotel for the Buddy Holly surf ballroom event! The fact that I am contacting you weeks later is because your staff said you were out of the country til the 25th, gave a few days for you to get caught up!

First is that we were quoted a price of $104 but we were charged over $10 more a night, remember that is 8 rooms we got charged that amount extra each night! I expect to be charged the original amount we were quoted so that is $30 refund to each of our rooms.

Second, we were supposed to have all non smoking rooms, and 3 of us ended up with smoking rooms! Not happy as we went to store and got spray(fabreeze) and cleaning products to make the rooms smell better! Which still didn't help much and 1 of the smoking rooms had cig ashes in the sink and another of the smoking rooms still had food in the fridge. Staff was rude when approached about cleaning it up.

Third and mostly important is that the last day was the only day we got hot water to shower! So after the first night we all got up the next morning cuz we were meeting at a certain time to leave for event we were attending. A few of us called the front desk and they explained that no one else had complained and told us to wait so we did and over an hour still no hot water. Called front desk again, and she told me that the person under my room was having the same problem- I explained that my room and the one under me are not ran on the same hot water it's your whole building. I understand that you probably are thinking "well too many people can't shower at the same time and all get hot water" hmmm- I can say this, I stay in hotels quite a bit of times for special events and this is the only time I have not had hot water and these hotels are bigger compacity than yours. Long story but most of us didn't get a shower that day. So now comes to the next morning and again no hot water... not happy! Called front desk and told to wait again, that they were calling someone- waiting about an hour again and I had to take a shower cold, awful just awful! Now I can tell you when we did get home that second night at 12:30 am, there was hot water but not the point... next morning day of checkout is when I finally got a hot shower. So disappointing

I am asking for each one of our rooms be discounted one night stay (roughly $143 with tax) and to let you know your staff doesn't know how to handle the situations they were put in. Customer service wins the race

Americas Best Value Inn customer service

We found a dirty needle in our room while staying at this motel, I had 2 children with me. Actually my 12 year old son found it, I immediatley picked it up with a tissue walked up to the front desk told the guy working I needes to speak to him that we had an issue, pulled him outside away from the other customers so they wouldnt hear, showed him the needle, he just rolled his eyes, grabbed the needle out of the tissue, I said dont touch it, he said im not worried about it. He said im sorry. And then asked were we staying again the next night I said no, and he said well I could have given you a free night if so but there is nothing I can do if not. I said no I would like a refund for tonight he said I can't do that. I said I want to speak to the manager he said he was the manager (I dont believe he was) I said then somebody over you he said nope there is no one. I said there is and I would like to speak to them he said sorry there is no one. I said ok I will find someone over you, a home office or something or I will post reviews online about this experience. Well I go back to my room my family and I pack all our stuff get it loaded in our vehicle and as we are walking out to leave the room the employee walks over to our room with the police apparently he called the police and said I got aggressive with him (I never did! Never raised my voice or anything) but told the police he wanted us to leave. I said thats no problem we were leaving anyways! Here is the best part one of the cops asked me where the needle is now, I pointed to the employee and said he took it from me and threw it in the trash can by the office, the employee shook his head and said I didnt take it from you! I said are you serious! Well my son who was with me when the employee took the needle from me walked back over to where I was talking to the cops I asked my son I said where is the needle now, he said in that trash over there and pointed to the trash can by the office. I said who put it there and my son pointed to the employee and said he did. Well the employee had nothing to say at that point, until he was asked were there cameras over there, he said uhhh no, not there, thats a blind zone. Of course it is! Either way, we left, found a much better motel for almost $15 cheaper with no dirty needles! However, I am not just out the $95 that I was charged at americas best value inn! I am just completely shocked out how that employee handles it! He didn't want a scene caused but ywrehe caused one when he called the police because of course every one staying in the rooms around us came outside to see what was going on so then heard about the dirty needle.
I would never recommend anyone to ever stay this motel! They seriously need to learn how to treat their guests! Oh and not to mention check in time is 3, we arrived after 4 checked in drove down to our room the door was already open and some guy was coming in and out still "cleaning" it! I mean how does this place get any business at all! It really sucks for people like us who are 3 hours away from home booked the motel online because I thought it looked ok, boy was I wrong!

Americas Best Value Inn broken toilet, garbage on floor, unclean room

My family came to Omaha, NE for a funeral. We arrived on Friday March 9th and stayed in your hotel until Sunday March 10th. We were in room 505. I have to say I have never stayed at a hotel that was so dirty and disgusting. The elevator continuously had garbage on the floor, our room was NOT clean apparently the guests before us left popcorn all over the floor. Our toilet seat was broken my brother fixed that for you and there was a huge hole on the inside of the bathroom floor, the hot tub didn't work. Now if these were my only complaints, I wouldn't be emailing you. Your elevator and our whole floor smelled very STONGLY of Marijuana! It was so bad the whole time we had our window open in our room with a towel up against the door. At one point the hallways smelled so badly we opened the window down the hallway. Other guests complained. I went down and spoke with your receptionist several times about the pot smell, I got nowhere. I don't know if this is how your run your motel, but my family and I are extremely disgusted, and I would like a explanation from you!We traveled over 10 hours and 3 states to attend a funeral and all we wanted was a good nights sleep and we couldn't even do that! We called down for some conditioner so we could shower, no conditioner. Than we asked for a couple of extra pillows. That was another NO. We had to go to the store and purchase pillows so we could rest.

Americas Best Value Inn room #519 & room service

Hello my name is Curtis Pritchard, my girlfriend and I were given a room (519) and there was no hea, the air conditioners didn't work there was mold in the shower the plumber outlets we're pushed in they didn't work our TV went out. Also, there was blood on our sheets dried upthe whole room was nasty and my step children ages 8months and 2 years of age were also there and I feel like the service was bad our door knob was broken off when we first rented the room the environment isn't safe for children especially babies. They wouldn't give me my money back either the room was 250$ for a week and they only offered me 55$ back.

I am writing to you today to voice my complaint during my recent stay at your hotel. My husband reserved the room on Sunday night and we checked out Monday Morning.
There were no regular size towels, we only had 2 hand towels. I am baffled that a hotel would not provide regular size towels and expect their guests to dry with hand towels.
Housekeeping entered his room at 8:30am, he had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, and they still opened his room. It is not okay to assume a person is not in there, specially when there is a sign on the door.
Housekeeping was yelling in the hallways having a yelling conversation about their cleaning duties among each other (very inconsiderate).
Housekeeping knocked again before the required checkout, this is unacceptable as we have the right to exit before the checkout time and not be pressured and rushed out.
We did not receive anything close to a good stay. I am taking the first step to reach out to you resolve this matter.
My disappointment is very big, We rented this room to enjoy the luxury of sleeping, not to have my husband rudely be interrupted on various occasions. I am very displeased with our purchase of this stay. I am politely asking for a reimbursement, or a credit.

Americas Best Value Inn stonington, ct

Hello, I am writing to request a refund for a stay that my husband booked on 2/16. He didn't realize when he booked it that this was the same hotel we had stayed at previously where there was no heat, no water and when looking out our window we could see about 30 mattresses piled in the back yard. We had stayed there about a year ago. At that time, when we realized we had no heat or water, we requested a refund and you honored that request. Now my husband booked this same property by mistake and when we were on our way there, I realized what he had done. We requested through Expedia to get a refund and were denied by the hotel management on site. I could not stay there again. I read reviews that said all the mattresses were from a bed bug infestation. We ended up spending money on a different hotel and I am asking that you honor my request for a refund. This place should be shut down and all the reviews on line will tell you it hasn't changed since our experience 1 year ago. I am asking you to please honor my request as this was a mistake and I would never stay there again. It is filthy and should not be open to the public. I have notified Expedia that they should not allow bookings at this hotel as it is not safe to stay there.

Americas Best Value Inn checked in to room opened refrigerator and there was left over pizza from previous guest makes me wonder what else is not clean

I spoke with manager and showed him a picture and told him he needs to speak with house keeping he told me that is not my decision and his only concern was to take care of me and informed me he would give a refund and I can go somewhere else and he is very rude and I will be posting pics of if I don't here from somebody from corporate office I do not usually complain but how hard is it to clean fridge

Americas Best Value Inn i'm being threatened from employees at motel front desk

I have been staying at this property for 2 weeks without issue. I went to open my room door the card key wouldnt work. I told the lady at the front desk and was told the maintenance would look into it and it'll be working upon my return from work. When I came back it worked normally. 4 days later same issue with the door not opening.. There were no hanging parts or anything that would indicate the door was broken in any way. I once again gave my card key to the lady at the front desk. She assured me i'd have a new key once I came back.
When I arrived I went to the same lady at the front desk and she told me I will have to pay for the door lock because I broke it. That is a complete lie and offends me. I'm a quiet older guest who doesn't have any reason to physically break a door handle. I'm not sure where she gets her information from but she told me the inside of the lock was broken but she had forgotten the same lock was broken days prior. It is very unprofessional to blame a guest for something without proof. I have had zero issues up to this point. $20 deposit no big deal... Cable tv has been flickering off and on since I arrived here and only gets 7 channels (not one movie channel) i've been forced to watch "jurassic park" on amc for the 11th time this week... But I didnt complain. Now I refuse to be blamed for an action I would never commit nor would it make sense to break my own room door. I am here temporarily waiting for my townhouse to be completed and chose this location. I've stayed at 2 of your properties that treated me great and one was the drug infested whippany location... They at least had working cable channels.
Can a representative please contact me with further knowledge of this.. I'd rather not make this a larger matter but legally they are in the wrong and i'm fully capable of proving it.

Americas Best Value Inn harassing, sexually harassed, picked on, and bullied

Manager Mr Otis hooker is sexually harassed me and keep on harassing me. Since December 18 2018. He lies on me and others. He tries to talk to all the housekeepers. And guests. he told another worker. That he will have me clean room just to fired me. I don't get paid any money. And I work 6 day a week. I get treated like I'm nothing and like I don't do nothing. He give out any price he want to, to any guess that will let him have intercourse with. He drinks liquor on the job. And steal from his boss.

Americas Best Value Inn my boyfriend and I were both charged for staying in the same room.

I made a reservation with my card for a room online, my boyfriend arrived before I did and he used his card for my reservation. I was looking at my bank account and noticed that I had been charged as well. When I went to the office to ask them why they said that my boyfriend did not use my reservation and thats why my card was charged, I informed them that he already paid and they charged both of us for staying in the same room and I asked for a refund and the front desk clerk said no. This is ridiculous and he did not want to hear anything I was trying to explain to him, I need my $79 dollars refunded back to me because the room was already pain for. That is almost $160 dollars we paid to stay in the same room together.

Americas Best Value Inn bed bug

My family and I went to stay at americas best inn and suites because our water froze, and with a 10 month old baby, you can't go without water. Anyway we get there and within an hour of being there I was bit, but no one else was complaining so I thought maybe it was just me, the next morning I am covered in bites as is both my sons and my daughter, along with my husband. I tell the manager to which they moved us to a new room. The new room did not have a glass door just a shower curtian where the glass do should have been and it still had the metal piece on the bottom to which made it very difficult to give the baby a shower. Thinking we were all good I still continue to get bit. They didn't offer anything to aid the itching and rolled their eyes about wanting my laundry to be done before going to the next room. The stay has been aweful. I will never go there agian...I have pictures of how bad my bits are and I have to pay to stay there...[censored] if you ask me

Americas Best Value Inn Hotel room and front desk

Yes I got a hotel room in Tyler Texas and when I enter the room the room was dirty I found a used condom underneath my main comforter the copy machine was broken and did not work no matter what plug do I plug it into the TV was busted on the input and I can only change it to two channels and I also didn't take my USB drive yeah the room was basically just kind of a complete mess and I wasn't very happy about it I'm from out of state and I want this taken care of

Americas Best Value Inn bed bug bites in room

We are a construction company and use your inns, but during a stay in Ukiah our workers were severely bitten by bugs which I assume were bed bugs since they could not see any bugs. This was booked by my boss through Expedia, Azur Crno for 1/16-1/18/19 and 1/23-1/25/19. I have talked with the manager of that inn and she is refunding our money. But that is not what I am truly talking about. This issue should be addressed by someone who will make sure no one else gets this problem. She said they were calling the pest control company they use, but I want to report this to the health department unless you can guarantee your corporation will address this problem.

Americas Best Value Inn jacuzzi room

I work 16 hour shifts so to relax my husband and I rented a jacuzzi room for a romantic relaxing night. We filled the tub as soon as we turned on the jets brown stuff came flying out of the jets and into our tub. We called the front desk. Your employee came over and could not figure out what it was. He discounted our room and left us extra towels to clean the tub ourselves. We did hoping there was just some debri that got stuck. Nope. We filled and drained the tub 3 times and each time this brown stuff came from the jets. It ruined our stay as we were there for the relaxation of the tub. I work for ingham county and have for 13 years. Refunding me 22.00 for a night ruined by mechanical isssues is not sufficiently fixing my problem. The relaxation part of our stay which is the only reason we came was not achieved. Later in the night I dropped my phone behind the nightstand I found toenail clippings a ring and a cell phone case. The base board was filthy (I wiped it off myself) and the room was subpar and kept very unclean. I want my entire room cost refunded or a free night in a tub that is actually functional. I have never stayed in such an awful place.
