America's SPA-MART Hot Tub Cover

I placed an order for a hot tub cover on 12-28-22. I waited 12 weeks before inquiring about my order. The company does not answer their phone no matter how many times you call, or how many days you try. On the day my cover was supposed to ship the owner called me acting like an unhinged maniac. I had to file a dispute with my bank and pay to get a stop payment filed with the company. Never deal with this company, I honestly feel like the owner is a legitimate insane individual who needs help.

Desired outcome: Apology from the owner. I would never expect this company to send anything to its consumers.

America's SPA-MART Spa Cover

On March 16 I order a new spa cover from Spa-Mart, I provided my credit card for the invoice, I was charged an additional $99.00 for shipping. I agreed to the charge and confirmed my order. On March 29 I got an email saying there would be an additional charge of $71.31 for shipping. That would make the shipping charge $170.31. I cancelled the order and told the company it's bad business to quote one price and two weeks later increase it.

America's SPA-MART Cover lifter

I purchased a new cover lifter two weeks ago. I received my receipt via email immediately. Since that day I have not been contacted on the status of my order. I have no idea if it's in production, if it's been shipped, when I will get it... Nothing.

I called three times, on automated hold. Each time it was over 10 min and each time the recording said I was "first on line".

I left three detailed messages asking for a call back, including my name, telephone number and order number and have yet to receive a call back.

I even had pay pal ask for a response and there was no response. I think it is a sham company. They said it was in stock before I ordered then 2 week later said it was back ordered. Got a refund thru pay pal. Never ever heard a word from this company. Run from them. If they are a company I would be very surprised.

I would have appreciated a call back. All my info. was on the voice mail... Three times.

What a waste of my time. Bought from a reputable company after receiving a refund from pay pal.

Desired outcome: Have them shut down so other people are not put out by their un-rofessional business attitude.

America's SPA-MART Covermate 1 spa cover lifter for Master Spas

Purchased Covermate 1 Spa Cover Lifter and paid extra for one that is made for Master Spas. The lifter did not look anything like the one on advertisement and it did not work with Master Spa swim spas. I tried to call Leisure Concepts but they do not provide technical support. The directs provided are a joke and they do not provide installation videos. I called Spa-Mart but they also did not have technical support. I hired a local Master Spa maintenance man who tried to install and told me it will not work. We ended up buying a Leisure Products Cover Ex Cover Valet that worked. It actually looked like the picture on the box. Bottom line Spa-mart sold me a product that does not work and refused to stand behind product. I was told I could return but I had to pay for shipping and "re-packaging" fees. I returned product (Paid $73.55 US Mail) on 6/14/21 but have not received refund.

America's SPA-MART Hot Tub Cover

This is the worst hot tub cover ever made. I ordered a light blue cover for my Jacuzzi 1 year ago, January 2020, and it has turned almost black in less than a year. I contacted Spa-Mart and they suggested I pay to ship it back to them to for them to inspect which is absolutely unacceptable. My Jacuzzi doesn't have trees or anything over it to cause this discoloration, but that was what the company blamed it on. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Their customer service is just as bad as their covers. DO NOT BUY A HOT TUB COVER FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE TERRIBLE!

America's SPA-MART spa cover

Ordered a cover from this company on 9/22/18, at the time I was informed delivery would be 6-10 weeks as they were a custom facility.
On October 29th they told me 3-4 weeks.
On November 25 after I emailed them again I was told it was shipping on Thursday December 6th. On Friday December 7th I email again asking if it did in fact ship and could I have a shipping number, No Response
I emailed through Paypal on Monday Dec 3rd again asking for a shipping number or confirmation that my cover shipped, again No Response. I wrote through the company web site on Wednesday December 5th again if my cover shipped again No Response.
After waiting now 12 weeks I really would like my cover that I paid $457.00 for.
I guess my next step is to elevate to a formal dispute with Paypal.
All I want is what I paid for 12 weeks ago

America's SPA-MART customer service... or should I say... lack of customer service

America's SPA-MART Spa cover

I have bought two previous spa covers from Sonshine Spa Company and ordered a third recently. I was told Spa-mart was still the Sonshine "sister" brand. This has turned into a very disappointing experience. At first I sent them a the diagram I had used before, which worked perfectly. The cover that arrived was hinged in the wrong direction. They said they could not find the diagram and hence did not take any responsibility for their error, but took the cover back (my expense in shipping) and said they would send a correct one at their cost. Before agreeing to this I asked if there was anything further I needed to do to insure this one would be correct. I was told "no problem" that it would be perfect. When it arrived the straps are in the wrong place, and when I sent them a picture and description of the problem, then said "but they are on the right side, we did out part". I am now disputing that charge with my bank. This sounds very similar to other complaints I have now discovered too late.

America's SPA-MART Poor product and customer service

I purchased a hot tub cover from Spa-Mart.com last November 2009. The cover arrived with the tie-down straps on the wrong side. I called the company, and spoke with a female that I supposed considers herself to be the Customer Support person. She asked for pictures, which I ended up sending three times.

When I initially inquired about covers, she was quick to return my emails. When I sent the pictures as requested, she never acknowledged.

This company's customer support methodology is to ignore, and hope you'll go away. Apparently it must work, because I have come to the conclusion that I'm wasting my time trying to obtain any repair for the product. I will have a local upholstery shop correct their mistake.

If you are looking for a hot tub replacement, DON'T buy from Spa-Mart. Aside from their poor customer support, and lack of understanding their own website diagrams for strap locations, the quality was medium at best.

I too now have a problem this this Made In America. One of my tie down straps was never properly fastened to the main cover and came undone. Spa Mart clams it was due to wind damage, bull if the wind had pulled the strap out there would have been either the trap ripped or it would have pulled out of the cover causing a tear. It did not. the edge of the strap is clean no tears. there is stitching breakage on the flaps only not the main structure. I sent photo showing this and they will not admit to manufacturing failure. We went back and forth several times and I was switch to a Jason. no help. they keep blaming it on the wind. If it was the wind the strap would have been ripped out causing a large tear.
The said that they would fix it if I pull the guts out and send back the cover, I would have to pay for shipping which would be big $$$ and cover my Hot tub with a tarp. they will not tell me what the turn around time is.
Do not purchase from them Not happy at all.

When this complaint showed up on another complaints website a couple of weeks ago, we responded inviting the customer to contact us to discuss this issue. We were never contacted. Now, an identical word-for-word complaint shows up here under a different name. Our offer still stands for the customer to contact us about their issue. I have a feeling we won't be hearing from them.
