AutoZone autozone ios app

The auto zone IOS app is nice looking however is in critical need of an update and could use some bug fixes as often I see that the scrolling limit is set too high for whatever item I'm looking at and I am not able to read the description. It just needs to be further examined and be more intuitive and for lack of a better word more modern. If this is achieved you will have successfully created the amazon of auto parts therefore making your app more recommendable and start attracting customers at a much higher rate which is more than I can say for any other auto parts store currently out there.

AutoZone duralast battery for 2005 honda odyssey

Really bad experience. After 2months of buying $135 Duralast battery, it went bad and when I visited the shop after jump start, they checked with the instrument that said Battery needs recharge . I was asked to visit another branch of Autozone as their instrument that checks Alternator is not working (I should have realized their intention of avoiding). Then I visited the other branch to check it and it was still the fault with the battery. When I returned to the same Autozone branch for a replacement or recharge, I was told to check the leaks in the car as the battery is still good. I requested them the recharge the battery so that I can do the check later. So with arrogance, he told me to remove the battery off of the car and he can only help by giving the tool box, as he said they just have 2 peoples and cannot help me, even though all returned to the shop, when he gave me the tool box and the shop was without a single Customer. When I gave the Battery, it had bubbles coming from the cap, when I asked them if this is normal? one of the staff said politely, that it is common, the other one said all battery does that in a raised voice!. After I gave them the battery for recharge and returned home, I realized the worthlessness of the recharge, I called them to ask for an upgrade and they agreed. When I returned for upgrade, I was told the battery that was given for recharge was bad. Not even a single word till then!. The agony was not over yet. When I asked what's with the instrument that tested the battery that said the battery is good. He realized it and started testing it again and said the battery is good so he will start charging again! 😤. damn, my big mouth!.I said please upgrade to a better battery, total ~$200. No not all done yet. Again no guys to fit the battery, I had to dirty my hands again, but this time difference is, when I started fitting it, the staff came out to share my tools to fit battery to others car (i realized they fit the battery for the very first time only and they are using my weakness of not going away without the battery)!
I am not sure when will I have to get the towing guy again, but request to any smart ones out there who reads reviews before buying anything is avoid the Autozone and definitely not the battery. There very good battery like Duracell, Interstate, Bosch, forget this one else you will have to repent like me.
To Autozone
Request you to train the staff to be customer friendly without bias, when to turn down customers and when not to, proper working instruments and basic needed trainings.

The manager, Martin, was a complete jerk. Didn't even bother looking up the part, just automatically said they didn't sell it. He had an attitude the entire time, yelling. Rushing the other employees for no reason. It was like they only had time to look up one thing and if they took too long, they'd get in trouble or something. This guy is a [censored] and...

AutoZone night manager

I had purchased a 45 peice toolkit from the Lynwood AutoZone I believe on 168th in Lynwood Washington and later in the day I had went to the auto zone on Broadway and when I went threw the door the buzzer went off and rite away the guy started screaming and yelling at me called me trash and all j said was can you please look it up under my number or call the Lynwood store and he would not and ultimately I left and he called the police on me and got me pulled over and he had said I flipped him off and stole from there and if I wouldn't have been able to get ahold of the Lynwood store with the officer standing there I would have went to jail for a assault charge and a theft charge and neither of which did i do thankfully I was able to get ahold of them and they verified I bought and paid for it in Lynwood. I believe I should be compensated for the discrimination and embarrassment of the whole deal considering I had my son with me and my new girlfriend. Please contact me about this

AutoZone employee rights of conduct

I was in autozone when I had a employee check my car for the engine size to make sure I recieved the right part as the employee and I walked in a man was walking out we all 3 passed through the doors at what to seem to me the same time with the employee in front of me reentering and the man walking out in timing between myself and the employee on the opposite side. A moment later the alarm had went off for loss prevention... The man already almost in his car stopped by a male employee that was helping me went and asked the man if he had any property he took from the store, the accused man said no, stupid there and tools the employee no he was just comparing something and closed his door to continue talking to employee where then the employee left the store and went to open the man's car door, when he then reached for handle to open and the man stepped in front of him and said he would open the door, when the employee was denied to look in vehicle the man said no, where then a female manager said you need to come back in and where calling the police. The employee then I notice went to grab the man's arm when he jerked forward and headed back I side next to myself. As he was standing there I noticed that the man had a hunting knife on one side and what look to be a pistol holdster on the other. The man then said he had came to check out his headlight prices and had his in the car. They went and retrieved the headlights, which said here then keep them. And drove off in his vehicle... When that occurred all employees of store then ran out of doors and 1 employee even chased after him in the parking lot, where then the police pulled him over and let him go. Now the point of this message is that I manage a convenient store and have strict policies on not to do anything your employees did. Not knowing if this man could have been armed and dangerous or mentally unstable or even a aggressive personality, there for leading to possible potential harmful attack over a piece of merchandise. The employee leaving store to confront the man, also reaching for vehicle door and attempting to comprehend the man. Then the employees all walking outside putting themselves in harm way and the employee chasing after vehicle. So as of experience I was looking to hear your code of conduct for loss prevention and how letting employees put themself at potential life threatening situations, that could lead to assault to employee or the man from employee injury, death. When the man walked back in the store the employees could have blocked doors and preventing exiting to the best they could and calling the authorities.

AutoZone new alternator having a dead short

My alternator went bad in my blazer. I had my car towed back to my house.
I was driving the car on the freeway when I lost all power and the vehicle final stopped running. I then bought a replacement alternator from auto zone. After installing this part the battery could not be reconnected do to a short which burned the wire right off the alternator. I tried to locate the short by disconnecting the power wire from the starter, alternator, and fuse box. Once this was done I found that the alternator that I just installed from auto zone had a dead short from the power terminal to the casing of the alternator. I then reconnected all the wiring and when reconnecting the starter the terminal on the starter came out of the starter causing me to have to replace this part as well. I would not of had this problem if I had been given a alternator that wasn't shorted. The store replaced the alternator but would not do anything to compensate me for what had happened, so I purchased a starter from a different store. The alternator was tested at the store and I was told it wouldn't run. When I asked if the test showed the part shorted to the casing I was told the test that's done only checks to see that it runs. My electrical meter showed the power terminal shorted to the casing. This part says right on it triple tested which obviously meant nothing. The car is now working after changing the alternator out a second time, along with a starter that shouldn't of had to be changed.

AutoZone service

I went to autozone in toms river nj 08753 next to rite aid. I needed a new battery because I had to get a boost in forked river . I was going to go to Walmart but i had to work in toms river so I figured i would stop at auto zone to buy a battery. I got there at 8:00 am sunday jan 20. I told the man who was working that I needed a new battery and that i left my car running because i was afraid to shut it off. He looked and said he had the battery but he wasn't going to put it in because it was raining. I didn't know what to say because i was stunned that he said he wouldn't put it in. I was embarrassed because i felt like he thought i was crazy to ask him to put a battery in because it was raining. I Thought that was their job. I will never go to auto zone again.

I went into AutoZone to purchase oil and was not helped! During that time I was the ONLY customer there. Employees were just standing by the register talking. I asked to speak with the manager, told her no one helped & the customer service is poor. She brushed it off and laughed. This is the 2nd time I've experienced poor customer service at this location. I will not be going back

AutoZone customer service

Placed order 28 Dec. Entire order was in stock, supposed to arrive 31 Dec. Order split into 3 shipments part of which had been cancelled entirely & reprocessed, part not processed at all. Alex at cust svc informed me FedEx was not escalating investigations due to the season. Asked if Auto Zone could expedite/discount the parts. Alex informed me that he could either cancel the order and refund my money or allow the order to process with no known guarantee of timeline or delivery. I asked for his supervisor. After a 5 minute hold Alex returned to the phone but this time insisted he was Richard a customer service supervisor. Richard had the "SAME EXACT" voice as Alex and just to clarify, I'm professionally trained in voice recognition. I asked for his employee ID number so I could reference the incident to corporate to which he said he wasn't allowed to give me his employee ID number. Please rectify situation, get me my parts ASAP meaning today or tomorrow.

This was at the store on Flatsholds Parkway in Decatur Ga. The store manager Christine G. would not refund me for the part and almost accused me of trying to return a old used part. I had the receipt where I bought part from Auto Zone. I have been a loyal customer for over 40 years. Date of incident was around 2:00 p.m. 11/24/18 I cannot repress how disappointed I am with the service I received from Auto Zone. I have always said how well the customer service was when speaking with other people.
