Cash Crusaders unethical

Wednesday, 13th March 2019, my partner and sister went to the store to extend two items. They were told that they already had a buy for the next morning for R1000 and that she could not get the item. When the were told that the item was contracted they said its fine they"ll blacklist the phone and my partner, this had been said with attitude. They said they have new policies but nothing was told to the customers and no signs were put up and nothing on the internet. One of the managers told my partner to "mevrou hou jou mond asblief" not giving her the opportunity to explain things. When my partner said she was not leaving the store until she can get the items staff laughed at her. They called one of the bosses and asked a pen to take down a number she was refused the pen. One of the managers was sarcastic and asked if they wanted Mike's number and that they couldn't do anything anyway. Its not the first time they are this rude. One day we waited 43 minutes in an empty store to do a 5 day extension. Anyway they left the store. On the 15th March 2019 I went to the store to speak to a manager. I stood arms folded waiting. When the manager approached she said I believe you wanted to speak the manager. I then said yes was she on duty the 13th March she said "NO". I said because my partner and her sister came in regards to my items and my partner had been threatened to be blacklisted. She then said we should move away from the noise. We moved to the back of the store. I explained my reasons for me being there. I said that they never gave my partner a chance to explain things. She said they were drunk and performing. I giggled, and my acquaintance and I said at the same time they don't drink. The manager then said " whatever they were " she also said that they gave them an opportunity to buy back the phone at a discount of "60%" but this was the first my partner heard of it. I then also mentioned the fact that the phone had been stolen and in my name and that I had made a case which I didn't want to do. I said that my partner will make a case as she was threatened, mocked at and treated like filth. I also enquired if they aware of the staff does when they buy or pawn customers goods as they are under NCR. When the buyers make you an offer and you agree the agreement will state eg R1236.98 and buyer then gives you R1230.00 and pockets the R6.98 and when you extend or take out your item you paying interest on the amount R1236.98 now imagine getting 50 customers a day and pocketing that amount of change, wow that's R349 for the day. That is theft. They lie, they cheat, they steal with attitude. Never have I ever experienced such service before. The staff should be trained. Truly disgusted by their service. Definitely not living up to their vision.

Cash Crusaders Warrantee

I bought a brand new amplifier from the Phoenix branch of Cash Crusaders. After a month of use it developed a humming sound. Through social media I learnt that the store is very disappointing when trying to get an item fixed. I was told by a friend that they will say the speaker blew the amplifier.

So I decieded to take my speaker first and let them match an amplifier of which is the same one I bought. This is written on the slip as part of the advice for a warrenty. When I approached a sales person he said Dixon brand would match I asked about the Jebson brand which was not on display anymore. He said its the same company. To make sure... I asked to speak to a manager... he said speak to Ricardo. Ricardo told me that Dixon is same as Jebson and the speaker would match. I then revealed that I had already bought the amplifier and its got a humming sound.
He told me he my speaker blew the amplifier and il be charged a quotation fee of R195.00 if I dont accept the repair quote. At this point I was angry. I swore him from head to toe. To the point that he called the security to escort me outside for being loud and swearing. My amplifier matched the speaker its small speakers the amplifier is 40x2w its got little power. My speakers are 40w.
Anyway still my amplifier was brand new under warranty I have a right to return it. It was one month old.
I brought it in.

At this point the cashier should of checked if security stickers were broken on the screws etc.

After a few weeks I was told my warrenty is void because I removed a heat shield inside the unit.

My question is if I hand in an item under warranty shouldnt the person accepting the item check these things?

I had a heated argument with Ricardo he could of opened the item.
The item could of previously been repaired and sold as brand new.

This is not fair!
I want my money back or the amplifier to be replaced because I liked it.
I tried Hellopeter and they responded (lennon) by offering to pay for half the repairs of which was total 600approx. They want me to pay 300approx. Or pick up my item unrepaired at no cost.
Im trying to find the Provincial comsumer protection act I dont know if this is it.

Cash Crusaders customer service - cash crusaders calton centre

My name is njabulo nkosi, I brought my cell phone to cash crusaders which 8mp, 8 gp
Black samsung galaxy prime. I went to the store to negotiate since my contract had expired but instead they could not help me, no one was willing to listen to me even the manager his name is tumelo, he told me to go back to the store but still no one was willing to offer me some help. I am a loyal customer at cash crusaders. My cell phone has been there since august and I was not expecting such bad service from them. They told me my phone was sold but I saw it its still there, im willing to pay for it maybe even take it out because I cant afford to lose my phone.

Cash Crusaders laptop

I am writing today to complain of the poor service and bad attitude towards customers I received from your store, don't know if it's a franchise or what?

Sometime last year 2018, around June or July if not mistaken I pawned (loaned) my laptop to your store and I have been paying interest this whole time and I believe the amount has already passed the amount you guys loaned me, because I have been paying P300/per month and today I received the shock of my life and I can't still believe how I got Helped.
I arrived this afternoon around 15:25hrs today to come and pay interest for my loaned laptop, I greeted the lady by the cash counter and she greeted me back, give her my ID and I told her that, i her to pay interest for extension. The lady then checked d on the computer and told me that my laptop does not show on the system, she said that, the contract has expired and I told her that, I'm sorry for that I believe they was a miscommunication between the person I sent last time to come and pay interest in the previous month, because she had told me that the contract expires on the 20th of January, and I explained to her that I have been out of town I could not call the store to ask for extension because I was out of network line (meaning I was on work trip). The lady then told me that I means I should give up because they is nothing I can do, I then asked her, Will it be possible if you can reverse my items, she then told me that I she does not know anything about reversing items and her job is to take money from customers only…she then proceeded to tell me that I should go to the people who I gave them the laptop.
I left the store to get to the other side where they normally take items. I found a gentleman that side and the time was around 15:33hrs and I explained the same thing that I explained to the lady and the gentleman politely asked me to wait for the manager because he is out for lunch and he does not know where he went to. I then waited for about 15mins and then I asked the gentleman that, Iz't worth it to be waiting here or i am just wasting my time and the gentleman told me that, he is not sure I should just wait for the manager and to what he knows is that they is a lady that came this morning to ask the manager to reverse her items since her items expired yesterday 23/01/2019. I then gave up and walked out of the place and walked in the store just to find out that the lady is busy making funny jokes about me with her work mates, I then walked to the display shelf.
I got shocked and 100% disappointed that my item was already on display and selling for around P2600 whereas as the owner I loaned it for P1200 and what pains me a lot is that I have already PAID double the amount of money I have while I was paying interest because I had No money to take it out because I had no source of income, in fact I was not working by that time. It really shows that you guys are a total reap offs, you stealing from Batswana and i am ready to take action about this situation not that had happened to me but to prevent it from happening to someone like me.
And i am still shocked by what I have seen and it pains me a lot that I was not even given the LAPTOP BAG that I brought the laptop with and that bag was not part of the amount they gave me as a loan for the laptop.
I believe I will get the necessary help from my friends will it be lawyers or media, so that other Batswana don't get into the situation that happened to me.
It's not my first-time to encounter this with you guys, it once happened again in Broadhurst and I lost my laptop again and I did not complain, I have been doing business with you guys and this time it went to a different direction and with that I am ready to take action.
I trust this is not the way that cash crusaders wishes to conduct business with valued customers; I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn of how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.

Cash Crusaders cellular phone

Cash Crusaders poor customer service; 30 days loan

Today I went to eastlyn cash crusaders the manager became rude to me as much he ddnt come to me he was shouting. I went to get a 30 days loan with my 13 kg automatic machine he told me he is not taking the machines and refuse to refer me to another store for assistance I then went to denlyn even the um not happy as I wanted 1500-2000 loan for my machinethey only offered 800 I even produced the proof of purchase that I bought the machine with 7000 I need more bt they refused I dnt understand how you guys work

Cash Crusaders service and lack of professionalism

I went to cash crusaders the first week of December and pawned my play station 4 this would be the 2nd time I pawned it there at this perticular branch, the 1st time I went there already the reps that value the goods and pawn or sell them to you had made offers to purchase my console off the books and I had made it clear on both occasions I was not interested in selling as I'm still making payments for the consol and it is quite expensive and had expressed how valuable it is to me, dispite what I was telling them especially this one particular individual whom I think is incharge of that department, after pawning I would only come back after a few weeks to get it back, I live in pretoria and work in KURUMAN were this branch is and we were closing for December and had to come home to pretoria with the transport provided by our company, so I know the 1st week of January is my due date to make payment for the release of my consol or extend the contract to an extra month, I then went to cash crusaders pta in an attempt to pay for an extension thinking the system is all linked I was then told to call the KURUMAN branch and get their banking details so as to make a electronic payment, when I then called them I was put through to the gentleman who has been trying so desperately to purchase my consol, who then again over the phone offered to purchase my consol again, I declined his offer and asked for banking details for the eft, he then gave me his personal number and told me to make an e-wallet to him and he would pay for the extension, that's when I knew I was in trouble I then asked him to check how much I owe and when it's due, he proceeded to taking my ID number to check my info and found me on the system but still wouldn't tell me the info I had asked, not trying to be pushy and difficult in fear that I might not ever see my ps4 again I went along with what he said, I would then call numerous times daily to try sort out payment but I would be told they busy and they would call me back or I should call back but never do or tell me the same story wen I call, I then asked if I get a colleague of mine to come pay the extension would that be OK they said yes (please let me remind you that every time I call despite who I get the always hand me over to this one individual) I told them I'm sending someone over they said perfect, I then try to call to find out if the guy got there but never got an answer only told to call back later, after getting a hold of the person I sent he told me they refused him paying my extension and was told I need to send him with a certified ID copy despite me being in pretoria, I then only finally got a few vaiuge answers after hours that they did send him back even though I had made prior arrangements with them I'm sending someone over, they now telling me to wait until Monday of which I fear somehow my consol is gonna disappear

Cash Crusaders unaffordable loan

Hello I recently visited your lambton Cash converters store to loan some cash against my laptop. I told the buyer that I only required R500 he looked at the laptop and insisted that I take R2000. I explained that I only needed a small amount of cash and that it would be too much for me to pay back. He worked it out on his system and said if I take R2000 then it will only be R460 added to pay back. One of his colleagues sitting in the area started smiling at me because he insisted that I take that amount regardless of me saying it would be unaffordable, he eventually went to his manager & came back to me saying he will give me R1800 which he did. I'm now stressed out about getting this amount to pay and get my laptop back. How can I sort this out? Because I don't understand why he made me loan out more than I could afford and now I'm in a debt situation please advise how I can resolve this. I'm sure there is camera footage and audio to prove this somehow, or even to see the people in the room with us at the time to confirm the argument that happened for over 15 minutes before I eventually got time presses and agreed

Cash Crusaders paid in advance for tablet and did not receive it

To whom it may cornsern.

We bought a tablet at the Welkom branch and they said they will receive it on Wednesday. Thursday we went to pick it up and no tablet. They tried to sell a used one to us for R100 less, an we took it with the promise to take it back if it does not work, and it didn't. We took it back and collected our money back. One little girl is going to be very sad on Christmas, because she thinks she is getting the tablet. We can not vind a tablet anywhere else, they are either out of stock or to pricey for our pockets. We are very upset with the service we received from the Welkom branch. Now we must try to get a little girl something else so near to Christmas.

Cash Crusaders apple macbook air

I have sent this email on the 15th December to cash crusaders head office and Adderly street. Ive been almost 2 months without a laptop. Please assist me,

I spoke to you with regards to my broken laptop which I purchased on the Saturday 3rd November, I sent it for a diagnostic at Digicape which they said was the "Logic Board", I paid R300 and returned it the following Saturday 10 November (still within my 7day return policy).

I made a few appearances to pressure staff to get my laptop repaired however, I still waited a month. Gakeemah sent it to Wefix (unauthorised apple supplier) which they found nothing wrong because they haven't done proper testing.

I collected my laptop last week and sent it straight to Istore in Cavendish which they confirmed it to be the "logic board" which I refused to pay for R600 for technical report. I found a good working laptop at the Cash crusaders in Observatory, I booked it and provided proof that I will still purchase a laptop from a different Cash crusaders. However, Adderly street declined.

My father deposited R3000 last week to lay-by a IphoneX which I was willing to exchange however, I was again declined.

I have travelled numerous times to cash crusaders, I have spent so much time, I've spent money on parking, petrol and airtime. I received a R1000 ticket for parking in Adderly street. I have attached documents and emails trails from Digicape, Istore and the parking ticket. Please ask Gakeema for the other proofs.

I can sell the laptop privately however, I don't like to con people by selling them a broken goods, if Adderly street claim there is nothing wrong with my laptop then why wont you just take the laptop back and resell it?

I bought the laptop cause I needed it for my work, this is going into the 2nd month of waiting and now I am currently unemployed. I can take my financial loses however, this is a matter of service

I refused to be ripped off, on the 15 December, Gakemah's boss told her to send it in for technical reports which I have provided but you expect me to wait again?

What Gakeema's boss fails to understand is that I AM NOT TAKING THIS LAPTOP. I was considering including the emails of every single cash crusaders franchise in the western Cape and then barking loud. I am not going to stop, this is a passive email, I have all my records and should you want to be in the newspaper, social media or court, I will glady assist, I am not going away and I am not taking this laptop. Originally, I was happy with an exchange but now I want my money back.

Cash Crusaders dixon tablet

I bought a Dixon Tablet from Cash Crusaders over a month ago. Brand new unopened. I had problems since day one with that tablet. The staff at Cash Crusaders told me that the tablet I bought was not a calling tablet that's why the sound was so soft. After researching I went back there. Complained that the box says calling tablet. The one staff member told me if the tablet have a dial function then its a calling tablet like it states on the box. They decided to send it in for repairs. Eventually I got my tablet back. Again same issues with it. Went back there again.
Again more excuses. I spoke to the technician and he wasn't aware of the sound problem that was clearly stated on my repair slip along with other problems. After telling her that it it was on the slip she then said oh the technician replaced the speaker. My tablet was taken in for repairs again. Not only did I have the same issues, someone scratched my camera lens on that tablet. At this point I'm already very frustrated not having a phone .
I phoned the head-office the lady there was very friendly. She told me that Cash Crusaders need to do something about this as its already gone in for repairs. The lady at Cash Crusaders said that the head office cant do anything about this, she said the lady I spoke to is just a Secretary. Every time I need to phone Cash Crusaders or go in to find out whats happening.
Again went there today just to find out that they are waiting for spares and will call me.
This is the worst shop I have ever been to. I'm going to take this matter further as I have been waiting for over a month on a brand new item that was suppose to be swopped out there and then. My friend who bought one at the same place had problems too. Hers got swopped out straight away. Why do I have to wait so long and why don't they swop it out or refund? It was brand new. If it was 2nd hand I would understand . I don't want a butchered tablet back refund or this matter will be taken further.

Cash Crusaders unethical - selling of broken goods

We purchased a Xbox 360 game for our son which we normally do at the cash crusaders and once we tested the game we noticed it was broken. We then took it back with our slip and was told by the guy at the counter he would give us half the money back! My Fiance advised him that this product should have been tested and they sold us a broken game and they we would require our money back or we would take another game, the guy at the counter said this id not possible and only wanted to refund us half the money we paid for the game!

Im disgusted at Cash Crusaders and will never recommend or shop at any of their stores again.

Cash Crusaders defective blaupunkt tv

I bought a 32 inch tv on the 24 of August in Rustenburg, right now I am seating with gradual dying tv on stand, the tv was tested, and two months down the line, appears a tiny line across the screen, then internal rapid scratches and now a black dot.

Having had experienced this, I headed with my tv to where it was bought to request at least for repair, exchange or even refund, at the time I lost purchase slip, unfortunately due to this I wasn't, although quality has relatively nothing to do with me not having a slip, to prove my purchase I provided along with a bank statement indicating processed transaction.

Please assist.

Hi...Im very upset with the online pawn of cash crusaders.

I go through all the details filling in everything online, incl my model name, par numbers, every detail of my laptops.

Only to get asked more information via E MAIL. regarding processors, ram etc...Why do they ask all those details on the online platform in the 1st place.Why waste my time

Cash Crusaders apple watch

I made a purchase of the Apple Watch at the Gezina shop. The watch however did not have a series number at the back as in most versions of the watch and salesman could not tell what version it was.
I bought the watch and only later did I discover that it was the 1st generation and failing to update the new oS. I also felt that the watch was over priced. I called the shop the following day to make arrangement for item return.
I was shocked with the hostile treatment I got from the managers especially one named JP, he never bothered to hear the issue and just proposed if I don't need the watch I can sell it back to them at about 40% less the price I bought. He then just disappeared into the back shop for more than 30min.
The bigger manager later came in and his attitude was no less to his subordinate. I doubt if the shop has any customer care policy.
I have been a fan of cash crusaders shop for a long time but that was the last they saw of me

Cash Crusaders amplifier remote

On the 8th of August I bought an amplifier at Cah Crusaders Richards Bay, when I got home I realized that the remote was not working. On the 10th I took it back and the sales person confirm it was an incorrect remote and they didn't have the correct one in store, he took my number down and he promise to call me back once the remote arrives, he has never called me and i've been to the shop 4 times already and I still don't have a remote.

Cash Crusaders playstation control

I bought a playstation control from cash crusaders in florida 2 days ago.i took it back and told them its not working, they told me they will test the unit and call me later.
I went to collect the item, took it homw and still not working. I went back again today and told them.its still not working, but they refused to listen to me. The owner was called and i explained it to him, and he said its working, obviously not listening to me.
The way he spoke to me rudely, ams said im not allowed in the store again.
On the packaging its clearly states 6 months guarantee but he said its not so.
That to me is fauls advertising and i dont appreciate how they handled the problem.
Im sitting with a product not even 2 weeks old and still its not working.
I need to know what is the next step from here, as i wont just allow then to rip me off like that.
Please treat this matter as extremely urgent.

Cash Crusaders faulty fitness band

I bought a fitness band from Cash Cruisaders Uitenhage. About a month later drops started forming on the inside of the screen on one half only and later the day the screen display started fading. I informed Cash Cruisaders hereof and was told to bring it in. They sent it to check, came back, they cant help me as its liquid damage. I requested them to check again as it was not liquid damage and explained again. A fitness tracker should be atleast be protected against sweat, shouldnt it? They replied later on saying it still came back as liquid damage. I do not agree with this as it was nowhere near any liquid accept my own body.

Cash Crusaders dixon washing machine 14kg by cash crusaders n1

it is with great disappointed that I'm writing here.i bought a Dixon 14kg washing machine from this n1 city branch on 28of August2018 willing and able they sold it to me not even explaining to me the warranty only highlighted my slip at the back which I later read at home nevertheless 2minths later washing machine start giving me a problem by not spinning or draining out water where I then phoned the above mentioned store for assistance regarding what to do however I was put on hold while the manager wasn't available put from one person named Sipho then to Lincoln whom said he will ask his manager Annatjie to phone me back.2days went by where I then decided to phone there customer service and spoke to consultant Yolandi who made work of the situation because only then I received a call from Annatjie who now makes arrangements to pick up for repairs not even apologising for not getting back to me, however never was the washing machine picked up that day and again no communication from them telling me that they not able to find my location or apartment after another week I phoned them again and my patience was really running out by now and frustration is high eventually plans were made for machine to be picked up now almost 3weks later after handed in for repairs I phoned customer service again this time speaking to Candice who sincerely apologises on behalf of the store for not getting back to me doing her best finding out about my washing machine on the other line to my surprise the washing machine repair was Quoted almost R200 which no one told me before so now Annatjie phones again having a whole argument with me about the day they couldn't pick up my machine and how they tried to phone me and my right then and there I lost it completely telling her I'm not paying another cent for anything because even though I'm hearing what she's telling me nobody explained anything to me about how the warranty works when there's a blockage it's my liability to pay for repair, nothing so now they keeping me liable for something they didn't explain to me when purchasing this product and which I refuse to pay this is daylight robbery now my machine which I paid for full in cash is again in their hands and I've got no benefit out of it.
