Chrysler town & country limited wheelchair van

I purchased a Chrysler Town & Country Limited wheelchair van 2 1/2 years ago I have had several computer problems with it. It currently will not start because of a computer problem. I was told it thinks someone is attempting to steal it so the alarm comes on and it will not start. The van has been in for repair since September and now they inform me there are no parts available to fix it. Wheelchair vans cost between $50, 000.00 and $73, 000.00. It's a miracle when a handicap person can it one then to find out it can't be repaired.

A friend o mine who is a sales manager who sells Chrysler/Dodges told me this has been a problem for years. Also I have friends who are mechanics and they have told me the same thing

Now I owe money for a van that is useless.
WHY DOESN'T CHRYSLER FIX THEIR PROBLEMS WHEN THEY KNOW THEY HAVE THEM?

Chrysler I was told that the electrical panel that does not work on my 2011 chrysler 300 c cannot be fixed because the part is no longer made or in stock

I am the owner of a 2011 300 C. The switches fror the Air Conditioning do not work right. After holding the car for 4 days the Service Rep told me that Chrysler no longer makes or has in stock the panel that needs replacing.

They released the car to me without fixing the problem. Therefore I have to drive the car with out air conditioning, and a rear view camera.

I am in disbelief that Chrysler does not have the part in stock and can't locate the part anywhere.

This is outragious and I want an explaination and my car fixed.. I can't believe that Chrysler does not hold vital parts for 7 or 8 years!

Chrysler jeep renegade 2016

I bought a renegade 2016 from a dealer, i received it in Febrauary 2016. And starting from May 2016 i faced many problems with the car in the transmittion system, tank fuel housing and hood doesn't open.
All this during the previous 2 years believe it or not i had to visit service center every two months. And the transmittion system faliure that happened regulary effects the whole car to thr point that the car could stop suddenly on it speed. And actually this is a life threatning. And every time i visit the service center and ask for the reason of all what happening to the car they say that its a manufacture issue. The car only made 30000 kilometers till now. And next month it will be out if the warranty. I need a solution for all what is happening and if u want more details about the car history you could contact the service center and u will see the number of times i visited the center because of a faliure in something new.

Chrysler ypsilon headlight fault

I have A ypsilon with only 15000 miles on the clock and it has a fault with the head lights going off whilst driving at random intervals. It has had the recall done with the software update but this has not cured the the dangerous issue with this car. I have researched this and there is multiple forums relating to this issue which state the only fix is to have the stalk changed as the problem lies here. The Jeep car service centre have not helped me in any way stating the update has been completed and I have to pay nearly 100 pounds to even have a look at the car.
This is shocking as the issue is well documented and I cannot believe Chrysler will not rectify this fault as part of a recall.
My registration is NL62 XXW.

I would appreciate some common sense to rectify this dangerous fault before taking this any further.

Chrysler dodge ram uncredited dash plastic

It's unsafe, unprofessional, uncalled for installing dashes on ram trucks that were not properly cured. Other owner must not have been aware, but i'm angry and it jeopardize my safety. While on the hwy, traffic dead stop, ash tray falls under my brake pedal. Instead of panic and rolling my truck, I managed to work it free and miss collision. A few months later, console above falls down, startling me while driving.
Poor unsafe product should've been tossed, not installed, trying to scam owners who aren't aware of where fault resides. How could a company, cut corners, with no regard to their customers safety as well as enjoying our truck's when they prematurely crack because of substandard manufacturing? I was advised to contact chrysler.
Whole dash cracked, I tried replacing, but poorly made, from same batch, doesn't work! I want a safe dash! One that doesn't fall apart driving down the road! I do not believe it to be anything less to expect than for this company that passed off poorly cured plastic as safe, reliable, and was to look good only to get very short use of it and hazards with it, to replace as they should've done. I'm sure, there are properly cured dash replacements made once customers brought it to attention and attorneys getting involved.
Simple replace and be done. Customer satisfaction brings customers back... Poor product makes customers abandon purchase and go elsewhere, like ford. They'd not do such.

Chrysler 2015 jeep jk rain water leaks on top right side door

I have two problems the rain water leaks on my 2015 Jeep Willy's JK and no dealer in my area that will handle the problem. The one dealer that returned my call had one solution in mind trade the Jeep in for a new one. Wow so when you purchase a Jeep and it has a factory problem instead of repairing it the dealer just prefers to making a sale. The dealer ratings in the NYC area are atrocious. What to do? Even the closest NJ dealer said to me they don't deal with this type of problem. What's left go to another car company that stands behind their product? Help!

Chrysler 2008 chrysler town and country

I purchased a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country limited in 2009 with less than 25, 000 miles on it. I was offered a "Lifetime Max Care" warranty that was supposed to be "AAA" on steroids. Needless to say my town and country has been in/out of the dealership 27 times since the purchase for varies issues. The latest is a engine issue. I took the van to the dealership because the engine was making a "tapping" sound. After the engine was torn apart in pieces the Chrysler inspector has made the determination that the issue was caused by a faulty spark plug. Now take it the check engine light was not on nor was it running rough. Yes I do understand that a 6 cylinder engine will run roughly if one of the spark plugs is not firing properly. This was not happening. The faulty spark plug is not a covered component on the lifetime warranty. How convenient! Now I am having to pay the almost $4000 to have the engine put back together. I have maintained all service records and maintenance for the vehicle. This vehicle has had the oil changed every 3000 miles and all required maintenance performed in a timely manner. I must say that this will be my last Chrysler product. I basically paid 3900 for a "Lifetime" warranty that is not helping me in my time of need.

Chrysler 2008 jeep wrangler

We have 2008 Jeep Wrangler that we bought brand new with the so called lifetime warranty! We have owned our Jeep for 10 years and in that ten years we have had four engines replaced! We have now taken it in again same problem. But now you're saying because we didn't bring it in for a 5 year drive train check the warranty is void. I'm arguing with you saying we haven't had a drive train last for five years to get a five year check! It seems we take it in every three years to replace the drive train in stead of doing a check. It seems your quality control on engines is lacking! We love our Jeep which is why we purchased the warranty in the first place! If your company could build an engine that would last more than 30, 000 miles we would be a lot happier! But right now our Jeep has been in the dealership for 5 weeks now waiting to hear on whether or not you will stand behind your warranty! Which we didn't make you wait to get the money for! Your people are telling us we didn't meet your warranty conditions but I say your company did not meet there responsibilities by building an engine that works! 4 engines in less than ten years even you guys have to see something is wrong!

Chrysler 2013 town and country transmission

On my way home from Conway, South Carolina, about five miles, at 50 miles per hour I started hearing a whining noise. Within a mile or so the rpms jumped to around 4000 then the transmission acted as if it were in nuetral, but it was still in drive. After slowing to about 30 miles per hour it started pulling again. At this time I was about a city block from my home so I continued there, but after stopping to open the garage door the vehicle wouldn't move. After shutting it off I was able to turn it around for the tow truck driver to haul it away.
After contacting the dealer in Conway, it was towed there. My wife and I are in our 70's, the van has just over 57, 000 miles on it and it has been babied sense we bought it new. I have been around cars all my life and have never had a transmission act like this. Today, [protected], the dealer told me the transmission is shot, do to low fluid, but it had no leaks. At 50, 000 miles my wife stopped at the dealer and ask about the transmission and was told it was ok if it was working fine. Since there is no way for us to check the fluid (someones idea of a joke) we continued to drive it. Today we found out a reman transmission will cost us $4, 000.00. Merry Christmas!
In the last fifteen years we have purchased three new Chrysler vans, sorry no more. A $35, 000.00 vehicle should have a transmission that will last many more miles than ours did. We are from Kokomo, Indiana and I know Chrysler used to build the best transmission ever and they lasted a long time. Word got around then and it will now. What happened? Tim Terry

Chrysler heated steering wheel and heated front seats

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Laremie, when I first got the truck my heated steering wheel and heated seats worked amazing, however now my heated seats in the back are still working great but my front heated seats and steering wheel barely get warm and the steering wheel will only slightly warm up when it feels like it. I have had it in at 5 different dealers now for it to be looked at and continue to get the run around about its not throwing any codes so that's just the way it is! This is not acceptable on a $73, 000 truck that only has 10000kms on it. I have done alot of research on this and I believe the heated controls module is faulty as it used to work great and now it doesn't as for the steering wheel the heated control module controls this aswell, there is a thermostat in the wheel which may be faulty. Bottom line is I need this to be addressed immediately as nothing is being done about this situation and I am continually wasting my time bringing it in for the same problems. This was a exspensive truck and the heated seats and steering wheel did work for about 4000kms this is not how a warranty works I want new parts to be installed on this truck regardless of whether or not it's throwing any codes. I have had a 2016 Ram 1500 before and the heated seats and steering wheel got hot! I have also test drove other Rams with the same heated seats and steering wheel and they work awesome kind of like mine used to!

Please help

Mike.

Chrysler right rear sliding door

Took car to dealer for door not opening all the way. Starts to open then catches on something and closes. Dealer replaced a couple of parts. Called and said they fixed it and I can. Pick it up. I brought it home and the next day it did the same thing. I can't believe there's no simple adjustment to keep this door from dragging on the rail and causing the door to close. This is 2019 Pacifica with less than 650 miles on it when it started doing this. I checked the tracking on the other side of the car and it doesn't have any bolts in the track at the same place the other one does. That is the spot where the door roller hits and causes the door to close. I would think that the track wouldn't have anything in the way of the door roller and if there was anything, you should be able to adjust it, so it wouldn't hit.

Chrysler 2013 chrysler town & country transmission

I purchased a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country from Fowler Dodge in Oklahoma City in April 2013. The manufacturer's warranty covers drive train (transmission) up to 100, 000 miles or for 5 years. The vehicle reached 5 years in April of this year (2018), but has just over 48, 000 miles as of November 2018. While the vehicle has been well cared for, the transmission failed and requires complete replacement in November 2018, less than 7 months after the manufacturer warranty expired to cover the repair and components. I had purchased an extended warranty (preferred wrap coverage) through the same dealership and Protective 411 (previously Advantage), but the policy does not cover drivetrain. My concern/complaint is that a transmission would fail on this Chrysler product in under 50, 000 miles, and the manufacturer does not cover the replacement because the vehicle is over 5 years old, even though the mileage limit is 100, 000 miles for drivetrain.

Chrysler fletcher chrysler dodge jeep ram

I bought a 2013 Dodge Caravan about 3 years ago from Fletcher in Franklin Indiana. The 1st time I took my van in for an oil change it was good, the 2nd time and every time after were inexcusable. On 3 different occasions I was told an hour and a half to 2 hours, but was there for 4 hours. I was told by someone in service "sorry we forgot you were still here." I went in about 6 months after I purchased the van because my father who is a mechanic said it had an e-vap leak. The service manager told me he wasn't sure of what my dad was talking about. He even asked me to bring my dad in to show him what he was talking about. I was sent away with nothing accomplished. My dad replaced the gas cap because that could show as an e-vap leak, it worked only for about a year but the check engine light would come on periodically. I mentioned the e-vap leak every time I would go in for my routine oil changes and they still didn't understand. I stopped going there for my oil changes due to being "forgotten" more than once, along with being treated as if I was an inconvenience. I took my van in back in June of this year because I had a transmission line leak, the fluid was in my driveway. I was told I didn't have a leak. They did some other things to my van including replacing the gas cap once again because they were getting an "e-vap" leak code, which I took it in for 6 months after buying the van. They did $300 + worth of other things and claimed I had no transmission line leak. During all of the findings to see what needed repaired I had asked for a vehicle to use while they had mine. I was told at 1st that they couldn't provide a rental which was part of their original lifetime powertrain gimmick to sell the vehicle to begin with. I went through about 4 different people, my husband included to fight for something to drive. They tried putting me in a Jeep at 1st, but I couldn't fight my 4 kids in it so I had to pass. I also have a special needs son that doesn't walk and weighs 75lbs and really need something equivalent to what I had. It was a struggle to obtain such a vehicle. They finally called claiming to have someone in their service department drop off the van that they had been driving earlier than they expected to so I could drive it. The service manager acted as if he wasn't happy to see me and I was a nusience to them. He didn't even sit down to talk to me about anything going on with my own vehicle. He had me sign for the rental, handed me my copy and the key and said "it's sitting right out there." Around the time that I went in for the work needing done to my van my husband had went in for an oil change because he purchased his 2015 Ram from them about 2 years ago. One of the service techs closed the garage door down on the hood of his truck, tried wiping it off and acting as if it didn't happen. Another customer saw him do it and went up to my husband to tell him. He went to handle the paperwork and it wasn't spoken of, so he asked about it because another customer had seen it. They acted as if they didn't want to accept responsibility for it and tried telling him the would take care of it themselves. It took him weeks to get it figured out and multiple trips and calls to places. The original body paint on his truck has also been bubbling in spots, which he has told them about and they have yet to do anything about it. They actually tried blaming it on the body shop that repaired some things from an accident, but it's bubbling in spots that they did not touch for that repair. My husband went back there this morning to tell them I still have a transmission line leak and it was even more noticed when my battery went out and had to be replaced. They were rude to him as soon as they saw who he was. They proceeded to tell him that they told me in June that the lines needed replaced and I said I didn't want to do it, which is what I went there for to begin with and was told there wasn't a leak. They told him in would be about 3 weeks before they could do it. Mind you I have been driving with this for months, knowing it was there. They tried claiming they degreased the lines back in June when they found the leak (which according to them wasn't there) and that's why they were so clean. My husband degreased the lines on Wednesday when he had to replace my bad battery while him, myself, my sister and her boyfriend (who is in the auto mechanic field also) were all looking for the leak. We took photos of what we saw. Fletcher told my husband that what we had taken photos of wasn't what we were thinking. My husband took my van to Best One of Indy after and sure enough the van had leaks from the transmission cooling lines. We had them do the repairs to the lines because Fletcher wasn't willing in June and wanted to wait weeks still. I will never ever buy another vehicle from Fletcher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Franklin Indiana. My husband won't either. Their service department is beyond unprofessional and not knowledgable in the careers they have chosen. I am disgusted in the way this purchase has turned out, along with my husbands. I have 4 children, one of which has multiple disabilities and I could have been stranded somewhere with them because if the negligence at Fletcher. I would be embarrassed to operate a business this way and would never recommend anyone to purchase from them. Thank you.

Chrysler 2013 dodge dart rallye

I has purchased my dart back in 2016 with only 2600p miles on it. Still had the powertrain warranty but bought extended just in case. This car is a pos dont ever buy one! In the 2.5 years I have own this car it has had 2 complete turbo line replacements, a complete engine replacement and now is in the shop again for the 3rd time in 30days to have the shifter completely replaced. These major fixes are not all. I have found my car in the middle of a busy street due the 1st gear and the brake not holding the car. I have also been hit by the car after the ebrake was supposedly fixed. Oil housing components leaking oil constantly among many other things. This car will be the death of me and chrysler fails to call me back with my concerns and complaints they just close the case without notification.in 2.5 years this car has has 10 major fixes and it only has 49000 miles as of now! It has cost me time away from work, money beyond the warranty and rentals, and severe mental stress and anxiety. Chrysler own up to your mistakes and take care of the bad cars you put out there before someone is seriously injured!

Chrysler recall request

I have a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country, 75, 000 miles. In June 2018 I had to get the oil pump replaced and then in August 2018, the TIPM had to be replaced. I read of thousands of consumers who have had similar issues of a faulty TIPM and the faulty TIPM makes other parts on the vehicle go out such as the oil pump. This has cost me over $1, 700 and 2 weeks without a vehicle. I have 6 kids (all under the age of 5) so renting a vehicle big enough for everyone was not affordable. I had to use money I had saved up for my son's ABA therapy for his autism to pay to get my van fixed. I should not have to be out those expenses because this is an issue that should have been a recall. I am requesting a recall of the TIPM and for reimbursement of my expenses please.

Chrysler 2014 jeep grand cherokee rear hatch area panel disjoining

I own a 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo. This summer (2018), the rear hatch (liftgate) area interior panel (right, left and upper) gradually began loosening (separating). These areas are currently held in place with tape. I recently visited a mechanic shop and after inspection of one area - showing me the clip; and trying to reinsert it, I was informed that the clips (fasteners) that were supposed to hold these areas in place weren't holding. I was further informed that Efird Chrysler Jeep Dodge Service Staff had not secured (properly inserted the pins/clips) the areas after separating them to install the backup camera (in 2014) - resulting in the gradual disjoining. I revisited Efird and requested that they correct the problem; Efird declined stating that my warranty had expired (although, I informed that that I had not problem with the camera - the problem was with their negligence which should have no time limitation. Efird adamantly stated they were following Mopar 2-year policy and therefore could not assist me. I have never seen nor experienced the interior (rear) parts of a vehicle coming apart at seams. I seldom use rear hatch, accordingly, I'm inquiring whether this problem resulted from normal deterioration, Efird negligence/carelessness during installation of backup camera, or a Chrysler's manufacturing defect?
