Etihad Airways job offering

Hello sir..
I received a job offer from etihad group of companies, for the post of Accountant, they are offering me 4000 AED. With all facilities provided by company.. They demanded me passport copy and photos to upload on their website for the further process.. Kindly tell me is it fake or real... I received email and also about job offer by etihad group of companies. And I received email from ert@etihadgroupcareer.com.

Etihad Airways customer service - ground crew

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against the ground crew in Cairo International Airport handling my flight EY654 to Abu Dhabi on the 16th of February.

While boarding the plane around 1:20 PM I was asked to provide my passport and boarding pass when trying to provide it, the lady tried to snatch it from my hands, I advised her to wait, and after providing the documents to her she looked into them and then she threw the passport with the boarding pass rudely to her colleague on the desk, this was racially motivated by the ground crew, as I am a Coptic Christian and the ground crew that was involved in the incident was wearing the hijab and I had a tattooed cross that was visible on my right hand when the incident happened and I recall from the incident that her treatment changed to be aggressive once she saw my Cross.

I would like to complain about :

1- why all the crew did not wear clear badges to reflect their names as I do not know the name of the responsible that did this, all I know that she was wearing a scarf.

2- The rude and the unprofessional way I was treated should not be tolerated

I tried to reach out to Ethad Airways [RQID:694928] but no response.

I strongly believe that no one should be discriminated against for religion colour or gender, and I look forward to hear from you soon.

on my return Flight from Cairo I was made to pay excess baggage of 5Kg for $227 Australian dollars, i think this was a mistake by the ground crows as your website indicates much lesser .
after reviewing the official Ethad website it indicates allowance up to 32 K and extra 5kg to be purchased, i was advised that the cost of the 5 kg was much lesser and i found out from my bank statement that an extra charge was charged .
this is money taken out of my account without my consent .

please review and refund.

Etihad Airways delay and damage of checked in baggage

I was flying by Ethihad to USA on Jan 19 from India. My Checked in baggage was delayed by 3 days (Claim # ORDEY14703) & when I received the same it bag was damaged. I had sent informed to Ethihad air ways also sent 3 follow-up emails but there is no response from Ethihad airways.

Due to 3 days delay I had to purchase some mandatory clothing. I had request the refund for
1. Delay for 3 days
2. Baggage damage
3. Initial purchase need to be done due to baggage delay

Etihad Airways etihad reward shop

I ordered a Samsung gear 3 watch from the etihad reward shop. Supposedly it takes max 6 working days for delivery. Its now been 3 weeks an 6 emails without a single response! I'm furious with this! The previous time it took 2 months for a tablet I ordered! I've emailed customer service twice and filled the contact us page 4 times. Not a single reply! Thanks for effectively steeling my money!

Etihad Airways booking and boarding

Hello,
I am the regular traveller to Europe on business purpose. This time I preferred etihad airlines for my travel, which very much disappointing and frustrating. While travelling from India to Frankfurt I was asked to postpone my travel to next day due to over booking. Some how did not happen because I denied. While return back to India at Abudabhi ethad denied my boarding. I have planned ans booked the flight as per my comfort, comittments, personal works, paid huge amount for ticket. Now as I was stopped from boarding at terminal3 of abudhabi airport, all the planning got effected. Who compensates my valuable time. They provided accommodation in a dormitory kind of room where just space for a bed like a cell for sleeping. No facilities are available. Forced to use public airpoet toilets. For the food I got to run half kilometer, even the coupon is very limited. Atleast i thought it could be okay if they give accomidation and others are fine. But very worst service from etihad. Frustrating. Not treating the customers well. When I questioned the people at information center who postponed my flight to next day at terminal3 they are not responding at all. They are not accountable and telling that you can complaint in the etihad website with very casual way. I have travelled many times in lufthanza, Emirates air swrvives. Never had any problem. I would have booked better flight if they could have made "flight full/no seats avaialble" in booking sites. Etihad tried to change the flight at both the times while to and fro. Who compensates for my valuable rime? Who are you to change my flight of I have already booked on perticular date? Please give me the justification. I had very bad time and discomfort lost my 1day of time inspire of spending huge amount on booking ticket in etihad airlines.
I have changed from below flights.

Hello,

I contacted in social network sites also. No use they asked me to contact guest relationship team. Etihad re routing the issue with in themself making a loop. Finallys issue is not resolved, I will raise a concern to our travel desk and also share my experience and all the communications in our social connect portal of our organization so that my other colleagues will not face same experience like me. They at least choose the airlines carefully.

Hello,
That coupon is useless for me. I do not have international travels planned. Compensation should be straight forward that can be utilised any where. Also accommodation at airport was not proper. If they would have told about overbooking and non availability of boarding passes to the connecting flights, I would have rejected travel in Frankfurt itself. Executive at airports misguided me. Please go through the eithad terms and conditions on customer rights for compensation. Then you will realise what I hot and what I should get as per the terms and conditions. Why etihad executives misleading customers. Is customer satisfaction is not important to you?

=> I have raised a complaint in social media as you suggested.
=> But the Etihad representative at social media asking me like why did not denied at the starting point "Frankfurt"? Now it is not possible for compensation. If the Etihad representative at Frankfurt does not give true information when ask for second boarding pass and if She tell that I will be issued with boarding pass at "Abudhabi" airport, How can I deny in this case. just to manage the situation and cheat customer Etihad representative did not behave professionally.
=>He said nothing in his hand, asked me to Contact Etihad Guest relationship team.
=>I have done that also, I raised concern in Etihad Official website also. But I did not get any response yet. No one contacted me.

Apart from this

=>At "Abudhabi" Etihad executives did not give right information when I ask for Tourist Visa as wait time is "18h" She simply told It is not possible just to manage the things, Later I realize that this can be done in 0.5h to 1h.
=> She told I will be avail with good accommodation and food, again this is not true, they arrange dormitory having a rack of 2 beds, no wash room and nothing. Food was very limited, Just allowed to take any one item.
=> She gave a coupon of 200 Dollars and told be that I can use it for travel any where, but she did not tell that I can use it in Etihad, later when I verify I can use it in only Etihad, For booking I should run to Etihad office, which Can't use inside India within a year.

Later when I ask them about above 3 points, they said we cant do any thing, you can contact customer care/ guest relationship team.

Just to manage the situation they hide information to the customer. Very unprofessional. All the reason for false information is compensation (600Euros) as per the Etihad terms and conditions @ https://www.etihad.com/en-us/legal/terms-and-conditions/

I am very much disappointed with the respect with Etihad service. A very good lesson from Etihad.

Etihad Airways baggage fees

My daughter and I recently flew from Chicago to Hyderabad, India and back on American Airlines and American's partner airlines, Etihad Airways. When I arrived at the airport for the departure flight, I was informed each traveler was only entitled to one checked bag and there was a $100 baggage fee for every additional checked bag. I paid $200 for two additional bags. American claims this is per Etihad's policy, but Etihad's website states each person is entitled to two checked bags. Moreover, I have a gold card member of American Airlines and also carry Citi Platinum Select American Airlines credit card that entitles me to two free checked bags for myself and each person traveling with me.

On the return flight, Etihad informed me that the charge for one additional bag was $300. I asked why and was informed that was the policy. Nothing on Etihad's website provides any indication of this baggage fee. Nor did American Airlines ever state I would be charged $320 for one bag on the return flight.

In short, I paid a total of $520 for two "extra" bags to Hyderabad and one "extra" bag on my return. I believe the "extra" bags were not extra. They should have been included in my fare. I believe your action in allowing this charge is in violation of a USA Department of Transportation regulation found at 14 CFR 399.87.

I asked the Etihad agent at the Hyderabad airport where it says we pay $320 for extra bag and he could not show it. Clearly, it does not exist. I am also surprised that it is $100 per bag while leaving USA and $320 on the return. It makes no sense to me. I traveled on Etihad before and was allowed 2 bags per passenger. This has ruined our experience and I doubt we will ever travel on Etihad.

Etihad Airways delay of baggage for more than 24 hours

my baggage got delayed more than 24 hours while travelling from Jeddah - Abu Dhabi - Kuala Lumpur. I am demanding compensation against delay my baggage since this incidence disturb me a lot. I faced very serious problems such as:
1- my medicines for blood pressure, Cholesterol, Diabetic medicine and uric acid were in the delayed baggage so, I was without medicines for more than 24 hours.
2- my+family's clothes were in the delayed baggage so, we spent more than 24 hours without changing dress.
3- our all chargers for mobile phones and WiFi were in the delayed baggage. So, we were without communication with our families in home country which create physiological stress for us and for our families.

Etihad Airways booking a ticket

Trying to reserve a ticket through Etihad website, credit card was not accepted through the payment process therefore I chose for a bank transfer. The money have been cleared from my European bank account 5 minutes after the booking was placed, but on the phone Etihad India claims they never received the payment after 6 days! My money is gone and I have not received any booking confirmation of my flight! Which causes major inconveniences. The CS is reluctant to provide status information on the matter in writing, e.g. via e-mail. I have sent them 3 e-mails, after 5 days I have received no response.

Dear sir,
I bought my ticket enclosed to travel by Etihad airways (EY) 251 to travel on January 20th from kozhikode airport (ccj) to riyadh (ruh). it was a connection flight via abudhabi. the departure time from kozhikode was at 4.30 am on the day. I reached the counter of Etihad airways in the airport two hours before the flight and submitted my ticket for boarding pass then then staff incharge in the office refused to accept my ticket and issue boarding pass and give my boarding pass. the reason that officer told me was that my saudi reentry visa paper is not with me printed. even though I had it on my mobile I showed it to her and she did not accept it. after argument for half an hour she told me that she cannot go inside the airport and so I missed the flight and was not able to travel. so to reach my destination I had to purchase another ticket by air india for more than 16000 rupees and travelled the same day to riyadh. but from bombay they never insisted to show the print of reentry visa of saudi, instead I showed them in my mobile and I was able to go to riyadh. for the reason I was not able to travel by Etihad flight I had a loss of the amount of the purchased ticket which was more than 12000 rupees.
I hereby request you to take necessary action
1) to recompensate for the loss occurred to me refunding my whole amount of the ticket purchased and for the loss of time and amount that I had to purchase a new ticket.
2) now a days when every airline company is allowing data from mobile devices request you to cancel this outdated rule if it is there. hope that you will take necessary action as soon as possible.

Etihad Airways refund of my money

I have tried to book a ticket through the Etihad app, I reached to the payment page and attempted to pay three times, the payments were not accepted and the message stated my card has not been charged. I went through an agency and got the ticket. However when checking my bank statements Etihad has charged me twice for the tickets. Which is a total of 774.44 (£387.22 each) . This money is needed for other bill, it's been four days I have contacted every social app, contact center and sent emails to the feedback department, I have gotten no response and now I'm inconvenienced because of this. I would really just like my refund of my money please.

Etihad Airways lost luggage and and bag lock broken by someone at allama iqbal international airport lahore pakistan

I am writing about the complaint. I was arrived at Allama iqbal international airport from the eithad airline EY241. I am come from the Canada. I changed the aeroplane from the Abu Dhabi. When I saw my luggage lock was broke and my some luggage is lost.

Your service is not good. I have travelled by etihad. Because it's a international and good airline. I could have travelled by many other airlines. But I prefer to travel by etihad. I am complain to your staff. They are not listening to me . I am felling my insult here. That is unfair. From the last two days, I am rounding the airline. But I felt the insult. My luggage around about the 600 canadian dollars. And I travelled from the Winnipeg to Toronto and then I changed the plane from the Toronto by the etihad airways . Etihad Airways etihad guest services membership issue

I have emailed them 1st on: septem 7, 2018 but still the problem is not solved. I had a family member added in my account and I deleted that as no miles were acquired jointly. But still they are asking about the relationship proof but I already emailed that the documents are not with me and they can delink the name (if any) and remove accrue miles (if any) as per the policy.

While I have sent the last email, informing my decision that has been mentioned above, on nov 27, 2018, they still didn't reply me back. I am feeling, as a customer I am being ignored and it seems that this problem of mine is nothing to them.

I am really feeling frustrating while still hoping that the etihad authority will look into this matter.

Etihad Airways changed our confirmed booking without notifying us

Hi,
We are writing to lodge a complaint against Etihad Airways for changing our confirmed booking all of a sudden on the day we were flying back from Ahmedabad (India) to Sydney (Australia) after New year Holidays on the 15th of January 2019.

We had booked four tickets online ( round trip) from Sydney to Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad to Sydney through the BYOJET WEBSITE three months prior to our trip.

Later when we received my mothers tourist Visa, we booked another round trip ticket from the ETIHAD WEBSITE- with same flights so that she can travel with us. As she cannot travel alone we made sure that all the five of us board on same flights.

Moreover, Etihad didn't even inform us 48 hours ago. On the contrary they had sent us the regular reminder email a day earlier on 14th January 2019 - that the flight is ON TIME.
Please note we are 5 passengers - among them is my youngest daughter who is just 11 yrs, one is a Diabetic child who is on insulin shots and one is my mother who is senior citizen of 61 years old - who has back problems and cannot even stand or walk for long time.

When we reached airport on the 15th January, around 6:30 and stood in the queue for 1 hour for baggage check. At 8 pm I requested the staff to check in us quickly as my son was having low blood glucose and my mother was unable to stand. They provided me the wheel chair for my mom and asked us to check in from another counter of Business Class.

We stood there for a while and the CSA - gave us the boarding pass for Ahmedabad to Mumbai - saying we will get the remaining boarding pass from Mumbai. Soon, another senior CSA from Jet Airways, interrupted and tore the boarding pass provided and thew them into the bin. When we asked what was happening- he said that our tickets are Void and the system was showing two bookings on same.
We assured that we haven't changed our booking and showed them the reminder emails we received a day earlier about our flight on Time. He said as the authorities are with Etihad we cannot control anything.
We were so stressed and upon lot of discussion- he told we need to call Etihad to send us the new email about the edited booking.
We called Etihad Australia number so many times the call got cancelled- finally we were assisted by Etihad- customer service person named (SAFWAN) who sent us the new booking for all five of us through SINGAPORE- which was flying next day 6:25 am.
The hassel was where do we spend whole night? On the airport or should be go back home which was far from airport. Atleast one hour drive.
Also how do we carry so much luggage back home to and from- as we need to reach airport again next morning before 4:30 am to board 6:25 am flight.

All this stress and mental harassment was enough for me to get dehydrated- i started having loose motions and vomiting on the airport itself. Somehow we agreed to fly next day as per the new booking - but my question is what is the compensation for all this unnecessary pain?

Last but not least- after agreeing to the new booking- we couldn't travel as a family. We were provided all five seats in different directions. It was real hassel for me to repeatedly run here and there on the flight to take care of my young daughter and diabetic son and old mother.

All the customer service told us only the crew can help us to get seats near by. They said as the flights are full we cant do anything and when we requested the crew on board they didn't even help us.

Me my family had the lifes most unbearable experience with ETIHAD- and I need answers to my questions-
1. How did Etihad change our confirmed booking without our notice? The flight was not canceled- it was flying on time. Why our tickets got changed? We were suppose to fly as per routine.
2. The CSA- Etihad (SAFWAN) said the booking was changed on the 15th morning- who did that? Etihad said Jet Airways did it. And the CSA Jet airways (Himanshu) said only ETIHAD has the control. Now the question is who is saying the truth? ETIHAD OR JET?
3. If Etihad changed the booking- why didn't they inform us in advance. (We didn't receive any email or text message on 15th January.
4. Both our Australian numbers was working- we just received one miss call on our Australian number in the afternoon around 2:30 pm. So we called back Etihad and spoke for 2 minutes. They still didn't tell us that our booking was changed.
5. But both our emails were also working.. why didn't they email us?
6. We have provided all the screenshots of the calls and text messages and emails with the timestamp on it.
7. So that you can check and compensate us.
8. I want the full refund of my all my five tickets fare from Ahmedabad to Sydney.
9. If you do not compensate asap. I will apply in consumer court against Etihad and will take it further. I am the permanent resident of Australia and my husband is the citizen of Australia. So we have the right to fight - against the unfair and biased treatment.
10. We will apply in Fair trading NSW if this doesn't get sorted.

Etihad Airways delay on a flight

On 14 december 2018 I booked a flight tp 6917 / ey 83 for 09h15 and was suposed to arrive in rome 13h05 and take another connection to lisbon 14h25 and arrive there 16h30. But was a delay abu dhbi/rome of 2 hours so this flight just arrived in rome 3pm and nobody was there to inform me what should I do or go, and I lost the flight.. The next one would be 4h30 later which means that I arrived in lisbon after 12am. So was a total delay of more than 7 hours..
Where can I complain about this situation?

Etihad Airways damaged baggage

Hi,

I'm SenthilMurugan Govindarajan and I travelled from New York To chennai via Abu dbahi My confirmation number was NLBQYD. I started on Friday, Jan 11 at 10PM and reached chennai around 3.45am on Jan 13th.
I noticed my new baggage which was bought in 2018 was torn. I'm a frequent flyer with etihad and I have never had issues with etihad. This is the first time i'm facing this issue. I would like to request for a refund for my checked in baggage damage.

Etihad Airways baggage handling

I travelled from US (Chicago) to India (Bangalore) via Abu dhabi with Etihad Airlines on 8thDec2018 (boarding) and 10th Dec2018(Landed at bangalore). When I reached home I observed with sleepy eyes (morning 3 AM) that one of my Check-in bag is torn and the Chassis was damaged. So I called their baggage service center at Bangalore, I dont know after how many attempts I got the person to answer the call.

Complaint#1: They say they are available 24 Hrs but no, call them after 11AM and before 3PM to receive a response.

Then, She asked me to email blrkkey@etihad.ae with necessary proofs. I sent my booking ref#, date and time of the travel and pictures of the torn bag.

Complaint#2: Found no response even after waiting for a week and then Sent many mails but couldn't get them to respond to not even one. Its been a month, but still None of the Etihad staff had contacted me.

This is the worst ever service I can Imagine.

Etihad Airways airfare and shuttle to dubai

If company provides a shuttle to dubai and advertises flights from dubai there should be a zero chance of having bureaucratic rigamarole which would prevent me from using this service. If one has purchased a ticket, which is current, whether a booking agent failed to arrange an additional transfer from the airport to dubai or not, a passenger must be provided with transportation. I will advise all my collegues and friends not to use Etihad. This is outrageous that someone buys a 450 euro ticket under a pretext that there is a link between the AD airport and Dubai. If it is not close to fraud it is definately a wrongful service.

Hi

I travelled from Melbourne, Australia to London on 31 December 2018. My flight number was EY 461 leaving Tullamarin Airport to Abu Dhabi at 2230. My seat number was 22A, a window seat. I was very uncomfortable and my feet started tingling. I had to stand up and walked to get some comfort.

I asked the flight attendants for an aisle seat so I can walk frequently. I explained to them that I was so uncomfortable and that my feet were tingling (there were three of them) and I spoke with all of them. One said to sit in a seat where there was only one window seat occupied. After five minutes another flight attendant came and asked me to move because the person seating in the window seat was mentally disable and that his Dad was coming to see him regularly from first class. I asked the attendant if he has paid for three seats. Obviously not. The reason was because the Dad was coming to keep an eye on him and because of his mental disability.

I asked if I can sit in the row with extra legroom as all those seats were empty. I was denied. Two flight attendants told me i have to pay US$150 to sit there. They were not interested with me be uncomfortable and that my feet were tingling. I also told them I could develop deep vein thrombosis. The fact that those seats were empty they still refused to honour me a seat unless I pay $150.

One of the attendants told me to walk around and see if any seats available in the economy class. One guy was sitting in a window seat with his leg sprawled on the other two seats. He told me he has bad leg and he cannot let me sit in the aisle seat. So one of the flight attendant asked him and he refused saying yet again he has bad leg. Did he pay for three seats I asked. The attendant said to me "don't be judgemental"

Further down towards the rear of the plane there were few more seats available in the middle row of the plane with only one person occupying each row of three seats. Each of them were lying down taking up the three seats. I asked the attendant to ask one of them to move and vacate a seat for me, the attendant refused saying they are not allowed to wake them up. So they also had paid for three seats each! What,
the attendants would not wake them up in case of turbulence or emergency to put on their seat belts?

I was told by the attendants that I should go back to my seat 22A. Etihad professes to be a 5 star flight and 5 star comfort. I was disgusted that I was not offered a seat when there were some vacant specially the ones with extra leg room or still the others were allowed to occupy three seats for the price of one. I was so uncomfortable all the way on 14 hours flight . The treatment I received form your people is deplorable and despicable. They refused to acknowledge how uncomfortable I was and because of that my feet was tingling. I paid almost $1500 one way fare to endure such harsh treatment. Obviously your staff are not trained to look after the comfort of passengers.

Etihad Airways missed flight-etihad informed

Myself and my partner were due to fly Melbourne -London 28th Nov 2018, Ticket no:

Unfortunately due to a family bereavement we had to book an alternative flight prior to this date. Our flight initial Ethiad flight was booked through Fly Far, we were unable to get through to them to cancel the flight (numerous call attempts were made).

Our next best option was to ring ethiad to give them the curtiosy of letting them know we would not be on our outbound flight on the 28th Nov 2018 and they could resell the tickets (x 2 economy)
We were not even looking for a refund or date change due to having booked another flight and extremely stressed with our family bereavement.

The customer service representative from Ethiad were grateful at the time and informed us it would not affect our return flight.
Today is Friday 04-Jan 2018, Our return flight is on Sunday 06 Jan 2019----2 DAYS TIME, from Dublin to Melbourne. We tried to book in today and were unsuccessful.
We phoned fly far who again did not answer, we phoned ethiad who informed us our return flight was cancelled due to missing our outbound flight.
Ethiad then informed me i would need to book another ticket as fee's for missing the flight and flight changed would be more than a new flight.

Our flight is on Sunday 06-Jan-2019 and We have now purchased 4 tickets for the same flight. Two of which are now null/void due to the airlines for-fit policy for missed outbound flight even though we informed them.

I am ahmed bucheery, gold member card holder [protected] and my wife fatema bucheery, silver member card holder [protected]. both of us are very loyal to etihad for many years but we both hardly benefited from the loyalty program

We were returning from london to bahrain on 24th dec 2018 on ey 18. between both of us we were entitled to 105 kg but we had 110 kg and to our surprise we were charged 99 sterling pounds! that was very strange and I asked if I could redeem some points but we not allowed.

Unfortunately, despite surprisingly being charged a big sum for a very small over weight, one of suitcases was not delivered until today 27th dec 2018 after many follow ups.

I have been frequently travelling on etihad business class, and the same for my other members of the family, but unfortunately I was never given a courtesy upgrade like what I get with gulf air and emirates from time to time!
