Gala Hotels booking cancellation without my consent and no refund statement im

14 december I ve booked a double room at Ibis Centro Milano with www.galahotels.com.
Same day the room was payed with my credit card 151, 60 €.
31 december, when I ve arrived in the hotel, the personal desk in the hotel don't have these reservation because It was cancelled.
We ve tried to call the Numbers of emergency but nobody answer the phone.
I must to take a new booking with a higher prive by these FRAUD.
I ve don't receive answer.

Gala Hotels refund

Refund was issued by the hotel in NY a months ago. Company is not answering emails and the phone. I keep calling and it goes to voicemail. When i spoke with them i got a lot of run around that there is a third party involved. I made the booking through them. Not my issue if there is another company involved. Hotel requested the refund from them but they are holding up my money.

Gala Hotels online hotel booking

I confirm the many testimonies (52) on the Complaints Board Website that Gala Hotels.com is a cybercriminal company to be absolutely avoided. During this New Year 2019 week-end, I have been stolen 813 euros by Gala Hotels.com. Their trick is to record a reservation for you in a hotel (in my case, it was a hotel in Amsterdam for three nights) with conditions "prepaid-nonrefundable", which means that your credit card is immediately charged. In order to attract you into their deal, they propose as a complement a so-called insurance (to be paid in addition) for the case you would need cancellation of the trip. They book for you the reservation via an intermediary webbooking company: in my case, I discovered later that it had been made via WebBeds-JacTravel-TotalStay. You can thus check with the hotel that the reservation has been made. However, as soon as they have received the money paid via your credit card, they ask Webbeds to cancel the reservation without informing you. You thus find no room reserved for you when you arrive at the hotel. When hotel desk managers ask Webbeds for the reason of the cancellation, the answer of WebBeds is "because of bankrupcy of their customer" (who was obviously secretely acting for GalaHotels) to whom they had sold the reservation. This is fully fake:
everybody can check that Gala Hotels.com is still active on the internet.

Back from my trip in Amsterdam, I discovered that, on diverse traveller forums, many customers have warned against Gala Hotels already since several years. This system based on a purely fraudulous chain is thus known since a long time but it seems that nobody has succeeded in (or has made real effort to) stopping it. It appears to me that the following companies deserve to be condemned as acomplices of Gala Hotels because they are continuing to gain money from Gala Hotels throughout the fraudulous chain:
- WebBeds-JacTravel-TotalStay certainly knows since long that Gala Hotels is using them in the chain. They should be able to prevent the system if they properly check the identity of the customers to which they sell hotel reservations.
- Credit Card companies should know since several year that some of their customers have been cheated by Gala Hotel. Since long, they should have blocked all transfers of money toward Gala Hotel.
- Google is still offering prime visibility to Gala Hotels on the websearh pages (everybody can check) because Gala Hotels is paying Google for obtaining that visibility. Can Google be allowed to promote any activity, even purely criminal, on the simple condition to be paid for visibility in Google search engines ?

Gala Hotels gala hotel received my money but no reservation

Its look like a nightmare in the end of the year which all hotel already fullybooked and when you do the check in then hotel said your reservation was cancelled by galahotels on 19th december 2018
I try to call for almost 7 hours noone pick up looks like the customer service fake.
Email also no answer and no online customer service like they said
This is scam and fake since the first time their website want to cheat people who wants to get into their trap. What i want now please give me my money back,
I've lost much more than you (galahotels) pay
Galahotels mention themself big company and already years but want my small money from cheat
So ashamed

Gala Hotels website fraud/scam

On December 1st, 2018, used Galahotels.com website to prepay for a hotel room in Las Vegas from December 21st through December 21st. My credit card was charged on December 1st as well.

Received what appeared to be at the time a legitimate room voucher for the hotel as well as an invoice.

However, when attempting to check in to the hotel on December 21st, was informed that the reservation had been cancelled by the booking service on December 18th. Hence, it was worthless.

Starting on December 21st until this very moment, I have attempted to call every Galahotels.com phone number listed in the voucher, invoice and website well over 25 times. Not once has a human being answered. This includes The Emergency Travel phone number!

On Dec 22, I opened up a Customer Service request on the Galahotels.!com website requesting a full refund. Based upon my inability to have a phone call answered, I was surprised to receive an automated response with a Case Number assigned.

Not surprisingly, have had no response since leading me to believe that this is just another delaying tactic used by a fraud service website.

Before using Galahotels.com, please search the Internet adding the terms Fraud or Scam. You will find mine is far from being an isolated case!

Gala Hotels travel agency

I have used the website WWW.GALAHOTELS.COM to reserve a hotel room using my credit card. I received a confirmation from them, however, when I arrived at the hotel there were no room booked for me. I found out through google search that many more people had similar cases with this website and no refund had happened. I was also not able to get my refund. Therefore, I would like to report this website as a fruad. How can this website continue working? this should be stopped! Please I would like the representitives of Galahotels to be tracked and executed.

Gala Hotels booking cancellation without my consent and no refund statement

I am one of the victim too. Booked a room and got confirmation on the 16 dec 2018 of my booking in travelodge in london. When I arrived, the hotel said that my booking was cancelled on the 19 dec 2018. The cancellation does not come from me and no email notification whatsoever from gala hotels. Unable to reach anyone through its uk contact number and only received automated email reply saying that they received and gave case number to my complain and said that work is in progress. But reading the review on tripadvisor, suggessted me automatic reply is what I will only receive. Hopefully my bank can help to reject its payment claim to my credit card. Do not book anything from gala hotels website!

Gala Hotels unauthorised charges for a booking that doesn't exist

[protected] Club Es Talaial, Majorca 25th May - 1st June 2109

This is a reference for a booking that didn't happen as my credit card was rejected. Tried it again using my friend's card... Mrs Rose Webb and that too was rejected so we found an alternative booking through another site. However, my friend then discovered that the sum of £447.97 had been taken from her account for a booking that doesn't exist.

I have responded to the email on numerous occasions requesting that this money be returned to my friend's account immediately and you fail to even acknowledge receipt. I would be most grateful if you could action this refund as soon as possible and at least let me know that you are at last doing something about this.

I wait to hear from you by return.

Gala Hotels fraude. scam. cobran de manera fraudulenta tras cancelar reserva, no devuelven el dinero

WWW.GALAHOTELS.COM están denunciados por mi parte y estoy pendiente de que me devuelvan el dinero que me cobraron sin permiso. Su modus operandi es el siguiente:
En agosto de 2018 reservé un hotel al lado del aeropuerto.
Me tuve que dar de alta en la web con los datos de mi tarjeta.
Me confirmaron la reserva.
A las pocas horas me envían otro correo diciéndome que hubo un problema con esa reserva y me ofrecen otro hotel al mismo precio. Ese hotel está a más de 30 km del aeropuerto, en medio de la nada y de categoría inferior al contratado.
Cancelo la reserva.
A los pocos días me aparece cargado en la cuenta el cobro del hotel que yo había cancelado.
Les reclamo.
Me envían un email diciendo que me devolverán el dinero en unos días.
Pasa un mes y las únicas noticias de ellos son publicidad además abusiva.
Están denunciados y he reclamado el dinero oficialmente.
Con estos correos de prueba desde el banco me han confirmado que me devolverán el dinero, pero quién me devuelve la pérdida de tiempo?

Gala Hotels refund of payment

I cancelled my reservation with you but you never returned my payment. Legal action will be taken if you do not return it immediately. I paid e179 and as per small print on my reservation mail, it was taking money for a very short period of time. E179 is a lot of money. This is not as I expected for a supposedly reliable site. I wish to receive my money and an apology mail for the stress caused

I have cancelled my reservation with the above but they have not returned my payment to my bank account. The small print stated that they would withdraw the payment to verify my bank card is working but never returned my payment. E179 is a lot of money and I would be grateful if you would investigate as to why the money wasn't returned. I do not want this to happen to anyone else

Gala Hotels booking with the confirmation number [protected]

Dear Sir/Madam,
Three weeks ago I made a reservation through your web site for the hotel Tivoli Oriente in Lisbon, and 3 days before my departing I got an email requesting that I send you an attached document with information about both my credit card and my ID document. As it was the first time I was asked to submit that kind of information for a reservation, and I can assure you that I've made hundres of them through internet, I decided to call your agency and talk to one of your agents, I did so and decided to cancel it. I was told that I was going to be charged for the three nights in Lisbon, but that in 2 or 3 days I would get also the refund. Two weeks have already passed and I havent got any news from you, neither a mail confirming my cancellation nor the refund you promised to be sent . I hope to get news from you soon, otherwise I'm afraid I will have to take legal actions against your agency. Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration. Yours faithfully

Gala Hotels unethical behavior

I gave it a chance and actually booked a hotel in Cuba for my family $1500 usd. I tried to stay in touch with them cause I cannot afford to go to the hotel and have no reservation at check in. Some people have gotten a text message two days prior reservation with a cancellation confirmation due to the hotel not been able to "accommodate" the requested rooms. THIS PAGE WILL NOT GUARANTEE YOUR STAY BECAUSE THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LAST MINUTE DEALS, THATS WHY YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CHECK YOUR BOOKING WITH THE HOTEL UNTIL 2-3 DAYS PRIOR! Thing is, that if there is no available rooms for these "deals" you are left with "Hotel could not provide the requested rooms". Customer service from this page is HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time calling them, emailing them etc. I still have a "pending" open case I did a month ago and jut today, after 3 weeks I got a response from the Facebook page. Im giving them 21 business days for me to get my money back or otherwise I will go to my bank and report this as a fraud. Again. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PAGE!

Gala Hotels reservation

I made a reservation to spend my honeymoon in Cuba this company charged my credit card and I never get my confirmation I called the hotel and they sayed nothing was reserved under my name . I'm wondering how those issues are posible somebody has to report this company I also read a lot of comments on internet reporting this company and forget when you try to reach them by the phone nobody answer

Gala Hotels refund not received from gala hotels even though confirmed they would do so with in 3 days and it has been 25 days.

I had booked a room through www.galahotels.com for Pattaya, Thailand. I had received a confirmed booking but the next day they sent an email saying that they are unable to get me the same property which I had paid fully for.
I, then asked for a full refund to which they agreed by emails.
It is almost one month, emailed them no. Of times, there is no reply and the customer service is non responsive.

Please help me out. How do I contact them and get my money back?

I had kind of the same experience. In June and July, 2018 I booked a few hotels in Cuba, using Galahotels. Then, because my itinerary changed I canceled the bookings, still within the term that was supposed to be free of charge, confirmed with the customer service per written if indeed it was so and when the money would be refunded, to which the answered that withing max.5 business days I would have the money credited on my account. It is now end of August, the money was never refunded! I've contacted the customer service per email several times since but never even got a reply. I've decided to contact my bank and try to cancel the payment. I suggest you do the same!

Gala Hotels Fraud

I found this company via Kayak and was brought to their website. They claimed to have rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando and I booked it. The day before I traveled, I contacted the Hard Rock to confirm my booking, but they said they never received anything. I called every number listed on Gala Hotels web site, contacted them via their customer service link and emailed them. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.

I don't know how they are able to operate this way, but DO NOT USE THEM.

Gala Hotels accommodation

They've stolen my money.
Its been weeks now since they issued thier 'refund' to my account (which never came), they don't respond to my emails, nothing. These thieves are located in 'ISTANBUL' yet pose as an english nationality website.
These thieves confirmed my booking, then said it wasnt confirmed an hour later and they were going to 'Relocate me' to a run down [censored] hole miles away from where I placed the hotel booking for THE SAME PRICE, charging me obsurd fees comparitively 4 star accomodation to what appears to be 1/2 star AT BEST!
See my attachments for this atrocity, obviously I told them NO I DO NOT WANT YOUR REPLACEMENT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK, to which they came up with a bogus reason as to how long it would take being about a week to refund my money, its been almost a month now if not a whole month and im yet to see any money returned!

DO NOT GO WITH THESE GUYS IF YOU DONT WANT THEM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND RIP YOU OFF.
Currently im $550 in the hole for accommodation they couldn't supply and have no intention of returning.

Gala Hotels refund for cancellation not received. gala hotels are a fraud!!! do not use them

I have been trying to call them for a whole week regarding the money they owe me for a cancellation but there is no answer and all the options lead to nothing! they took 2 payments form my account on 31st July:

Booking ref [protected] - £551.00
Booking ref [protected] - £499.00

I then cancelled one of the bookings - ref [protected] and they sent me a confirnamtion email but they have not refunded the money to my account? They have taken £1050 from my account but just send me an email telling me there was no charge for the cancellation when you have already taken the money from my account. Basically this is theft and I will be getting in touch with the authorities and leaving bad reviews wherever I can and I will be speaking to the hotel concerned to let them know they have stolen money from me. Their customer service is appalling and the whole business is a fraud

Gala Hotels they are fraud

On 30 july I booked hotel with breakfast in paris through galahotels.com. But they sent me email about changing hotel w/o breakfast. I did not agree. They canck my booking told me we will refund your whole money. But still now they did not refund. I claimed my credit card company will talk to them.
I am calling them on there uk tel number, spain tel no.. Even turkey tel no but they did not atend my call.

Gala Hotels booking hotel

Terrible service! This company cancelled my booking last minute without previous notice!

I tried to call them to explain I was at the hotel I booked in Tallinn via their webpage since the receptionist couldn't find my booking number in their system. It took at least 30 minutes of trying different numbers but at the end the US "office" answered my call and just then they sent me a refund email after I confirmed my booking number. They said I will get a refund within 21 business days. Let's see if that happens.

I strongly recommend not to use thie company for booking hotels. I hope this will save you some trouble.

Gala Hotels unresponsive on refund for canceled hotel room

We canceled a $1300 reservation for two rooms x two nights in Cuba through the galawebsite (gala hotels.com) in December 2016. in October 2017 Gala claims the refunded the amount, note as much as 10 months later despite the 21 day refund policy, However the Claimed refund went to a chase credit card that at that point had been canceled. We received confirmation from a chase that the funds had been returned to Galahotels.. Despite a douzens of emails trying to ask Gala to refund to our account we have not been successful. Their complaints website seems to be run by an army of people that all claim the complaint is closed within about twenty minutes of making it. They all claim that the funds have been refunded and to check the credit card. They either do not read the message or it is on purpose. You cannot call them as the phone box to speak to an operator seems to have been disactivsted, at least on the UK line but I suspect it's the same for the rest. I finally after pleading several times to get a real email (you cannot respond to the comPlaints email response and have to make a new claim that is every time responded by a new. person. By now I suspect they do not exist as a real person ). This is what I received :
