razor
I am disgusted with Gillette I have always used your products untill now I have just bought your so called new razor blade you have gone back to using 2 blades and a guard with this new razor it was on at half price at wilko
When I got home I was disgusted to find out that you have used the same handle as you have used before this is wrong as you can't get the blades so I paid almost £5 for 1 blade as I have got more than one of the same handle not fair and I ham going to change to another brand adsulutly disgusted looking forward to the excuse you give me and I will be putting this matter on social media very soon .
your new ideology
You can count me as MAN, that no longer will support your company or any of your products. How stupid can a corporation be to take the customer that made your product popular, and shame us for being men. Good luck with that. Their are 2 young fellows trying to develop a new razor company out of Germany. Hopefully they will take your business and you can now deal with the dying political correct liberals you call your customer. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
I don't understand your new advertising which now tells me at 62 years you don't like me being a man, and I need to change my ways. I have a great idea you need go F yourself, and I will now buy razors from any company other than the Political Razor Company formally none a Gillett. Your marketing needs major help I spent 30 years in marketing and sales first rule of thumb is Don't piss off the customer that made your business. Your company forgot where they came from. You need consulting give me a holler, I can help you find yourself again.
Toxic men behavior ad
I've used nearly all of your products (razors, shave cream, body wash...) for years. No more. I've switched to buying razors via club and have replaced all other products with ones, I made sure were not made by Gillette (my wife and daughter's Venus products too)
Your recent ad is insulting to good men everywhere. To take a complex set of issues from subtle discrimination to bullying... And equate it to simple cultural norms that can be changed with a bit of awareness is simplistic and ignorant.
Gillette has fallen into or is exploiting a recent wave of man-hating feminist popularity that seeks to demonize all men. The real goal of these movements is not to empower women, but to demean men and make them ashamed for natural behaviors. Not talking about violence or discrimination — these are bad.
Gillette, why stop at just all men. How about running an ad regarding black men and the 10x rate of violence, child abandonment and drug use among this group of men. Yes, that would be stupid too.
Goodbye, Gillette. I will be sharing this with the bad men at work (I'm in the race car industry), friends, neighbors...
help to understand why you are attacking men
Dear Sirs I'm writing to you to complain about your TV ad. I have been a customer of yours from 1983 when I started to shave. My father used your blades so I did as well, I also introduced it to me kids to use. Unfortunately once I saw your ad which is an attacks men and a political statement. So on these grounds me my father and my kids will not be using your blades anymore. A big company like you won't miss our money however I believe it's more than that as your company was part of our lives and our day to day life but No more. Thank you for supplying us with some good shavers but 30 seconds online I found another razer to buy from.
Good luck for the future under happy customer

recent ad
Please reconsider your ill-conceived attack on men. It is offensive and a lie. Why should anyone believe anything you purport to be fact or even helpful information in your ads when you've ok'd something as egregious as this propaganda filled pseudo commercial?
I've been using your products for decades. I have now purchased an electric razor just so I don't have to patronize your company.
Silly, vapid, narcissistic, condescending, stupid. And just plain bad business.
your recent ridiculous anti-man commercial
Who on earth at Gillette thought it was a good idea for a razor company to enter politics and start bashing men with a stereotype that's not true? I am a 40 year old woman who is utterly disgusted with this recent commercial. How dare you jump on board with all the other lunatics out there and stereotype all men as pigs and toxic and unable to control themselves around women? Did you actually think everyday American men women would agree with this nonsense? Exactly who do you have working at Gillette who acts like this and causes you to think that all men are like this? I am offended at this blatant, pathetic attempt to portray all men as an enemy of all mankind. You, and every other person who believes in "toxic masculinity" is WRONG and you were WRONG to produce a lame commercial such as you did. I can assure you that I will no longer be buying any Gillette product whatsoever. An apology to all men would be appropriate at this time.
anti-male gillette commercial
So disgusted with your commercial. Very cheap shot at your so-called valued customers.
So, this is what I am going to do. Use up the Crest and Mach blades and then I'm off to Colgate Palmolive, for good.
Don't own your stock, so I won't share in your decline.
Did print a copy of all P&G products and have it next to me so I can go to "Last Channel" when one comes on.
By the way, who approved this commercial, are you all high in Cinncy?
So long,
Bill Marquardt
your advertising for gillette razors and p&g products
Why can't you just stick to telling me why I should buy your razors over the many choices I have to purchase them vs your ridiculous virtue signalling commercial? Leave the real men in our culture alone, and not those pathetic emasculated males you show on your stupid commercial! Real men DON'T bully, beat up others, or do any of those hateful things and are painting those who don't with your broad brush.
In fact, men are frequently in roles that are opposite of what you project.
Who is monitoring what your ad agency is doing? Who is the ad agency - that would be great to know? In what world did you think a commercial like this would help your sales? I feel sorry for my grandsons who have to live in a world populated by your ilk.
Oh, and by the way, my husband, a REAL man, uses an electric razor - I use/buy the razors in our home, and will absolutely NEVER purchase a Gillette product again. Sad it's associated with P&G - I'm going to check what other products they have as well to see what other purchases I can do elsewhere.
Shame on you - I feel sorry for your emasculated male employees who need to take your crap.
unfortunate commercial
Been a Gillette customer for 30 years, and have introduced my sons to your product recently. Due to your recent advertising which broad stroked most men as being stupid, inconsiderate and aggressive...I AM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER AFTER 30 YEARS OF USING YOUR PRODUCT. My sons, and my entire circle of friends (including females) are moving to Dollar Shave Club and I am encouraging others to do so. How DARE you single out men when both men and women do EXACTLY the same bad things you show on the commercial.
be the best advertisement
Mr Kraft, do you think your late wife would approve of that divisive, man-hating ad you let your company's advertising department sign off on? Don't you understand, the creators of this type of toxic drivel are trying to incite? Nothing about FAMILY values is portrayed here, nothing about FATHERING is portrayed here . Just because the director of this ad is a man-hating extremist, whose warped mind views all men in a similar light as the small minority of boneheads we know are out there, does not make it so. An ad supposedly championing "being the best" has sunken to GILLETTE being the absolute DUMBEST...Top notch work, Bob, Patrick, et al
gillette products (and procter and gamble)
Checked this morning when I went to shave -- it was a Gillette razor, and have another couple in luggage for the trip I am on. I'm sure someone is keeping track of how many customers you are losing given your recent commercial, so I thought I should let you know you have lost me as a customer, and won't be coming back. Not sure what product I will use to replace yours, but at the moment I'm leaning towards Harry's.
gillette razors
Dear Gillette [censored], My husband is not toxic. My father was not toxic. NONE of the men (or boys) I know are toxic. YOU ARE TOXIC, COMPLETELY POISONOUS TO ALL OF US! I will check my cabinets to see if I own anything (Venus razors?) by your filthy company and NEVER AGAIN BUY ONE OF YOUR [censored]ING PRODUCTS. Your company is DISGUSTING AND MAY YOU ROT IN BANKRUPTCY.
Sincerely NOT yours,
Annie Ok
'believe' ad is offensive
This ad is an insult to all the decent men on the planet. It is nothing but a piece of PC/feminist propaganda and even contains mild racism (the black person is always the good guy and white is always the bad, when you could easily have made them equal)
If you think this a progressive way of increasing sales then it has clearly backfired. You have just ensured that I won't be buying your products again. Well done.
commercials
You have gotten me and my two sons(and any influence with many friends and family )to SWITCH to any other brand!
- faster than new coke debacle-
I can't wait to see the HUGE increase in stock price with this UNBELIEVABLE ad for sales increase.
GOOD Luck !
I believe your company REALLY SHOULD get out of the social engineering club - leave the pajama
Boys and professional men haters to college, and media.ect.
commercial
You nutless [censored]. I will never use your products again and neither will any man that I know. You might as well switch to womens products because I think you are out of the men's department. Just pathetic the way you perceive men. Every man who works for you must be nutless also. I can't imagine working there with that kind of mentality towards men. GO AWAY DON'T COME BACK. You are anti men.
commercial
To whom it may concern:
You should be ashamed of yourself. I am technically in the demographic that is not your target audience. I am 40 years old and am white. I have also used your razors since I was able to shave. Your commercial portrayed men as sexist and this is offensive. I love my wife and treat her as my best friend. I also am one of the guys. There is nothing wrong with this. My wife was attracted to me because she said that I am sweet, funny, and masculine. This is not a bad thing, but a balanced factor in a healthy relationship. I don't want my wife to be less feminine and not be more emotional than me. This is what makes her great. Moreover, it is what helps our relationship great. There is a balance between my "masculinity" and her "femininity". Gilette/P&G should stop projecting their generalities onto us. This is by definition sexist and bigoted. Yes, the commercial shows sexist WHITE men. When the men be feminine, it shows them in other races. How racist can you be? I am white, and I know my friends who are black are equally offended. You should immediately bring a stop to this commercial. Also, I have spent thousands of dollars on your products and I will be taking my business elsewhere. How beautiful is capitalism? I think it is funny that the advertisement on the top of this customer complaint page is Harry's. I believe they will get my business from now on. I am done with this unhealthy relationship with your products. What a shave (shame).
Sincerely,
Joel

Who fact checks for you before you make these commercials...Please note I am 1 of probably 30 ladies who are on the volunteer fire dept in our county and I can assure you after all the training we do...there is absolutely NOTHING in our requirements that shaving everyday is part of the job... ! Really now you have no eyes or ears? Your commercial is misleading, are you saying only the gender that shaves everyday is capable of being a firefighter?
after watching your advert on .. male aggression .. which has nothing to do with your products, I am no longer a customer
Not happy with Gillette! You show Women unable to defend themselves and men the root of all problems. Get out of the shame game! I've chucked all my Gillette products!
toxic masculinity?
Your advertised position on manhood is misguided, highhanded, self-righteous, and very toxic to my manhood. Therefore, I have decided to cease all use of Gillette products. Furthermore I will have to evaluate my use of Proctor and Gamble products and may cease using them as well. You have just lost a long-time customer. Just thought you would like to know.
toxic masculinity ad
Perhaps Gillette should focus on developing, marketing and selling shaving products and NOT on "virtue signaling" and insulting a very large segment of its customer base.
One would think that Gillette would know its customers better than to do this!
May I suggest that Gillette pull this offensive ad, fire its ad agency, and the marketing director or VP that approved this ad.
I've been thinking for more than a decade that men need to organize of the basis of gender as women have done and exert our economic power on companies who engage in insulting conduct such as this.
I for one will NEVER purchase another Gillette product again! Many competing high quality options are available and at lower cost.
Procter & Gamble should focus on advertising their products. I found the commercial offensive and ridiculous. I am returning my gillette and blades today. Never again. Leave politics to the politicians where it belongs. That's more than enough.
Are you sure your add company is not working for the competition. Congratulations on offending the lion's share of your customer base. Harry's Razors, here I come!
Maybe someday when your SVP of Marketing grows up and starts wearing big boy pants he/she will understand just what a huge cluster this commercial was. I'm sure it will go down as one of the worst marketing decisions in history!
See the egard watch company's new ad in response to Gillette's ad on youtube.
recent ad
Your recent ad casts white men in a negative light and non white men in a positive light. Consequently, your ad can be described as racist or race baiting. It is mystifying why you would want to alienate the very market you're trying to sell to. I, for one, won't be buying Gillette products until you have fixed the problem. The idea that a shaving ad should try to moralise and prescribe behaviour is bizarre.
commercial
To whom it may concern,
Your most recent commercial attacking males was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Truly insulting to both men and women. As a Female with a Father, Husband, Sons, Nephews, Uncles... You have done them all a disservice by forcing an ugly agenda that frankly none of us are buying. This vile excuse of a commercial was an insult to the family unit and humanity! SHAME.
