Hair Cuttery Complaining

Today I had an appointment and showed up at the appointment time
I was asked to come back in an hour and I did so and still waited an extra 15 minutes but it looks like the hair style would take an extra 20 to 25 minutes. This means that I would have waited 2 1/2 hours for my original appointment
Letting you know that the prices are very high and I give tips for their services.
I didn't like the fact that the Head, hairstylist which have done this on numerous occasions but never 2 1/2 late just 15 to 20 minutes late
Her nonchalant attitude and unprofessional services matter to me. It doesn't matter if you can do a better job and have all those skills but not providing excellent services to the customers eventually, I mean eventually people will see it for themselves and go somewhere and pay for the services they deserve be it high or low fee. This is Owings Mills Foundry location
my reason for putting this information out there because this is not the first time or the second time
This is a continuing services being unprofessional and nonchalant attitude by the head hairstyle of the company. It would have been nice to call or text and make it known that she needed to make a time change. Hairstyle do not take into consideration that you have other appointments, things to do ect. This is the purpose for making an appointment. Based on what she shared this could have been avoided
Yes, I found someone to do my hair and they do an excellent job and I saved $45.00
Thank you haircutty keep the good work up. I am pretty sure that I am not the only one feeling this way. I closed sign will be going up soon if you keep people waiting 2 1/2 hours

Hair Cuttery Haircut/Hair treatment

I had the absolute worst experience at a salon ever. First of all the stylist kept boasting about her years of experience and how she is so good at what she does. Took her time in providing "consultation" while figuring out the matching color for my hair. After spending a long time preparing the color, she came back and colored my hair black. I had spent the last 3 years with another stylist, to take that black color out of my hair. When I explained that to her, she called her manager, who was no help either. She said that they would have to lighten the color but that is a different service and I will have to pay for that extra. On top of this, when she blow dry my hair, she just messed them up completely. Typically speaking if the hair is blow dried properly, you dont need a straightener to straighten the hair. When she messed up the hair, she then again offered to straighten it with the straightener, but only if I pay her another hefty amount. Besides all of these issues, she cut half of my hair before coloring, and said the rest she will cut after she finishes the color. Since she made such a mess, she didnt even cut the rest of my hair. The manager was extremely rude and obnoxious and I was treated in the absolute worst way possible.

Hair Cuttery Hair dye job

I ordered a balayage package that included hair dye, partial balayage, cut, and blow dry/ style. I had this done on May 16th at 2:45 at the Hair Cuttery in Rockledge, Florida.
My stylist was very nice, but overall the hair dye was a bit sloppy. My hair is naturally dark brown so she covered my roots, including gray, and added a caramel color balayage. It turned out nice, except the dark dye stained my skin on my forehead in several spots and I had to try to cover it up with makeup.
1 week into my hair bring done, I noticed the gray coming in. I was surprised because I use sulfate free color protecting shampoo and I only wash my hair twice a week. Week 2 my gray was really coming in and the toner used for the balayage was gone. My highlights starting looking brassy.
So here I am on week 3 and I actually need to get my hair done again.
I'm extremely upset over this. I paid $180 for a professional job and my color didn't even last 2 weeks. As I mentioned, I only wash my hair 2 times a week. That means after 4 washings, the dye on my roots and the toner was just about gone. I could of bought a box hair dye for $7 and stuff to highlight my own hair with toner for less than $15 at Sally's beauty supply.
I feel like I blew close to $200 and have nothing to sure for it.
I don't know what products this hair Cuttery uses, but obviously it's very poor quality.
I am beyond disappointed.

Desired outcome: Credit or voucher to get my roots colored and toner to cover the orange brass.

Hair Cuttery Rise in costs of hair cuts

When I went to get a haircut a few months ago, my regular stylist told me the price for just a cut went from $21 to $26. A $5 increase. That's crazy. I can understand one or two dollars but five? She said it was because of the PPE but that does not warrant $5 difference per person. What a ripoff. I am going to start trimming my own hair from now on. HC is getting way too expensive now. I just wonder will they go back to their original prices when the pandemic is over or keep it high and make a killing in profits after this is over?

Hair Cuttery Wash and Blow out

I have been a steady customer at this location for 5 years. Since the pandemic this salon has different prices for the same service. Today was it for me. I had the usual wash and blow out and was charged $39.00 instead of $25.00. The manager Debbie got very defensive and said my hair was difficult and the girls are on Commision. My hair has not changed and I have a keratin smoother in my hair. I was so furious I said I will never be back. We agreed upon $30 and suddenly she said she won't ever charge me more. I can't trust a shop like this

Hair Cuttery Employee Named Patricia who often goes by Pat or Patti

I have been going to this hair cuttery loyally for 4 years now every two weeks and I am very confused about the disrespectful, insulting, and outright rude behavior that I just received this evening from an employee named patricia who goes by pat or patti! she only did my hair once or twice a while back this year or last year when she just started as a new stylist working here. I'm still very confused with what just went on inside of there this evening but I guess she woke up this morning and thought she knew everything about natural hair and told me that the products I use on my hair were too cheap and that they are not professional products and acted as if she was too good to touch my hair unless she used the products she wanted to use on my hair. I kindly explained to pat that the products that she used on my hair dried out my scalp and made it a little itchy. She then replied with a silly response saying that the products don't touch my scalp, but when it's being used when it is clearly being applied to both the scalp and hair when you massage it in so I don't think she really knows what she is talking about because if she did she wouldn't have responding that way. After she shampooed my hair she refused to condition my hair with the conditioner of my choice and told me that she will not condition my hair unless she uses what she wants and told me that she is the professional and I need to take her advice and that it is very insulting for a client to not heed her advice when she is the one who paid a thousand dollars to go to beauty school so she is the professional. She then insulted my intelligence and said that she knows that I probably think that I know what is better for my hair but I don't and she is the professional so she knows. Since she refused to condition my hair I then told her that she can just dry me off then. When we got back to her chair she asked me what do I want done to my hair and I told her that she can just blow dry it out since she was giving me such a hard time, I no longer wanted the roller set. She then refused to blow dry my wet hair until she conditions it with the conditioner of her choice and at that point I had, had enough of her rudeness towards me and I got up out of her chair and headed for the door and the employee delphia had to jump in to get here to shut her mouth. She was going to let me walk out of the hair cuttery with my hair dripping water outside into 50 degree weather. The employee ciera who has done my hair plenty of times was professional enough to offer to go ahead and blow dry my hair for me instead of having me walk outside in the cold air with my hair wet! once again I am very confused about such a bad customer service I experienced this evening especially from a stylist who has only done my hair about twice! she was very full of herself this evening and im not to sure who made her queen of hair cuttery but the way she acted is certainly not the way to show your a professional stylist. She needs to be corrected and humbled immediately or this will be the last time I will go to hair cuttery!

Hair Cuttery Double booking

On July 7, I booked an appointment for a hair cut June 16 at noon. As
you can see by the attached document from your company, this was a confirmed appointment. Upon arrival, I was told by the manager that I was not in the computer and there was another man waiting who had the same appointment and they took him instead of me. This is not the first time that this has happened to me at this location. I was told by the manager that you were changing computers and there were difficulties. She told me that she had other customers with similar confirmations and she did not understand where they were coming from. I suggested that as the manager of this location perhaps she should investigate how and why
customers were receiving these. The bottom line is they took the other customer instead of me and the best they could do is give me an appointment next Thursday. If it wasn't for my hair stylist, Mickey Kirk, I would have left Hair Cuttery a long time ago. I realize these are trying
times but I feel I should be compensated in some way.

Hair Cuttery Rude/Unprofessional

3/7/20 I had an hair appt with Jen, @ 1pm by the time she called me back it was close to 1:30pm, and I understood because it was a Saturday and I knew she was busy, this is not my first visit to The Hair Cuttery, I followed a hair dresser name Cindy from the local JC Penny in Vineland, I have been a loyal customer of Cindy and the Hair Cuttery for over 5 years, unfortunately Cindy was not working and this brings me back to Jen, I was called back and she asked me what I needed done to my hair, I always bring in a picture so that the color is shown and in my case it was red hair with blonde high lights, with the request to have my hight lights a bit lighter to add contrast, she sat in the rinse chair and said, No! I dont think this is going to work, I was taken back at first and then I asked Why? She had no answer except that she said, indirectly, Aren't you Cindy client? I said, yes So? She got up and said, I can put a dark brown to cover your gray, but that's all I can do, at that moment I was shocked and in awe do to she became loud and now every focus was on me now and I felt really embarrassed. So I said, quickly ok then put the brown in and I can try to fix it later, then she became exasperated and said, I dont think that will work either, so I said quickly to my friend who came with me to my hair appt, What am I going to do and a man who was waiting in the chair next to the seat Jen was sitting at replied, get the clippers! Instead of her ignoring the mans sly comment she began to laugh, at that point I didnt know what to do, she walked away to the back of the salon only to return with her manager Angie and her manager said boldly, your hair is a mess and the only thing you can do is have your hair stripped and we can start new, I said, Okay at this point it was Angie, Jen and including the rude man, staring at me until i said, okay let's strip it, Angie looked at Jen and said, do you have time and Jen replied, No I dont, I didnt say a word, I retrieved my belongings and Jen was behind me, as i got to the front desk she said, you will need a appointment, and i thought you took me half hour later then my appointment and i understood, and now she refuses to do my hair and belityle me in the process along with her co worker manager. I was completely embarrassed and denied service, and treated rude with contempt for no reason, I managed to compose myself and reschedule my appointment but, I will not put myself to be ridiculed again, I dont know if writing this at 1:06am in the morning is going to change anything but I felt it was the best thing to do then engaging in any argument with persons that not only are not proffesional but have no feelings of remorse of what they did to me.

Hair Cuttery very bad haircut

I went to the hair cuttery in rehoboth beach delaware and asked for long layers. What I got was the side of my hair with a chunk taken out. When I told Chris, the gentleman who cut my hair, he said at least 5 times that was exactly what I asked for. I have put in 2 complaints with the online website of hair cuttery but they have not responded to either complaint. This happened on 2/4/20 at 9 am. The case number for the complaints were [protected] and [protected]. They charged me 28 + 13 for my hair being long and yet the amount they were taking off was supposed to just be 2 inches with long layers.

Hair Cuttery manager

The new manager is rude and snoops around all day long. She does not perform hair services so she is "after" stylist's tips, behavior and way of conducting their businesses.

Some customers have been going here for decades and never experienced this kind of mistreatments. some are not returning. She sits around the cashier all day long and only checks how much money the stylists put on their pockets as tips! She made fun of a customer who could not check in because the machine' malfunctioning! She applauded near her when she was able to do it! She pockets commission of stylists' customers when they buy products!

Hair Cuttery highlights

Highlights not properly done. Just painted on and no spacing out color in between. Just one huge block of orange color. Color is disgusting. Went back and they put toner on and 2 days later that washed out leaving my hair back to orange. Manager and corporate refuse to respond back to me. I emailed them multiple times to refund me so I can get properly fixed. I will keep posting everywhere bc this is horrible service to leave someone like this and refuse to answer a paying customer.

Hair Cuttery haircut

This is the worst establishment and the worst haircut of my life.
Despite telling "lex" that my last haircut was too short, and "not to cut the top at all", he butchered my hair, cutting it very short and did a crewcut.
I was horrified when I saw myself in the mirror.
He does not listen!

I demand a refund of $20.
I will chargeback my credit card.

You are a [censored] and missing the point. Do you work for a braindead company, like Hair Cuttery?
Has NOTHING to do with affordability, Redrea, a novice colorist at Hair Cuttery.

It has to do with CUSTOMER SERVICE and lack thereof.
The Hair Cuttery ignores customer requests because it is a cheap, low rent, classless business.

You should consider a job with them; would suit you well.

I just had the worst experience at this location. My daughter's graduation is tomorrow. We get there at 4pm and was totally fine with coming back at the next available appointment at 7pm. I dropped my daughter off at 7pm and she sat there for 40 minutes. No one called me or even acknowledge her sitting there. Then the stylist begins to tell me she had highlights to do. We waited 3 hours for an appointment and an additional 40 minutes with no courtesy what so ever. Now it's 8pm and there's no where else open for her to get her hair done. I was so upset I couldn't stay because I was going to lose it. The absolute worse customer service. Never ever going back. You don't treat customers like that!

Hair Cuttery refund

Hello... Last week on 10.7.19 I purchased it's a 10 hair potion and mentioned to sales associate concern about retuning if needed. She specifically said to hang on to my receipt, no problem.in the meantime I found it for $8.00 cheaper, thus on monday this week I decided to return it. As the sales person was getting ready to refund me she informed me that: "oh you paid cash, sorry you can't have cash back." I was astounded and very upset. The salesgirl who sold it, jessi #22606, never explained to me that it would be a store credit when paying cash. She should have explained your policy when we discussed a refund. If I had known I would have used my credit card.
Now I am stuck with a store credit that I do not want: to keep track of, will probably not use at all (your prices are high), etc. It is not how I paid and it was jessi's responsibility to explain your policy at time of purchase. It is her fault as a representative of hair cuttery. Returning was brought up at time of purchase. I would like my cash back. Receipts below.

Hair Cuttery vp full foil chemical service

I have been coming to this hair cuttery for a good year. M's Ladonna has done my hair, l had a chemical foil done and it came out aweful and she had fixed it for me. I had explained that l really wanted to let my hair go gray that l was done with dyeing my hair l really thought l had communicated that to her and when l finally got the nerve up to do it. My hair was no Where near the color l wanted. I did go back someone else tend to my hair but still l wasn't happy with the color or how l was passed off to an other person to finish the process. I have spoken to Ms.Ladonna and she said she has to reddo the process and that l would have to repay. Her foiling process and customer service is fabulous but the color is very bad. I just wanted silver or gray if that couldn't be done with one application l wish l would have been told l would have golden brown lowlights.

Hair Cuttery haircut

I, m a regular customer in this location, all my hair cuts and my son's hair cuts are done here, i was always happy with them being patient with my kid since i know it's harder with a child under 3 years old, so i always make sure to give a good tip. but this last Friday when i went their it was a new lady I've never seeing there before i was asked if i want someone in particular but i amused their all good so i never pick i just let whatever is available do the job. my kid this time was very good just playing with the phone without moving, but this lady didn't seem to have experience with kids, very slow, she just massed up, and kept asking me if that's it, telling every customer walks at the door that she will be with them in a second when my son's hair was not even half way done. then she just stoped when i told her that's not wright, she called an other stylist to fix it, that other lady seems to have more knowledge about cutting kids hair but she was trying to be quick to get anther customers, she just fix it a little bit, then she stopped when i told her to make it a little bit shorter she said once it dries its going to shrink . now my son's hair looks ridicules.
I need them to fix my son's hair, and train your stylist to focus on the Clint between their hands before trying to get others.

HAIR SLAUGHTERY ... ONE STYLIST TO BUSY TO LISTEN AS I INSISTED TO OTHER STYLIST WHAT I HAD THERE BEFORE. waxed only one side face partial like fraid to touch people( I did shower sniff sniff) SO THE IM ASSUMING LEAD STYLIST WAS MORE worried MAN TELLING HER HIS ENTIRE ASSESTS A MARRIED MAN.. TO MUCH INFO.. horrible experience all good ones missing in action? Hair Cuttery haircut

My haircut was done with electric clippers while standing up. I never sat in the chair. I got no shampoo, she cut my hair dry, with an uneven part that made my hair turn out uneven and choppy. One side is noticble shorter than the other. It took less than 4 minutes. I thought maybe she was doing some preliminary cutting, and that after she would shampoo and go back through and fine trim, but she just said we were done.

I was totally shocked, and i'm not happy with my haircut and it certainly was not discussed before hand. When she told me she was done and wanted me to go to the counter and pay I was completely shocked. @ Annapolis town center hair cuttery

Hair Cuttery wash and curl

On February 28th about 10:10am I went to check in on line; first thing then when I got to the Salon I was told I wasn't checked in; that it must have been the other location. I know where I checked in first of all I put the zip code in and selected the correct location I wanted. Which was at 659 Middletown Warwick Rd. After telling them what service I wanted I was told to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly two workers went to the back of the salon for a few minutes and upon returning the male employee told me that no one that is here this morning feels comfortable doing my hair. Then was told they don't want me to be upset with my hair being done. I went to cosmetology school and I know theory and practical is taught in school. I was very offended and felt degraded because there was another customers there getting her hair done ., I have used your salons for ten plus years and never been told this or was made to feel like something was to matter with my hair. I am very upset by this and feel that in this day and age that customer services should be a top priority for any business but to make a customer of ten plus years feel the way I did is outrageous.

Hair Cuttery my haircut and color and highlights

I went to hair Cuttery on Wednesday January 23 2018 I seen Lynda we both said cut my hair to shoulder length will she didn't it was cut above my neck plus it look like she cut straight across I can't style my hair also when she did my eyebrows she didn't finish my right side of my eye brows I had to do it! 25.00 went down the drain and on Thursday January 24 I meet Lynda at Urbana hair Cuttery so she can color and highlight my hair when she was putting the hair color in my hair she also put it on my face I had to wash my face when I got home cause she didn't plus she didn't get all the hair color out of my hair in the back the smell gave me a headache for days I got sick from it 96.00 dollars went down the drain plus she told me she was going to give me coupons but she didn't

Hair Cuttery root color touch up

I made an appointment for a root touchup; which I have done before at this location. Sherman Street, Evanston, December 28th 4:30. I had researched prices; Hair Cuttery is reasonable. $52 is the posted price and what I can afford.
The technician informed me as she was working that the back of my head had about an inch of gray roots... which makes sense; in between salon visits I do the touchups myself and can't reach the back.

When she checked me out at the register, my total was $72. Surprised; I asked her why the increase in price from $52; which was clearly advertised on the board. This was a full TWENTY DOLLARS MORE.

Her answers included:

- I had "a lot" of hair

- I had "at least two inches of growth". While in the chair, she said I had one inch

- Corporate had "raised the prices" (really? why weren't they posted?)

- She had to use "two bottles" of formula on me (at no point did she leave me to mix another bottle)

- After I repeatedly pointed out that NOWHERE was this "price hike" posted, that NOWHERE did it say "may charge more for"a lot"of hair", she said; OK... I will just charge you the $52 this time.

I feel like this price hike was completely arbitrary; I had gotten the EXACT SAME SERVICE with the EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF HAIR for the published price on a previous visit. I felt I was being taken advantage of. I left with a very negative feeling about my experience. I will not return. Prices cannot be changed at the last second because the technician felt she had to work a little harder to provide the advertised service.

This is not good business. This is not a good employee.

Hair Cuttery haircut shampoo blow dry

The Hair Cuttery on 1001 75th ST. Suite 101 Woodridge Did a wonderful job on my hair. The hair cuttery on 63rd ST. did A terrible job and I go way out of my way to go to the other Hair Cuttery if any more problems arise I will go else where entirely. The person you have answering the phone first called herself Bria then Victoria. NIce job of not fooling me!
