Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Collection call

On Friday 4/13/23 I received a call but no message. When I checked there number on Google it came up as HRRG. I called back and the agent said her name was "Jennifer". She said she was calling me because I have only been making $10 payments which was not acceptable since my agreement was for $20/month. I tried to explain to her that I was currently unemployed and haver been since March 3rd,2023. I felt it was better to make a $10 payment as opposed to no payment. She was very rude and repeated the $10 payment was unacceptable. My balance is only $323.69 and have every intention of paying my debt and I'm doing my best until I get a new job.

I have never dealt with anyone so rude.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] False billing

I went to the ER on February 19, 2022. Paid for the full visit at the time of arrival as it was for stitches and examination. I received a bill for 32 dollars for an x-ray, which I paid. I then started receiving bills from team health for the exact amount that I paid in the hospital. I reached out to them to ask what services I owed for and it was the exact breakdown of services I had already paid for. I then receive a collection notice in September from HRRG saying its in collections and that if I want to refute the charges I need to write by October 12th. I write and provide documentation of payment. No response for 3 months. I finally received a letter saying they're going to let me pay 60% less if I pay the amount in 10 days. No reference to my previous proof of payment. No determination or explanation of why my bill changed. Meanwhile, my credit has not sustained any impact so it makes me feel likes it a scam. Both of the companies that sent me letters had no information on their paper bills, which has been the only medium they have reached out in despite having mine and my wifes phones and emails.

Desired outcome: Dissolve the false debt

Received billing for services already paid. Letter received 8/2/2022 does not have a PIN number to login to dispute the billing with proof of payment already made. Stated they could be contacted online. However, without a PIN number that is not possible! Furthermore, no email address provided to contact them either. Tried to contact them by phone. It was after hours but no way to leave a message either!

Desired outcome: I need a response from them and a way to send proof of payment.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Harassment

Every time this company calls me, the first thing they do is try to get my personal information. I've asked them numerous times what the call is for. All they ever respond with is that "its a personal business matter, we need to first verify your identification". I've asked them directly if they are a debt collector. All I get is their scripted "once I can verify your identification, I will be able to disclose that information". If you try to speak at all they stay on script and cut you off. This morning they called yet again. I told them "I have no debts to my name other then 1 medical bill that I have a monthly payment on. So I don't know what you could possibly be calling for". This representative seriously responded with "please see our letter that you have recieved in the mail". I tell her "I have not received anything from your company, so no, I don't know who you are, nor do I trust you. So if you could please state exactly what type of call this is." To which she responds yet again with "Once I can verify your identification, I can then disclose that information to you." These conversations have become a daily thing. When they call I have not and will not answer "yes" to anything, even if it is infact me on the phone. Which in turn has been agitating their representatives. I've already had my ID stolen once in the past due to me answering "yes" and simply confirming my address for a bogus agency before. And as it would seem, this agency is much like the last that stole from me.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Debt not owed

They continue to call me frequently about a debt for my 5-year-old daughter who has cancer. They call me from random numbers at random times during my workday. I am a teacher, so I cannot get to my phone. The kicker is...I have told them that the debt is in the process of being disputed because my daughter has two supplemental insurances. They are downright rude and don't listen when I have told them that the "debt" is not accurate because only one insurance was implemented.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Phone harassment

Every day, this company calls my cell phone at 8:06 am. 6 minutes shy of the legal deadline. I am sending a verbal cease and desist, to stop calling my cell phone every day! They tell you to not delete the voice mail message; as it pertains to collecting a debt. Per the fdca robo calls are not allowed. I'll save what I have, so that they know they are not allowed to do this. Validating the debt, before leaving a robotic phone call message on my voice mail is the legal way to collect a debt. Calling me every day at 8:06 am, is rather disturbing and full of harassment! Please stop!

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Payments not showing received

I paid a bill that the company HRRG addressed to my fiance. I paid it with my credit card, to get it cleared off of his name. Upon finishing the payment on the HRRG website, I never received a confirmation of payment, so I proceeded to go through the process again. The second time, I still never got a confirmation, so I checked my bank account and double the amount due had been charged.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] Harassment and false debt collection

These people have been harassing me with daily phone calls from a different (305) number everyday for past two weeks. I got a letter in the mail from them saying a hospital bill had been turned over to them with a bogus bill attached. I had already been in communication with said hospital months prior and settled everything. The one time I answered the phone a man named "James" introduced himself and when I told him the debt was settled and they had no reason to be contacting me I was hung up on mid-sentence. I still have been receiving daily phone calls and getting cut-off automated messages in my voice mail like the thing started playing before it even got to my voicemail. I keep seeing that this is a legitimate business but they are trying to scam and are harassing me on a daily basis over a debt I don't even owe to them. I don't know how to get them to stop. I've told them the debt is settled and got hung up on. I've received many scam hospital bills after my visit in early March but this company is by far the worst one.

I have received several calls from this agency. They call and immediately disconnect when uou answer. They also do not leave voicemails when you do not answer the call.

My last call was at 12:30pm on 01/20/2020. I answered the call and the agent disconnected without an introduction. I immediately called the number back and "James" introduced himself. I asked what the call was regarding and he disconnected.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] collections

These fine folks called me at 8:34 pm. I was furious at being woken up when I work early (which I've told them before). The rep says "well it isn't nine pm yet and according to federal law we can call until then. But hey you have our number so I GUESS you can call us back" *cue snobby tone. Seriously? You people are a joke. Everyone I have tried to speak to has been rude and I've even been hung up on for asking for a supervisor.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] “customer “ service

Spoke w/ Christine today regarding a charge for the past 9 months. I have followed up with multiple people about my bill not being sent to my insurance. It was resolved last week. If Christine had let me speak she would've realized the charge had been paid. Her only answer, my insurance needs to call them. If they would've billed my insurance correctly the first time that wouldn't be necessary. Too bad it took them 9 months to figure that out. Christine was incredibly rude. I have never been treated so poorly or disregarded so completely by a phone representative before.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] emergency room / hospital bill

***BEWARD*** This company is a complete Fraud! how they are still operating is disgusting and shows that our Government does NOTHING to stop consumer fraud. The complaints about this company go back YEARS!

They are contacting me about an emergency room visit I had in April 2019. I paid the bill to the hospital DIRECTLY!

They obviously have connections inside hospital billing departments across the country as there is no other way to get patients information.

The HOSPITAL told me this company is a fraud and they have patients complaining all the time about them. If you pay HRRG...you still owe the Hospital or Doctor. They are a money scam.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] numerous phone calls about the paid charge

I have paid $389.48 for my husband's hospital stay 8/27/17-9/9/2017 at Christus Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi. I received the bill in July 2018 finally, and made promp payment on 8/7/2018 by sending a check #3177, which I have a copy of, by return envelope by mail. The check cleared my bank on 8/14/18. Monthes later, I started getting exact same bill, which I ignored, as I already made payment.

HRRG started calling and sending bill for this in Jan. 2018. I sent the copy of my check and bank statement that shows the check is cleared to them on Jan. 25, 2018. Even after that, I received so many calls from them. Received countless bills by mail, too.

I am sending them the same copy of the check ($389.48, check #3177) and copy of my bank statement that shows the check was cleared on 8/14/2018.

They will probably ignored them again... What a mess! But I am not paying the bill that I already paid regardless.

Here's my main issue: I am a Disabled Navy Veteran, and due to some serious medical issues, I can not drive or operate a vehicle of any kind. Also, if I have to go anywhere outside a 40 mile radius from the main VA Medical Center (or VAMC, for short), or if I have a medical issue that arises, that the VA is supposed to pay for it.

Here's the tricky part, and it happens all of the time: If I'm taking an ambulance and/or as soon as I arrive in the hospital, I make sure to inform them in advance that I am a Veteran, and that the VAMC is to assume all responsibilities for all of my medical related issues. Of course, I'm ignored, until I am allowed to leave the hospital, and return home. BUT before I do leave, I want to find out where the billing office is located, and most likely, will be told to wait until I get a bill in the mail, then take care of it myself, from there on out. That is NOT true, as I've been informed countless times that I can arrange for any/all billing in advance, including the initial discussion with the billing office(s). I have some family members - and friends - in the medical profession field, in different cities and States, within the entire Country. All of them has confirmed that what I have been doing or have been trying to do, is the right method. Yet, these billing offices do not want to hear it from me, because that simply means that presents more work for them to do, but it's the most easiest way to do it, which is to contact the Miami VAMC, and arrange for them to take all of the responsibilities from then on out. They just refuse to do it, and put all this stress on me.

The two main medical issues that I have is/are that I have had epilepsy/seizures since October 1995. I've been on a medicine for this, that stopped working on its own, after roughly 15 years.
This is why, even though I've been "seizure free" for enough years, that I do not drive at all, besides the facts that I do not make enough on my VA Pension to even look at a vehicle; and that I'd have to start all over basically from day one. I've had a learner's permit while I lived in Georgia, but I had my 4th documented seizure a year and a half after my Medical/Honorable Discharge on 15JUN196. So, after every new seizure, that puts me even further back on getting another learner's permit even further. I also had a grand mal seizure, where I was told that I was in a coma from about 1:30 pm on a Friday, and the next thing I know is that it's about 8:30 pm the following Tuesday. All that I know is what my family members and a friend, along with some of her family members had told me about it, and some of those things are not worth me repeating ever, at all. And, then there's the point that even though the medicine that I've been on since 2013 has been working, there's also the fact that it might stop working, at any given time.

The other issue is that I have type 2 diabetes, and my blood sugar levels has been from so high that my blood sugar monitor can not even read it. I've had it drop done to 39 once. When this happens, it's usually when I'm asleep. I will start tossing and turning, sweating badly, and am about to pass out. So, while it may look like I'm having a seizure, I am actually not having one, it's just what it looks like when my blood sugar levels have dropped rapidly, and in a short time period. I've even had it dropped from something like 105 to 65, in a five minute time period.

So, then this HRRG company finally buys the bill from whoever it is. Even on a bill that I received today, it states that, "some time ago, the health care provider(s) listed below, hired HRRG, LLC, to collect the balance shown below. Then there's the usual nonsense that they add to it, to make it seem/appear legit, when they know that it is NOT legit at all. They know it, and I know it.

And now, they claim that I owe THEM a total balance of the amount of $783.00, with a "ServDate" of 09MAR2019, which is well over a year now. Of course, I continue to ignore them, simply because what they are doing is illegal. Plus, they make it a point that they have not reported this account to any credit bureaus, but if it becomes transferred to an ARS service, which is a division of HRRG.

They CAN NOT legally report my account to ANY credit bureaus, because they can not break the law. Once again, they know it, and so do I.

But, it has not stopped any of the calls, the added stress to myself, and all this paperwork that they are wasting on complete nonsense. They are NOT above the law, and that the VAMC in Miami has already informed me, via emails and phone calls, has already paid the bill off. Plus, add to the fact all of the harassment issues involved from this so called HRRG LLC company, etc. So, they find it that it's okay for them to try and break the law, and it will all be a complete fraudulent on them. They just see it as dollar signs, and that' it.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] emergency room bill

On 09/20/18 I was taken to the emergency room for an infectected tooth. I was told when I got there that I needed my vital signs taken and then brought to a room of "a financial counselor" That financial counselor told me that they had no dental services at the location for Memorial Herman at Ella Blvd and 610 and could not service me and gave a list of dentists to go to seethe next day Called to arrange to those on the list and secured one to see me had extraction and antibiotics.
Nothing was done for me there. I received a bill for $54.00 from Memorial Herman recieveda couple before I felt I could call in as I was too ill with my I jury to take care of it. I called Memorial Herman and they agreed I should not be charged and removed the charge.
I have heard nothing from ACSPrimary Care Phys Sw Pa until today from this collection agency until today a Marilyn Montanz thereprese tative stating if vital signs taken I would have to pay even though not seen by a physician, even though no billing issued for 7 months after occurrence. I believe all this erroneous. I believe bill should come direct from the billing agency for resolution not by route of a collection agency 7 months later.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] fake collection request

After receiving emergency services in April 2 018, and paying my bill in full, I received a statement from HRRG requesting payment. They claim to represent the attending doctor and some physicians group, from whom I never received services. MY doctor was listed in my full payment, after insurance covered their share . To this day, almost a year later, I am still receiving phone calls from HRRG. Today, HRRG sent me another statement and claimed that it will be turned over to another collection agency, ARS, which may hit my credit report. Needless to say, HRRG has no real physical address, or real phone number. Just a PO Box. ARS, who I suspect is also a fake agency, also has no real address or phone number. Beware of the scam.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] continual calls and voicemails from different numbers after paid in full

I have paid my medical debt completely in full and even after paying my debt and verifying (with the original medical provider) that my account stands at a $0.00 balance, I continue to receive daily calls from HRRG. Upon calling them, I was contacted with a lady who barely spoke English and who lied to me by telling me that they were the medical provider. Per what the ACTUAL medical provider said, they are a separate collections company. She continually interrupted me and tried to collect information from me, to which I responded that I am not going to give her information because the debt is paid in full and I requested that she reach out to the company that initiated the collection and verify that it is paid in full. She finally responded in an irritated and disrespectful tone saying, "FINE, we will just send you a letter. Goodbye" and hung up on me.

It is scary to me that a shady company like this can have access to my credit information and potentially ruin my credit report.

Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group [HRRG] debt collection for services supposedly rendered

My 10 year old daughter broke her arm on a 4-wheeler on mother's day in 2017. I made the mistake of taking her to clearview regional in monroe, ga. I had bcbsga insurance at the time. God bless the radiology department for doing the x-rays and showing me what I already knew, as I am a registered nurse. They were the only two employees that knew anything about their job. This particular doctor came into our room for a total of 30 seconds, looked at the x-ray and said, "it's broken." "duh!" I thought to myself. "tell me something I don't know." or... How about tell your nurses what they need to do. No! He couldn't even do that. The nurses were unable to find a cast mold the right size and said they'd return after locating the correct size casting. Around 1.5 hours later, the nurse came in with the long-awaited cast molding. They manipulated my daughter's arm to the point of excruciating pain and still were unable to apply the cast correctly. I told them they were trying to put it on upside down. They wouldn't listen. After the cast molding hardened, the nurses realized (finally) that it was upside down. It was removed, and the search began for another cast molding. Another hour and a half passed, a nurse finally found another molding. This one she got right. No doctor, no hospitalist, no social worker, no anyone, acknowledged the incompetency of the entire staff. After 4 hours, we were released. Fast forward to today... 1.5 years later, said doctor wants $185 out of my pocket. And, insurance paid said doctor $600+. Now, we don't even have insurance. And these people want me to pay another $200... For what?!?!? I could've done a better job myself, and no bill would be seen. Btw... Why does a procedure cost one-half the price when done for a self-pay patient? I absolutely refuse to flush my hard-earned money down the drain anymore! I don't have it to give away. So, for all of you "debt collectors" who want to say I owe you: kiss my [censored]! Do your [censored]ing job, and i'll pay. Until then, eat your words. I owe you [censored]. The world owes you [censored]. You should at least know something about the "debt" you're trying to collect when you send the bill. I call [censored]! My next move: bbb. Good luck [censored]es.
