We don't know much about how Homechoice handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Homechoice restonic bed

Im writing this with so much disappointment, i bought restonic bed from homechoice last year October, its hardly 7 months the bed is already making sounds. We have been following the instruction of rotation of the bed every month instead its getting worse.

I have been a customer with homechoice for so many years, but what i got from homechoice this time is total disappointment. I don't think i will ever buy anything from homechoice ever again.

Homechoice sales

Good day
I have just spoken to one of your consultants at 16:55, think she said her name's Julie. I qualify for a R100 birthday voucher for the month of March and I wanted to ask how I should process that voucher when placing my order online.
She then proceeded to insist on taking my order over the phone and I indicated that I am not yet ready to provide my complete selection as I was still on duty. She said she would have to insert the voucher number herself and therefore I cannot place my order online. She then proceeded to drop the phone in my ear!Why are you having such a poor online interface, if that is the truth. Please deduct that R100 from my final amount as I cannot be bullied by sales staff who want to pressurise me for selfish motives. Please respond to [protected]@unisa.ac.za

Homechoice fraud on account and now listed on credit bureau

I have been calling homechoice for over a year asking them to assist me with a fraudulent account that was open in my name and have received no feedback. The account is still showing on my credit record as in arrears and cannot get any credit because of it.

I have been told that it's still under investigation but it's been over a year. When I google the address they delivered the stuff to, it is in the middle of nowhere.

Homechoice poor client service

Received a call at 19:47 on 19 march from a lady asking me when I am going to pay my account. She did not give me her name, but continued to tell me what my balance is and that I am in arrears.
Her tone was nothing less than rude and demanding. Yes, I may be in arrears but please do look at my payment history and you will note that I was not always in arrears. I have made two purchases after the initial one, and did not adjust the instalment yet.
When I asked her whether I had ever not paid my account, she said yes.
My payment history-for which I have proof - will show that I have never missed a payment... Ever!
Also... Please note - if you checked my payment history, you will note that I pay around the end of the month. Which means that is probably when I get paid - so yes, that is when I can make your payment.
If you-home choice - would stop harassing me, by calling me every hour on the hour to purchase your goods, I would not have to worry about paying you at all.
A bit of respect, diplomacy and good client service will get you a lot further...

Homechoice balance amount higher, not the same what I ordered

i placed an order with homechoice last year in September 2017 via sales agents going door to door, i received my order which was joy 3ply 4kg mink blanket & macah 3ply 4kg mink blanket which were R799 each that came to a total of R1598,
account opening fee R100,
delivery fee R143.82
facility fee R182.17
Total was 1923, 99
i made my first two payments in November R264 and later R270 then in Dec R300, Jan R280 and un Feb paid R272 but now i receiving an sms after the last payment saying thank you for your payment, your outstanding balance its R2555.63... how possible is this, please help me resolve this matter.

Homechoice delayed order

I ordered a pair of shoes on the 08 January 2018 got a very hed on quick reply same day with bankin details and amount to pay for my shoes and delivery, made payment 09 January since then no quick reply n rbeceipt of my payment and delivery notice2. Now I have to call you every week rhe shoes were apparently dispatched on the 11 Jan but its almost 3 months I havent received thema. Two weeks back I was told they are stuck at the Tshwane hub am not sure how is that my problem. If I dont receive them by them by the end of this week am going to take legal actions. Homechoice first order incorrect and bad customer service and no feedback

I placed my first order on 8th February and when I quarried my order with cline services the order is not what I ordered, I asked the consultant that phoned me that it must be delivered to me personally and not the post office, my parcel is sitting at the post office for weeks now and I refuse to collect it as the order is wrong and needs to be returned to the warehouse, I have emailed customer services many times and get no feedback

Homechoice my account have been handed to norma collection

I have been called by norman collector demanding payment on behalf of home choice for the goods i never recieved.
Can you please sent me statement of the account and the proof of delivery so that i can check who have recieved the said goods because i do not have any ports from home choice

Your assistance will be highly appreciated as i am not happy that my name has been sent to colletor of debts while i do not have outstanding accout with homechoice

My last order with homechoice was blankets which i paid in full

Homechoice 2 cupboards purchased

I purchased 2 wardrobes for my kids and they installed it all was well until we started packing our clothes in it. The doors where the clothes hang do not close and the draws are getting stuck the under part about a week old broke off the shelf also broke off yet there's only clothes in the cupboard. I called in and reported this in the same week it was delivered. They sent 3 different people out to assess the problem and they said it was a factory fault and yet nothing was done about this from last year around August or September. These cupboards are now makin my house look untidy and I want home choice to pick up the cupboard because I can not have such cheap quality things in my home. I do not want these cupboards I haven't had a problem with any of the other orders of bedding and food ware this is the first time I bought cupboards and I am not happy. I would like this matter to be considered urgent because I will throw these cupboards out and my lawyers will get in touch. I have always paid on time and I refuse to pay for something that is broken. I uploaded 3 pics but only 1 is loaded

Homechoice payments

I have been making monthly payments to veri cred collections until november 2017. My outsanding balance is r1387.00. I recieved a call from norman beset debt collectors saying I owe a ridiculous amount of r2034.40. This is not the same balance I have from veri cred as I have been making monthly payments. I would like to be contacted immediate effectively as this is a cause of concern to me as I feel I am being ripped of my hard earned cash. Please assist

Homechoice 2x ciego 5pc kitchen accessory set

I have emailed twice for a response on the below email and have not heard anything yet I need to resolve this urgently.

Please be advised that the two above orders were short delivered on 12/02/2018.

I had purchased two ciego 5pc kitchen accessory set and only received the bread bin and dish rack for both orders. The boxes containing the two dustbins and ladder was not delivered.

Attached are copies of the labels whereby only one box from each order was delivered instead of two boxes per order.

Boxes short delivered are as follows :

PFS42928361 - box 1/2 is missing
PFS42928337 - box 2/2 is missing

Please check with your courier and advise when the two missing boxes will be delivered.

Homechoice wrong product delivered / poor customer service

I have been a customer of HC for many years purchasing many products over the years. Every time i ordered something i never received the free gift advertised so in always had to make many calls and arrangements for the items to be delivered. that took time and at a further financial setback! none the less i kept being faithful and on the 23/01/2018 i ordered a king size extra length mattress and bed set. I received a call on the 02/02/2018 to arrange delivery for the 03/08 . i informed the guy that i would only be available in the afternoon as i was attending a memorial in the morning. they assured me they only needed 30 minutes to deliver and install so i agreed that they would come in the morning before i left. they delivered the bed but the guys that would assemble was not avail at that point. they kept calling me during the memorial services asking me what time i would be available. i finally compromised and went home to meet them. they assembled the bed and then tore open the bed packaging to set on bed only to find the bed was not the same size. they left without disassembling and i had to call in on the following Monday to inform HC of this. I spoke to a supervisor(female) who promised to sort this out asap. i finally get a call on 09/02 from a guy from the warehouse informing me they would do exchange the following day. i waited and waited and no calls and no delivery...? so this morning i call in to HC and Amanda takes my call, i was frustrated and wanted to speak to her supervisor and when i did not want to give her my id number she proceeded to put me on hold & her words to me before she put me on hold was "then you will wait". she proceeded to have a coffee/toilet break i presume coz i waited some 5minutes and 40 secs before i dropped the call and called back. Then Elrica Mitchells answered and when i queried about Amanda she said that there were a few Amanda's but the 1 I'm enquiring about was at her desk. how would she know which 1 then? Elrica did not care that i was frustrated and did not care that i had an problem, although she works in customer care - she duly put me hols to get a manager not before muttering that i was an [censor]. yes she called me a paying customer and [censor]!? none the less i can say that i will not be dealing with HC ever again and i can tell you i never in all the years that i have with HC never not once received a curtesy call after i called in to express my concerns. the culture the cc agents display when representing HC shows that we do not matter to them unless you are dealing with a sales agent. the customer care agents believe it is there right to have a job and the customer is a belligerent [censor] that receives the item for free! well i am sick and tired and would like to be put in contact with the top brass so that i express fully my disgust at the representatives and procedures in place.

Homechoice complainant

I am very disappointed in Home Choice I ordered the shoe rack and the luggage. The shoe rack was cash on delivery and the luggage was for the terms, then I received an sms that says I have to pay by the 28th of February then I was confused, I phoned the company (Home Choice) only to get somebody who was telling me that its my responsibility to phone the company and ask about the settlement amount, and I was like what settlement amount because I paid the urn up in 2016 and she said I was supposed to ask about the settlement amount because I signed for 16 months but I paid up the debt less then 16 months and I am suprised how come the company was quiet for the whole 2016 from October until February 2018 then the company is telling me that I did not settle the 2016 debt what is that.
I am so disappointed and I have lost trust on the company.
I have been with HC for many years but this is a disappointment. Iwanted to order the laptop on top of the orders I have already made but because of this I am cancelling all the orders the shoe rack and the luggage and I am not interested in ordering anything from you thank you.
The people who are assisting clients should be the people who are very tactfull who know how to handle customers; we dont need people who are self centered who do not stand for the good of the company the lady I talked to does not know how tohelp the customer I was using my cellphine to phone she did not even border to give me the information I was looking for, the whole R100 artime was gone but no solution, no help what so ever, very very disappointed

Homechoice smart t. v.

Hello my name is rhoda moorer and i need someone to contact me a.s.a.p.i have been a customer since june 2014 purchasing items always pd.my bill on time never missed a payment i purchase a 49 inch smart t.v. and a bed frame i took the t.v. home with me on friday feb.2 on sat.feb.3 i had my caretaker put it together when we turned it on it had little small lines in it i immedially called homechoice at 895 arcade st.paul minnasota i was told it was my fault looked like the t.v. had been dropped this is not true at all the t.v had to be affected when they gave it to me how will i know i been having issues with this store for a while and still was the perfect customer i will not pay for this t.v. i feel as if they should have worked it out with me giving me another t.v or somethong lowe the price so ya'll can take me to court or whatever i am not paying for this television will take it back to the store.thankyou Rhoda moorer contact me at [protected] or email at [protected]@gmail.com.

Homechoice it's home choice bed

Im a very angry customer I bought the bed on you on 2016 July the on 2017 around April the bed was broken. I did contact to guys. Your guys came and check the bed. They said they will come back with a new one till today im still sleeping on the broken bed. I payed almost R 14000 with that bed thinking im not going to buy another bed any time soon. Homechoice restonic mattress

purchased a "NEW" restonic bed from homechoice in November, the beds (a single bed was free with the purchase) was delivered to me on the 18th.

It took me about 3 days before I decided to actually open the packaging of the new bed.

on the very first night the bed bulged and it felt as though we were sleeping on springs olny.

I then contacted homechoice and they took days before they responded.

the manager of Restonic contacted me and we agreed on a new bed to be delivered to me in January as there factory closed for the festive season.

days before Christmas my husband and I decided to let my six year old use the mattress of the single bed and to our surprise this mattress is exactly the same.

at this point I just want my money back... or money to be credited to my account again.

now that the bed has finally been picked up it has to go to Joburgh and I have to wait another week cause this is there process.

myself, husband and 6 year old daughter are sleeping on a blow up bed.

I am really upset and disgusted by homechoice and restonic.

Homechoice wardrobes/bad service

Bought a full bedroom suite from Homechoice. The bed and pedastals I have no probltem with. The same day they installed the wardrobes it got chipped both of them. Now the wardrobes is falling appart Hence I have to pay 3YEARS on it. I have been calling them since last year now they want to tell me that they can pick it up and scan it at the warehouse. Where the hell must I [utmy clothes im very angry and I have been a good HOMECHOICE customer for a year and this is how they treat their customers im taking further steps. The agents at homechoice are never helpful is like they doing you a favour this is my last buying I ever so regret it

Homechoice delivery

Good day
I am highly frustrated with this service. I ordered Paw Patrol bedding which was paid for cash, dispatched on the 30/11 and still have not received anything. I made contact with the call centre this morning and the call got cut 3 times...how pathetic. Just to be told that I will receive the package soon...when is soon? 3 weeks later and still nothing. I feel like going to the papers. The lady did not even track the package! What the hell? Is this anyway to treat a paying customer?

Please get back to me ASAP.

Homechoice delivery service public insult

Good day

I saw missed call from unknown cellphone number the call was between 15:01 to 15:13 with no voice message or sms

On 19/12 I received sms from homechoice regarding delivery of parcel message said (Delivery update your order inv no on delivery with fast and furious expected delivery 24-48 hours

This morning on 20/12 at 6:15 I got call from the delivery people

To my surprise the guy was very rude mentioned 3 diffrent places for us to meet I did explain that 11 church street is my delivery address I will only be there after 7:30

The delivery people came to welkom waited at shoprite to deliver parcel

I asked for the parcel I also asked the driver why he was shouting at me

His words was did I not see miss call he started swearing at me by using the exact words of telling me I am talking shirt to see any miss call expecially from unknown number does not know I will know who the caller is

The guy used abusive and treatining words that I refused to sign for the parcel because he was too rude I was shocked by his language and behaviour

Homechoice please sent my parcel with another driver or cancel my ordr asap

I fail to understand how can such big company use people with such manners and unproffesional; behaviour

I am very dissapointed because all my other order has been deliverd successfully with no hassles or abuse

The driver was abusive he even blocked our vehicle to continue swearing at us

Homechoice over contacting

Homechoice calls me on a few times on a daily basis. I have told them to add me to the do not contact database. I also mentioned that if I'm interested in anything I will go online. Please do not phone me again. I have used callerID to block Homechoice however there is the odd occasion where they still get through. They also phone at ridiculous hours at times.
