IHOP customer service and order was totally messed up

I called to place an order for pick up and asked for a bacon cheeseburger with only a slice of onion. The waitress said you only want a sclice of onion in your bun. I replied with I would also like to have the burger, bacon and cheese in the bun with the onion. I was picking this up for my husband who is attending classes at night and wanted to get him dinner. They quoted me 15-20 minutes but it really took closer to 45 minutes until I got my food. I didn't check becasue I wanted it to stay as hot as possible until he could eat it at his break. He actually got out early last night and came home to eat it. When he opened the container we found that the only thing in the bun was a burger, cheese and some type of nasty sauce. I paid for a bacon cheese burger but only received a plain cheese burger. Additionaly what we received was not even worth the $9.85 bill we paid. I tried to contact the resturant directly last night and each of the four times I called nobody answered the phone and it rang so many times (approx. 20 rings) it actually cut the call off. This is a shame because I have heard good things about the food and my first experience was a very bad one. I have no plans to return to the resturant in the future and would greatly appreciate a refund for this meal. I never make complaints about things but was very distured by my whole experience. I also tried calling your corporate office today 02/28/2019 at 2:00 est. And received a recording stating sorry you missed the call and to call back during regular business hours from 7 am to 7 pm cst. I was well within the time and each of the three times I called thinking it was a fluke but each time same thing. I woudl really like to speak directly to someone regarding this experience.

IHOP food / service

Last night (Feb.25, 2019) my family and I went to IHOP on Crestwood Blvd the waitress had a don't care attitude. She wasn't rude but she seemed like she didn't want to be at work and the food was horrible. The burger I ordered was raw in the middle, the Spicy Poblano omelette was missing some of the ingredients. I didn't know about the food issues until I got home. To sum it up, this is the worst service that I have ever received at any restaurant. I would like my money back, not a gift card for the food I purchased. I have no plans to return to any of your establishments.

IHOP The manager on duty was incompetent and allowed his team to disrespect their customers

Erica and Crystal from parkway attacked verbally after I just asked a question regarding the seating arrangement at the store. The manager on duty was incompetent and allowed his team to disrespect their customers. I have not been disrespected like this at any store and what hurts is that I am a usual at the store. I won't be returning to this store again after that attack. Thank you a sad customer, Dana C

IHOP a manager

Hi I was in here on jan.26 @8:30 pm tonight and I enjoyed my service and waiter but I just couldn't just sit here and not report this issue see I come in here all the time and I order the same thing everytime but this particular manager is always treating the servers wrong talking to them all type if ways I think her name is Amanda I believe. I Just don't think it's human to treat ppl that way and I think something should be done or u will loose a loyal customer

IHOP service

The waitress set us at our table never came back we set there for 15 minutes then I said to my boyfriend let's get out of here he said no we've been sitting here let me go up and see where I was server is well he went up and the guy said I will be right with you another 5 minutes no one came then the guy came he said what can I get you to drink the next thing I know the waitress that set us game the food was called the service was horrible I never been such bad service in my life and I've been to a lot of restaurants and diners I am a server myself and would never let a customer wait that long and to top everything off never came back to the table X and everything was then want you to come back she came back with a check and said I will be right back to take care of it waited another 10 minutes and then finally decided to go up to the register I don't like complaining but I may never ever go to another IHOP again

IHOP food was served cold after a very long wait time / pancakes were not completely cooked

This occurred on Jan. 13, 2019, the server failed to bring my complete order. When she finally did, the pancakes were not cooked all the way. When I complained to the expeditor, she just walked away. I paid the total bill requested to see the manager. After waiting 15 or more minutes I decided to leave with no resolution extended to me.

IHOP 3 meals

We walked in we're standing there for five minutes before somebody even sat us once they said as we sat there for 15 minutes and somebody came over and asked if we have been helped it was not his table his name was morally. He was very helpful took our order they had him run out to do something and they did not even make sure we got our food while he went out to do something for the score. We sat there for an hour with no food when Morley finally came back he thought we would have had our food he made sure we got our food out to us while all the other waiters and waitresses watched us wait, walked past us several times looked at us and said nothing. He came back to help us. They didn't clean up any of the tables that were on the side of us and stayed that way the whole time we were there they never cleaned off the table. Assisyant manager had the audacity to only give us 10% when our meal should have clearly been free. We took care of the bill after telling her that you know we really shouldn't be paying anything and then she took another 15% off it was not worth the argument to go backwards and forwards because they already were not doing their job the place was filthy it was trash everywhere pretty much all the tables were not clean there was sticky stuff all over the syrup particles there was no salt and pepper on our table it was just a complete disappointment. The manager had the audacity to take the 35% off and tell us if we come back we'll get 20% off the next time I can promise you will not ever be going back to that restaurant again because we should not have had to pay for that ticket. I am a personal chef and ideal and go to five star restaurants on a constant basis I never had to tell a manager that they need to give me free food and I never expect free food but when the service is that bad at a 1 * 2 * restaurant there is no reason why we should have been paying anything for our meal. We did go ahead and pay for our meal and now I'm contacting you guys I do have pictures but it was very disappointing that this is the way you guys run a restaurant of IHOP. but when the service is that bad at a 1 * 2 * restaurant there is no reason why we should have been paying anything for our meal. I would appreciate someone giving me a call because I think you guys really need to go take a look at that restaurant there is a lot of craziness going on there and I meant it's filthy but I I don't ever want to eat there again as long as it's the way it is and I've had a few other people tell me about it but I never really paid attention to what they were saying as far as the customer service and it sucks.we did gove the Morley $10 because he took the initiative to come over to us when it was at his table.

You got 35 percent off your bill stop complaining. Grow up. You ate the food pay for it. Cannot afford to eat out then visit a soup kitchen. They should not have given you even 35 percent off you greedy pig. Why go out if you cannot afford to. Why go to a restaurant for a free meal. Homeless shelters give free meals not restaurants

It is people like you that make the site look bad. Honestly IMO they need to ban people like you from the site. People who make other members look bad by asking for free meals. I can understand you wanting a discount(and you got one) but demanding your whole meal for free. You are making people on this site look bad. I bet you would find any issue to get your meal free. Do you go around giving free meals to people in your restaurant where you are a chef. Someone needs to do the same to you. I bet you are the last to give anyone free meal. Get off this site and stop ruining it for all of us.

I want to find out where he works. Go to his restaurant. Complain and demand that my meal be free. Then again I don't think he really works in a restaurant. Just states this to make himself look important. If he worked at a restaurant he would be able to afford his food and not make up excuses to get it free. Mommy needs to teach him manners and give him a good whooping.

My name is Laura I worked at the location on haroer rd wv I was belittled by the manager earl in front of guests and employes I have been done like this for months abd nobody wants to step up but I am I have 4 kids and need my job and I will not be satifised until something is done u shouldn't dreed going to work cause ur scared what someone will do

IHOP pancakes potatoes

I was at a ihop 4691 park blvd pinellas park fl on dec 17, 2018 order potatoes pancakes that was on the menu usually they used serviced with sour cream and applesauce these were not so I order sour cream to go with them they were not potatoe pancakes and were thing I ever had orders they asked us at that time how everything and I told I was not happy with their so called potatoe pancakes and they did nothing my husband and I go to, ihop all the time that visit has left a very sour taste I just could not believe they could serve and call that potatoes pancake it looked like burnt hash browns thank you carol garza

IHOP constant harassment from manager

The Asst. Manager told me to "Shut the [censored] up"! Then tried to write me up for nothing! When I refused to sign it, he suspended me for a week! How do I go from no write ups to a one week suspension? Please help! I have done nothing wrong to be written up! & certainly nothing to be suspended for! This manager is out of line! & has opened the restaurant for a HR nightmare & A lawsuit for wrongfull termination and constant harassment!

I was fired for supposedly threatening a coworker, which never happened! Supposedly there are witnesses but they won't tell me who they are! I am a single mother with three children and with no investigation or even questioning me they fire me! An employee whose been with this location since they opened, an employee who has always received excellent employee reviews, an employee who was promoted to a lead server, an employee who has had numerous positive comments left on the survey site, an employee that my fellow employees came together and raised money for at Christmas time to help me because I was out of work from having surgery. How in the world is this justified?

IHOP very poor customer service

So my kids and I decided that we wanted ihop once we left church on December 31, around 8:30pm. We drive to the Smyrna location location on Team Blvd. The lights were on, shades was up. My daughter get out her car to go in first to make sure they were open. As I pulled up I said, are they open. She stated yes it's just empty inside. I said okay well park your car and I will go ahead and go in. As she parks her car next to mines. We notice they started closing there blinds. Now it's 8:45pm at night so clearly so sun is out. I said wait here let me go inside. As I am approaching the door I see the workers inside trying to hide. I proceed to continue to walk in further when a man comes from the back by the kitchen. I said are y'all open? I noticed you closed your blinds when you seen us getting out our cars. He stated yes we are open but we close in one hour and a half with him pulling out his phone looking at the time. No where near the closing time. SMDH I stated well you know what we will just find us another place to eat since it seem we are not welcome in here. I will not be going back there EVER again.

IHOP food

My husband and i went to the ihop on i-40 and ross osage tonight(jan 1 2019) and very disappointed my biggest complaint is the side salad, omg i was ashame all the money the company makes u cant afford to give the customers a good salad, with more than just romain lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of onion ? the waitress apologized for the looks of the salad, she said it wasnt them who had to make the salad that way, its corporate 's idea ! well corporate sucks ! my husband ordered country fried steak and had to get doubled mashed potatoes because they were out of corn, ! both our meals were cold, that sucked !the coffee was warm, not hot in the coffee pot brought to the table and cost $2.59 each for small glasses of iced tea and chaege for coffee, to seniors? u ihop is outrageous! we wont be going there !

IHOP employers

The ihop on University Parkway in winston salem are very rude and disrespectful to some of the employees. While other servers are fussing an cussing they only fuss and bicker with certain individual about their job performance and not focus on anyone else. The GM told me she had to keep an eye on me for whatever reason when I have no history of violence and also tried to diagnose me with a mental health disease that I do not have. I have spoken to a lawyer about the discrimination and will be taking action!

IHOP very bad manager

This manager chelby of liberal Kansas Ihop isn't Doing his job the right way and is coming to work drunk and leaving work to go next door to Applebee's to drink then coming back drunk. Chelby the manager also is very rude and mean to customers and the employees. He will stand there with a customer complaint and laugh right In there face and yell at them. He would treat all his works like they are nothing. He expect his works to do everything for him even when they have other jobs or things going on in there life. He would scream in ur face telling u how u mess up and never show u what u messed up on. He would also go around picking favorite and letting them do what every they want. He would scream at u and not give u the days off u need. He would say that we can't havw any days off that we need because he don't care what we having going on it our life's that we put this job first. He didn't care if u has a family emergency and need to get somewhere he would fire u for needing days off. U never get a day off. To me this isn't how u run a restraute. He would have tables walk on because he would go out there and yell at them for wanting special orders or something different add in there order. He isn't doing his job right showing up to work drunk. Opening the store late when we're supposed to be there at 5 and he would show up with the keys till about 6 then yell at u for it which his the only one with a key.

IHOP customer service food code

I am a Food Inspector for the federal Government, and we have about 14 Dining Facility on the military Base. I inspect food codes, and sanitation.

That restaurant is disgusting, and it smell like mold. Customer service was terrible, I order an omelet (Colorado) it was over cook, and I refused to eat it, the meat was cut in large chunks, jalapeno was in whole pieces, cheese was so hard you could not pull it apart. I ask the waiter for hot sauce, and he gave me a large dirty bottle without the top on it (Tabasco) How profession that was. My wife bacon was raw, and cold, it appeared that it was undercooked. Her food was terrible also. I thought food supposed to be 135 degree and above serving to customers.
I could not believe what I have experience that night at IHOP from observing all of you guys commercial. I will contact the state, and reach out to someone to have that place inspected, because they are not following the Food Code, and sanitation is terrible. I will never go to another IHOP again, and it only 3 miles from my house.

IHOP staff member at ihop and experience

Im going to send you my facebook post which makes tonights visit quite comical when in fact it wasnt. But i dont like negativity on my page nor the others it will go on. This post is nothing compared to all that occured tonight. Christmas... No one wants to be at work but your customers dont want to be exposed to this either. I hope you take the time to read this. Look into it and address it. As funny as my post is it surely will be shared but everyone who knows me knows the seriousness behind it. Your one waitress tonight violated some health codes like long hair down playing with it, long fake nails that were dirty. We saw that when she couldnt hold a rag to wipe a table down and her hand was turned over. She couldnt atay put of her wallet or purse ( one with sequence all over it) putting money in it... Many times. From 9:15 pm - 10-20 ish we laughed so hard. Not because it was a great time to male memories but because we just cant figure out why this place cant keep it together.

So... Mark had to yet again work Christmas and decided ihop is where we would run to unwind before coming home. So he Daniel and I went.
Our waitress is one weve had on many occasions and shes great. Now we all know no one really wants to be at work on Christmas but she was just a happy little elf. But, as we all know on the other end was the abnominal snowchic... Another waitress who was not only rude but for sure not health department cleared for waitress nor serving, with the attitude straight from well... Anyhow, we placed our orders and told them there was no rush. The poor cook was doing all he could and seemed to be doing great. One shoulder was the sweet waitress aka his angel and on the other was HER. Anyhow, i wont go into details on how the cook put food up for serving and she took her bare hands with long dirty fake nails and removed food off the plate bare handed, put it in a bowl then still served the food. Nope i wont tell you the gross stuff we saw or that i announced it and how it was disgusting (there was alot of things to see). But anyhow, my potatoes were for sure long over due for the trash. Yes they saw better days, probably days ago. But again the poor guy was working so hard there was no way we were saying a word shy of thank you.
So i took my spoon and flipped them and really didn't have to so much but decorate the face with burned bacon and a hard potatoe that was missing the peppers and onions. Again, its Christmas i wasnt going to complain and no way were we sending anything back to this poor guy. In the mean time, the abnominal snow chic was being rude and disrespectful to the waitress we had. Again i get it no one wants to be at work on Christmas. So i made a little one too. When i was done, our waitress came over and was laughing so hard. It was great to see her smile and laugh. She said it was the first time since the abnominal snowchic arrived being rude that she was laughing. So for the sake of laughter, i gifted her this masterpiece to help her make it through the night.
See the little things in life matter to many.
I can make it something to laugh about when i share it but others wont.

IHOP billing and web hosting

Hou charged me for an order that i never placed. Your website kept giving me error messages while running extremely slow and it kept duplicating every item i added to my cart. I ended up having to close the website browser and placing my order as guest instead of logging in. I finally got the order to go thru on your website 45 minutes after your cashier told me she wouldnt take my order over the phone. We ordered a full stack of pancakes and two orders of french toast. Just enough for my two teenage sons. You told me you were out of syrup so i had to buy syrup from 711 for $8.00 and upon arriving home i received an email notification saying ihop charged me $49.34 for my order (the order ihop website previously duplicated every item in cart that i had to abandon due to errors and poor quality web hosting services. You need to send my credit asap because i dont have extra money sitting around for ihop to
just take from their customers.

IHOP food

My family and I came for the grinch pancakes. When ordering the waitress said they were out of the green whip cream. I said ok and was happy I was still getting green pancakes. 15 min later my waitress comes back to tell me I have to order something else due to the fact they ran out of green pancake mix. Upset, I still ordered pancakes. Unhappy with my experience here.

IHOP service

Ordered online..See Receipt.. On the way to pick up the order the when I received a phone call saying the store was closing due to No Manager or Cook was at the store. I asked was my order canceled because I already had paid online. The person I spoke with said they couldn't do it. I continued to the store being I was on my way to pick up the order anyway. The staff was very disrespectful and unprofessional. As a customer I felt the situation was handled horrible. As of today I still haven't received my money back. Will NOT BE PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN.

IHOP grinch advertised special

I recently visited the Ihop in Stuart, FL on Rt 1.
I was visiting my grandchildren from out of state and we were having a "Grinch Day."
After leaving the Grinch movie we headed to Ihop for a Grinch meal. The kids were very excited as they had seen many advertisements on TV and the posters were hung on the entrance to the restaurant. When we were seated we were told they did not have any of the Grinch meals and would offer no substitutes to accommodate us because of their lack of supplies. They would not honor the Kids eat free from 4-6.
The waitress informed us they had not had any of the Grinch products in days and had lost a lot of business because of it. The waitress seemed very embarrassed. She was very nice but management made no attempt to speak with us or accommodate us in any way. Frankly, I don't understand why they just couldn't get some green food coloring to satisfy their customers.
This was such a fun promotion by your restaurant and it is a shame this branch was not honoring it.
