LG Electronics a tv I purchased from big sandy with a 5 year warranty

I purchased a lg tv from ashland my at big sandy at the end of 2017 with a 5 year warranty. They told me to get the warranty if anything ever happened to it, that my warranty would cover it. I had a witness with me, which is my fiancé. He and I discussed it and decided it would be the best decision because we have small children and animals. Anything could happen. I got the tv on the 90 day pay off and paid it off quickly, got the warranty with the package as well. Everything went smoothly. Had a great experience. They told me if I needed anything to let them know and they would take care of it. So now it's 2019 and something happened to the screen while we were at work. I reported it immediately and they are saying my warranty won't cover it. Okay, I wouldn't be as upset if they hadn't of told me it covered anything. They led me on to believe that this warranty was good for anything. All it needs is a new screen. That's it. It still works properly, it's just the screen. Now telling me i'm gonna have to pay extra money for this tv that i've paid a ton for, i'm mad. Another reason why i'm angry with them is I decided because my purchase the first time was so smooth, I went last october and purchased another tv. I'm still in the process of paying that tv off. I'm down to a little over $100 of pay off. I had a horrible experience this time with this tv. First they hassled me about the warranty and I kept saying no. They kept trying to talk me into it to the point of me almost walking out of the store. Finally I said "sorry, I don't want the warranty with this purchase, I just want the tv." i've went through access now with both purchases as well. Then once I paid for the tv, they then tell me they don't have the tv in stock so they have to order it and it would be coming from their warehouse in franklin furnace ohio, which is a 20 min drive for me. It took them almost two weeks to get me my tv after paying for it! They also had lied and told me the tv was at their store when it was not so I wasted my time driving up to ashland to get it. So finally I get the tv and after that, it's like my concerns or needs are no longer cared for. They have been pretty irresponsible and now i'm dealing with their repair store telling me their salesmen should've never told me that my warranty covered everything. I am sooooo angry. I would have never paid that much money for a warranty if it wouldn't have covered everything like they told me. Now i'm basically stuck with a crack screened 55" lg 4k hdtv that I dearly love and can't enjoy it because they are refusing to fix it unless I pay. I feel i've spent good money there, I have paid my payments and not been late and i've been respectful and held my composure when i've wanted to be a witch. I have reached out to access now and now i'm reaching out to you. Pleaaaase help! I don't know what else to do but I love this tv... It was my first major electronic purchase and I want to enjoy this tv with my family for years to come if I can. If you need anything from me, please contact me through email:

LG Electronics refrigerator not working

My Refrigerator is 3 years old and has quite cooling . Today I call for service and I am told 11 days away. I have children and elderly in our household. What do you expect us to do, Not to mention we are 3 days away from Easter. You obviously have sold inferior products and service can not keep up. I will do all I can to spread the word. As said the happy tell no one, the angry tell everyone.

Similar: My fridge stopped cooling after 3 years and have been dealing with their awful customer service for 4 weeks now, and counting. Fridge is still dead sitting in my kitchen...

LG Electronics lg washer

I have been dealing with a broken LG washer for 3 months. We have had 3 repairs done on this washer for the same issue. On the last visit over a month ago the repairman supposedly fixed the existing issue but found another issue that he couldn't fix and required more parts. It took LG over a month to get the parts in. When I complained to executive services they refused to replace my washer (it's a lemon) and said I had to wait for the part to come in on April 15th. It is now April 18th and the part still hasn't arrived. This has been the most frustrating situation I have ever dealt with on any appliances. Again, 3 months since my washer first broke. We deserve a new washer for all our troubles.

LG Electronics stove model lsg4513st

I had the stove less that 2 years. The oven will not hold the temperature. Any setting above 325 degrees goes 50 or 75 degrees above the setting.

The repair agent has come 6 times and has called LG in regard to parts to fix it . None of the replacement parts solved the problem.

Called LG's customer service department numerous times. Today I got an email saying they won't make good on the appliance. Call for more repair services.

This is a defective stove that can't be fixed ! More repair services is not the answer. The appliance store has replaced 3 parts but says they can only turn 1 into LG.

The service calls are under the phone number 814-591-7897 Bruno Genevro.
This stove should be replaced by LG.

LG Electronics led tv

I had bought 49" LED TV -model No. 49LF540A on 8th Jun'15. In less than 4 year display panel burnt out (stopped working).
The LG technician informed me that the display panel will have to be replaced which will cost Rs 35, 000 which is about 70% of the TV cost.
Display panel not working within 4 years of buying is shocking and LG do not have answer as to why the display stopped working, why should customer suffer on account of poor quality.
I have been calling up LG service centre, sending mails to them but I am not getting any response from them.

To Whom It May Concern,
One pissed off customer!
LG, I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer. My 3-4 year old refrigerator stopped cooling on 3/24/19. I discovered it on 3/25 and called immediately. I lost all of the food in my freezer and a lot in the refrigerator. I set up an appointment for a repair on Friday the 29th. I got parts received on the 29th and after 2 called to talk to the tech he finally called me at 1115 to confirm my appointment which was between 8-12 that morning. He arrived at 1215, walked into my house, looked at the parts box, walked back outside then came back a minute later and told me that "they" had sent the wrong parts. This was upsetting as I had to take the day off of work to be there for him to come and lost money that day. He then told me his next available was Wednesday 4/3/19 from 8-12. I said fine I'll take that appointment but would have to find someone to be at the house. On 4/3/19 my Husband stayed home from work for the appointment that never happened. I called LG just before 12 noon to ask where the tech was and after a very long and frustrating phone discussion between the LG rep who also called Mr. James Oliver the tech. He told her that I was not on his schedule for today and that he had "ordered" the parts. The LG rep can not verify if the correct parts are actually ordered or not. So once again, we have lost a day's worth of pay and the refrigerator is STILL not fixed. I think that he forgot to put me on his schedule and forgot to order the parts and is trying to cover for it. I have 2 small children and have now been out of a refrigerator since March 24th. Not to mention that i can not find my original receipt therefore I cant even get reimbursed for the lost food. When we first bought this refrigerator the one delivered did not work and we had to wait 2 more weeks to get the current one we have. I should have known then that this product was not reliable. What I am disappointed at is that the tech LG has employed does not even pretend to have any empathy but absolutely no drive to provide excellent patient service. I requested a different tech come out and that was never offered. I can tell you this if the reason for my refrigerator not working was not under warranty I would have already called an independent repair technician to fix it then I would sell this heap. I will not be purchasing any LG products in the future I can assure you.

Hi Deena.

Appreciated hearing your frustrations. With two small children and being a working mother, I'm sure your schedule is very busy. Being without a fridge doesn't help the matter.

Any time service is required for a household appliance, the process generally takes a total of two visits. The first visit is to determine the possible needed parts; the second is to complete the necessary repair. It sounds as if there was an assumption made as to what the problematic part(s) were without a visit, thus sending out the unneeded parts.

No question that there should have been better communication between yourself, the technician and everyone knowing whether the necessary parts had arrived.

One area I might question is why there wasn't some sort of communication taking place between yourself and the retailer? LG's retailer network is vast and is established, in part, to help resolve many problems such as part availability or even exchanging an entire unit when required. Many retailers are considered "value-added" and this is precisely why.

LG has a great line of products, but even better products can break or fail. I'd like to assist. If you haven't already been taken care of, can you supply the retailer's information?

Unfortunately I can not find my original receipt. We bought this when we purchased our house about 4 years ago and I believe it was from Home Depot in Dawsonville, GA. However, I called them and they said they could not access records back that far. My refrigerator is still under warranty otherwise I would just have had a local person come out and fix it. The fact that the cooling element has broken just 4 years after purchasing it is disappointing as well. So without the "original" receipt I can not get reimbursed for the food I lost, the time off work that we have missed because of these scheduled repair times where nothing got fixed. I mean who keeps receipts for 4 years. This whole situation is frustrating and LG has me pinned down because it is under warranty and I don't have the extra money to just fix it independently. What happened to customer service. What should have happened is the parts should be shipped overnight to my home and they should have scheduled another technician to come out asap to fix it.
Ridiculous really as I still have no answers. I don't know if the correct parts have been ordered and I have no idea when someone is coming out to fix it.

LG Electronics lg fridge

I cant expalin how decietful and untruthful the LG customer service department is. I have been dealing with them for five months and I can honestly say that in all that period that have not once kept a promise. I would even go so far to say that they intentionally lie, to make you get off the phone as they are hoping you won't have the patience or peseverence to keep going.

Ou LG fridge broke down in early December. They promised it would be fixed within days, we even bought the extended warranty at their direction. After we bought the warranty they then told us it would take nine days for someone to show up. When the person showed up they diagnosed the problem, but didn't have the parts and told us someone else would show up to fix it.

When the second person showed up 7 days later they not only still didnt have the parts, but also told us even if they had they parts they weren't qualified to fix the problem. The third person, who was supposed to show up on December 24th, (Christmas Eve) just didn't bother to show up.

Throughout this period we were in constant contact with LG and they told us to buy a mini fridge ( we were entertaining family for the holidays) which we did. They said they would reimburse for the fridge as well as refund our warrant y payment.

When we finally had some come out to look at he fridge (January 7th, they fixed it) for us to only find out that the work was sub-standard and another person had to be to actually fix it. Close to six weeks after the original problem occurred.

Now it is April and we haven't recieved either a refund for the warranty, nor compensation for the fridge as promised. I spoke to LG today ( a woman called Myles) to be told that they were still processing our warranty payment, even though we have emails from mid January saying it would be processed in six weeks. And that now they wouldn't pay for the mini fridge, unless we could provide a receipt for the original LG fridge. Given it's about 8 years old we don't have that receipt. but at no time did anyone tell us, either when we got direction to buy the fridge or when they told us that our payment was being processed, that we needed that receipt.

Once again lies, lies and more lies from LG. Shocking

LG Electronics lg 4k smart tv

We purchased a lg tv, smart 4k tv july 2018.in february the wireless r feature stopped working. I called lg on march 6, 2019. After going through many many settings etc with lg on the telephone, it was determined I needed a new wireless card installed, l g set me up with a technician.. Windsor electronics. I received a call from the electronics office on the 6th, and was told they would be here to repair the problem on march. 11th.. Another call to the techs... the piece (part] was I but the technician was working the maryland area, they would call and let me know when he would be down in the north carolina area, probably the following week. Have not heard from them since, I can't even get anyony on the telephone, and i've tried and tried,

Yesterday 3/24/19 I called lg again. The checked around and basically said I they noted indicated the list show it still repaired and I would have to wait until someone contacts me.

The tech company assigned to my problem is in love vs, and I live I holden beach nc.. That's a 4 hour drive. There must be technicians closer than that, also there should be courtesy enough to call and explain the hold up. It had been 4 weeks since thus problem began. I insisted on buying lg products, but that loyalty is fast going out the

LG Electronics microwave

The microwave was still working but unable to heat, I was confused when on the phone they said that the maintenance cost will be 160 LE and should not be deducted from the service, while the service center told me it should be deducted from the total.
finally the worker came and simply replaced the fuse and took 450 LE while the cost of the fuse is usually 5-6 LE only, I didn't complain and paid, unfortunately after using it 3 times the same problem occurred, another worker came saying that we need another spare part for 1250LE in addition to the 450 that was already paid while it was the same exact problem. I refused and asked them to return the money back, they said that now the check-up service is for 230 LE, after negotiation they said its for 200 then the call center said it's for 192.
In conclusion dealing with LG service center was so frustrating, unprofessional employees, bad service and also I can name it as stealing.
My microwave is not working, because of simple fuse, and they want to make a big deal out of nothing just to take money.

LG Electronics lg k20 and charger

I bought 2 LG K20 last month 4/15/19, and shortly after I bought them the external speaker stopped working after I plugged it into the charger cord it came with. Unfortunately a few days after that I was in a car accident and have not been able to get over to the location that I bought it from. On top of that tonight I went over to the phone cord and smoke was rising up from it and the tip of the cord was melted and almost caught my house on fire. It wasnt plugged in that long. I was getting ready to charge my phone. This is the cord that came with the phone so I have a faulty phone and a faulty cord that almost caught my house on fire very upset please email me at [protected]@gmail.com

LG Electronics repair

Yikes your customer service looks bad. I would agree my wife was having a problem with her LG phone turning off. It was under warranty so it was sent in. Her carrier was Virgin and you reset the phone and defaulted the carrier to Boost. So we get the phone back and can not even use it because of the changes you made. You told us to send it back for correction. It has now been sent back 4 times and you have yet to set her phone up with the correct carrier. She has not had a phone for 7 weeks. we have called the Philippine call center 23 times and have been told a supervisor would call us back 7 times and have yet to talk to one.

LG Electronics design defect of the washing machine

We bought a LG washing machine, model No. T2108VSAW on March 2nd, 2019. Once we started using the washing machine, we realized it couldn't spin the clothes properly. It generated a big turbulance when it was spinning my jacket and the spinning process stopped. The timer, which was around 9 minutes remaining, went back to 12 minutes and water flowed in to restart the rinse process. The washing machine kept repeating the same process because it could not get over the spinning process. As the video and the photo I uploaded, I washed only one jacket but the machine couldn't handle such a simple task.
I contacted the customer service.
When I was describing the problem, the customer service officer scolded me that I didn't know how to use the washing machine and we need to think carefully how to select clothes and put them into machine to make the spin work. How shameful that they blamed the customer to cover their own design defect. Are the customers expected to use a scale to weigh the clothes and a computer to calculate how many clothes shall be washed and what type of arrangement, in terms of shape and weight, to be put in the washing machine? I have never encountered an established company shirk its responsiblity and blame customer for their own design defect.

I would urge LG officer to contact us via email [protected]@gmail.com soon if LG is still serious about their company reputation.

Gentlemen:

I am writing in protest of your very poor aftersales service. Last May 2016, I bought an LG TV Model 55UG8700 - PA, with Serial number 505VNNVOX895 from SM Appliance, Savemore, Tacloban City, Philippines.

I used the TV set not too often (not even daily) as i am too busy with hospital work. Among the members of our household, I was the only one who regularly watched on said TV set as the others have their own.

Just a month ago, I noticed that the tv screen was "flickering". Despite some several basic troubleshooting attempts i was not able to get rid of the technical glitch. So came the technical personnel from Lapu-Lapu service center here in Tacloban as recommended by the store where i bought my tv. After the diagnostics i was told that the LED screen alone has to be replaced but the bigger problem was that the model has already been phased out of the market and so does the tv screen replacement. Hence, there was no way it could be replaced. The last thing the service center told me after they tried to exhaust everything to save my tv was that it can be replaced by a brand new screen with those circuit boards attached to it included. I was given a ray of hope BUT to my dismay again the price quoted for the replacement was a staggering Php 55K but with only 3 months warranty! You people from LG i would say are obviously not customer friendly!
THIS MUST BE A BAD JOKE - I will be paying much the same amount as the cost of a brand new unit with 3 months warranty only?

I was really dismayed, utterly disappointed! I blurted saying i can use that amount to buy a brand new tv set already with probably the same specs. I bought the TV set for Php 67K and to us who are not affluent, that is much money. I saved for a quality TV set ( or so I thought). When I shelled out that amount, I was i banking on the LG brand name trusting that I will get my money's worth. I was even convincing my colleagues and relatives to switch to your brand because it's the best. Indeed, I was wrong and i don't think i got my money's worth

And the very sad part is up to now i did not get any reply from LG Product Service and Support personnel despite several attempts of correspondence (Case number [protected]) which happened several weeks ago. In fairness to your customer service agents who answered my calls (Clyde, Nina and Riza), they very well entertained my concern and just told me that they're going to elevate the matter to the concerned personnel/supervisor. But LG simply left their customer hanging up to this writing! Hey, I am just a call away! This is indeed a dismal treatment from your end. My disappointment with you is even an understatement!

What kind of after-sales service do you have? Do you think I will ever buy an LG TV set again uncertain as to how long it will last? And that, if something happens to it, I will have no assurance that the model or the part is still available after a few years? I now have the same impresssion on your other appliances- refrigerator, washing machine, etc..

I know that the two-year warranty period has lapsed but still, I did not expect that after just a few months since the warranty, I can no longer use the TV set anymore.

I had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with you LG!

LG Electronics tv

This is what has been happening for 4 years now! I had a LG TV for three years and in that time span I had to replace the motherboard three times! I work paycheck to paycheck and I cannot afford a new tv. Plus the motherboard went out again. LG will not do anything for me. I am very frustrated and will never again purchase a LG product again. It would mean the world to me and my wife if you can send us a new 4K hdr 60 inch tv. I would review it online and everywhere that it's the best product ever! The LG was so bad I left it at the repair shop cause they said even if they put in a new motherboard it would definitely need a new motherboard eventually. The LG was poorly designed. They were only going to give me 20% which is $50-$100 a check from the difference. This is NOT good enough. I would like a 55 inch 4K HDR for free this once. I am over everything and would like a new tv now!

Dear lg team,
You need to listen the phone calls I had with the customer service today (my number is below) to know how your team treat women. Your agents were rude and insulting and were not concerned at all about your corporation.
I have furnished my apartment using the lg signature line at great expense, thinking I would get decent service. Today I was insulted, the service was not done I was charged. I was also told that I cannot expect lg maintenance to arrive on time, because they don't own planes!
Employees that were completely unbelievable, to the degree where I thought I was being pranked are the following:

LG Electronics warranty and service

I bought the LG Aircond on 20 Mar 2016 at BEST Point Furniture & Electric Sdn Bhd .

Problem 1 :The Aircond cannot cold and do a complaint to Best Point Shop a few time>only send person to come on 23th July 2018. The person come repair and said will send the receipt of charge RM250 for the replacement part, BUT the part didn't show to me . Ask again the receipt few time to the shop & the shop ask contact to that repair's person incharge (HP:[protected]). Ask few time and no reply also.

Problem 2: The aircond issue happen again -cannot cold, just surprise me after 6 months come again . I call again to the BEST POINT Shop but the staff told me unable to track back the issue and only the LG will lock the file . I really disappointed how come no record and said like this . Ask come repair and said after 11th Feb 2019 only will do a report to LG .

Problem 3:
The staff service come repair and charge again with RM40 which came lately evening and really bad service.

I really hope Sir/Madam can take seriously on this issue as such bad service . Hereby attach with the Shop name card and LG repair person contact.

I have big problem in Poland with repairing DVD player model LH- D6240 . I think that defect is very simple, because plate was locked inside . I tried to contact with your offices in Katowice but they reject possibility of repairing . Please contact me with another service point .

LG Electronics gas range lrg3081st

Bought my range from a reputable dealer while we removed our kitchen. Had to put everything on hold when husband learned he had cancer. Stove sat in a box for a year. Took our our brand new stove installed it and guess what the oven doesnt work. Called lg who said the brand new stove that's never been used is out of warrantee. Didn't care about anything else, just sorry your out of luck. Ok so we had it serviced and paid $360. The repairman said the igniter was bad. So basically I was sold an oven with a bad igniter and get stuck paying the bill. Never will I buy an lg produce again. Customer service doesnt care. Once its out the door your on your own with a lemon.

LG Electronics microwave oven

Bought an LG microwave in July of 2018, on the front of the thing, it says, big as day 10 year warranty. Last week (this February, 2019), the applicance started smoking and we thought it would catch fire. When I did some research, that people complained about this problem with their microwaves. I contacted LG customer service and was told the microwave did not qualify for in home repaird. After providing the necessary information was told the request for a refund would be submitted to another department and I would be contacted within 3 days. Unfortunately, for me, the only way to get a refund was to buy another LG microwave and send them a copy of the receipt. Why would I want to take the chance to get another defective appliance? Not an option for me. It would be better for them not to sell defective merchandise. LG just lost another customer.

And after 20 days @ 1/1/2019 I found that lg sent to me used oled tv from the tv menu and its used 410 hours and when I call lg customer service to exchange the tv with a new one they lies and scam with unethical behavior through their technical support they doesn't want to exchange me to their internal manager who used this oled tv and sell it as new one as scam
Ts want to made me belive that me using this tv for 400 hours!
And after that there is flicker + frame delaying @ my oled tv picture + sometimes it goes to lowering oled brightness especially @ football matches it goes dark
After i've told them this they still want to scam as they sent an ignorant technical support doesn't have any any technical device to diagnose my oled tv or an calibrator device to check if there is as I see flicker or frame delay
All what he've done is do nothing except scam
And @ every question he answer as a robot : the tv is good
Check it with any device : the tv is good
Check on tv hour : the answer I don't mind "the tv is good
And then they told me after slowing me for a month oopps
400 hours for a month and half not seen as the device is used (they want to let me forget that 400 was @ 20 days) scam" scam " scam

And in my country i've customer protection agency of egypt with a law that forced any seller to exchange any product through 30 days without any reasons

And lg headquarter want to scam me but i've started using my legal procedures over lg global (south korea) + lg egypt

LG Electronics service and head office problem

Dear lg head office, ı am writing this e mail from turkey istanbul. I bought a wash machine last year thats capacity is 10, 5 kg washing 7 kg drying. Sınce ı bought the machine ıt ıs working too noisy and the clothes are getting washed properly. We made our registration to turkey lg. But their behaviour agaginst the customer is as if we are an enemy. The first thing they say ıs ıt can be a consumer fault you have to pay. How can a wash machines problem be a consumer fault when you wash ıt regularly ın one year period. I have been using wssh machine since 25 years. My last wash machine was a miele which ı used for 24 years. I thought lg ıs also as good as miele but ıt had problen ın the first year and lg turkey is always demading payment to fix this problem and is not taking care to the customer. When I bought the wssh machine 1 year ago the company which lg turkey send us to set the machine sold us a fountain connection and a detergant with very high prices. They said ıf you dont buy these things we can not give you guarantee. So we had to buy these things. Now ı made a phone call with lg turkey. They said to me that ıf someone sold you something while setting the machine ıt ıs your problem! Even lg turkey send this official service to set the machine. They only sell the wash machine but after selling it the service is the worst service that ı saw ın my life. Please try to fix these ıssue with lg turkey otherwise ı will go to court to get my rights officially
