Many customers get angry at the employees when they have to wait a long time for their food. By the way did they notice only 3 employees on the floors moving as fast as they can, sweating and on top of that getting payed minimum wage. Mcdonald supervisors and owners don't care about their crews, managers or probably even their own mothers. They only care about making money. employees don't get good benefits, payed vacations, holiday pay, sick days, They get nothing just more stress and headaches from ungrateful customers and supervisors and the supervisors supervisor and the owner himself. Me personally i work at mcdonalds and move very slow on purpose. Giving customers the worst service possible in hopes that they don't come back. Guess what complains complains complains but you still come back. So why complain eat your nasty fries fried in 2 month old oil. and drinks your sweet tea which i personally stirred myself with the plunger. An yes when food falls we pick it up and keep it moving.get us mad we spit on burgers. How can this job be taken serious. have you seen my paycheck. i do all the work while Mr Melton and his Henchmen collect the earnings. We need at least decent pay to start caring about this job for god sakes the guys a billionaire. Mcdonalds is modern day slavery. What do you think keeps the dollar menu going. Employees Breaking their backs working two or three positions at the same time just to keep the labor low. Guess what my Christmas bonus was? You guessed it nothing not even a thank you. So I'm just sharing a little information with you. Next time you go to Mcdonalds take a closer look. Am I lying?

I have been at McDonalds for 2 years and I am in managment training right now. We have someone at my work place that reminds me of you. He don't do his job correctly and does things at his own speed. - Kristina Beverly

well miss kristy beverly... you have not much experience either when you started at 18
and your just assuming that just because you are slow does not mean i am.. i was one of the best workers there at mcdonalds.. also having to put up with the nonsense and political malarky and the little nit picking things that didnt matter... im the only one that did things no body elsedoes or would do and they only used me for those things they didnt want to do when it was thier job

Dear [censor],

Please consider suicide. Society would benefit greatly from that decision.

I dont know what it is like being an employee of McDolalds but I do know what it is like being an independent contractor ice machine service technician who has been called out to at least 15 different McDonalds restaurants in the Los Angeles area over the last 5 years. They dont pay on time. Never! Not once has any of the 15+ restaurants that I have serviced their ice machine ever paid without out having to be contacted after 45 days of fixing their ice machines and that will go on for 3 or 4 more months. I am convinced that if I didnt stay on top of them by making 3, 4 or 5 phone calls during a 120 day period & faxing copies of the service invoices over and over at their request, they would not pay me for my skilled technical labor or materials. I have to call them several times to remind them of their obligation to pay me for my ice machine repair service. Furthermore, I have never seen a clean ice machine and 80% of the time the ice machine has failed because it needs to be cleaned & sanitized. To this day, I still receive calls from many various McDonalds restaurants in the Los Angeles regarding the ice machines but I refuse to service them because they dont want to pay and make it very difficult to get paid for services I've rendered. McDonalds is the worse customer I have ever had to deal with. If you eat there, you pay them before theygive you the food. But if you provided services for them, they pay you when they feel like it. Usally 3 to 6 months later. Ray Kroc can kiss my [censor].

Ive been working for mcdonalds for nearly 3 yrs now. And quite honestly i feel like quitting. I used to work very hard for mcdonalds always rushing around from start to finish until i feel like im gona collaspe. But it seems like im always treated like crap. They say im slow, lazy, and un motivated. even tho im more or less the same speed as one of the golden boys that all the managers like and havent got a bad word to say about him, just because he ### licks them.. When the managers know that im on chicken side when i get a order on the screen 5 secs later they be screaming at me HOW LONG, and start talking to other managers how slow i am. But i know im not because i time how long i make the food and how long the golden boy makes the food and im actually a bit faster than he is. so i just dont get it. So they usually just put me on fries. now they say im slow on their too even tho im always making 1000 pounds an hour on the busiest days. so they take me off their and replace me with the golden boy which dosent and he always getting praises. Im always workig unsociable hrs and rarely see my friends because when i start they are finishing work and by the time im finished they are asleep. if i ask them too cut down my hrs they will give me just 2 or 3 days in spite. My friend works there he used to get 5 days now he only get 1 day because the manager that does schedule dosent like him, luckily he has another job now. Mcdonalds is not a nice place to work because it lowers your confidence and makes you feel like your not worth ###. Its more like mind control and bullying at the same time, and im only here because ive got a loan i need to pay off. I guess just because im shy person they think that they can treat me like $%^$. Im just looking for another job hopefully i can get out of this hell hole.

Every employer should be have a certain level of responsibility towards their employees. My son works as a closer and works his butt off to compensate for being left shorthanded. He tells me that they are threatened to work their shifts when they are sick, despite the health risks to the customer. Recently, he had a manager harrass him while working about a personal issue that had nothing to do with his employment. After two hours of busting his butt, while having to listen to this manager he finaly blew up at her. She, in turn, sent him home. As he walked the 45 minute walk home, he was called back to work, after a brief oppology.
He is forced to take his lunch break one hour into his 8 hour shift. At the end of the night, he is expected to clock out but remain n the building (off the clock), while the closing manager finishes her work.
McDonalds may be a big company and may be popular in many cultures, but apparently they haven't learned that they do not follow outside the realms of a lawsuit. A law suit is right around the corner because of these managers that chose to pick and chose what labor laws and public health regulations they will follow in order to satisfy their own greed.

McDonalds is an Amazing place and a great company. Melton management however is the issue. They do not mange there restaurants well, do not treat the employees well, do not treat the customers well, and the quality is poor. When you go to a non melton manged store you know the difference.

I would just like to say that McDonalds is a Great Employment opportunity. It is a very fast paced and active job! It seems to be that your attitude is the only thing affecting your work place! Have you also taken into Consideration whether or not your corp or McCoOp? There are several factors that come into play how busy is your store? How good are your times when your rush hours are? What are your waste levels? The fact that theres bills to pay! How good of a worker you are? Which in all seriouness dosent seem to be too good of a worker when you'd write such horrid things such as the plunger or dropping food! McDonalds is very animate about Service and Quality. While I will agree THAT MANY MANAGERS DO WORRY ABOUT LABOR TO MUCH AND SKIP BREAKS BECAUSE OF THEIR "BOSSES". Which is a major problem in many McCoOp stores but not normally in a Corp. This is because most owners normally only care about their money and are never in their stores ALL OWNERS REALLY NEED TO REALIZE AND FOCUS AND BUILDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! When managing a floor they need to realize that running a couple of hours of "high" labor will be made up for during a rush if properly staffed. Currently at our McDonalds from focusing on building service we have improved our sales and times drastically and no longer have to worry about high labor. My suggestion Ignore Labor entirely from 8:00am until 7:00pm doing so and having a fully staffed floor will make a huge differance and will encourage more customers in coming to your store because the service is so quick! During non rush hours if labor is high GIVE OUT BREAKS it only makes sense. The more customers you can pull in and get out the more money you will make. From running a high labor I can say that during a rush were now able to pull in 2x-3x the money in one rush hour than during down hours! after 7:00pm normally is when Id worry about labor becuase sales drop usually until around 9:00 or so normally around this time you can handle the short mini-rush without a problem!

no where else is hiring either.. and its just the basic principle of the thing and the moral responsibility they have to let people work there when they need to.
they dont have flexible hrs there like they say..
but anyway, there is no reason to try ti find some thing else when i could be doing just as good as the others and getting what i need... all they got to do is limit the hrs the others get and so other people can work when they need to. its .. i been fighting this thing for 4 yrs now. its not $#@$ right

i been mcdonalds now for 4 and a half yrs..
.. and i been there now than most of them there.. but im the one who gets put on the back burner so the " beaners " or rather the spanish people there get all the time they want.. but if tell them i need to they just laugh at me... but. Most everyone of them spanish people down there

are getting 10 hrs everyday down at work

with ofcorse 1 or 2 days off, a few are getting 12 hrs

mary still getting 6 hrs everyday, for 4 days.

Me... they got down always having two - 4 hr days and two - 7 hr days

and off for 4 days.. and even when i try to go down to work, because i need to

even when they dont have anyone and ther place is a pig pen, they wont let me..

because they think its funny & the scedule is god,, all they got to do is put me on it

like i need to be and should be and shorten the hours of the other people.

they dont need to be getting no 10 hrs every day.

besides i have more of a right to work there than they do.

i saw the scedule last night and had a good look at it..

and they all getting 10 hrs.. some getting 9 , but most 10.

it because they spanish, and have a " click " thing going on with one of the managers.

and they go playing cry baby when they dont get much time..

if i did that the managers would laugh at me..
but most probably all of them bringing home
$400.00, $500.00 and one is getting $678.00 every pay day... but they dont pay any taxes.. but they are illiegal but no one wants to admit it or put a stop to it.
something is going to be done about it, and they can not do anything about it either. i just need help to do it... i need to work and they can not tell me no because they think it is funny
i got 5 websites but one of them has the working laws in it.

McDonalds is an amazing place to work. It is actually one of the top 50 Employers in Canada. www.worksforme.ca

We offer crew incentives, advancement, flexible hours and a good time. Paid training is also a plus.

I worked for McDonalds all through high school, it was a good first job. I kept working there doing the best I could do because I have a few morals and a good work ethic. I continued my education and moved on. Get off your lazy ### learn a trade, or go get some kind of education so that you can move on. The pay at McDonalds is very good for a no skill, no motivation, lazy and yes stupid, which you sound to be very much just that stupid. X-mas bonus? Are you insane? Why should an employer give any bonus for any employee that is as unproductive as you unthankful as you? Your not forced to work at Mcdonalds, you can leave any time you want. Want a job with better pay? Get off your lazy ### and work for it, prove to an employer your more than just a body sucking air.

It sounds like you need to find a new job. I know a gentleman who owns a couple of McDonald's and he is the most giving person I know and would do anything for an employee. For example he has helped some through college. He also started working with McDonald's right where you did, 35 years ago he was just a crew member and now he owns several. My suggestion to you would to find a new job, there is no point in wasting your time or ours, find something that you want to do.

As a manager I have to disagree. I bust my ### to make sure my crew get their breaks and ###, I just got off a shifty where we were down 2 people due to a quitter and a scheduling error, and I worked 2 positions all night. Maybe it makes a difference that i came from the crew and became a mgr... but there is a chance of actually delivering "QSC&V" you gotta work at it. If you move slow on purpose, you dip ###, you will get complaints. Buck up chump... or get a real job. lol McD's is a real job, but try mill work, framing roofing or logging, if you cant hack it at McD's your prolly a stoner and gonna fail life... just quit punk, we don't need a** hats like you... :P
