Party City pet costume

A young lady asked me if I needed help I told her yes I have. 10lb puppy that needs a costume so she told me I recommended a M/L then it didn't fit so I called to the store see if I can exchange for a size S due to not fitting the costume. I still wanted to make the purchase but an exchange of size that was it and he said no it's our policy you can't exchange. It's very upsetting cus I'm giving my business my time to party city and they turn me down like that (final sale) I didn't spend less money on a expensive costume that my dog can't even use now. Be more considerate for pets party city!

Party City employment law violations

Store #691 does not allow managers or key holder positions a 30 minute uninterrupted unpaid meal break after 6 hours. Employees are required to answer manager calls (returns, exchanges, e.t.c ) during the time the are supposed to be "at lunch". In the event that they cannot take a lunch, they are still docked for that time. This is a violation of employment law and the practice has been going on for years.

Party City the store and manager

The store is a wreck, I couldn't even get a costume because they said they didn't have it out yet. The boxes in the store are ridiculous like how are we suppose to shop with everything blocked and not put out on the floor yet. I blame the general manager stephany she's lazy and pushes the associates to do everything for her, this used to be a decent party city and now I even hear other customers complain. The store needs a new person to change it around.

Party City helium balloons

I had ordered the very expensive helium balloons that are supposed to last over 24 hours for my son that was turning 30 years old. I spent 93.87 on 8-16-19 at 6:35 pm and the party was on 8-17-19 at 1:00pm and they were flat and on the ground. I complained and nothing was done about it. I am VERY disappointed and it totally ruined the decorations for the party!

Party City no helium

The party City by my house is almost always put of helium when I go there. This is unfortunate bc of how convenient it would be to go here to buy balloons for my son but I am forced to go farther to Walmart bc I'm tired of being turned away. I would understand if once in a blue moon mistakes happen, but when it's so frequent I must conclude this is the result of incompetent management. They can't even be bothered to give me an ETA on when a new shipment will be made but instead just shrug me off. Please fix this or I will stop even attempting to go here. Thank you

Party City helium balloon tank

I purchased a Helium Balloon tank on August 14th (along with several other items for a surprise party I was throwing for the 23rd of August. The tank ran out of helium after 9 balloons. I brought the tank back to the store in Avon on the 26th where I was told that if the box was opened they would not give me a refund. The assistant manager (Tiffany )then proceeded to tell a clerk that mine was the second tank returned for the same reason. It didn't matter to Tiffany that the tank was almost empty when I bought it (or she simply thought I was lying). The fact is your store sold me (and perhaps others )Helium tanks that were already used.I didn't keep the reciept but I do have my bank statement showing the purchase to Party City . I expect a refund .

Party City birthday photo blln teen girl

I ordered a personalized photo balloon online and it ripped when I attempted to blow it up with a helium machine. I cannot use a ripped balloon. It was for my boss on his birthday and now I have nothing to give him and I was left with the responsibility to do so. I even paid for UPS 2nd Day Air which was an additional $19.99. Party City tiara price different at register from shelf price

We have pictures of the tiara (on the left) my daughter wanted in a bin that said 16.99 and when we got to the register Johnathan rang it up as twice the cost. I told him the price on the shelf/bin was not that and he called the manager. The manager came out with a different tiara and said this was the cheaper one and that the one we had wasn't labeled yet. I told him it was in the bin with a clearly marked price on the shelf for 16.99 and he said well that one is more expensive. I reminded him of the Florida law of false advertising and he laughed and made a comment. I told him I will be contacting corporate and BBB and he said whatever or something to that effect. If false advertising, improper inventory and price labeling is how Party City runs the business we will never shop here again. I will be contacting BBB and other retail authorities re: misrepresenting products to young children. The price should be on each and every item if your not willing to honor the price on the shelf that the item is stored on. I have pictures and clearly told the manager he is wrong and the law was on my side but he insisted on not giving the tiara my daughter wanted without paying more. I refused and took the other one anyway to keep her happy. I will be contacting BBB, and social media to spread the word on how Party City doesn't care to do the right/legal thing and how they think they can get away with mislabeled pricing and gouge at the register since we don't see a printed price on the item. I'm mad and hope someone contacts me immediately before I start my social media campaign. This is not the first time, but definitely the last!

Party City balloons

I bought a balloon and was told by employee that they could air up it was 1 balloon after I bought a different employee said no to airing up. If a employee tells u one thing you expect to get it done or a manager to fix the issue. Then your website makes us type at least 3 hundred and fifty characters or you are not going to solve this issue. That needs to be changed

Party City helium charges & in-store customer service

I brought over the balloons that I had purchased personally else where because they were more unique than the ones available in the store and want to get them inflated (there were not too many places that fill balloons with helium around the area). I dropped off & paid on April8, 2019 and have specified for the pick up to be on April13 after 3:30pm. I arrived at the store on April13 around 5:00pm, but the people at the counter said they cannot find my balloons. They have the note there for my order, but no one has called me at all on that day. There were only 2 people at the front counter, and they were yelling at each other saying: where's the guy who's responsible for this order/he's gone already/not my responsibility already didn't get my break/have been busy all day...etc. They totally ignored the customers within the store. I was standing there furious because the balloon were for my dad's 70th birthday party, and they just seemed to be ignoring me. Finally a guy said he will try to replace me with what they have in the store. I just picked something similar to the ones I bought because I need the balloons like right away as I need to go decorate for the party. I submitted this complain online from their website, a representative did reply saying they will divert this to an appropriate person at that store, but then no respond whatsoever. I tried asking for a feedback again to the same person who replied me, but no reply again. I'm totally disappointed and furious as to how this store/business operates, and they seemed to be ignoring any complaints. I still have the receipt copy on hand.

Party City dream catcher cutie and native princess outfits

As a Native woman from the tribe that created the dream catchers, outfits and costumes such as this are extremely offensive. Not only is it not what our traditional regalia look like, but since they are meant to be worn by non native people they trivialize our culture and should not be sold in your stores. I will be sharing this online and refuse to shop in your stores until this is fixed.

Party City rude employee

Friday feb 8 2019 around 1:30 pm I went into party city at the address listed above and I was checking out at the front desk and I had a grey cart with me once my items where loaded on the counter I turned around a returned my grey cart back to where they all belong while my cashier checked my items out and I returned to the counter and paid for my items grabbed my bags and started heading out the door as I made it to the door the cashier yells at me "excuse me is this your buggy" and I turned and looked confused thinking no way that could be me since he saw me return mine but no I was wrong he was standing their staring at me and yelled again "is this your buggy" and I said no sorry you watched me return mine and now i'm embarrassed as he yelling at me from the counter to the door with a line up of people standing there everyone staring at me. This man was so rude and he could have said it in a nice way instead yelling at me like a child right after he watched me return mine and I know it was mine because mine was grey and he had a blue cart. For him to be the front end staff member and so rude is mind boggling I love the store but I just found that so disrespectful for no reason.

Party City items shipped late

Last Thursday (1/31) my mom placed an order for my baby shower which was to be Sunday (2/3). She paid for Next Day Air Saturday to make sure they would arrive on time. However, they arrived the day after my baby shower (2/4). I called earlier today and you agreed to refund me for the shipping which I really appreciate. However, I was planning to give the favors at the baby shower but now, I will have to pay further charges in order to ship them out to my guests. This is an extra expense I am forced to make due to Party City's unreliable shipping service. I would really appreciate if I could be refunded for the cost of the party favors. As for the remaining decorations, I will return them to the store as I will not be able to use them. Party City has been my go-to supplier for all my past events but I was very disappointed this time as it made my baby shower a very stressful experience. Thank you in advance.

Party City valentine's day merchandise order [protected]

When the package arrived at my home I immediately attached a "refused. return to sender" label with the return address attached sent to my Email and taped to package. The box was very large. I purchased very large items for The holiday. The amount was $17.57. Every bit worth it. Size is
36x24x8. Then handed it to the mailman. I also called the party city customer service number several times. More than 12 over the course of 12 days. I also answered and submitted the directions on the web page with all the information noted in the complaint. There is no one To talk to. That was January 14, 2019. Please respond. Thank you.

Party City balloons for a retirement party

Hello,

My name is Evelin Candelario ([protected]@njcu.edu) and I work for New Jersey City University and On Monday October 30, I went to party city in 440 in jersey city with my boss and we hand picked beautiful pearl white, pearl purple, pearlized lavender balloons. We ordered 48 balloons for $62.00. On November 2, the day of the event I sent two staff members to pick up the balloons that we hand picked because we were setting up and very busy and they were told that our balloons were given to someone else. Then they had to make 48 balloons on the spot and the balloons we received first were not pearl and most were not blown up collectly. It was a fast job and very unacceptable. When I saw them, I was trying to run back out to party city with the balloons but the food and everything else arrived. I was so busy so the staff who picked them up called to complain for me but she only mentioned that the white ones were not pearl but it was all the colors. We only received 5 white pearl balloons which were probably left over from our original order. So I went in person after work and spoke to Omar the manager and he spoke to Mel the district manager over the phone who was hidding in the back somewhere and said to Omar over the phone that he only approved the white ones when they called. I told Omar there was a miss communication and I would like to clearify it with Mel since I'm here in person and I was the person that ordered the balloons and I brought a sample of the actual balloons so you can see the balloons that I received. Then after a while of telling Omar I want to speak to Mel the district manager he popped up out of no where and I explained to him that I have brought the balloons with me so he can see for himself what I received. He said I made the pearl balloons myself. And I said yes Mel and those beautiful balloons you made were given to someone else and I received these and I didn't order these and I was not able to return so he looked like he understood my pain but then he said well you must have gotten some pearl balloons so I'm going to meet you half way and refund half. I only received 5 pearl white balloons that were probably left over from our original order all others were doll colors and low quality balloons and very unacceptable. Party city messed up big time by giving our balloons to someone else and by being very disorganized and then they gave us the wrong ones and it's our fault. I'm not satisfied with meeting me half way. The balloons were supposed to be the highlight of the retirement party and instead I got balloons that looked like Barney. Im not happy with the outcome and I work for a university and it would be more of a loss for party city to lose our university as costumers than just having good customer service and doing the right thing by at least meeting me all the way with full refund instead of half way. I don't like to argue so I just left unsatisfied with the outcome but I'm the type that I will take this to the top if i have to.

Hope you understand my concern and I'm writing this because I dont want anyone else to go through this. Party city needs to be more careful and own up to their mistakes. It's not acceptable! Please, who ever is in charge of party city and the district manger in 440 jersey city have them check the balloons before giving them out to any random person getting same color balloons. Talk to Mel tell him if someone doesn't get what they ask for don't make them pay for something they didn't order. It's not right. I went in there with prof and it still wasn't enough for Mel. I didn't even get an apology for their error.

Party City a stolen phone at a party city store.

On October 30, 2018 I was last minute Halloween shopping, I tried on a costume at the fitting room and left my purse in there went around the corner the cane back with other people inside the fitting room I knocked and said that I had left my purse inside and they gave my purse with my phone missing, as I proceeded to report the stolen item to muhtie employees nothing was done all they did was say they would notify their employees just Incase the saw it but never asked what phone it was my name my phone number, they didn't ask what had happened didn't even ask the people inside or question them since it might be a little obvious they were the next people in after me, I believe in such circumstances a robbery should be taken more seriously atleast an employee come with me to check around the premises ask the people and question them if they saw anyone, instead they did nothing and I myself had to offer my information before leaving to which they could contact me, I believe party city should or does have a protocol to follow with such situations as I'm considering putting a police report for this incident.

Party City pending charges

I attempted to place a order on party city online website 10/24. I tried once and received a error message saying it can"t be processed not thinking I tried a second time and got the same message. I called and on the recording they stated a hold is placed on your account once you his submit even if it don't go through and the funds would be released within two days. The first charged was released the next day however the second charge is still pending a week later. I called them the say the needed a fax number to the bank to process the second charge. I called my bank they said they don't have a fax number to use it would have to be electronically like the first one. I called party city back again and they still say they need a fax number which my bank didn't have one to provide. Everyone is pretty much saying wait wait wait nothing they can do and if its not cleared in 3 more days the called back with a fax number ( which they don't have) . This is not a great idea and and not fair! It should be a better option of doing things or party city side. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING OFFLINE YOU JUST MIGHT BE IN MY SITUATION.

Party City wig/costume

I purchased a wig/costume for a Halloween party at a nearby PartyCity (Kenner, LA) a little over a week ago. When I purchased it, I asked if I could return it and they told me I could as long as I had the receipt. I ended up not needing it since I found a better one at spirit because the PartyCity wig did not fit well. The associates and the MOD Rhonda, seemed unconcerned about my dilemma. I was brushed off and told there was nothing they could do but an exchange, even though the receipt states otherwise. I was pretty upset at this point but it's frustrating when you do everything right and still get deceived. I read online after I left that I needed to return it by October 24th. I don't have a problem with that but it should be stated to all customers, especially when I asked. I told this all to Rhonda and the associates and she just said it's corporate policy. I really like PartyCity but I know longer want to shop here after this unpleasant experience. The manager on duty lacked empathy and common courtesy. I seriously hope this isn't the store Manager. She lacks basic social skills and gives poor customer service.

Party City seasonal return policy

I bought 2 costumes for $100 on October 24th 2018. I was not informed that if I took them home that day I would not be able to return them one day later, unworn, in original packaging. This is poor business and just wrong. If I had been told in the store that I would not be able to take them home, try them on, and return them when they did not even fit I would have never purchased them. I understand seasonal return policies but if you are not going to provide a fitting room to try them on in store then there needs to be some kind of grace. I have now spent $100 on costumes that will go in the trash.

Party City other

I placed an online order to have balloon kit ready for pick on Saturday, October 27, 2018. I received a called from the store to say that the balloon kit was out of stock. I proceeded to order a different kit but was told they are currently out of helium and don't know when they would be receiving any. I placed the order on Thursday for Saturday. Then I was referred to another location. Stop by the location on the way home and they seem to have plenty of helium.
