Sally Beauty Supply amelia henry

This woman is the manager of the sally beauty in Athol, Mass. I was informed by a worker that she has lied about me to her employees stating that I have stolen from the store (which is a lie because I have never stolen anything anywhere). She tells the employees to watch me every second when I am in the store. She also said that she witnessed me stealing from another store, which also never happened. She is extremely rude and unpleasant to me, other customers, as well as the employees. I have witnessed her hostile behavior on many occasions. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism as well as the childish behavior. The rest of the employees are lovely.

Sally Beauty Supply store manager in athol ma (amelia henry)

The store manager in Athol is rude and gossips like she is still in high school. She talks about customers and even spread slanderous rumors about my sister being a shoplifter! The unprofessionalism of this woman and the fact that she lied and said she saw my sister steal things from another store is disgusting. Her behavior is unacceptable on a daily basis and her employees have to apologize for her on her behalf. So much poor leadership and lack of integrity in one person.

I work here & she’s completely right with her statement. The customer she’s referring to is one of our loyal customers & is usually in and out. The manager here is pretty clueless in most situations..

Sally Beauty Supply sales clerk

I have shopped at sally's since the store opened and felt it was one of the best sally's I don't know what has happened in the last few months but it is not for the good. My Last three times in sally's the sales clerk Stormie has been setting behind register reading a book doesn't even ask me if I need help, the one time she did help me she said she had to answer her phone and walked away. I love shopping at sally's but feel I have to go somewhere else. You will not have a store long if you let this continue.

Sally Beauty Supply titanium pro curling iron damaged my hair

I've been using heated hair products for many years and never have I had such a reaction or devastating result as I did from the above mentioned product. I can prove the condition of my hair prior via extensive photos before and after. The thing changed the molecular structure of my hair and broke it off in two uses. I returned it, have documentation etc. The sales clerk insulted me, blaming my not using heat styling products with the curling iron. 1. It does not state that heat styling products are required for using this product. 2. I have heat styling products. I HAD GORGEOUS HAIR. Now, I have a wirey, confused mullet. I haven't made claim of these tragic events of my mane, due to the sheer annoyance of having to put up with some ridiculous dismissal of my claim, excuses, and unsatisfactory results. I'll be spending my time and resources to WARN ANYONE AND EVERYONE that you can't trust the safety of your hair with your company or it's styling products, aka Ion, finishing solutions. I've included a after, and several before photos. I have to wear a hat everywhere I go practically.

Sally Beauty Supply employee behavior

I went to Sally's last night and arrived at the door of Sally's at 8.54pm. As I was walking up to the door the employee was locking it and walked away. I knocked on the door and she kept walking to the very back into the "employees only" door and closed it.

I called the store several times back to back and she wouldn't not answer the phone.

Since when does a store advertise to be open until 9pm and out of convenience, close 6 minutes early. Stay open until your advertised time and serve your customers.

Sally Beauty Supply horrible customer service, unethical behaviour

To whom it may concern:

Hello, I don't normally feel compelled enough to make a complaint.. However I'm unable to ignore how I was treated at one of your locations lastnightt.. The poor customer service is astonishing to me and I feel it isn't right to allow someone to treat me the way I was treated without saying something to someone of authority to perhaps resolve the issue..

On February 12, 2019 at 3:48 pm I purchased a T-outliner replacement blade.. and was treated with good customer service! I had asked if I'm able to return a pair of clippers I had just bought on Monday and was told yes of course bring them in, just make sure you have the original receipt! .. However I went back later that night around 6:30pm to return the pair of clippers and it was a horrible experience..

On February 12, 2019 at approximately 6:30pm I went in to return a pair of Wahl 5 Star Seniors clippers at one of your Canada locations located 1241 Barton St. E unit Q7 in Hamilton ONT, Canada

When I arrived later that night I had asked one of the girls working that I'd like to return these pair of clippers or if I'm able to refund my money because I think these pair are defective as they were loud and vibrate more than the original pair of Wahl seniors that I have at home.. I had asked if It's possible plug a pair in to see if they run okay before buying them.. before she could reply there was another girl who I saw earlier that day had came up and say it's store policy we're not allowed to open and plug them in, so I replied with that's fine I'll just refund them and then handed the girl I was originally speaking with my receipt.

Now this is where things got interesting..

The other girl who rudely interrupted had aggressively grabbed a pair of clippers off the shelf and plugged them into the wall and turned them on and said with attitude "They sound fine to me, wanna come around here and see for yourself?!" .. I kindly said "No that's okay.."

At this point I just wanted to refund my money as I already handed my receipt to the nice girl who was originally helping me.. She then continues to grab another pair of clippers and turn them on and hand them to me.. I told her I'm not interested in buying another pair of clippers right now I'll have to think about which one I want first..

She then continued to upsell me to exchange for another pair of clippers and I just felt more uncomfortable.. the vibe I was getting from her was bad.. the NICE girl said she doesn't know how to do the refund because I originally paid $160 in cash and the remaining on debit.. So the RUDE girl called their manager and explained what was going on.. their manager said to give it all back to me in cash (as I could hear her on the phone)

When she got off the phone she said well we don't have money to give you cash were going to have to do debit.. I told them I can't do debit.. So she called their manager again and I could hear their manager on the phone saying there's enough cash just give her refund in cash!

Now I'm starting to get irritated but I wasn't saying anything.. I felt this girl was doing everything she could not to refund my money.. and instead make things difficult.. The NICE girl started counting the cash and handed me $100 and it was still short $80 the nice girl asked to recount what she gave me so she doesn't get confused.. Now the rude girl said well where's the f**king money she gave you then?

I was shocked.. I was so upset and didn't know what to do, I tried to open my wallet to give her the $100 that was handed to me my nerves were so bad the zipper on my wallet got caught on a receipt so I had a hard time opening it so she saw the frustration on my face and I sighed.. She replied with what's the f**king problem? Why are you giving f**king attitude we're just trying to give you your f**king money alright!?

I replied with I wasn't giving you attitude I couldn't open my wallet and was getting frustrated I never even said a word to you! She then replied with well I can tell your giving me f**king attitude with that look on your f**king face alright and leaned over the counter and told me to get the f*ck out of her store and continued to swear at me.. I obviously got upset and said I wasn't giving you f**king attitude I was having a hard time opening my wallet and I never even said a f**king thing to you so I don't know how I gave you attitude if I never even said anything!

I also said look, I'm sorry if it looks like my facial expressions was giving attitude but I had a long day and you should calm down.. She then said yeah I had a long day too we've been slow all f**king day..

At this point I was so upset I couldn't even count the remaining amount of money that was handed to me so I had to ask my boyfriend to make sure it was all there! She replied with see here we f**king go! My boyfriend had to say look you're getting out of hand now..

After that she then walked away and continued to drag it on saying how slow the day was and they're trying everything to help blah blah blah.

When originally I wasn't even talking to her in the first place.. she had no reason to interrupt or "help" and should've let the other girl do her job!

When we walked out the nice girl said I'm sorry about this and have good night!

...I still never got a refund receipt so I was unable to give you the transaction number or any information on that transaction..

For someone who says she's only worked there for four months should be reminded that costumer service is priority number one.. There's cameras in the store, I'm sure if they were asked to run the tapes they'll see how poorly I was treated.. Everything is taped.. I will never be returning to this store..

Now, I'm not sending this to get anyone in trouble..I understand people have bad days and deal with problems in their lives differently.. I'm just sending this to inform you that some of your employees make customers uncomfortable.. and it makes people never want to go back.. I'm not the only one who feels this way.. there's google reviews on this location about how poorly staff treat customers..

Certain employees at this location should be educated in customer service then maybe people would feel comfortable enough to shop there and they wouldn't be complaining about how "slow" the day was..

As someone who loves all things beauty, loved going to Sallys.. Now I'll be bringing my business elsewhere due to how I was treated tonight.. Originally I wanted to make a google review and post the video I have of her yelling at me.. but I felt that wasn't the right thing to do.. I've never been treated like this in a store in my life and never felt more attacked either.

I'm sorry to whoever has to read this nonsense.. But I'm at a loss for words..

Sally Beauty Supply hired someone with a criminal record.

I was there in Worcester Mass training as a manager for another store. I found out one of her employees just got out of jail. She told me no one knew and she hired her knowing that she was in jail over 31 years on a murder charge! I found out and I was mortified! I felt uneasy working there something about her just gave me the chills. We had a meeting with the manager of lost prevention and our district manager, they all loved this woman and actually made her assistant manager that day. I asked the manager and said can she be a manager with a criminal background? Her answer was I told them about it meaning the district manager and loss prevention knows she was a murderer and still let her be an assistant manager! This is sickening to me and I think Sallys needs to do a better job at screening people. I am no longer with the company because I supposedly took too many breaks because I worked over 55 hours a week! I want to know who to talk to about the situation? Sally Beauty Supply service - racism

On Friday 1.25.19 my husband dropped me off at the front of Sally's less than a mile from my house. I am a recent survivor of an attempted murder attack and as such have issues walking. He parked and came in. The sales associate asked him once he entered (6'2 360 and a dark skinned black man) " What are you doing here?' Once my husband informed me of what happened I contacted the store manager (who never got back to me), Customer service (who called after one week, and several calls to state there was nothing she could do the sales associate denies the comment) and the corp office (I spoke to a legal AA and my info taken but nothing done)

When the call center finally calls me back she tells me that there is nothing she can do they looked into and the assoc states she never spoke to your husband.

I am SICK about this... how can in 2019 the color of your skin mean more than service, kindness, heck even the all mighty dollar.

You would think that even if she felt this way she would have kept silent if only for the profit...

Well, Sammy at your Largo Florida store has lost my business and as a member of several large black female based organizations I hope the business of every WOC that stands for equal treatment...

Sally Beauty Supply overall store management and millennium management attitude

I worked at the Viera store in Melbourne Florida or store #3999 to those in the know. The job and fellow beauty advisors were great to work with. However the manager Stephanie is a nightmare. Stephanie basically sat in back or stood behind counter. She was sneaky as also whenever we got sample sachets to give to customers, Stephanie just put them in the storeroom. After a few months, Stephanie would then put a clearance sticker on the samples for 39¢. Stephanie also eats lunch in her office with same sex partner. Many times have I heard about Chris Brickman. Apparently as a 22 year old lesbian, Stephanie Steele is convinced that Mr. Brickman is a Trump supporter and she is not getting a promotion because she is a lesbian. Btw a fellow colleague and I did not answer our phones in our respective days off. We were fired for an incident which occurred a month prior to this. As a member of many community based organizations, I am vocal about what happened and many people are boycotting Sally s Beauty. Good luck to a lazy millennial who runs a store for 13$ an hour.

Sally Beauty Supply poor customer service

Today I went to the Sally's store in Allentown on Mill Creek RD. My daughter and I were the only ones in the store. No one asked if they could help us find anything. Once we got to the register Crystal was holding a conversation with the other employee. She never asked if we found everything ok, never asked for my beauty club card, and never said thank you. When my daughter asked for their names they gave it with an attitude. This location is closer, but I will be more than happy to take my business else where.

Sally Beauty Supply complaint against tonya, store representative at store 3727, vicksburg, mississippi

Sunday, December 9, 2018 at approximately 3:15 - 3:30 pm

Tonya, the attendant and Denise is her supervisor.

My wife and I came in to buy to hair rinse, texturized, color and hot iron products.

My wife indicated Tonya had a "I don't want to be bothered, short attitude on the phone when she called in prior to our store visit, to see if Sally's had the rinse product she needed but decided to dismiss it and come in anyway.

From the beginning Tonya postured as if she had something better to do. She was standing half way around the corner as I addressed her. Seeing that she wasn't going to be personable, I decided to come to here. My wife and I were the only two customers in the store at the time and remained this way for the duration. (Watch the tape).

I tried asking Tonya what I needed to know about the result I desired for my hair and the hair products that would get me there. She was very short with me and it was clear that she didn't want to help me. I was not understanding her answer at all. May be because she was using interchanging terms about rinses, texturizers and relaxers. I felt that she could've helped me but she just simply refused to stating that she wasn't going to do any research on the question either, even after I asked her to. (See video attached)

She just simply said she was not going to help me and that I'm the only customer she had problems with.

I'm a male who had questions about products I was interested in buying and wasn't understanding what she was saying. I asked about two products I could use in the same day if I wanted to color my hair and texturize or perm in the same day what would those two product lines and choices be, best for me? It was that simple.

After many times of me asking she said that males don't generally ask these type questions so she doesn't know and will not research it. I asked if she would for me as I could be a repeat customer but needed her professional advice. She stated once again, firmly "NO!". She said she doesn't know and she's not willing to do the research and then had the Gaul to tell me that even if her supervisor asked her to research it she wouldn't and she doesn't care.

She even said "Imma still git my check whether you buy something or not!"
She said all this before my recording; among other things not in the video I recorded but my wife can testify to It all.

Poor! I give my experience today a "0" at Sally's. I will post a review and send this to Sally's Headquarters. The tape will reveal that she knew that she was wrong and lost 2 customers in the process. See for yourself. My wife and I decided to go to Walmart and spend the $90.00 we would've spent at Sally's and we don't plan on going back. In my opinion she should be terminated as I am a business owner of 36 years and would have not tolerated this behavior.

Sally Beauty Supply employee knowledge

I usually purchase hair products from Sally's. Usually a good experience. However, on my most recent visit to the store located in North Brunswick, NJ I was very dissatisfied.
I asked questions in regards to a charcoal max. Later found out the answer was incorrect. I also purchased hair in the same visit. I asked in regards to quality, heat resistance and application tools needed. The employee not on didn't know answers to my question, but the other employees were too busy moving and cleaning shelves to help answer.
Long story short, attempt to have knowledgable employees. Employees who at least act like they want to be there.

Hey I was at the Sally's yesterday doing a delivery and the employee who goes by the name of Spirit made it very clear she didn't like my presence and waited the other delivery driver back, she was really unprofessional and wasn't helpful at all as I made my delivery I've been delivering to several Sally stores and this is the first time I've felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome Dagestan seemed to be disappointed from the time she noticed that a new driver came to deliver I don't know what she may have going on with the other driver or was it just a race thing but all I wanted to do was get my deliveries done and get out of there as quickly as I possibly could please check into your employee at that store in Morehead City, NC address is 5136 US-70 ste g phone number is [protected]. Sally Beauty Supply unethical regional manager & employee

Recently one of the best supervisors I've ever had the chance to work with was terminated because the Regional Manager Jake Bell believed Tracy Richardson from the Maize, Ks store that our DM was not doing her job, intimated employees and broke the team apart. This is so not true! Tracy has been trying to get our DM fired since she started because she believed she should be the DM. I know this for a fact because she tried to get me to lie about our DM months ago! Tracy is notorious for the rumors, gossip and trouble she starts. I just can't believe that our Regional actually believed her! This DM helped me thru some pretty rough times at work and she's the ONLY reason why I stuck with it. She tried to get the team to work together and wanted to stop all gossiping not tear us apart like Tracy said. Think about it...the DM is responsible for the entire district, why would she want us to not work together to make it better? I believe strongly that everyone should be treated fairly and with respect and this company let this woman throw one of the best people ive ever worked for under the bus! Our DM was wonderful to all of us! She taught my team and I so much about selling, teamwork and merchandising! WHY would this company not investigate this lie? If anyone would've called me or members of my team they wouldve known that we think our DM was incredible! I know I'm not the only manager that feels this way. I also know that no one wants to go up against Jake as he's so intimidating! He made one of the new managers cry after his visit and she ended up quitting because she was scared he was just going to fire her anyway. Please investigate this further. I recently talked to our DM to tell her how sorry I was to hear that she was treated do unfairly. She told me that the company didn't even tell her exactly what she did that was so awful that termination would be the first option! This district was finally getting back on the right track and because of this, I hope the entire district goes back down hill to show the huge mistake listening to one or two employees has caused. Wake up Jake! Wake up Sallys! We needed a strong leader and you just took her away. Sallys, why don't you look into Jake if you want to find someone you can never get ahold of and is unapprochable. Call the entire district. You will get the facts on our DM instead of juicy rumors. I'm currently looking for another job because if this is the type of company that just fires people for doing their job then, I'm going to be out on the street soon. So sad and disappointed.

Sally Beauty Supply brentwood towne square 15227

I was in the Brentwood Towne Square Sally Beauty location yesterday 10/2/2018 at approximately 5:30pm. I was the only customer in the store and waited in line for approximately 10 minutes. A sales associate watched me waiting, and proceeded to help another customer instead of me. Once the other customer was ready to check out she completely ignored me and let him cut in front of me and didn't even acknowledge that I was there. I put my stuff back and left because I was so enraged and offended. I think I deserve an apology and the staff member should be written up and I deserve at least a gift card to be compensated. The employee looked to be in her mid 30's with dark hair in a pony tail, fake lashes, and bad sun damage. I have been a long time customer but no more! Absolutely ridiculous and outrageous how awful their customer service is and how I was completely disrespected!

Sally Beauty Supply customer service

I have received such awful customer service at the Victoria, Tx store. The one in particular I'm speaking of is Catarina Rene Rodriguez. She is very VERY unprofessional. Very rude to customers, cussing in front of customers, bullying other co workers in front of customers, cussing out coworkers, no HELLO, CAN I HELP YOU, THANK YOU nothing. I love Sally Stores, but will not be returning because of this particular employee. Theres 2 other girls that are really nice and helpful, a Daquirius (i think) and a new girl. But I can't know when they are working so I just won't be back until this Catarina person is no longer employed there. She is an AWFUL representative of your company.

Sally Beauty Supply management

Ive come into the store a few times in the last week or so, theyve got a new hire who is doing everything she can, and this last visit may be my last. Usually the new girl is always willing to help me and does the best she can, and yesterday [protected] will likely be my last day returning as when i walked in the new hire was alone and was being screamed at by her manager on the phone (loud enough to where we could hear it from standing a few feet away) because the girl made a report to (I'm assuming) corporate about an issue with her register. Her mamager left her standing behind the counter in tears explaining she had only done as she was asked to do upon hire. I have had issues with attitude from the manager in the past as well, along with noticing her staying shut in the back room and refusing the help employees who need assistance. Higher management needs to farther evaluate their current store manager.

Employee's have no idea what they are doing. They do not know anything about the products or how to correctly use it. Hilo is a small town and I have heard from many people about the employees who have no knowledge. The boss is very rude. She is mean and does not know how to run a store. I feel bad for the other employees because they seem so nice while this boss is such a bully. First of all, she talks on the phone while at work. She talks on the phone and talks about how the gay people need to stick together but there she is not being any help to me as I am a gay person myself. Such a hypocrite if I must say so myself. The way that she acts shows discrimination again other people who are straight. She is the reason why gay people have such a bad image. She should be fired because she is not a leader nor does she know how to help people. We are in Hawaii so she should learn what aloha is and how to use it!

This is for the store in Austin Texas on Anderson Lane. Actually all your Austin stores. My family and I have never had a good experience in any of your store. Always unprofessional staff, unwilling to help, attitude, very stuck up and rude. If y'all want to keep customers I suggest y'all do a sweep of all your stores and weed out the bad apples. People are spending money in your stores and they're getting treated like trash. I will definitely not refer anyone to Sallys Beauty anymore. Your employees are giving Sallys Beauty a bad name. If you do nothing to change it, then that's on management.

Sally Beauty Supply manager of live oak fl store

To whom it may concern, my name is shantia evans, im a licensed cosmetologist that shops regularly at your store. I normally have a pleasant time shopping there at the store in live oak, but today made me question if I want to spend anymore of my money there or not. My visit today at store 2502 was a surprisingly unpleasant. Witnessed the manager heather speaking unprofessionally, disrespectful and down right unacceptable to an employee in the backroom. The door was closed and the level of her voice was so loud I could hear clearly the words she was saying to her, she was scolding her. As a manager she should never talk in such a manner to her employees. Im sure the employee felt degraded. Having held a managers position, I well know how a corrective action should be held and that one was ultimately improper! Also very upsetting to hear. She will not only run her customers away but also her employees. Maybe she needs more training. Something should be done because she starting to affect business. Self control is something she needs to work on especially being a manager. If she would do her employees that way she could very well treat a customer the same. Golden rule should be displayed in all circumstances, today she didnt display that. Very disappointed in her actions.
