I am a small business owner in Yuba City, CA. Like many other business owners, I fully realize that integrity and honesty with the public is crucial to business. I find it highly irritating when a large chain store does not keep fair business practices and standards.

My family and I wanted to take a break and go to a drive thru to get a quick meal, we decided on Taco Bell. After we ordered at the speaker we drove up to the pay window, we were shortchanged $5.00.

I handed them a fifty and got back $29.38. I noticed that the change did not look right, but my wife had already moved to the next (pick-up) window. I pointed out the shortchange problem to the person at the window. I showed him the receipt, and all was verified. However, we failed to also check the bag to make sure that everything was in there. We were glad that we did not get short-changed. Upon our arrival at home, my wife started to pass out the contents of the bag and noticed that her order of pintos & cheese were missing, we were charged for them but they failed to give them to us. This is not the first time there has been trouble with this company and the public. Several of their shops had to be closed down because of health hazards! Employees defacting in the food, etc... This was several years ago. I thought the company had gotten past this. Apparently not, now they have become shortchange artists and thieves.

TACO BELL should be BOYCOTTED or permanently shut down!

My daughter worked at the tacobell in tacoma washington and she got treated like dirt there..my daughter was more mature then the manager..she told me that they do drugs and i know its true because she called me on her break and i heard the manager say'''i thought you were in your car and my daughter said no i been here and the manager said oh girl im high''also the customers told my daughter almost every day that she was nice they wanted her to take there order..the other employees were jealous of her and started talking about her and making it miserable to work there she would come home crying..then when she went to work the next day the manager said you have only one day of work this week for 2 hours..what is that going to pay she has bills to pay''she looked at the schedule and saw that the manager gave herself 50 hours and was never there to work it ..when she did come in she stayed about a hour then left..

when she tried to talk to the manager about her hours she got mad and told her that theres nothing i can do go do your job just rude about it so i told my daughter to transfer because she would be in tears...so she did transfer and at first the manager there was nice but when the customers liked my daughter again other then the other workers they started being mean to her..one of the guys that worked there told my daughter well the manager dont like you she told everyone that she cant stand you .you act like your all that''''here we go again! she gave her one day only 2 hours and she gave some of the other workers a couple of hours one day of the week and they were mad because they have worked there one girl told my daughter she is going to get evicted because she cant work'''but if they were labor low then why did she hire alot of new people and gave them more then 30 hours a week...they were mad i told my daughter put your 2 weeks in because it takes more gas then the check from there...

i tried to contact the boss lisa but they wouldnt give me the number i called both taco bells and it just so happens both managers are friends and they new i wanted to complain so when i asked her for it she hung up on me...

wouldnt ever have my daughter work there again

I worked for Taco Bell for 5 years on and off during school. You are a ### if you think that someone blatantly stole money from you, and forgot to give you one item of your order. Although you probably are a self-centered idiot, your food is not the only food the employees have to make. Heaven forbid they forget one item out of one order, when there's possibly more than 20 orders on the screen. Think about other possibilities before you whine and ### about a forgotten .99 cent item, you tool.

Also, to the person who got their three cents 'stolen', you are a [censored]. Give me your address and I will also mail you three cents. Hell, I might even feel nice and give you six. :)

Bingo, Taco Bell Employee! The customer is NOT always right and whomever coined that phrase should be knocked out!

As a Taco Bell employee, I must say that you customers can be SO annoying. I mean the employee you are talking about forgot to give you .03 freakin cents and you are upset about it? Hell, I will personally mail you the 3 cents and I don't even know you. You customers think you can get away with complaining about ANYTHING, just ot get someone in trouble. Stop and think! That employee might have 3 kids and be a single parent, maybe they just had a bad night and forgot the nachos, 3 cents, ect. As long as they make up for it (give you the missing item/refund/ect), get over it!

I work in fastfood as well. Accidents happen, I really doubt tacobell has it out for you. idiot.

Taco Bell in Eden, NC has a dishonest person working your drive thru window on the weekends. The store manager ask me to give her district manager a chance to call but she hasn't. (Five days later) I will tell everyone I know that I hope the Taco Bell employee who blatantly stole .03 cents from me that night and has previously has over charged more on other trips costs Taco Bell many many customers. I have told everyone I have talked to since that Friday and that the store manager new there was a problem (she even said there has been a missing money problem) and ask me not to call the 800 number but to give her district manager a chance to call and talk to me. At this point no one at TACO BELL appears to care that they have a thief working for them. I haven't been back since and have stopped going to the one in Greensboro, NC twice a week for lunch now as a result. I also intend to post this to every complaint board I can find.
