Tim Hortons quick pay card

Order a set of NHL teams quickpay card from head office in Oakville in 2013. Each card had a balance of $15. No expiration date & no dormancy fee was stated on the back. Now wanted to give the cards to my son to use. Check the balance...$0. Called head office & was told if any inactivity on the card for 2 yrs or more, card will be de-activated & all balance forfeited! That was not what is said on the back of each cards! Any help to fight Tim Hortons on this would be appreciated.
32 cards X $15 = $480. I call this THEFT!

Tim Hortons chicken strips

I was anxious to try your recently advertised chicken strips. The Ad shows 3 large pieces of unaltered white chicken meat. Boy was I disappointed! I was charged $5.79 for 3 small pieces of chicken that did not even cover the bottom of the box! And, the meat was nothing more than a pressed piece of breaded mush.
I showed other clients at the Tim Hortons location and they were disgusted with what they saw!
I can't believe that you expect to have return business when stuff like that is served to consumers.

Regarding the commercial for the new Chicken Strips, suggesting to eat and enjoy the chicken strips at the office, at home and even on the way home.

Big NO NO- it appears that Tim Horton's has no regard for distracted driving as the container of chickens strips appears to be sitting between the front seats of a car.

Tim Hortons single-use plastic

Daniel Schwartz, I am writing a complaint about all Tim Horton restaurants' use of plastic lids, plastic straws, cutlery, and other single-use plastics. Only a small fraction of plastic is ever recycled. Meaning that much of it is thrown in the trash, which is the case at most of your restaurants. I would like to inform you that these single-use plastics that are used in your restaurants are being thrown away, and eventually end up in our oceans and water ways. This is causing the death of millions of land and ocean animals. While it is nice to see that some of the plastic used in your restaurants is recyclable, it is important to note that plastic cannot be recycled infinite times, and it loses its quality. This means that some of those recycled plastics will also be thrown away, as they can't be recycled again. Daniel Schwartz, I urge you to consider using alternatives to single-use plastic. For example; paper cups, paper straws, bamboo cutlery, and biodegradable "plastic" made of 100% potato starch.

Tim Hortons manager

This happened on the 9th of January 2019. I love Tim Hortons sooo muchhh so when this happened I was very mad. I was called for an interview the day before because I applied to work there. I got there on time and I asked to see the manager who called me. They said she was "busy". So I waited for almost 45 minutes to see this busy manager. I got frustrated because I had to leave school for this interview. I asked to see her again but no one wanted to call her. I requested to see her again to reschedule at least. Then She (the manager) storms out from her office and approaches me. She rudely told me and I quote, "I'm busy. Sooo... I'll call you". then she walks out. My question is, If I were a customer, would she treat me the same way? That is the rudest encounter I've ever had in my life. She was so rude that I had to start contemplating if I really want to work or have Tim hortons again. The manager's name is Andrea and the tim hortons location it happened at is 1176 st clair ave w

Tim Hortons food not delivered

Good morning, I have ordered through skip dishes from Tim Hortons, location is 11084, 51st, average, new, Edmonton. On 9 January at 9.00am. My order had 2 poppy lemon loaf, two hashbrowns and 6pcs donuts.
In order there was 6pcs donut missing. I called in the restaurant and the manager told me, that they forgot it. She told me that she will get it delivered. I was okay with that. But after waiting for 3 hours, still my order was not delivered at all. It spoiled my 3yr old birthday. I hope something can be done about it.

I have visited the store location on South Hamilton Road, Columbus, OH near Eastland Mall. i always order food (different items) and always a large iced coffee with 2 creams and 2 sweet n lows. On each of several visits (no less than 6) between December 26, 2018 and January 8, 2019 they have been out of sweet n low. If you are in the coffee business, it seems to me that you should carry the additives that your customers requite for their coffee, It's unacceptable to be out of something so common for 2 weeks. And Sweet n Low and Splenda are not the same thing. That's just poor quality control. You are welcome to contact me about this.

My son was not feeling well and ask for timinis chicken stripe and wedges. I went at around 0900pm getting him what could actually been his diner. Drove to my closest Tim Hortons there were no more stripes so I decided to go further so that my son can eat something as he didn't eat his diner yet. So I got the package and payed 6.55$ then drove back home. when I open the box I was so upset the wedges was so dry and hard and chicken stripes even harder. I was so upset as I couldn't drive anymore as its was late already and writing a complaints seems the right thing I could do.

Tim Hortons worker

Hi There! I visited your location at Jane & Teston, Maple, Ontario in the Esso Gas station this evening to order a coffee and a gentlemen who usually serves me was there by the name Anthony. He is sweet and always helpful and nice from the minute he takes my order until he delivers the goods in my hand. Just as he finished with my order and walked towards the back of the store, his co-worker yelled out to him in a loud and abrupt tone "now go finish what you were doing" She was beyond rude & loud towards him and so humiliating that it just broke my heart. I didn't manage to get her name but she is described as a short, slim Indian lady. This happened around 6:50 pm this evening, Sunday. January 6th. I really felt bad for Anthony and I truly wanted to turn around and ask for a manager to address her inappropriate behavior but I thought I better leave a complaint instead. I've been a customer at your location for a number of years and truly Anthony is an asset to Tim Hortons and deserves better treatment from his co-workers not to be abused or humiliated in front of customers or loud enough for customers to hear. I hope I don't encounter this type of nonsense again bc it wasn't necessary and I hope this lady is reprimanded for her inappropriate behavior.

Tim Hortons cinnamon delight

Hello, just to say that you should add a pinch of cinnamon sugar (dust-like) on your cinnamon delight. To be more precise, the same coating as on the cereals "cinnamon crunch".
Also, add more of the flavoured part (the brownish one) and less of the non-flavoured part (whity-white one). We all have than inner basic white girl that screams for that burst of cinnamon holiday-like flavour. Please make it happen tim I have faith in you. The cinnamon sugar dust will add a nice sutle bit of texture to the moistiness of this cake.

That way, it would be fan-f*ing-tastic 😍😍

Tim Hortons previous employee

I've worked with Tim Horton's for at least 5 years all together. I've seen the store I worked at a couple months ago turn downhill. I was forced out of my position, along with others. There was sexual harassment going on as well. I reported it to the assistant, concerning myself and a minor at the time. Nothing was done. The store I worked at is absolutely disgusting and detail cleaning wasn't done like it was supposed to be done. I've been called on shift when it was my day off. The district manager that was there and another employee were sending private pictures to each other in the bathroom, on shift. There has been at least 2 cases of sexual harassment that was brought up to management and they had fired me for the last case. My last night, a employee that sexually harassed me had called my district manager and said he feared for his life and left me to close the store by myself. Which, I know is illegal. I go through and get my coffee every once in awhile and they mess up my order, intentionally. I get the rudest service, and nothing has been done about it. The franchise I worked for was absolutely horrible and wasn't fair to their employees. The supervisor that was in the same position as myself, was sending naked pictures to get raises and slept with the management to get her raises as well. I had also caught employees doing drugs in the parking lot and nothing being done about that either. Every Tim's I go to, it's a disaster. They mess up my order and it's been multiple occasions. They discriminate as well, I talk to previous customers that I used to take care of when I worked there and they keep telling me they won't go back because of the attitude of the employer and employees. They had even called an employee retarded. Something needs to be done, because they're losing a reputation and customers. I have never been so disrespected in my work life by such disgraceful people.

Tim Hortons poor customer service

I went there for breakfast today and I was very disappointed and shocked but the way I was treated by one of the staff! I ordered something and waited for my order. The lady that I don't recal the name announced my order with a very thick Indian accent. I heard it wrong and went to grab it. As soon as I took it I noticed it wasn't my order so I put it back and said this is not mine. She told me I SAID THIS NOT THAT . With a very bad attitude. I said I heard that I'm sorry and put it back. When she brought my actual order she dropped it on the counter and told me listen to your order! SERIOUSLY? IV never been treated like this as a customer anywhere else! I think you should really reconsider your hiring process as your staff don't know the basics of customer service! She gave me attitude even though I apologized for hearing my order wrong! I would really like for whoever that is in charge to talk to the staff and teach them how to treat a customer .
My phone number is [protected] in case you wanted to contact me. My name is Yalda

Tim Hortons gift card and poor service

Joseph garland

16:50 (6 minutes ago)

To guestrealtions

On dec 23/2018 I purchased 3 10.00 gift cards from store number #289 order number 117069, these gift cards were for 3 different people. My daughter received one of the cards she went to one of your stores and they said the card was not active so I had placed a call to the store where I bought them I have my recipt and I told the supervisor on the phone what happened, the top of the recipt said I have purchased 3 10.00 activations but on the bottom it says that they did 1cards with 10.00 and another with 10.00 but then they added the third activation on the second card when I explained this to the supervisor she told me that she did not have time and I will have to wait for the manager to come into the store tomorow, to me this is not good customer service I spend alot of money at tims and I felt that it should be handled today she told me to call the number on the back of the card and they will deal with it, so I called 1866timcard when I explained to them what happened they told me to call the store I then told the agent that they told me that the store supervisor did not have the time to deal with and the agent told me that it should be the store calling and not me, while I was talking to the agent he was talking to someone beside him about the situation and the two agents where laughing saying theres nothing they can do, tome this is really really bad custoumer service all I was trying to do was fix what they had screwed up in the first place and to get laughed at that is a slap in the face, I then said something to the agent and told him he was not acting very profesional and asked for his name and id number he told me his name was jeff and he did not have to give his id number so I asked to speak with his supervisor and I wated about 2 min then he came back on the phone and said he was allowed to give the id number now it is1118001 and I asked for his name and he now said josh so the first name I got was a fake so he would not get in trouble this is the worst experience I have ever recieved from tim hortons first from the store and second from the call center, I will never go to any of your stores again my daughter was also imbarresed at the store where she was trying to use the card and I am embarresed because she got a blanke present the other 2 cards I have donated to 2 homeless people so it is not like I can find them and say hay tim hortons screwed up and put to much money on a card, so I would like to know how this is going to get fixed... Tim Hortons homeless shelter?

There is a Tin Horton's located on 105 st and Whyte ave in Edmonton Alberta that has recently and unwillingly become a shelter for homeless street people in the area. I frequent this location several times a week as do others from the area and in conversation with others we have noticed this problem getting out of control, particularly in the evening. At first, there were a few isolated incidents of people sleeping in chairs, sometimes on the floor. The staff have tried to remove them with as little conflict as possible and on occasion had to summon police. The problem has now escalated to the point that today, during the afternoon, there were three individuals sleeping in the restaurant. While waiting to place my order this afternoon I noted other customers who came in, took one look, and left without ordering. Having witnessed this I can only conclude that the profitability of this location is being affected.

I have spoken to the staff about this a few times and they are at their wits end to find a solution. There have been times the indigent won't leave and the staff cannot rely on the police to be on hand. Although they have not voiced it, I also believe some are also intimidated by the offenders and fear for the safety of the customers, their own personal safety, and the possibility of reprisals when coming to or going from work not to mention the possible vandalism to their parked vehicles while they work their shift.

Now I realize that the Tim Horton's chain has a reputation for being charitable and believe that it is good public relations. However, in this case, it is no longer a case of being charitable to others less fortunate. When it come to these individuals, it is now abuse. They are in fact a blight. During the warmer months they would seldom try this type of thing as there are more than a few daily customers, primarily motorcyclists, who would gladly assist the staff to remove them should they become aggressive or violent. With the winter months however, these customers are absent for the most part.

Although it is unfortunate and costly, I believe, as others do, it would behoove the owner to retain the services of a security contractor to correct the situation before it gets any further out of hand. In my opinion, to leave it to continue on will only create even further problems and drive off more clientele.

Tim Hortons customer service is non existent

I just wanted to share a recent experience I had at the Guildford Mall Tim Hortons. Obviously being Christmas and in a mall, the line up was very long. I probably waited in line for more than 10 minutes (no problem, they were moving as quick as possible). I got up the the till and took 2 gift cards from the rack and handed them to the cashier. I stated I wanted 2 $25 gift cards and would be paying separate transactions. I had $25 cash and $25 for debit. The cashier was extremely difficult to understand, but I was patient with what. He did the first transaction and swiped the gift card, and then came the debit transaction and swiped a separate gift card. After this was complete, he took away one of the gift cards and said "here is a $50 gift card". I told him that's not what I asked for, I need 2 cards. The cashier then told me there was nothing further he could do for me. He never apologized, he never offered to fix it and he didn't bother to ask for help. I then asked for a supervisor to help him. The supervisor made it seem like it was my fault this happened, and didn't want to help at first. I then asked for a refund and said I would go elsewhere. She didn't want to do this either. After asking multiple times the supervisor finally said she would try and fix it and kept trying to refund my card but it would only say "declines". She wanted me to repurchase on my debit card but I have already paid for it. After being st the till for over 15 minutes at this point she finally tried a different till and issued me 2 $25 gift cards. Never once did I get an apology for what happened and the customer service was absolutely non existent. Both employees were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I feel like I have had nothing but bad experiences at Tim Horton's over the last year, and the customer service everywhere is awful. I'll be giving these gift cards as gifts, however I think this will be my last purchase at Tim Hortons. I am not one to complain in most cases but feel this needs to be known, as I was so disappointed with the service and the absolutely disregard for trying to fix a mistake that the employees made in the first place.

Tim Hortons service

So I'm finally ready to complain about a place I frequent on a daily basis. So NO Tim Hortons. No I won't be rushed through the drive through because you have a quota to meet. No I won't let your young and inexperienced drive through cashier give me her attitude because she doesn't want to actually be there and present during the holidays. No I won't give you my hard earned money and watch her grimace while cashing me out. No I won't then receive THE WRONG ORDER and be silent. Oh! And I also won't call your location to speak to a manager only to have yet another employee tell me they are "kinda busy" and attempt to keep me from relaying my poor experience! No no. Not a dime more! Stop hiring adolescents. I refrained from letting her have it today but if your staff can't learn to leave their issues at home then neither will I. Thanks.
