Think twice about ordering parts from these scammers. They have nothing in stock. They advertise sales and special prices on nonexistent parts. When you place an order they "source" the parts. They will scramble for 1-2 weeks until they locate it at some legitimate business. They are extremely slow and unprofessional. They will mix up parts and orders. Do not get taken by their "Guarantee" "Fast shipping" or "100% satisfaction Guarantee" posted on their website. These people are B.S. So is their business. Scam.

DON'T USE WunderCarParts! Or you'll be "WUNDERING" why you wasted your money! They sell inferior parts that don't fit the cars they're described to fit. And when called upon their mistake, they blame Amazon. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I used Amazon's "Garage" system, which matches your car's profile with compatible parts, for a 2001 Toyota Avalon Exhaust System and everything was a match. I got the 'Green Check' that what WunderCarParts had "fit my car." I even cross referenced WundeCarParts part numbers with what other providers had and it matched. I received the parts and spent a whole day trying to make them fit. Only to give up and have my car towed to my mechanic. My mechanic looked over my work and explained that the parts WundeCarParts sold me were NOT compatible with my car and illustrated this with a repair guide book.

I emailed and called WunderCarParts and explained what happened and they blamed Amazon. After playing hard-ball they admitted their error and said the best they could do was refund my money.

AVOID WunderCarParts at all cost. Don't be lured in by their Low prices. You'll regret it. I'm still WONDERING how they stay in business.

I cannot agree with the OP, I have ordered several items, the last being over $800 and have so far received all of them on time and without any issue what so ever. All company's make mistakes, just as all people make mistakes, even the OP. It is how the company responds to those mistakes that reflect on that company's ethics and customer service. From my own experience, as well as from reading all of the positive comments I think WunderCarParts does a better than average job of meeting their customers needs. Try dealing with the cable company!

I just ordered a new Stage 2 clutch for my Subaru Legacy GT Spec B... Bought it on the 29th of February. Had it in hand today March 3rd... Great customer service and even had a few laughs on the phone with the new girl (who sounds pretty hot) I only have one thing to complain about... YOU GUYS NEED STICKERS... Guys like me enjoy advertising where we got our parts from, I attend and show my car at 100+ shows a year. and always get asked about "where did you get this or that" And having a vinyl sticker to show them your logo makes a world of difference. SO GET STICKERS... I spent 700 bucks and cant even get a sticker. Make it happen guys :)

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
They violate manufacturer's pricing policies and then if you need any sort of warranty claim it is VOIDED because they are not authorized if they violate policies. I got taken for an expensive fuel pump that is supposed to have a lifetime warranty but these guys are even on the manufacturer's "Do Not Sell" list. Apparently they are buying the products gray market through some sort of shell company to keep the supply coming. Full blown scammers. Buyer beware.

Please review the image attached of the listing on Amazon that this customer purchased. We also sent him an email shortly after placing an order to verify fitment or anything else about the listing. We also granted the return which was returned well over 60 days and in horrible condition.

U know what, I was intrigued to buy some after mart off road parts for my 10 silverado. I felt Wunder stood out. I looked them up, n top on page, theirs a site saying how "WUnder is a scam, At first I said f@#k n kept looking around. After 30 min I realized f@#k I'm just check out this site that's was bad mouthing WUnder. I'm glad I did. I read ALL the comments, n realized this all started cuz of Steven bad experience. Sorry for that, but Steven would be so kind, n get over ur experience n erase ur review. Only, cuz of us new guys looking for a few after market parts for n accessories for low price some of us can afford. My post is the 20 review it looks like, n to be honest. I only seen 2 negative responses. I look to spend $3, 000 in next couple weeks with WUnder on after market parts. I was so tempted to go elsewhere, but I realized, cant judge a couple bad incidents. I heard the word "scam" . I think a couple have a bad misinception on what scam really is. Scam is someone or something trying to imply fraud. If this was the case, I don't see anyone offering to repay all funds. Just cuz the special part wasn't in stock, delay in order, or no longer carry it in a certain model or size. We r only human, n if there is some kind of mishap, my personal experience is if u can talk with the vendor u have a 95% chance of working something out.I will be g tomorrow morning to place my order calling. Glad I looked into this review n that didn't let a couple cry baby's change my thought of doing bizz with Wunder Auto Parts. Look forward to giving u guys a call

I just purchased a powerstop brake system from them and am completely satisfied. They sent me a courtesy email before shipping to make sure they would fit my vehicle. Called the customer service line and spoke to a human, an actual employee, who spoke English. How refreshing that is in this day of poor customer service! He confirmed my parts and shipped them. I received them, free delivery, in a matter of days. And a full brake set (rotors/pads, front/rear) was over $100 less than anyone else, anywhere, even with their coupon codes. Will definitely be buying from them again. No complaints.

I was totally satisfied when I bought my Flowmaster cat back system from them. I saved tons of cash and got free shipping. I will be buying from them again.
As for not having anything in stock, it's called drop shipping. No gigantic warehouse full of inventory costing them money, so what. I place an order from them, they order it from the manufacturer and have it shipped directly to me, cutting out the middle step. Wundercarparts makes some cash and as long as I get a great deal from them, I'm a happy gearhead.

Wunder is amazing! I saved well over 500 on my exhaust system in 2010. I received my part days earlier than expected. I am getting ready to order a cold air intake from them now!

I agree with OP, I ordered a part from them, got a call a few days later (not right away) saying they don't have that part and they don’t know when they will get it (so why is it on their site?) I mentioned that it was an inconvenience and would delay my project and he said "well it is what it is" I was like really? then I mentioned I thought twice about ordering from them due to this review and he told me they only stock exhaust parts not the other stuff... so again, why is the other stuff on their site?

I just received my first order from wundercarparts. The order was placed online at about 1:30AM on March 24. All that I ordered was received at about 6 PM March 27 with FREE ground shipment. I also saved 230 hard earned dollars on a complete exhaust system. I will without reservation buy here again.

I too have just had a bad experience with this company . I placed a order online received a conformation email and then three days later another email stating i need to get in touch with them because my credit card failed, not a problem -i gave them a wrong address . No big deal, got that straight and it went through. Then i received another conformation with a different price then the original online price . I called them up to see whats going on and Brad said he spoke with me previously and explained to me that they did not have that part anymore but they had a more expensive one, 107 dollars more. Well that conversation never happened . I dont like the fact that they were willing to change my order without my approval or that they advertise parts they dont sell . I canceled the order . All and all im not happy with the service i got or the fact that they tried to lie to me.

Thank you all that have responded to this complaint. It really does make me feel good that our customers, with no added benefit to themselves, have added their shopping experience with us. We try our best to make every transaction the best possible customer experience possible and unfortunately sometimes we fail at that. That's just being honest. In this particular case, Steven ordered some KYB shocks and a few other odds and ends right the same week as 4th of July. There was a delay on this KYB shocks but his other parts shipped within 24 hours of his purchase. We notified him of his delay and we were at the mercy of KYB and what they were advising us. Was this the best customer experience for Steve, probably not. We eventually accepted his parts back and gave him a full refund. He decided to take it a step further and start this post.

The point is that we are in business to keep customers happy and coming back. We currently have an eBay rating of 3960 with a 99.8% Positive Rating. It isnt a secret that we allocate our parts as the order comes in. In regards to our replacement parts, we have over 53 warehouses fully stocked with all of the parts listed on our website and if all of those wareshouses are out of stock, we have the manufacturers themselves for back up. It is very rare that an order doesn't ship within 24 hours of purchase except, of course on weekends or during holidays. In regards to performance auto parts we have well over 15 warehouses to allocate to as well as the manufacturers for backup. We have built this company and our relationships to offer the best prices we can and at the same time allow you to purchase everything you need from one company. I have been a stocking warehouse at one time and with that comes a lot of overhead and expense that drives the price of doing business extremely high. Ultimately, that results in higher prices. By stream lining our business, our goal is to offer low prices, affordable shipping, and great customer experience. Every day, I hear from customers about one of our competitors who has decided to move their customer service overseas. They tell me their experience is horrible because the reps tell them whatever they need to hear to get the sale. Resulting in the wrong parts being sold and the customer being burned. Our staff is knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. We are car people. We want your business and we want your loyality.

This complaint originally left a sour taste in my mouth but perhaps it can be a sounding board for our customers who feel that we have done a good job or recommend how we can do it better. I would say before you post here with negative comments, please contact me personally first. I can't control everything in a purchase through us that might go bad. However, I can make it right in the end.

Thank you for your positive comments, it is much appreciated!

Gee, Steve sounds pretty angry about wunder car parts... over what now? You had to wait for a part that got mixed up. Wow, ya that sucks, Steve, what an "exclusive" and "rare" event for the perfect world of car parts ordering. they must be con artists or worse, outsourcers. Oooooo. you caught em' Stevo!
First of all, sourcing parts is what every single last auto company does and must do. Not one car parts retailer, or auto maker for that matter, makes their own parts. It's not bad business, it's just business. If you go to Ford and buy an alternator or any part, they check stock, if they do not have it, they have it sent from an outlet or another dealership, and even still Ford may not have it at all unless it is a common part and/or from a recent model. They often order from the OEM (which is an outsource) who then orders it from the company that they sold the manufacturing rights to, when the model or car became less common. So, Steve, Ford cannot even keep stock for all their own brand car's parts, all makes and models. There OEM suppliers cannot even keep a stock of all the parts that they once manufactured.
You expect a company who sells parts for all brands, all makes, and all models to stock all these parts, oem replacement and performance replacement and keep them warehoused within 2 day shipping everywhere? ... and then post slanderous "BS" about them for shopping the price around, when you were shopping for the lowest price yourself, which lead you to them in the first place? If you buy from retailers who keep huge stock, like you are pointing out, the prices are higher, reflecting the price of the real estate that is housing that stock, and the minimum wage employees who help you find the "right" parts(50/50 chance it's right). Companies like wunder, order directly from the manufacturers to save you that added cost, and offer a huge selection.
Most manufacturers are based in other countries and most likely they are the ones who confused you're parts order, or shipping dates... But, Let's say it was wunder's fault, that your single order got mixed up. how much money did you save from buying from them? was it worth the trouble? fine, go pay more next time, bet you my left lug nut there's not one company out there that has a perfect record.
Was this the 1st time you bought a car part, Steve? sorry. My guess this wasn't your 1st unreasonable complaint. I have been buying auto parts for 20 years and getting mismatched parts is just part of the life of a backyard mechanic. It's not an exact science, that's for sure. So settle down and realize that we need companies like this to keep the big dog's prices in check.
Don't hate the players, Steve, hate the game, if you need to hate. Buy a new car every 4 years or suck it up... and avoid cheapshot gut punches to helpful companies like this.
Chubby D gives Wundercarparts 2 thumbs up.
hope no one let's uneducated consumer watchdogs like Steve sway any decisions away from Wunder Car Parts. they are fine, reliable, cheap, and resourceful

Man. I'm sorry you had a bad expereince with these guys. I am somewhat surprised too. I have ordered well over 20K in parts from wUnderCarParts in the past 6 months. My experience would have me recommend this company to anyone needing quick and inexpensive performance parts and OEM stuff too. The only time there was a lag was when ordering over the Christmas holiday we waited a few extra days for parts to be shipped. I guess that was to be expected though. The staff at their company made sure to follow up with me daily nonetheless and keep me in the loop. Hopefully your next buying experience with wUnderCarParts is as good as mine have been.

Russell.

I too disagree with you Steve. I have placed many orders and "scammers" is the last word I would use to describe their customer service, pricing and fast shipping. They know what they are talking about and have helped me find several hard to find parts.

This is about the tenth time that I have bought something from these guys. This last time I even used thier suggested mechanic to do the install. I got my car back, from the owner, with all the work done, and my car washed. There was even a parts mix up, but it was my fault. They took the part back and got me the right parts at no extra charge. I don't know how you could call it a Scam. They had the best pricing and had great service. Maybe you just caught them on a bad day. FYI, if you only worked with people that stocked every part, you would be paying a premium. It is all about the deals they get from the OEMs, and there ability to ship quickly and know the products. You clearly had a bad experience, but that has never been my experience. Frankly, these are the first guys I have come accross that are cost effective and know what they are talking about.

I completely disagree with your comment Steven. I have dealt with wUnderCarParts.com on several occasions and have found nothing but great experiences. I have ordered from them on 3 separate occasions and they have delivered on all of their "guarantees" each and every time. I think you may be upset at an isolated situation, which happens with any business you deal with. It is unfair for you to make a comment about the store. Your comment may be warranted based on the experience, but wUnderCarParts.com follows through on their promises. To anyone considering purchasing from wUnderCarParts.com, please don't let one person's single experience on what was probably a very unpopular and hard-to-find part, deter you from getting the parts you want. I mean, come on! You really can't beat their prices and fast shipping.
