Groupon.com Mixed Experiences with Relaxology, LLC on Groupon

As a frequent user of Groupon, I've had mixed experiences with Relaxology, LLC. While some customers have enjoyed rejuvenating experiences like foot detox sessions and relaxing massages, others have faced challenges. Issues such as difficulty in booking appointments, unsatisfactory services like superficial massages, and lackluster customer support have been reported. It's essential to carefully review the terms and conditions before purchasing deals from Relaxology, LLC on Groupon to ensure a positive experience.

Have always had great service.
Always been able to contact Groupon via phone, email or via their online chat site.
Always been pleased by the way they have dealt with my enquiries to do with late deliveries or Defective items. Trust them to deal with any items I buy through their site as I know if I have a problem... It will be dealt with quickly and professional. Would recommend them to everyone.

Groupon.com Gia is Hypnosis

I just returned from a session with Gia at I am Hypnosis. The session was wonderful. Gia is friendly, helpful, and very easy to talk with. Using a soothing voice, and very supportive, loving suggestions and visualization, she helped me address the issue about which I'd emailed her. It is clear from her welcoming demeanor and professionalism that Gia is interested in, and capable of providing a deeply relaxed state while offering useful suggestions. BRAVO and thanks!

Groupon.com Having withdrawals!

I am devastated! Shopped with ideel/ideel since 2012. My family even knew that gift time to buy me an ideel gift certificate. Nothing bad to say about Groupon, it's a groupon not ideeli. Even my UPS man has asked me what happened. I shop the site daily and loved the Sunday Night Steals. Where will I shop now? Yes Hautelook is ok but as far as they go, just go to Nordstrom. I feel like I will be left behind with fashion as opposed to trending. I'm just sick about it.

Groupon.com You can find almost ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!

Love this company and their deals. Even if for some reason you don't use them before they expire, you can still get at least what you paid for it! I've found so many new wonderful placed simply because of Groupon, and now I'm a repeat customer. On the one unusual occasion that I did have a problem, I called customer service and they made it right within MINUTES. Groupon.com So far so good

I have only bought products off Groupon because friends have warned me that the entertainment or food Groupons can often be scams or just don't work. Everything I have bought (a dog seat cover, a number sign for our home, wine, air filters) has been up to par. I am careful and read it carefully. I did cancel an order and in fact returned something with absolutely no problem at all. I have read the bad reviews but myself personally have never had these problems. I have gotten some great deals and been pleased thus far. Customer service has always been kind to me just through EM's. I have been happy with Groupon.

Groupon.com LOVED IT!

I read peoples reviews nd i must say i was scared to purchase an item from this please cause the comments were so bad. But after recieving my items, i was very pleased with the results. Great quality for the price i paid, imean i normally buy my stuff from from big companys like Debenhams or house of fraser or Victorias secrets nd pay a fortune nd most of them aren't even as good quality material as the things i paid for on ivrose. Girls... try not to listen to all the bad comments nd just try it out for yourself. You wont be disappointed. Trust me. Some people are just haters. Yes i wasted longer than expected but it was well worth the wait. First item came very quick. Second took abit longer but i was told it was being shipped from another country. Worth it trust me.

Groupon.com Keep Credit Card OFF your account!

Big surprise to me, I found out I bought a duct cleaning service. Groupon or someone
Groupon allowed charged $40.00 to my card for a duct cleaning used it at their house (probably not, probably just scammed the money) while I wasn't even home that weekend. When I wrote to Groupon they blew me off even though it hadn't even been month and even though it was total fraud! They said I didn't respond in a timely manner. What's funny in my email I told them I wasn't home that day, and when I went back in to check on the redemption they had changed the date of the redemption. They are very dishonest. Mine was $40.00 but I wonder how many they have done that to. It could be very lucrative for them to do that to a lot of people and not have to pay anyone. I am going to file with the BBB and probably notify the Secretary of State or whoever I can. Please take your credit card off of your account and just put it in momentarily. Or better yet, don't buy anything from these people. Thank you for reading.

Groupon.com Groupon deactivated account without notice, took hundreds from

Groupon deactivated my account without notice with hundreds of dollars of active Groupon and Groupon bucks. I've been receiving emails that there is no account associated with my email; I thought the error was on my side, now months later I am just f

There is no way to reach them except for chat and emails which is slow, cumbersome and ineffective. I've been promised hat a manager will follow-up multiple times, only to get no correspondence.

Support asks impractical questions such as last purchase and amount--all information within their portal that they closed all of access to. Support claims the deactivation was due to fraud, but if that is a legitimate basis why not notify the consumer for their protection, or return the money they received/took from my account transactions/purchases if they feel they were fraudulently placed?

I have had Groupon for years and they made the arbitrary decision irresponsibility to close my account. Thus is theft, and taking great advantage of unknowing customers. This is poor service, seemingly a deliberate act of dedperatio by a declining comoany. and a Deceptive practice. Groupon needs to be investigated to uncover the scope of this and to see who authorized this practice. A class action suit may slso be warranted to compensate victims.

I still am yet to receive communication, resolution, or compensation for my lost funds and Groupons.

Groupon.com Groupon Review: Terrible Customer Service, No Refunds, and Lost Money on Activities

Hey, just wanted to share my experience with Groupon. Let me tell you, it was not a good one. I booked a bunch of activities for my trip to Vegas, including a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, VooDoo Zip line Package, HighRoller Ferris Wheel tickets, Package for 2 at the Stratosphere Tower, and 2-Two day passes for the LasVegas Monorail for transportation during our stay. All in all, I spent $887.98.

Unfortunately, our initial flight was delayed 1 hour 20 minutes causing us to miss our connecting flight. The only available alternative flight was from Chicago to Vegas at 5pm on 11/13. Meaning we would not arrive in Vegas until late Tuesday evening/Early Wed morning. We chose not to be stranded in Chicago overnight and most of Tuesday. We called Orbitz customer service that night. Immediate response, AND FULL refund of flight/hotel/shark aquarium tickets!

But when it came to Groupon, we had ZERO luck. We tried to contact them via phone (no answer), email (they block incoming emails), live chat (no resolve), and Facebook messenger (more resolve). We were given ONE activity trade in with value of $39.00. Upon opening THAT email, we were given 24 hours to trade in amount (a timer was visible on Groupon) If full trade-in is not utilized, its lost. We additionally contacted Mustang Helicoptor tours, to maybe even get a partial refund (as we now know Groupon ROBS businesses of revenue for services) they referred us to Viator, who is the parent company. Viator will happily return the portion of money they received, IF groupon contacts them on ourbehalf, validating we have voided our voucher. No response of course from Groupon on that matter.

It's really frustrating because we had ZERO intentions of NOT going on our trip, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to change our plans. And Groupon was absolutely no help. I understand that Groupon offers good deals, but when things go wrong, their customer service is non-existent. It's not worth the risk. Save your hard earned money and book directly with the companies providing the services. Don't use Groupon. Spread the word and let's make sure no one else has to go through what we did.

Groupon.com Groupon's Security Breach and Terrible Customer Service: A Warning to Others

So, I had a bit of a problem with my Groupon account. It turns out that someone had hacked into it and made a fraudulent charge on my Visa card. I wasn't the only one this happened to, either. Groupon's services had been hacked, and they were slow to respond to the issue.

Eventually, a support team member called me and credited my Visa card for the amount of the fraudulent charge. They also gave me $60 for my inconvenience. But the inconvenience didn't stop there. I decided to use some of the money to purchase a hair bonnet dryer, but when I received the acknowledgement email, it said that the bonnet would be delivered to the fraudulent address. I immediately sent an email to Groupon to let them know, but they said there was nothing they could do once the order had been submitted.

I called their support team and argued with them for 10 minutes before they finally put me through to a manager. Even then, I had to argue again before she would credit my account. I tried to order the same product again, but the confirmation email still said it would be delivered to the fraudulent address. I tried several times, but the same thing kept happening.

I called Groupon again and sent them an email to let them know that their system was still not working properly. The breach had not been corrected, and the information for the fraudulent person was still attached to my account. I also told them that I was owed for three bonnets that had been shipped to the wrong address. I sent them emails and screen captures showing that the address was correct when the order went through, but I still haven't heard back from them.

I want to warn others to be careful when dealing with Groupon. Your account information is not safe! Their system has been breached, and they are not doing enough to correct the issue. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about their customers or fixing their system. Do you really want to do business with a company that doesn't take breaches seriously or help those who have been affected by their lack of attention and care for their clients?

Oh, and now they've sent me two bonnets and want me to pay for the shipping back of one of them. Seriously? It's just one more thing to add to the list of problems I've had with Groupon.

Groupon.com Unsatisfied with Groupon's Glitchy Website and Poor Customer Service

groupon.com is a website that offers discounts on various products and services. However, I recently had a bad experience with the site. There was a glitch on the website that caused me to click "place order" multiple times, but the screen kept showing a loading image and spinning. It was frustrating to wait and see if my order went through.

To make matters worse, Groupon does not send a notification when the order goes through. The only way to find out is to log in again the next day and check the "purchased" section. I also learned that many of the discounts they sell are final sale, and after three days, they will not refund your money. This policy shows that they do not care about customer satisfaction.

I tried to contact their customer service, but they were unhelpful. They told me that there was nothing they could do about the glitch and that the sale was final. As a software developer, I know that anything on their webpage can be changed or modified, so their response was dishonest. Their tone made it sound like they cared, but they did not do anything to fix the issue.

I read other reviews on sitejabber.com and saw that many customers were unsatisfied with the company. Some even called them a "disgraceful company" and warned others to avoid them. Looking at the rating distribution, it seems that they have more unsatisfied customers than satisfied ones.

I provided my contact information to Groupon, but I doubt they will call me to discuss my bad experience. I canceled my other two items and will no longer support or use Groupon. I warn others to think twice before using this website because they do not care about customer satisfaction and have fine print on almost every item they sell.

Groupon.com Unfair Policies: My Experience with Groupon as a Business Owner

I've been using Groupon for my business for the past 4 years and it was great at first. I was making around $500,000 a year and my wife was able to quit her job to take care of our babies. However, things took a turn for the worse in 2017 when they implemented a new program called "Merchant Graduation". The program is supposed to help sellers reach higher sales thresholds, but there's a catch. You need to have all green metrics on your scorecard before you can graduate to the next level. I wasn't able to graduate for 4 months and when I finally did, my account got suspended again.

To make matters worse, Groupon has a metric for how many times a customer opens up a ticket, which they call C2M. This means that if a customer asks too many questions about their order, you get penalized. It's ridiculous! Instead of making $400,000 a year, I'm now only making around $50,000. Groupon also refunds customers without notifying the seller, which is not legal at all. They also close listings based on low ratings, even if the complaints have nothing to do with the product itself.

Groupon's policies are not fair to sellers and they don't seem to care about their customers either. They only show listings on their website, which limits sales potential. They also judge ratings only on the people who leave reviews, instead of taking into consideration the people who don't leave reviews. This is not a fair system and it's hurting small businesses like mine.

I've decided to switch to Amazon, where they don't limit sales potential and they contact sellers before refunding customers. Their algorithms are also well-designed for sales of $300-$1000 a day. I'm done with Groupon and their unfair policies.

Groupon.com Groupon Review: Terrible Customer Service and Runaround for Simple Name Change

I gotta say, my experience with Groupon was not a good one. It was my first time using their service and it will definitely be my last. I work at a hotel, so I know how third-party bookings work and how they correspond with hotels. I booked a room at The Liki Tiki Resort for my birthday trip in June. I usually go to this resort twice a year and always try to find the cheapest way to book the rooms. My friend recommended Groupon after I recommended the resort to her for her birthday trip, so I decided to check it out. The price was way better than the other site I had checked out, and they even offered free cancellation up until four days before my check-in date, without any extra fee. All of this was just amazing, so I spoke to my mom, and we agreed to go ahead and book the hotel room before it sold out, which it did.

While making the reservation, I was using my mother's card and her name and all that jazz, since I am only turning 20 and the card is under her name. Remind you, I am a front desk agent, so I know in almost all cases, in order for a guest to check in, the card has to be under their name. So, I booked the room with no issues using my mother's name, received the confirmation, and thought I was all set. Now, a couple of weeks later, I go and check out my reservation on Groupon to make sure everything was how it should be. I sign in and proceed to my reservation, and lo and behold, my reservation was now under my name and not my mother's. Immediately after seeing this, I searched for a way to change the name on my own. Once I figured out I couldn't do that, I had to find a way to get in contact with Groupon since they don't have a phone number (MAJOR RED FLAG).

So, I go through their online live chat to speak to an agent. I explain to them my situation, and he informs me that he cannot change the name on the reservation. I would have to go directly to the resort, WHICH IS A LIE! When booking a reservation with a third party, they are the only ones who are authorized to change your booking, not the hotel. So, I decided to humor him and contact the resort. He gave me the reservations department, and I asked him if he was sure about the hotel making the changes and not them. I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and called the reservation department. As I expected, they could not change the name on the reservation, which I already knew. But not only did the representative tell me that she could not change the name, but also I would not be able to check in due to my age, even if my mother was there with me. She cannot check in because it is under my name.

So now, I am more than a little upset because not only is a mistake on their side messing up my vacation, but I am possibly not going to be able to get a refund if I do decide to cancel because I cannot check in. So, I contact Groupon a second time, explaining everything from the name change to the agent that flat out lied, and then requested to speak to a supervisor like the lady from the resort recommended I do. The agent agreed that she would transfer me, but instead, she ended the chat. Now I'm frustrated. Not only am I getting the runaround, but I still have not had anyone resolve my issue.

So, for the third time, I reach out to Groupon and tell them everything again and request a supervisor. The agent told me to wait while he transferred me to the supervisor. So, I waited for about 20 minutes for this supervisor when the agent tells me that there is a delay in the service, and the supervisor will just give me an email to try and resolve the issue. I told him this is fine as long as the name is changed on my reservation. I got no response for another 20 minutes, and I kept checking back to see if I did or not. Finally, a little later on, I see he has transferred me to a supervisor, and the supervisor ended the chat due to no reply. Mind you, I'm still under the impression I am receiving an email instead of a live chat.

Finally, fed up and frustrated, I contact Groupon for a FOURTH TIME, explain everything again FOR A FOURTH TIME, and request a supervisor yet again for the THIRD TIME! The agent agrees to transfer me to a supervisor yet again, then he has the nerve to tell me, "Unfortunately, we do not have an option to transfer the chat to a Supervisor." When, mind you, I have been transferred to a supervisor before, actually twice because once before, they transferred me to the wrong department supervisor, BUT A SUPERVISOR NONETHELESS! So, the agent and I go back and forth for a while about how I "Cannot be transferred." When all I want is a simple name change, it would literally take them about three minutes to change the name, but yet they are giving me the runaround. At this point, I am 4 hours in trying to get Groupon to DO THEIR JOB!

Finally, the agent says that they will contact their outbound department to call the resort to change the name on the reservation. Something that could have been done in 5 minutes, but took them 4 hours to do this. I have yet to see a change in my reservation, and no one has contacted me. Overall, I would not recommend Groupon to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not care about their customers.

Groupon.com Terrible Experience with Groupon: Customer Service is Disgusting and Useless Options Offered for Refunds

I recently had a terrible experience with Groupon and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is absolutely disgusting. I had to deal with two different representatives and both were unhelpful and repeated the same nonsense over and over. They didn't listen to anything I had to say and seemed to have no concern or care for their customers.

I was trying to get a refund for a service that was not provided to me. I had to wait days for a response, only to be addressed by another name that wasn't even mine. They only offered me Groupon money instead of my actual money back, even after I explained that I am from South Africa and they don't have Groupon there. It was a useless option for me and they didn't seem to care.

I believe that if a service is not provided, one should have the full right to their money back and not just Groupon money. It's like they are stealing people's money and not providing any guarantee on the services that you purchase. It's like a gamble with your money.

When I contacted them again, I got no help at all. They refused to admit that I paid for a full six sessions, even though I never received them. They kept making excuses and wouldn't refund my money. It was like talking to a brick wall.

Overall, I would not recommend Groupon to anyone. Their customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers. They only offer useless options and won't give you your money back. It's like they are stealing people's money and not providing any guarantee on the services that you purchase. It's a complete fraud and a waste of time.

Groupon.com Groupon and SNA ruined our dream holiday, costing us over $6000 and leaving us devastated. Don't trust them!

Me and my family decided to book a holiday through Groupon, as we found a tour package called 777 that seemed like a great deal. The actual cost was $777 each for three people. We live in Sydney, but we booked a flight from Melbourne to China, even though we had to pay for domestic flights as well, because Sydney was sold out. We thought it would be worth it because the deal was so cheap.

We contacted SNA many times to find out the actual day the flight leaves, but they were never sure. They always said it would probably be on the 7th or 8th of November. After months of calling, we finally got confirmation that the flight was on the 8th of November and that flights always leave in the afternoon around 4 to 5 pm. So, we thought it would be safe to get there around 12-1pm.

We asked SNA many times to send confirmation of tickets to both adults' emails we originally gave, but they continuously ignored our request to do so. After they confirmed the flights for the 8th of November in July/August, we booked flights to Melbourne for the 7th and a hotel. Two months after they confirmed the flights for the 8th of November, a woman from SNA called me in September and said, "Sorry, your travel dates have been changed for the 7th of November." I started crying and said, "But you told us that it's definitely the 8th of November, and we've already booked domestic flights to Melbourne for the 7th and a hotel." Eventually, she got back to us and said, "Yes, it's ok, your flights are now confirmed for the 8th again." I asked, "Where are the tickets? I've given you the correct email address six times, and we still haven't received anything."

That's when I really started to panic and called Groupon in October, telling them of the situation and how I feel they can't be trusted. They changed dates and ignored both our requests for plane tickets to be sent to the correct email. Groupon didn't care less, stating the vouchers had been redeemed in August already by the merchant, and no refund was allowed.

The morning of the 8th of November, I called SNA from the Melbourne hotel, panicking and pleading, "Where are our tickets? We still haven't received them." He said, "Your flights have just left at 9am." I cried, "We were told the flight leaves around 4-5 pm!" He said, "Your tickets were sent to you via email in October." I started crying and said, "No, you didn't send them. I don't have them. You've made a mistake, and the flights we were told always leave in the afternoon, around 4-5 pm latest." He asked, "Who told you this?" I told him his name and stated, "He even said he confirmed with a supervisor." He argued, "No, he didn't." A woman then took my call and told us to go straight to the airport and explain what happened to the airline, China Southern Airlines.

When we got to the airline, we were told by the manager of China Southern, "We can't help you. It's our policy, no show no go. We can't arrange another flight, even if there are vacant seats because it's against our policy. Call the travel agency." By now, we were all crying, trying to explain what SNA had done, but this Chinese man was so cold he didn't care. He continued to tell us, "I can't help!" The agency called back, and the supervisor said, "You're just trying to blame someone. The tickets were sent to your email address in October." I had a nervous breakdown then and there and kept repeating, "But you didn't send them to the correct email address if you even sent them at all." He then hung up.

My young son was on the floor crying his eyes out. A help desk referred us to a team of two who worked for the airport, who help people in crises, to negotiate on their behalf with airlines. But they said China Southern was the worst to deal with, ruthless, and had left the office. They then organized for Jetstar to change our return flight to Sydney ASAP. The next flight available was the following day at 12.30 pm. We slept at the airport overnight, waiting for 30 hours to get home from a trip to nowhere. All of us were devastated. The total cost lost was $6000+. Visas, passports, hotel, domestic flights, taxis to and from airports, and over $2300 lost through Groupon. I can't believe I trusted them after already having one bad experience with a merchant's false advertisement in Groupon, which they refused to remove from their site even after I showed them evidence of this illegal advertisement.

Don't trust Groupon or the merchant SNA. When Groupon was notified, they asked for details of events, total expenses lost, dockets, etc., to be sent via email to Groupon customer support. But before I had the chance to send anything, they sent an email saying, "Not our responsibility. Take it up with the merchant. Your tickets were already redeemed in August this year." When I asked Groupon, "Why didn't you wait for details of events like you asked?" They sent practically the same previous email. When I then threatened to go to the media or a lawyer, they replied, "Go to a third party. We'll tell them the same thing."

We've all been so depressed for three weeks now, as we saved for this trip for years and lost it all. We feel totally scammed by Groupon for ruining what was meant to be the holiday of a lifetime for my small family.

Groupon.com Groupon's Terrible Customer Service: Non-Transferable Tickets and No Assistance

I've been using Groupon for a while now and I've had a few issues here and there, but I understand that things happen. However, my recent experience with Groupon was not okay and I think they need to be concerned about who is representing them to their loyal customers. I bought two tickets to The Beatles Love show in Vegas for my mother and her friend. I made sure to have the name and spelling of her friend so I could add that to the tickets. However, when I went to make the purchase, I couldn't find a spot to add the names for the vouchers. I thought I could add them after the sale, but that wasn't the case. I received two vouchers with my name automatically added and it stated that my name had to be on the ID to pick both of them up at the box office.

I tried contacting Groupon within a minute of the sale and was finally able to get someone through live chat less than 5 minutes after the purchase. This person informed me that there was nothing he could do because they were non-transferable and non-refundable. He also informed me that even if he escalated the situation, I would get the same answer and that I wouldn't receive a call from anyone for 24-48 hours! I then tried the box office, and the woman there was very nice, sympathetic, and helpful even though the problem wasn't hers to solve. There was nothing she could do, but she tried everything she could with me for about 30 minutes and sincerely apologized every time she came back on the line to say her idea didn't work out. After trying with her, I tried Groupon again and this time, I requested a phone call online. Someone called me about 30 minutes later, but she wasn't understanding my problem because she wasn't truly listening to me and that was very frustrating. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and when she came back, she started to tell me how to purchase a Groupon. I was dumbfounded considering I had already spent 10 minutes explaining to her that I had already made the purchase and needed assistance with it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for another 20 minutes before a very rude man picked up the phone.

This man has no business being in customer service and I only wish he had provided his name. He refused to let me speak and just kept repeating the policy in the fine print. I was trying to explain that the problem was in the purchasing process but he told me this Groupon was not allowed to be purchased as a gift and I should have realized that. I asked if he was telling me that I was out $158.87 and if he was really not going to try and help me at all and his response was "yeah, I guess that is what i'm saying. I'm not willing to do anything because that is our policy. If you want to talk to someone else, you can request another call on the site" and HUNG UP on me! I have never experienced anything like that in customer service. They ought to be ashamed.

I understand company policies, but I also understand good business practice and this entire transaction, from start to finish, was not good business practice. It is not my fault that their system didn't ask for names on these vouchers and just automatically added mine. Nowhere on the Groupon, anywhere, does it state that these tickets cannot be purchased as a gift and if I am able to purchase multiple tickets, why would there not be a place to add names, especially if they refuse to assist you after the purchase? I work for a group travel company and have purchased event tickets for multiple people numerous times and through numerous companies. Each and every other company does not even allow you to finish the sale without physically typing in a name for each voucher, when they are non-transferable. Even the woman at the box office used the excuse that the tickets are like a plane ticket! You cannot purchase a plane ticket, or any other non-transferable ticket, without prompting the customer for names to show on the front. Also, even airlines will allow you to change the names on your plane ticket.

Groupon just added my name automatically and then basically told me I was out $158.87 without so much as an apology. Of the 3 people I spoke with at Groupon, not one of them even said they were sorry this happened. They made the decision not to assist me in any way, even though they were fully capable of making things right or, at the very least, offering some sort of credit to my account. I am appalled at the way this was handled and the way I was treated, and you can be sure I will never purchase another thing from Groupon.

Groupon.com Groupon's Refund Policy During COVID-19: A Frustrating Experience

I recently had an experience with Groupon that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had purchased a Groupon on January 29th, 2020, and due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to cancel it. I was within the cancellation window, and according to Groupon's policy at the time, I was entitled to a refund to my original form of payment.

However, when I went to the site to request a refund, I found that the refund button was not active. The only option available to me was to receive the refund in Groupon Bucks. I did not want Groupon Bucks, as this was not the policy when I signed up for the service.

I reached out to Groupon's customer service through their chat feature, hoping to find a solution. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with informed me that due to the effects of COVID-19 on local businesses, their policy had changed. They were no longer able to offer refunds to the original form of payment outside of the cancellation window. Instead, refunds would be issued exclusively in Groupon Bucks.

I was frustrated by this response, as I had followed the policy in place at the time of my purchase. I asked to speak with a supervisor, but was told that due to high call volumes, they were unable to escalate my request.

I understand that these are difficult times for everyone, but I do not believe that it is fair for Groupon to hold onto my money in this way. I am not interested in Groupon Bucks, and I believe that I am entitled to a refund to my original form of payment as per the policy in place when I made my purchase.

I have taken a screenshot of my chat with the customer service representative and plan to share my experience on Yelp, blogs, Facebook, and Groupon's home page. I am also considering speaking with an attorney about the possibility of a class action lawsuit.

Overall, I am disappointed in my experience with Groupon. I had hoped for a more satisfactory resolution, and I do not believe that their current policy is fair to their customers.

Groupon.com Groupon Discriminates Against Home-Based Massage Therapists: My Frustrating Experience

I recently had an experience with Groupon that left me feeling frustrated and insulted. A representative from Groupon contacted me about starting a campaign for my Massage Therapy business in Mystic, CT. Despite my initial reluctance, I agreed to give it a try for a very short term.

However, after signing the contract and confirming that my business was located in a separate area of my home with its own entrance, the representative informed me that I could not offer a Groupon on their site because my business was located inside my home. This was contrary to what she had already confirmed was accepted before.

I was angered and insulted by this decision, as it seemed to be based on a stereotype about Massage Therapists who work from home. I am a successful and established Massage Therapist with several state licenses, national certifications, and full insurance. My business is registered and legal in the Town of Stonington, CT, and I pay taxes for it.

I understand Groupon's concern about incidents happening, but incidents can happen anywhere, not just in a residential office. There are simple modifications that can be made by Groupon to prevent incidents, such as requiring license verification, proof of liability insurance, and references.

If these modifications were mandated by Groupon, then there wouldn't be any reason why anyone holding a state license shouldn't be accepted as a merchant, regardless of where their office is located. This is common sense.

I have been in this profession for over 15 years and know how to run a good, successful business. I believe that Groupon should heed my advice, suggestions, and experience, and change their discriminatory policies towards Massage Therapists.

If I am ignored, I will send this letter to many media outlets and several others in the population that have a large internet presence. I am also a Groupon stockholder and am very disappointed in what I have invested in right now. I ask that they remedy this issue promptly.

Groupon.com One gold plated chain and a silver plated bracelet

I bought the items above on February 28, 2024. Problem began same day of arrival approximately 3 weeks later. I contacted Groupon, directed me to the sellar, the sellar said don't call him call Groupon. I am still communicating with Groupon and have not received the refunds. I feel I am being given the run around. April will be a month trying to resolve this. Please help. Items are not expensive. It is the principal of the matter and their advertisement sales pitch.

Groupon.com Airport lounge vouchers

I purchased two airport lounge vouchers for $14. The text implied there would be no further fees. When I went to redeem the vouchers I was presented with an additional bill for $466. I was completely denied a refund with boilerplate by a bot.

This is deceptive and dishonest and it is not the first time. I have dumped entire shopping carts where the shipping price per item was the same or double the item price. Groupon has turned into a scam site.

n both September 11th and September 26th, I had conversations with Kaycie. During these discussions, I contacted the establishment to schedule massage appointments for the month of October. However, I was informed that all available slots are fully booked until the end of October. It has come to my attention that my Groupon voucher is set to expire on October 17th. I must express my dissatisfaction with the fact that I may potentially lose the monetary value of this voucher. Kaycie told me that Groupon was aware of the overbooking and did not care. Groupon.com Groupon would not provide a refund for service not provided

Groupon advertised a special for window washing that I purchased. I called the merchant to schedule an appointment but he did not return my call until four days later. At that time he stated he could not honor the groupon because I live outside of his service area. When I contacted Groupon they would not refund the service because it was past their 3 days window to issue refunds even though the merchant did not contact me within that 3 days.

There was an exclusion buried in fine print stating the service area had to be within 20 miles but it was not obvious to anyone looking at the Groupon, you would have had to read through all the fine print to find it.

Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded the money for the service I purchased that can not be used.

Groupon.com Buggy tour/ mob, organized crime - new orleans

We were excited to go on our horse drawn carriage ride/ tour in New Orleans. We paid the $70.00 per person or $140.00 (for my husband and I) to Groupon, along with another tour and a food coupon.

The purchase was made on August 14th for a 4:30 pm tour on August 24th. We arrived at the meeting soon by 4:00 that afternoon and stood around, in 95 degree heat until 5:00. No horses.

Asking another tour company, we found out that it’s dangerous for the horses to be out in that kind of heat, we called the business, left a message to reschedule while we were in town, they did not.

We have been trying since, to get Groupons customer service to help, just getting hoop after hoop after hoop. We even contacted the tour company through Groupons site and asked them to help. Haven’t heard from them.

Desired outcome: We need our 140.00 back from Groupon, we have zero fault here.

Groupon.com Groupon vouchers -theft of Groupon bucks

I have attempted to reach out to the businesses for the vouchers that I purchased, until finally I gave up and traded them in and then I was involved in an accident that left me immobile for a few months, I reach out to Groupon to purchase another deal only to find out my Groupon bucks are literally gone. I reach out to live chat only to be told that I can purchase the same vouchers only except those merchants won't honor the Groupon, I am ignored or told by the merchant to purchase outside of Groupon so they can get all the money instead of half from Groupon. So, basically I lost over $250 now. I will never use them again and I will tell my coworkers, friends and family not to use them either. Merchants want to get clients and use Groupon yet don't want to accept the Groupon because they only get half, then my advice don't get a advertised Groupon! I think it's time to talk class action as many others have said..

Desired outcome: Get my money back not just another voucher for the merchants that refused to honor the Groupon or ignore me because I said I had a Groupon.

Groupon.com refund

If I could give no stars I would. Groupon have terrible customer service. You can't speak with anyone on the phone only through email. There was an unauthorized transaction made on my account. I reported the circumstance Groupon still took the money out of my account and submitted falsified documents to my bank stating that I redeemed a voucher that was never redeemed. The payment was for $629 which is ridiculous. I provided them with proof from the bank, still no help. Please watch your account and be careful with using groupon. They are fraudulent and will not resolve your issues!

Groupon.com Unable to access my account

In April 2023 my account was accessed and a good amount of Groupons were purchased. When i realized they were purchased, i reached out to customer service and was told that the charges were not fraudulent and i would be responsible for the charges. I ended up paying my credit card, even though I also told my credit card company they were fraudulent charges. Since i ended up paying the balance, i figured i would access the Groupons that i now owned. When i tried i couldn't get into my account. I've been deactivated with almost $800 worth of Groupons. I've contacted customer service and continuously am being told I've violated terms of services -disputes. I reached out once for a ton of purchases. Now my account can't be reviewed and I've lost a lot of money. So not only did someone hack into my account, or it was done in their end, i also am being punished for the activity. I guess lesson learned... Don't complain to Groupon. You'll never get to a supervisor or manager in customer service and you'll continue to use email to connect with someone who has no time to truly do the research. This is theft at this point.

If anyone knows how to connect with a supervisor or manager, please let me know.

Desired outcome: Access to my account or refund... Or both

Groupon.com Disappointing Experience with Groupon: Hotel Booking and Refund Issues

00%) of our money back to our credit card. It took over a month to get the refund, but we finally did.

Overall, our experience with Groupon was not great. We were disappointed with the hotel we booked through them, and even more disappointed with the way they handled our situation. It was frustrating to have to deal with so many phone calls and emails just to get a refund. We also felt that Groupon should have done more to investigate the hotel before offering it as a deal on their site. We will think twice before booking through Groupon again.

Groupon.com Groupon Review: Poor Quality Products, Terrible Customer Service, and No Returns

Groupon has been a real headache for me. The products they sell are of such poor quality that they don't even last for a few days. When I tried to return them, they refused to take them back, citing their 14-day return policy. It's ridiculous that they don't support their customers, and I don't understand why they even have a customer support department.

My first experience with Groupon was when I bought a voucher for a restaurant that was closed. They did refund my money, but it was a bad omen. I then bought some clothes for my daughter, and they started unraveling within a month. I thought it was just a one-off incident, but then my 1-year-old niece accidentally ordered Walking Dead tickets on my phone. I managed to get my money back, but it was a close call.

For Christmas, I ordered a Bluetooth car device that was supposed to diagnose car problems. However, it didn't connect to Bluetooth, and since it was after the 14-day return period, they refused to take it back. I also bought three Groupons for mugs that show a picture when hot liquid is poured in them. The first one didn't work, and when I tried to contact PrinterPix, they didn't answer. I emailed them after a month, and they asked me to send them a picture. Two months later, I got the mug, and it still didn't work.

I thought it might be the picture, so I sent two more in for the other two Groupons. One of them came in shattered, and when I tried to call PrinterPix, I couldn't get through. I emailed them, but it's been almost two months, and I still haven't received a reply. When I contacted Groupon, they asked me if I had tried contacting PrinterPix. Seriously?

I finally told them to take me off their email list, and I won't be ordering from them again. It may take me a while to learn my lesson, but eventually, it sinks in. If you get a defective, broken, or wrong product, you'll be out of luck. If the service is poor or nonexistent, you'll be screwed. That's probably how they make their money. They'll apologize and say they don't want their customers to feel that way, but they have "policies."

I'm only giving them a 1 because a few of the things I bought were okay, but it's a gamble. If you have issues, you're out of luck. So, buyer beware.

Groupon.com Misleading groupon deal at the melting pot restaurant - beware!

Me and my partner decided to try out Groupon for the first time on 1/3/2017. We purchased a coupon for $100 to use at The Melting Pot restaurant in Bedford, Massachusetts. The deal was advertised as being able to apply our $100 to meals and receive 4 $25 credits when we visited the restaurant 4 times. We were excited to try out this new restaurant and save some money while doing it.

However, on 1/25/17, when we went to use the coupon on a $37 meal, we found out that the deal was not exactly as described. We had thought we could use our $100 over several visits, but our waiter told us we needed to spend it all in a single visit. We showed them the deal, and asked them to show us where it said that, but they could not. Nonetheless, the restaurant said we needed to spend the rest of the $100 on that visit, which we did not want to do. They said they could do nothing and we had to take it up with Groupon. We paid for that meal in cash and left, very unhappy, but expecting at least to get a refund.

We were not the only ones who had this experience. After visiting the restaurant, we read the reviews of the offer, and there were two which recounted experiences identical to ours. One called it the biggest scam around. Also, reading all the other scam victims of Groupon on this website provides strong evidence for our government to take action to stop what Groupon is doing.

We contacted Groupon the next day. Even though we had good reason to ask for a simple refund, Groupon refused to give it. Over the course of several emails and phone calls, we gave them our arguments, but they just replied with bland robo-emails. They had our money and were not going to give it back.

We had charged it on a VISA card, and we entered a dispute. VISA listened to our story, saw our point and gave us a "provisional" $100 credit. But a few weeks later they took that back saying that they could not legally take back the money from Groupon (or at least were not willing to fight them for our measly $100.)

We were naive to trust Groupon, and it looks like we will get no satisfaction from them. We can at least warn others to beware of Groupon.

This episode reflects poorly on the business practices of both Groupon and The Melting Pot restaurant, neither of whom even apologized for the misleading offer. If they even cared, they could have at least improved the description of the deal to make it clearer, but they have not.

Good businesses stand behind what they sell. There is no good reason for Groupons 3 day refund rule, other than to keep the money of unhappy customers. They have no regrets as long as they can keep our money. We hope that others will learn from our experience and avoid using Groupon in the future.

I agree that the government should take action. I filed a complaint with the FTC and would encourage others to do the same, since it seems Groupon is scamming hundreds of people. If we all band together to complain to the FTC maybe something will be done!

Groupon.com Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Groupon Goods

I gotta say, I've never been one to leave a bad review, but this time I just gotta let it out. Groupon, man, they really let me down. I ordered this NCAA toolbox for my husband, but when it arrived, it was for the wrong school. So I called up customer service and spoke with Chris, who said he'd look into it and get back to me. A few days later, I got an email from him asking if I'd received his previous email, but I hadn't. Then he told me my item hadn't even shipped yet, which was weird because I already had it in my hands. I emailed him back, but didn't hear from him until a few days later. By this point, I was getting pretty frustrated.

So I called up customer service again and spoke with a woman who said she'd forward my issue to upper management. I told her that should have been done already and that it had been almost a week since I first contacted them. I just wanted my correct order, but it seemed like no one was paying attention to my issue. So I decided to just reorder it myself and send the incorrect one back. It was faster than trying to go through customer service, which was just a mess.

Honestly, I'm not gonna order from Groupon Goods again. It's not because of the mistake, but because of the customer service. I felt like I was being passed around and no one was really dealing with my issue. It's a shame, because I used to really like Groupon. But this whole ordeal just left a bad taste in my mouth.
