My strut stud being broken off my car when I took it in in to get new struts and that won't fix it
I got my car into Les Schwab Reno NV. They broke the stud for my strut off and drilled a hole where the stud was and ran a bigger bolt through the hole. Now my car makes a big thud every little bump I hit I have taken it back four times and they're acting like they don't know what's wrong with it... They tell me they can't hear the clunk I took it to a different store they can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it even though it is obvious that they drilled out the stud my hands are tied please I want to figure out how I can get this fixed
Desired outcome: Fix my car and refund me my money
Tire repair
Tire repair. I waited 5 hours to get a tire repair that the valve steam came loose and went flat. I have no spare tire on my car so I was stuck. I'm very dissatisfied with the amount of time I waited and wasted trying to get the tire fixed. This is not the way Les Schwab should be doing business. I believe that they didn't care weather I had the time or not. I've bought a lot of tires and products from this company. I'm now thinking that I will go elsewhere for my tires and work that needs to be done. I will be letting all my friends and my company know not to do business with your company anymore!
I'm totally disappointed in the way I was treated!
Desired outcome: Need to not have anyone wait more than at the most two hours for your products tire repairs. My time is very important as i’m an accountant. I’ll be letting all my customers know about this treatment
Payment services
I was just informed by my local les Schwab that if I pay online, which I have been advised to do by my
Financial planner, that I can and most likely will be charged a fee for being late because there is a disconnect between the banks and les Schwab billing. I find this infuriating, if I ask my bank to pay les Schwab with sufficient time for the money to get there and it still does not and I get charged a fee and my credit is dinged for a late payment, How is that my Problem! I did my part! I made the payment with plenty of time yet les Schwab dings me anyway and I find out that this is the rule not an
Exception. Seems like there's a class action law suit in there somewhere!
Desired outcome: Les Schwab deals with the banks instead of forcing fees on honest people.
My battery warranty
On January 22nd 2019 my 2001 Honda Civic needed a battery okay. We went to Les Schwab and purchased a 51 HXD-XHD battery for the amount of $140.99. Which came with a 72 months extended warranty which would end on January 22nd 2025. At the time I needed the battery I did not have enough money so my friend paid for it on that day and I paid her back the following week. Last week I took my car to Napa Auto Parts as my car was not running right they did some inspection and some checks and concluded that it was the battery that was bad. I purchase another battery for $159.99 from Napa Auto Parts as there was no Les Schwab near me. Today I took my warranty papers along with my receipt and the bad battery to get my prorated cash refund for the months that were still left on my warranty. Which is 40 months! They would not honor my warranty even though I had my receipt my warranty papers and my vehicle with me. Because my friend's name was on the receipt. I don't feel that this is Fair due to the reason of they're not giving a warranty to the person that pays for the battery they're supposed to be giving a warranty on the battery that was purchased from them! And by the way the battery only lasted 33 months out of the 72 months it was supposed to be warrantied. Does it make sense that they cannot give a refund to the person who has all the proper paperwork which is the receipt and the warranty papers, the defaulting battery and the vehicle that is listed on the receipt. but they can sell a battery to a person that does not own the car and present them with a warranty that they know would not be valid! Not too cool. They should have explained to us when we were purchasing the battery that the warranty would only be good to the person who paid for it and whose name is on the receipt.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for the faulty battery that you sold me. What's up everybody
Scratched 3 out of 4 rims when I bought a new set of tires for 1271.42 dollars
I went in to your Highlands ranch tire store, and purchased a set of 4 tires, and also for my money they managed to scratch 3 of the 4 rimes on my 2018 f-150. Also I watch the the service worker ram the tire on a rim into the lower fender, it also has a scratch after that also. I am not a complainer but I do not have a choice now, I tried to buff all the scratches with was before complaining. but there they are and they are not going away.
This happened at store 153 invoice # [protected], on 09-18-21 at 11:am. My name is Dan Bomar, [protected], I am a frequent customer, however I am rethinking why I am returning all the time since I bought a set of 14" white walls a year ago for a collector car at the same store and picked them up after the worker loaded them into the back of my truck. when I got them home the white walls were not white anymore from being scuffed up and again I tried to work on getting those white also and had little success without a complaint. My fault, for not complaining. And yet I returned this time thinking there would be a different result.?
My name is Vijay Kumar. Dec 2nd 2021 I took my flat tire to store 623 in Fairfield CA I was told it will be 3 hour wait I ask the person checking me in why 3 hours my tire is off the car and it should not take that long. With the tone of voice she said ARE YOU CHECKING IN OR NOT I said just a minute I went out side there were 2 cars in the lot and 3 in the shop. I come back and said you have guys their not doing any think and I think it can be fixed with in maybe 15 mints she snapped at me and said WELL IT STILL TAKE 3 HOURS.
I have been buying tires from Les Schwab for long time and it seems to me that they are so nice when giving them business and they put the ties on the car in no time but when its time to fix tires which is free they do not want to deal with the customers. I worked in customer service for 40 years and I will bend over back words to service the customer but people at this location need to go to customer service school to learn how to treat customers. In the service industries if there is no service there is no customer and if there is no customer then shut down the business.
Very disappointed with this location. Probable I will take my business some were else.
Brakes on 1977 corvette
Had brakes checked on my 1977 corvette diagnostic was passenger rear caliper needed replaced bleed system repair completed drove car home and again the next day noticed fluid on garage floor master cylinder leaking badly called the store on 18th street in Eugene Oregon talked the manager on Friday he said he would look into it and call me back Saturday he never called me back I'm retired GM they didn't check my corvette correctly before returning it dangerous thanks for your time David Barrett
Desired outcome: Manager nit doing his job leave it up to you
Vehicle returned and worse condition than left
Took my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for tire roation/balance and pre safety trip inspection. Upon receiving the vehicle back the air bag sensor now is continually lit. Contacted the business the next day when they were open to explain the situation and look for options to remedy the situation. Kent at the Layton, UT store was not willing to allow me to take the vehicle back in for a look over or willing to try and resolve the situation. Instead broke professionalism to try and give me love advice rather than address my issue. Kent did not listen to my issues and kept trying to talk over me. Kent was listening to speak and not listening to listen. Very rude and spoke to me like an uneducated minor trying to push me into doing my own diagnostics and troubleshoot as if I knew how to do his job. Rude and very defensive over me trying to find a resolution so something that was clearly not an issue before taking the vehicle in
Desired outcome: Repairs/diagnostics done correctly
Lack of Communication from a rude employee
On Friday, July 09, 2021, at 0830 hours, I called Store 661 at 1901 Lake Tahoe Blvd within South Lake Tahoe, CA. I spoke to employee Ervin who advised me of a 2-hour wait on walk-ins. Ervin told me it will be a two-hour wait. I returned at 1045 to be told by another employee of miscommunication with Ervin. Due to residing five hours away in Central California, this was unacceptable being Ervin never called to advise of the vehicle not being ready. I spoke to the manager Jason of this store and explained to him this was unacceptable due to Ervin making excuses and allowing another employee to take responsibility for his lack of communication. It's 1115 am and there is no way I will make it home on time to pick up my son.
Desired outcome: Employee Ervin should be written up for non commitment of customer with whom he stated the vehicle would be complete by 1030.
Bad quality parts and service, very retaliatory for calling them out on their bad work.
Reedsport Les Schwab: Complaint to HQ phone [protected]. First time. Tire flat. Took off rim said that they could not fix because not enough tread and I needed a new tire and because it was a 4x4 I needed all four. I schooled the manger and the employee of the difference between a 4x4 and an all wheel drive (AWD) got mad and left, later bought from Le...

I have a 2008 Lexus RX350 and Scotty Kilmer on YouTube told me to stay away from aftermarket parts for this particular model or any Toyota model for that matter. Les Schwab gave me a quote to replace my rotors and brake pads for $450 plus tax and I ask for my original parts and they said they use aftermarket parts and I thought he was going to tell me it...

I had requested a brake inspection at the Ellensburg WA location, I was very specific on what was going on with my brakes, and thought it might be the ABS system.
A team member told me they checked it out, and that I needed front brakes, on 4/22/2021(Invoice no [protected]) I had the brakes done, at a cost of $554.00, however I continued to have the same issue.
I called the store, and they told me to bring the car back in, this time they confirmed it was the ABS system. That when I had the brake inspection, they must not have test drove the car. Since they could not get the part, I would need to go to the dealership.
I was not happy, let the person know I just spent $554.00 to do brakes, that might not have needed to be done, this is not acceptable, he apologized, and said if he could get the part I needed, he would "take" care of me.
Maybe I did need brakes as well, but this is not how a customer should be treated. I have no idea if I was charged for a brake job that I did not need.
Not happy with the outcome at all.

Vehicle not repaired correctly
At about 4.15pm on 3/26/21 I paid for and picked up the keys of my 2015 Audi Q7 at the Les Schwab store located at 17171 Boones Ferry Rd, Lake Oswego, OR 97035. The vehicle had been parked reverse into the parking spot facing out immediately adjacent to and very close to the divider that has a large decorative stone boulder in it.
As I started to pull out, a white VW that was reversing across the length of the parking lot at a moderate speed passed right in front of my vehicle. I swerved to the right to avoid colliding with the VW and in doing so grazed the right molding of both doors along the stone boulder in the divider. I had noticed as I left the storefront that the vehicle had been parked in a parking spot in front of the entrance.
I stopped for a few seconds and noticed that the white VW continued to reverse at a moderate rate of speed past me for another 40 feet. I wasn't at first aware of the extent of the damage and pulled out on Boones Ferry. However, as I drove a few blocks, I also noticed that the digital speedometer in the vehicle was frozen at 7mph while I was driving at about 25mph. I pulled over and when I stepped out of the vehicle, I noticed the extent of the damage and came back to the store immediately to bring both the incident, vehicle damage and the erratic speedometer behavior to the notice of the Assistant Store Manager on duty, Stephen. I was appalled to learn that the driver of the white VW was not a customer but your own employee Modesto. It is surprising that there is no training in place to both discourage and prohibit employees from backing vehicles across the length of your parking lot in this case almost 75-100 feet. What if there had been a young child or toddler in the lot not readily visible to Modesto and the vehicle had struck the child. The conversation then would have been significantly more serious for potential liability to Les Schwab.
This incident report along with 2 estimates was forwarded to Les Schwab. On March 31, I received a letter from Elliott Carver at les Schwab HQ advising that the claim had been denied. I am now going to be out of pocket $6618 for body damage caused by the negligence of a Les Schwab employee following dangerous driving practices in their parking lot.
Further, the digital speedometer and electronics of the Audi are erratic because following the battery install the vehicle was not programmed correctly. I have an appointment at Audi Beaverton since the Les Schwab store is unresponsive to a resolution. Audi Beaverton advised that the Les Schwab store doesn't have the right computer equipment to correctly program an Audi following battery installation. This is an issue directly caused by negligence at the Les Schwab store as my vehicle was at the Audi dealer on 3/25 for a major 55, 000 mile service and the electronics were functioning correctly. This was 1 day before the battery install. I am now further out of pocket for a dealer repair as Les Schwab did not program the vehicle correctly as part of the battery install.
Desired outcome: 1. Pay fully or partially the claims damage I am out of pocket AND 2. Pay in full the Audi dealership repair fee caused by your inability to program the Audi effectively following a battery replacement
Flat repair
Franklin in bend oregon lea schwab, went in for simple patch due to screw in tire, waited nearly 2 hours, service was rude, no sense of urgency whatsoever. Drove back to prineville, tire patch failed within 2 hours, les schwab in prineville had to replace tire rather than repair. As we own a medical transport company transporting critical care patients, service like this is absolutely ridiculous.
Desired outcome: nobe
Appointments do not work
Hi. I have a suggestion on how to make appointments at the tire dealer more successful. Appointments are not real here. Even after I make an appointment. It is first come, first served. And waiting times are awful. To make true appointments and adhere
To them. Can be done. If you have a service bay for service emergencies. Air pressure checks and quick tire checks. And the other bays for pre appointments. What I'm saying is to be true about appointments.
Desired outcome: I believe this would improve your business.
Vehicle damage
On Monday, March 15, 2021, I drove from my home in Rogue River to Les Schwab on Union Ave., Grants Pass, to have the tires on our 2007 Volvo XC90 rotated. I arrived early and waited for the service to be completed. After the tire rotation, I drove off and noticed 2 fault messages on my dashboard, "Anti-Skid Temporarily Off" and "Spin Control Off". I...
Read full review of Les Schwab Tire CenterStupid advertisement
In one of the advertisements for Les Schwab Tire Center, They show the internal monlogue happening within three members in a car: A man, A dog, and a baby that is presumably his daughter. The mans internal monologue, or voice is ok, vaguely annoying, but ok. The dogs 'voice' is absolutely ridiculous. The dog in question is a golden retriever, and it sounds like some dweeby 45 year old man who still lives with his parents. But it gets even worse with the baby; I don't know who they picked to voice that poor sweet innocent child but I can only assume it was a 30 year old voice actress with a nasal problem who was down on her luck. It literally made me so embarrassed for their company, what a massive advertisement blunder! And it completely swayed me from Les Schwab; before this catastrophe of a commercial, I had frequented Les Schwab, going to them for all my tire needs. But now? I honestly don't think I can go back there. All I'll be able to think about is that ridiculous commercial. Please get rid of it, I can promise you it is nooooooot helping your company.
Desired outcome: Get rid of the ad, don't air it anymore
Customer service
I was on my way to work and noticed that my tire was flat I took it into les swab on Francis in Spokane Washington and was met by a rude front desk receptionist I didn't catch her name. After explaining to them that I was on my way to work and would need to be helped as fast as possible she cut me off and said first come first served and said you can wait...
Read full review of Les Schwab Tire CenterWe had new tires, struts and a front end alignment
They did not tell us we needed to replace our strut mounts. It's going to cost just as much to replace them as it did the struts. If they would have told us at the time the only extra cost would have been the mounts. We have happily paid this to have our vehicle riding properly. The price of the mounts are next to nothing. Labor cost the most.
Desired outcome: Have the mounts replaced for the price of the parts only. No cost for having to do another alignment.
