I have been receiving phone calls from a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent saying that he is calling in regard to medical compensation. I have asked to be taken off the call list a number of times, but still receive communications. Calls have come from a variety of phone numbers, and below is the list of phone numbers I have detected.

I, too, have been getting these calls and have told them to stop calling. They still call!
They call every Friday starting about 7:30 am MST and continue all day. EACH CALL FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER. I am on the do not call list and have told them so. They will not stop. Foreign voice. Even told me to "shut up and listen". I have reported all these numbers to the government do not call complaint office. I wish everyone luck getting rid of them. If I and find my lifeguard whistle they will get an earful!
I am getting them too. I have tried calling them back and it a disconnected number? The people have heavy indian accent. They call two to three times a day...

I've been getting their phone calls for over a month and it's a real thorn in my side! I have people in my family who call from out of state and from unknown numbers, so I always take a chance and answer all my calls and most of the time it's the Indian guy asking me about medical compensation. I don't know how to make them stop calling me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have been getting these same calls for months. Telling me I had bladder surgery which I never had. I put my number on the DO NOT CALL LISTS. I HAVE TO SCREAM AT THEM TO GET THEM TO LISTEN TO ME THAT I HAVEN'T HAD SURGERY. Now they are blocking their number. I pick up the restricted calls because when my daughter calls me from her office it comes through like that, I can't tell if it her or not so I answer it in case she needs me. But most of the time it is these jerks. I can't get them to stop. They have used so many numbers I couldn't keep track. I tell you when it started when I filled out an on line survey for KOHL'S DEPARTMENT STORE. I will never do that again for anything. Never got the $25 gift card I was promised from them either, just a lot of hassling phone calls.
Yes my situation is exactly the same. The first time I was patient and answered their questions. The second time I told them so. The third time I was annoyed & asked them to stop calling & take me off their call list. They call several times a day now and block their number. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I see some people report getting calls for months. How can we stop this? It's my cell phone so it costs me money every tme they call. I'm fed up.
I'm having the same problems, All Indian voices, all numbers that differ and occasionally are blocked. Some say they are with the Government Health Agency, some with Medical Compensation Plan. Some even call themselves Agents for the health agency. I try to get them to stop calling, but they keep calling 3-4 times a day, for almost a year now. I'm about to change my number from this, it's getting ridiculous. I am on the do not call list and have told them so multiple times. I report every single call I get to the Do Not Call agency, and it hasn't done jack squat.
I have been getting these calls over the past few days. i question the guy about where he got my medical info, and all he would do is reply that he is with the medical compensation system I informed him of HIPA laws regarding the confidentiality of medical info and his story changed to "I am doing a survey"! I informed him that I had no intention of sharing my medical info for a survey and asked him what legal company he was connected with, and again he said Medical comp..etc. I demanded to know how to contact his the legal company hiring him and he hung up on me! Of course, he has called back several times from various numbers and I told him he is stupid. These calls can be traced to a telecommunication company which is a way for these idiots to hide their real numbers. Unless we can pass laws regarding telecommunication companies fronting for these illegal individuals I don't know what we can do. I also have been getting calls for several months from "Credit Card Services", another group that you can't directly track and will hang up on you when you demand an address or phone number of their headquarters. Today I started getting calls from the same number, and sounding just like the guy calling about medical compensation, telling me he is in Washington and the government has $9000 to send me...I called him an idiot too. They not only call my home, but have discovered my cell which really pisses me off.
I have been getting the same call for 3 weeks now. I tell them every phone call to remove me from their calling list and inform them I an on the NDC list. Generally they just hang up on me. A few of the numbers I was able to call back and speak to someone, who of course barely spoke English and obviously didn't accomplish removing my name/number from their system.
Random questions for everyone getting these calls; did you try and donate blood to the American Red Cross? I noticed the day after donating I started getting these calls. Then last night my mother-in-law confirmed she has been getting the same calls starting the same time, and she was donating with me.
Call your phone company and tell then you want a "CPNI" BLOCK. It permanently denies any more calls by taking away consent to have your info (Including phone number) gIven out. I just did it so we will see in the next few days if the SOB's stop.
National DO NOT CALL is a joke
I've been getting a slew of them as well. Not only at home, but in my office (which happens to be a government agency) as well. Today I tried to get them to tell me what medical information they have about me, since they made the call, but he just kept going on about that he's offering medical compensation in the event that I need surgery. Yeah, sure.
I agree, the Do Not Call list isn't worth anything. In fact I've been getting so many "spam" calls lately that I'm rarely answering my telephone. But this one at the infamous "Bankcard services" top the list. What's particularly scary about these spammers is that they prey on elderly people who believe what they're saying and therefore are highly susceptible to identity theft. Please warn your grandparents NOT to give any personal information to anyone, even if they sound nice and are offering something they'd want!
I been getting this call about if I had A Bladder surgery or someone in my family, i keep telling them not, and still keep calling me..
I told them no to call me again!
Number is blow:[protected] also [protected]-8533
They claim to be call The Medical Help Line.. I called them back and there is not professional ethic when answering the phone..
Someone named Natasha with an India accent answered and I asked her where i was calling? she said then the Medical help Line, she proceed to tell How can I help you with?
I told REMOVING MY PHONE FROM YOUR LIST!
Hope it works!
People do not get scam .. Do not truth them, !
[protected] called me 4 times yesterday. Telling them not to call does not work. Telling them you've never ever had any of the medical procedures does not stop them from calling again. Asking to speak to their supervisor does not work.
I blocked the number on my cell phone. I have a lot of unused minutes, so then I called the number back a bunch of times to return the favor. I don't say anything, just hold the line until they hang up. Please continue to report the phone numbers they call from so we can block them. When I called back, the background noise was different (not like a call center), so these could be people working from their personal cell phones. Collectively, maybe we can bother them back more than they bother us!
I too have been receiving these calls on my house phone and today I received it on my cell. The men all with Indian accents all with the same name yell at you when you tell them to take your name off the list. The first few times they asked if I used some birth control. Now they are telling me I had bladder reconstruction. Today I played along and when I said I didn't have that surgery he asked if I had used birth control when I said no to that he asked if I ever used antidepressants. I said no to that too and he asked me if I was married, then asked if I was sexually satisfied. This is ridiculous. I asked him where he was from got the medical compensation answer, asked him where he was born he said the same thing. He told me he would call back at a later time and I said do not call me anymore AGAIN. The calls used to come from verizon wireless numbers, and I called verizon who checked them and said they were disconnected. I put a block on the numbers through verizon but now they call from restricted or unavailable numbers. This is extremely disturbing. Today the questions went way too far and when I hung up on him he called back a half hour later to say goodbye to me.
I got 2 more calls today--caller ID listed the first number as 'unavailable', but the 2nd call came from
[protected]
I now have 5 numbers blocked.
I also get these calls and stopped answering their calls. They call less now, but I also would like for it to stop. I contacted AT@T asking how to handle this problem and of course getting additional service is the only way to stop it. It was suggested that I contact the Attorney General in my state.
And now I get calls from not only the "medical compensation " dept but also from a guy claiming to be Alex Green from the IRS. He says I owe back taxes and he needs my bank info so he can take care of the payment for me. I have him a made up number of a credit card and ID code. He called back and said that the card info didn't work and so I told him that I had to call the bank and u would call him back. I never did. Isn't it a felony to impersonate federal officers or departments? Of course, I am sure they are calling from a different country. The guy is the always the same, same voice calling for medical comp and IRS. He always claims to have an American name like Alex or Joe or Mark. It is ridiculous.
I get these calls every day.. I decided to give them weird information. Really, really weird bizarre information like I died recently but my spirit is still in the house. It's becoming amusing. Of course, someday men in white coats might knock at my door.
I am getting calls from a man who has a thick accent from India and he is very rude and he states he knows about a surgery I had and he does know which surgery I had while I did not validate because how would he know this and why as I did not provide a written consent to release my PRIVATE Health information. I believe this violate the laws we have in place to protect our medical information. HIPPA and others! He would not tell me who he was how he got the information he just kept talking over me and telling me he has all my information e-mail, phone numbers, account numbers etc. Who are these people and how did they get this information. Who is going to stop them?
SCAM CALLERS! Heavy indian accents with very American-sounding names. Caller ID said Boston, but when I asked where they were located, he said Florida. I had trouble understanding him beyond something about "U.S. Medical Department" and "surgery." I said repeatedly I couldn't understand him, so I kept getting transfered back and forth between the same man and woman, both with heavy indian accents and "fake" American-sounding names like David Johnson or Jane Smith... They kept tellling me I deserve medical compensation for a past surgery. They asked if I had suregery in the past, and I said something vague like "Yes, when I was a kid, but I don't know what type of surgery." Then the man said that I only had to answer 6 questions once he transferred me to his supervisor, but he was going to tell me the answers to tell the other person, otherwise I wouldn't recieve medical compensation. Every time I said this seems strange or I don't understand, they just passed me to another person repeating the script in a garbled accent and persistent/demanding voice. They essentially told me to lie and say that I had some sort of bladder sling surgery one year, told me the reasons to tell the person they'd transfer me to, as well as saying I have specific complications and had the bladder sling removed the next year. They asked if there was a hospital nearby me and the name of it, but I didn't want to give them any more personal information so I said, "yeah, I can think of a few, I'll just say one" as I played along... Then they told me specifically to say that a Dr. Katsy did the surgery. No first name... And said that if I gave these exact answers to the person they'd transferm me to, that I'd be owed up to $10, 000 in compensation. "Free medical compensation" they said. And I said, I'm just not sure why you're contacting me. I have not had these surgeries. I don't want to lie." So the man transfered me to the woman and she said, "Why you not want to lie, for like two minutes, when it could get you free money?" As if alarm bells aren't already ringing in my head... And she sent me back to the man, who was having me "practice" for the next person to speak to... Asking all the questions that he'd already told me the answers to say. I again said, "I don't feel comfortable lying, and this seems like a scam, honestly." I even said, "there is no "U.S. Medical Department" (having googled it to see that this scam call shows up... and wondering how far they'd take it.) I was given the same response: "I am from the U.S. Medical Department. Don't you want compensation? Why not lie for two minutes to get compensation? This isn't a scam. I promise you this isn't a scam. You have to trust me and just do what I say, ok?" hmm... So he asked me whether I had the Bladder Sling Surgery, (expecting me to give the response he told me to write down) and I flatly said, "nope. haven't had that surgery." They tried going through their loopy logic again, but I finally said, "Look, I'm not comfortable with lying and this is getting weird. I think I'm going to hang up now." (Due to the extreme annoyance of this type of call... I was more than willing to waste their time at this point.) And the guy actually said, "Fine, stop wasting my time then. Just hang up, BI***!" ...but I didn't hang up right away, and I could hear in the background frustrated yelling and swearing... I only assume about how much time he spent talking to me... I could hear laughter like it was a very crowded room, and it was very odd that he never hung up the call, while I listened to them talk about how much time he'd wasted and complained and yelled... Finally someone over there wised up and hung up the phone. I've never experienced such pushy people trying to get me to lie about my medical records for free money. Other people say this is a lawsuit issue and there are women who have had medical issues related to these types of surgeries, and perhaps this was just employees trying to do their jobs, not knowing whether they were hired to do something unethical. Still, it was alarmingly invasive and rude. What's strange is that when I googled this number, computer-hacking scams came up. And when I googled this "free medical compensation from US Medical Department" I found that they're calling from a lot of numbers that show up as different states. Numbers which you of course cannot return calls to. I hope this message helps other people who are dealing with these callers... And I really wish there was a way to actually report them! It seems not only unethical and illegal, but especially after the guy called me a bi*** for "wasting his time" --- horribly rude! Whoever orchestrates these things should be arrested... Hopefully my staying on the line for half an hour for them to not succeed will prevent them from calling back. The number they called from was [protected]. When I tried to call back immediately, it said that "this is not a working number." I tried again half an hour later and it rang and rang before it said "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed." Just tried right after that (1 minute later!) and now "The number you have dialed is not in service." Seems like they are calling from cell phones... I just hope it stops! This is ridiculous and does completely violate HIPPA laws, and beyond that, telling someone to lie about surgery for medical compensation? I'm not sure what they get out of it... but it must be something. HORRIBLE! Sorry for anyone else who's gotten these calls. I posted a similar response on a different site for this number, and others said it had something to do with a Microsoft or Windows computer scam... Just gets weirder and weirder.

And said that if I gave these exact answers to the person they'd transfer me to, that I'd be owed up to $10, 000 in compensation. But if I said anything like "someone told me to say this" that the guy would lose his job and I'd lose compensation... "Free medical compensation" they kept saying. And I said, I'm just not sure why you're contacting me. I have not had these surgeries. I don't want to lie." So the man transferred me to the woman and she said, in poor English and a frustrated tone, "Why you not want to lie, for like two minutes, when it could get you free money?" As if alarm bells aren't already ringing in my head... And she sent me back to the man, who was having me "practice" for the next person to speak to... And the guy actually said, "Fine, stop wasting my time then. Just hang up then, BI***!" Despite my shock, I didn't hang up right away, and neither did he for some reason... I could hear in the background frustrated loud talking, yelling and swearing... I only assume about how much time he spent talking to me... I could also hear laughter like it was a very crowded room, and it was very odd that he never hung up the call, while I listened to them talk about how much time he'd wasted and complained and yelled... The number that called me was [protected], which I saw was associated with some Windows computer hacking scam... I tried to call it back, and it will alternate between "This is not a working number" or ring and then eventually say "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again." Based on that, I'm guessing they're on cell phones... Wish someone could enforce these people to stop this dismaying and illegal scam stuff.
no matter what you say or how many times you tell them not to call i swear they call more. They are calling from a call center and yes they are foreign. They use different phone numbers some times they even come up unknown caller. This is very stressful and unwanted by the people there must be some way to stop this it really is a scam I have never had bladder surgery and I haven't put in a claim nor have I taken medications they mention.
You can block all the numbers, but it won't do any good. They call from disconnected numbers. They have been calling me for months almost every day. I have to answer because my cell phone is my business phone. They called me at 7:00 am. They don't care. I am on all of the do not call lists. It does not keep you from getting cold calls. It just means you can report them for cold calling you. But try to prove it.
I've been getting the same calls from a man with a thick Indian accent regarding medical compensation. I also agree that the "DO NOT CALL Registry is a joke because I've been getting these calls for the past month, two and three times a day. I also have called back and received a message that the number is no longer in service. Someone has to stop these calls!
I have been PLAQUED with calls constantly on my office line for weeks. I dont know what more I can do. Yesterday, I blew a gasket and completely screamed at him till they hung up. [censored] called me back in me back in 15 min again. This morning, called again at 10:15 and again at 10:29. I'm a gov contractor so many military installations come up unavailable, so I answer them. How can we make this STOP? I'm so annoyed.
I have been getting them as well, for over a month now. Even when you yell at them and hang up, they call back over and over! This is harassment! I have been called by a couple different numbers now, the last one [protected]. No one answers and voicemail is full.
I am also on the do not call registry . I am going to call my phone co, I'm so pissed I feel like calling the police. It's from so many different numbers it's annoying, and every time the man has a thick Indian accent. Their trying to see if we've had anyone in the family died of bladder cancer etc, trying to get on some kind of law suit/ medical compensation.
I'm so annoyed!
I too have been receiving these calls, I have had 7 calls that I know of in less than a week. *4 today*! They have a thick Indian accent, males and females, telling me I've had bladder surgery and they want to give me medical compensation. Idiots - telling me I've had surgery that I haven't had. They've been told to remove my number from their list. They call from several different numbers. What can be done to stop this foolishness?
I have been receiving calls from several different numbers and the callers all have a heavy foreign accent. This morning's call was from Medical Compensation again and started off wanting to know if I took lipitor. I have told them several times I am on the Do Not Call list and to remove me from their calling list. I was told "to listen to me" and I told the gentleman "No - you listen to me - STOP CALLING ME!" It doesn't help.
todays call came from this number: [protected]
another 2 calls today from [protected]:51pm), [protected]:56am, yesterday [protected] 3:59, [protected]:52 am, wednesday [protected] 8:20 am - all from Medical Compensation Group. I am so sick of these calls and they don't care that you tell them you will not answer any questions, and to take your name off the list. HELP!
I have been getting these from men with THICK Indian accents as well. They know me by name and are verifying which drugs I have taken saying I am entitled to compensation. They are dialing from all sort of numbers, today they called from [protected], earlier it was from [protected]. When you call back the number is unlisted. The scary thing is they know the medication I'm taking. seems like medical records were compromised somewhere. I'm from Long Island NY, Where is anyone else from who's receiving them?
I have been getting these calls for over a year now. Heavy Indian accent, talking about my past medical history, etc. Same story as everyone else. They call from all different numbers. Every time they call I "auto-reject" the number so that it never comes through again but they call from other numbers. I have auto-rejected over 50 numbers for these people but the calls still keep coming. I wonder why nothing is being done about this, it must be illegal in so many ways because they are totally lying and I have asked them to stop MANY times. Not to mention I am on the "do not call list" which I am convinced is also a hoax considering how ineffective it is.
I received a very similar call where the caller attempted to coach me in what to say
I too played along to waste their time because the longer I did that kept him off the phone with someone else. When it came time for me to speak to the last person I told him the truth. He seemed surprised but "oh well".
What has me scratching my head is how this scam is beneficial to them? What are they getting out of it and how?
THICK Indian accents. Can't tell what he's saying other than State Medical Department or Medical Compensation. Asks me if I take a certain medication, but can't tell what he's saying when he say the type of med. Always a different number that you can't call back. LISTEN, he says when I can't understand, then tries to spell it out for me, which is worse. He asks for me by my social name, my nickname, not my given name that would be on Med records. Today's area code was from Fla
I just received my first call from this "company". A man with a heavy Indian accent wanted to know if I had had surgery a long time ago...(really?). I responded by asking who was calling? He said it was the Medical Compensation Department. I asked for what company and he repeated himself. As he was trying to talk, I looked up the name online...saw the complaints...and told him, "I know this is a scam" and hung up. The number he called from was [protected] and came up as "Boca Raton, FL".
They call me all the time asking for a guy named Sherman. Today I finally played into their games. "Yes this is Sherman!" "Yes, I used Xarelto and have experienced bleeding from my rectum. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks and I don't have an Attorney!"
They transferred me to Supervisors and now they are transferring me to their "Legal Team to discuss the best way for me to get paid my settlement."
Hahaha what a joke they are!
[protected], Two times, first call I told them not to call again, 2nd call was to find out why I wasn't interested. Something to do with medical compensation, which I know I don't have anything coming to me. I refused to give any information. I finally hung up on them both times.
Same issue here, but this time they said they knew I never had the surgery, and if I wanted compensation I had to tell a lie, hung up blocked the number
Just got one of these calls, man that sounded indian as well asking for me, they said they were from State medical compensation, I just hung up. Didn't bother with them. They will probably call again.
[protected]
They call me too from [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] . And this is within the past 60 days some times they call 3 times a week
