cold soup
Today I went to lunch with a friend at Panera on University Parkway, Bradenton Fl. This was during lunch and we both had to get back to work. We ordered broccoli soup and half a sandwich. We both notice that the soup was served in a bowl and then they went on to make the sandwich. By the time we sat down to eat our lunch the soup was very cold. Due to not having time to again get on a line and asking the soup be warm because of having to return to work, we both threw out the soup. I wrote down what happened in the back of my receipt and asked who the manager was. A young man stated he was one of the managers and said that he would check the temperature where the soup was warmed.
This did not help in anyway. What he should have done was to let the kids making the sandwiches know, not to serve the soup until the sandwiches were made.

I frequent the panera bread in Chico, CA regularly, religiously since they first opened not that long ago. Normally it's a nice little nook, with friendly staff, and great coffee. Last Tues.mi went in to store #1693 to get the bakers dozen of bagels and they only had 2 french toast, 1 osiago cheese, 6 plain and a couple of others and i asked where were the blueberry, cinnamon crunch, cinnamon raisin, and cranberry nut and was told "they didn't bake any today so the person ahead of me walked out as I did and the person behind me? Today I went in at 9:30 and all they had was about 7 cinnamon crunch, 1 plain, and 1 something oats..What do they sell the rest of the day? This is the last time I will go into that store and i am sure a lot of other will do the same as i mention this to my friends..

I was treated very rudely and service was poor. I asked if the Thai broth soup was spicy and before I even got the sentence out the girl said yes. Clearly didn't have time for questions When she saw I had more she handed me over to another cashier I asked her the same question and she was able to tell me it wasn't. My beef is poor customer service not caring or taking time to listen to the customer I felt as if I was not allowed to ask questions just order and get out-of-the-way

I go to panera all the time and today the day after a snow storm the manager was complaining about these young girls that were not able to make it in. This manager needs to realize that those girls are going off of what there parents are telling them I would guess and most of the girls in this store are new drivers this year and should not risk it not only that not all of them live right there by the store and he should not be telling people about it n grow up some.
turkey bacon blt with avocado, soup
My sandwich was a gross slimy mess when I went to bite into it. Avocado with mayo is disgusting! This was suppose to a healthy sandwich. Instead of having vegetable soup that they were out of. I was asked if I would mind substituting my vegetable soup for chicken noodle which hardly had anything in it and was luke warm. I love panara food! But I have to say this was one of the worse combinations or foods that I have had this time. Very disappointed.
high sodium content.
I love Panera Bread's broth bowls . They are wonderful but I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure so I am cautious about eating out. I looked up the nutritional content of the Lentil broth bowl (my favorite!) and i was shocked by the sodium content. It was more than my daily allowance. I truly believe it would be just as delicious with out all the sodium. I actually found a copycat recipe I now make at home in order to control the sodium. I always felt Panera Bread offered healthy options and I still do as long as you do not have blood pressure issue.

I have been pleased with the service and menu of Panera Bread and a longtime customer. I am a vegetarian and when I order a delicious salad from the menu minus the meat, I still get charged the same price. I would appreciate if they can have a price for salads with meat and another price for salad without meat. Thanks for your consideration.
very poor food quality and service
On 12.11.15 @ 5:30pm with only four customers in the restaurant, I ordered a flatbread sandwich and tomato soup. There was a lot of confusion on the part of the cashier taking the simple order. As I moved to the area to await my food, the cooks were too visibly confused. No one asked about my side items, they just showed up as part of my order. I left the store and when I arrived home to eat my meal, the first bite of the flatbread indicated a problem. The cook grilled the lettuce into the sandwich which was wilted and tasteless, but most disturbing was the rancid taste of the meat. I immediately felt ill and discarded everything of my $14.00 meal. The tomato soup was bitter which I also discarded. The caliber of service at this Dunwoody Ga store has declined radically after years of going there. This is not the first time that my entire family has seen Inferior product and service at this location. This used to be a community gathering place but likely if it stays the same, that will not continue.
general manager
I am one of everyday customer of Panera, I've been spending money in this store more than 5 years every single day and always trying to be nice to all the people working in there. Some friends of mine complained about the general manager of this store, I mean the way he talks to foreign customers, but of course I'm not the person who judge someone based on my friends judgment, make the long story short today at noon which is busy time of that store I was sitting on a large table alone and talking to a person who was sitting just beside me at the another table and all of a sudden this "general manager" (Bob Licari) came to me and started talking with a very high and rude tone that made everyone around us stop eating and looking at us wondering what's going on and told me to move to the other table and sit there with that person who I was talking to, to give the table to another customer. He didn't even asked me to do it. His tone was like he was making order, that's why everybody started looking at us. I am a manager at Pharmaceutical field and I understand the rush time but everybody needs respect, he could ask me nicely and don't make me bad feeling for rest of the day. He actually made me stop going to that store anymore like my friends who I had to trust them.
food quality and service
I sent my daughter in to Punier in gulf gate, Sarasota fl. to get our usual macaroni bread bowl and turkey bacon advacado sandwhich after ordering and waiting about 15 min. was told there was no sour dough bread for my samdwich and no bread bowls for her macaroni. this was the whole reason we came, if i had been there i would have asked for a refund and left but not knowing what to do they gave her a bagette and a small macaroni and charged her the total price foe mac and bread bowl the prices there are high but when you crave you crave we have had similar issues in the past but at this point i was halfway home and too angry to return. total was 18 and change we were very unsatified

My daughter and I along with my grandaughter (13 months old) were in the lancaster ohio panera at about 11:40 a. M this morning.. I ordered a cup of coffee.. Our cashier handed me a paper cup.. Normally they ask idf I want paper cup or glass coffee mug.. I always choose glass as the coffee burns my fingers thru the paper cup.. I ask for a glass coffee cup and was told they were all dirty!.. Really.. Dirty cups during busy lunch crowd?.. I could understand it maybe if the didhwasher was broke... Was the manager on duty trying to make points with corporate biggies by not having to pay a dishwasher?... Any way,, my daughter ordered broccoli cheese soup.."oh,, we don't have any"... I asked for a Tuna on lettuce, tomato, onion, no bread. I got a sandwich with the largest pieces of bread ever. I have come through this drive through for the last few years and never got the sandwich and I order it like I always do. When I finally got a chance to eat lunch, I realized the mix up and I was not anywhere near the store premises. My check number was 1343464 at 11:55, A.M. If you have any suggestions on how I can prevent this from happening again, I would appreciate your comments. They always serve the tuna in a box, but I didn't look in the bag while I was there.

I visit Panera Bread with my family in the Keene, NH location weekly and have done so for a few years now. There are many issues: - Slowness - On average when you get in the line and you are the 3rd person waiting in line, you wait about 15 minutes to be served. - Never Hazelnut coffee or regular coffee available. Always empty - Never condiments available, always waiting for cream to be refilled - Management is extremely under-motivated - Cleanliness of facility - The walls are full of dust and dirty I have talked to the management about all of this and they do not seem to care about the complaints. You need to visit this location on a Saturday morning and see for yourself. I hope someone cares as I like the franchise and hate to move on but many of us are getting frustrated with the lack of service. No one seems to care at all the money that is being lost.
