My wife and I recently purchased a new bed (mattress and frame) from your store in Artesia, California. Our experience with David Smith was amazing. He was professional, personable, and was very knowledgeable about the company’s products and processes. After my wife and I realized we wanted to purchase a headboard, we returned to the same store hoping to simply add a headboard to our current delivery. David was not working the evening of 11/2. Jordan Ngo was the sleep consultant and unfortunately the experience was the complete opposite of what we experienced with David. We asked about a headboard that was labeled on sale. Jordan explained that the item was a return to the warehouse and therefore it may not have been ready for purchase. He said that items that are returned to the warehouse are posted online, then cleaned and made ready to sale. So he said that we should call David on Saturday to ask him if the headboard was clean and available to purchase. My wife tried to explain her concerns that the headboard may be sold by Saturday considering it is Thursday. Jordan then mentioned that he would email the warehouse to ask the status of the headboard. My wife asked if he if could simply call the warehouse right then. Jordan refused and kept insisting that we just wait to talk to David. We explained that we wanted to ensure that the headboard was delivered with the bed and frame on 11/5 so there was no time to wait for David to return to work. Jordan repeatedly cut my wife off in the middle of her sentences and was not listening to our concerns. He kept repeating how he really wanted to sell us the headboard but he couldn’t because he wasn’t sure if it was ready to be sold. My wife continued her attempts to explain to Jordan that David had already mentioned how the purchase of returned items worked, he then said that he does not know how the warehouse worked. In addition to cutting my wife off and admitting to explain the warehouse processes without knowing how the warehouse works, he constantly coughed without covering his mouth. While taking our payment for a headboard that Jordan said may not be clean, have all screws, or even availability, he went outside and left us standing there. This experience was not pleasant and I can’t imagine that this type of customer service is consistent with a reputable company like Sit N Sleep. We wanted to also purchase a dresser, nightstands, and a tall chest however the horrible customer service was a huge turn off. And honestly after spending over $7,000 at your store that type of treatment is not acceptable. Once we got home and looked at the receipt for the headboard we realized that Jordan Ngo is not on the receipt as our sales person. The name on the receipt is Reza Iradi, yet the salesperson’s name tag said, Jordan Ngo Sleep Consultant.
