South West Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric Audie L*** and his partner Edison came to my house today to replace the housing in the shower fixture

Audie L and his partner Edison came to my house today to replace the housing in the shower fixture. They did an excellent job chasing down the problem, making sure a replacement part was available, and installing the new component. Shower works great! We also use Audie and Edison in our commercial facility in Everett. Audie and Edison are on time, courteous, and always professional.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. As an informed consumer I tried to get a rate from them before they came out and they would not. They have a scam where they say they will apply the initial investigation fee of $500 towards the larger bill. I knew exactly the issue but agreed... that is how they lock you into a larger bill that is out of any sort of market rate. They charged me twice as much as their cost on a pump as $5,700 for a job that should have been $2500 at the most. They knew that I had to get my sewer fixed and gave me the screws. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They have had to come out 2 times since they did the initial work to fix their work again... not professional, not reasonable you are paying for all their advertising and shoddy workmanship. Find a better source. I am turning them into the Attorney General for their bate and switch tactics

We received excellent service from Audi L for the replacement of our leaking water heater. He responded quickly and was professional. Also took the time to answer questions and offer maintenance tips.

I would give South West Plumbing a 0 stars if we could. The dispatcher guaranteed that a plumber would come out to our house to fix a leak today. She said she could not guarantee a time but they would be there. We also received a text today saying they would be here. We waited from 7 am - 3:35 PM when they finally called back to say they could not make it. There plumbers were too busy to help us. We cancelled our plans and waited around all day to be cancelled on at the last minute. Poor

I made a call about a month ago for an estimate on a sewer line. I left my number online. I got a call from a lady and she said she would forward my number to a representative. I never received a call. what is funny I hear their commercial and have to laugh when they say the one to call. When you get good service a person will tell at least 5 people. When you get bad service a person will tell more than 10 people.

Abel P. and Ricardo came to our house to address a badly backed up pipe, they were efficient, professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job, fixed the issue and were very pleasant to have here. I will absolutely stay with Southwest plumbing again. They also fixed a wax ring Thanks to Abel P. and Ricardo.

We needed a plumber immediately because of a leak under our kitchen sink. Fortunately there are a number of good companies in West Seattle to choose from. We are glad we chose South West. From the cordial and patient receptionist to the dispatcher who called to confirm our appointment in less than 10 minutes, to the actual plumbers who arrived as scheduled, it was a smooth as silk. Jay B. and Ricardo observed COVIC 19, and common courtesy upon entering our house. We explained our problem and showed them where to go. They evaluated the job and apprised me of the work needed and the associated cost. While I do think the prices were a little on the high side, I needed to have the repairs and also felt that they were capable of performing it to our satisfaction. They stuck to their business and made the previous work look archaic. Their work was excellent and their work area was left the same way. I appreciate when a professional does what they do best. These professionals went about their business and we were satisfied that we got what we paid for! We would be happy to have Jay B. and Ricardo back for future repairs, if necessary. They REALLY know their work.

Eric A. cane to our home the previous day and in a matter of minutes knew our old Water Heater needed to be replaced. He was extremely conscientious and thorough in replacing our Water Heater. I highly recommend South West Plumbing. ***.

5 star service from appointment scheduling all the way through assessing the problem, providing alternatives, quotes, and service. I had been dealing with very poor pressure from the old pipes in my house at both the kitchen sink and a shower. Ryan stopped by, assessed the problem, provided a quote, and was equipped to manage both problems. He completed the work to solve all of the issues in less than a full day. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the value as compared to other quotes I received. I will certainly consider South West Plumbing for future work. -*. ***, Beacon Hill

Jose g*** showed up at our house on time. He was very friendly, and explained our sewer was backed up. He, and Antonio.R,Francisco, andV***, did a super job of digging down and replacing a broken sewer pipe. Job was performed perfect. from start to cleanup. Would have them back anytime. ***.

The scheduling servvice and dispatch, warm, friendly phone opperators. Nate and his apprentice arrived on time and looked very professional, something I haven't seen previously calling plumbers. Their acessment was quick and accurate, showing me exactly what they were going to do and quoting a VERY reasonable price. The work was done quickly and cleanly, while maintaining a pleasant conversation. Nate performed a thorough inspection and test of the work accomplished and both cleaned and accounted for all their tools. OUTSTANDING job, deffinatly will use this company for all my future plumbing needs.

Leo P is a plumbing genius. His apprentice Michael is getting fantastic training and he's well on his way to also becoming a plumbing genius. My house is over 100 years old and surprisingly the galvanized pipes are still hanging in there but draining very slowly. Leo was very concerned about the age of the pipes and was very methodical in coming up with a plan explaining all the "what if" scenarios up front to insure I was comfortable with what he was going to try and do. He explained to Michael what he needed him to do and between the two of them they went very slow and stayed in constant communication. Needless to say, my pipes haven't drained this well in years. Thank you Leo and Michael - stay safe.

Super expensive. I had a water shut-off valve and tank flushing valve replaced and the charge was $785. The shut-off valve was $196, the tank flushing valve was $523, and tax was $66. The invoice, which lacked great detail, also indicated I received $232 in savings. So the toilet repair would have been over $1,000 without savings? I sent email questioning the repair cost and was called by service manager, who said a mistake was made in billing. I received a $151 credit back to my card, which included tax. So final bill with tax was $634, $196 for water shut-off valve and $438 for tank flushing valve. This is still a rip-off in my opinion. The service was fine, but the cost was exorbitant. I will never use this company again and will advise my friends and associates to stay clear.

Audie L, together with his assistant Edison, came to my house on May 11 to fix a stopped-up kitchen drain. They were both very clean and congenial, and I felt comfortable having them in my house. They worked VERY hard, not taking any break from 12:15-6:45, which was the length of them they were here. Audie was very good at explaining what needed to be done. They had to go into the crawl space under my house to replace an old connecting pipe. (My house was built in 1927, and the old pipe might have been that old!) I was very grateful to South West Plumbing for being able to send Audie and Edison the same day that I called, since a functional kitchen sink is essential to the operation of a household. I have no hesitation about using South West Plumbing and Audie & Edison again.

Great customer service from start to finish. I called a little after 7AM as my one-and-only bathroom was out of commission. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and said she would put the order in right away. An hour later I get a call from Amber at the shop telling me she was dispatching Troy H. to my house, who should be there within the hour. Troy and Nathen show up a little after 9AM, listen to the details I could provide, assess the problem, offer solutions and then got the work done. They didn't just offer a band-aid, they offered a more long term solution, which I appreciated. Both Troy and Nathen were pleasant, respectful of me and my home and got the job done. They cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned the wall behind the toilet tank when they replaced the toilet!

South West Plumbing replaced/repaired our sewer line in two installments. The first repair was an emergency, when we flushed our toilet it came up in our bathtub. We did not have time to get "quotes". When we called South West was able to send a crew. At that time they fixed half our line. We could not afford to have it all replaced. They did a fabulous job with the plumbing and just as important with the clean up. They even re-seeded our grass. When we had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago, we called South West to finish the job. Once again they were great. John, the head plumber, remembered our last job. He even noticed that we had moved one of our trees out of a pot and into the ground. They came when they said the would come, they finished the job on time and on budget and the once again even re-seeded our grass. I highly recommend South West and I will use them again.

Very Unprofessional/ horrible customer service when attempting to resolve the issue. I spoke with a sewer specialist who provided great information and a solution to my drain issue. I scheduled based on his professional assessment. The tech *** arrived without all the proper information but still attempted to resolve my issue. When not resolved, he rescheduled the service for the next morning. We waited for the techs to arrive and they did not show as planned and after 5 calls to the office, they arrived and simply refused to do the work that they rescheduled then denied that they even said they would complete the work. *** (excavation specialist) was very rude and unprofessional. They wasted our time since we drove 2 hours to the property waited over 4 hours for them to show and left a family with 3 small children with a flooded sewer mess refusing to assist!

The short of it: The two people that showed up for a repair of my kitchen faucet said I didn't have proper water pressure and that my new faucet had rubber in it. The two forms I had to signed, on a small tablet that I could not read; prior to them working, contained a statement: I am satisfied with the work! The two badgered me to purchase a new faucet; making comments: your wife won't even notice; how long have you been married; she'll get over it (the price); what are you going to do without a faucet. The very maddening thing about all of this is: They had ONLY one faucet with them; although I wasn't in the truck so they possible had more; just lied to me; but supposedly I had no choices. They also said they didn't have the tool to remove the rubber bits form the new faucet I had purchased. We tried to go through our credit card company (Citi) but they would not reverse the charge because SW Plumbing would not agree to refund our money - $716.00. When my wife returned home, and I told her what happened, she immediately called the company. She was belittled and badgered and told: "You are just having buyers remorse".. The manager had no compassion for the way I was treated. I am hard of hearing, 76 years old and I believe I was taken advantage of. We filed a complaint with the AG; from that the AG received a notice from the SW Plumbing attorney saying all personnel are trained in knowing signs of inability to focus, not hearing well. BUT, when my wife was talking with the manager, he said, "our men are plumbers, not psychologists"! The only offer SW Plumbing made was rediculous: You buy a new faucet and we will come out and install it for free! More money that we don't have!

On 9/21 I contacted the company due to plumbing issues. I explained that both toilets were backed up, plunging wasn't working and water was coming out under the master bathroom toilet. They also removed the toilet in master bath, replaced wax ring hoping this would make the toilet not as off set (didn't work). Two men responded (one was in training). They snaked toilets from the toilets, then from the roof with no success. Before they started the work they said it would be about $1200, I signed, although felt this was way to high but was at their mercy as a single adoptive mom of two kids having moved into this home three days before and didn't have a good understanding of costs. After 1.5 hr they were not successful with snake and discussed a need to go into the crawl space. .At this point they told me I'd need to pay more, this made no sense to me at all because nothing had been accomplished. They made me sign for $700 more. They removed a pipe, pulled out a clog of what was described as toliet paper and paper towels, put pipe back on and left. They were in the home for almost three hours. $2200 total for this job that was only three hours. The next day my shower would not drain. They had to return the next day stating they hadn't checked it. Approx three weeks later everything backed up including tubs and shower, around master bathroom toilet. I called South West and explained the issue remains and that I paid way too much money a few weeks before and the problem wasn't fixed. Same plumber responded but I was told I'd have to pay again and declined. I explained the wax ring didn't hold up and questioned the installation. It was recommended that a cleanout be added in my bathroom, at a fee, but the next plumber said this was not necessary since I had an accessible cleanout in my spacious crawl out space. I contacted the manager and asked them to make this right and refund me 50% as I was significantly overcharged. They refused. They refused to actually fix the issue and at this point I would refuse to work with them because clearly they overcharged me for a minimal job. I'd like them to honor my request and refund me 50% of what I paid

South West Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric I used South West Plumbing to replace my hot water heater on an emergency basis -- we had no hot water in the house

I used South West Plumbing to replace my hot water heater on an emergency basis -- we had no hot water in the house. I had not ever used South West Plumbing before. The plumber came to the house and did a very good job. I paid in full and tipped the plumber and his assistant $40 each. However, when I received the invoice via email, the bill was not itemized. I could not see what the $5700 charge covered ($5200 plus tax). There was no breakdown by cost of water heater, cost of labor, other costs, etc. I called South West Plumbing and the service manager Ryan told me that they have a PROPRIETARY PRICING SYSTEM and that they do not disclose the cost breakdown. I have since done additional research and have found complaints online pointing to the same issue. They do not tell you up front that the cost will not be itemized and it certainly didn't occur to me to ask as I've never before heard of this. Ryan gave me some inane comparison that when you buy an iPhone, you don't know how much each component part of the phone costs individually. That is true, but you know the cost of the iPhone -- which is what you are purchasing -- and consumer electronics are not priced by component parts. Services, however, definitely are. Parts and labor are indicated as separate elements on the bill. This proprietary system allows South West Plumbing to be totally opaque regarding the costs that get totaled for the final bill. I have never heard of such a thing and I believe that consumers need to fully understand up front that they will, at no point, see an itemized bill for the work. I also believe this system allows South West Plumbing to overcharge for its services with no fear of accountability. Ryan will likely mention that the plumber did two small additional jobs while he was here (tightening a part on one sink and replacing a part on another) and that they did it at no cost. That is true, but I did ask how much it would be (assuming that I would pay) and the plumber said he would just go ahead and take care of it while he was waiting for the new hot water heater to arrive. This fact does not in any way justify sending a non-itemized bill for the work that was contracted and performed.
