Broadband Disconnection
On my return from abroad on 02 July 2024, I found that the Airtel broadband was not working and I called Customer Care to complain. Inspite of repeated reminders, the complaint was not rectified and on 05 July, I called Customer Care to disconnect my broadband. When no action was taken till 10 July, I sent an email to Customer Care and I got a confirmation via email and sms that it is being disconnected wef 10 July. I got a shock in August when I saw that I had been billed for the full month service and not pro rata. When I sent an email asking for clarification and reason for not disconnecting, they replied that the connection is being disconnected only from 12 August 2024. Inspite of repeated emails to Customer Care and even the appellate authority, I get a standard computer generated reply that my disconnection request is being processed from.12 August. This is inspite their own earlier correspondence confirming disconnection wef 10 July. To add to the injury of not acting inspite repeated reminders, they have added the insult of billing me for services not provided. This is inspite my being a customer for more than 15 years. I am.shocked by the utter lack of response and inefficiency of Customer Care and the appellate authority which appears to be a sham. Do not ever take an Airtel Broadband Connection.
Extremely poor service
I am facing frequent network disconnection issue since 10-15 days. I had raised complaint so many times over the phone call.Technician - Sudip Kumar had been assigned to us to resolve the issue, but without physical visit, he closed the complaint. Since yesterday I am trying to reopen the complaint but each time customer care giving me false information and closed the call. I had to do follow up calls in each and every step of the complaint. People were not working without follow up calls from me. Before 1-2 months ago when I was shifting my plan from monthly to yearly that time also I received different process and answers from different call center team members. That time it took me 1 month to transfer my bill plan from monthly to yearly.
I complaint you against all team members who included in this process.
Hope it will be resolved soon and serious action should be taken on this matter.
I do not have any hopes from Airtel now. It has been proved that, Airtel team is not working at all.

Since morning, I have not received any call from Airtel and not from assigned engineer. Still he is not visited.
Now I am tried by calling so many customer care executives to follow up my complaint and escalate the issue.
Escalation team is also not responding to my calls.
Finally I called customer care and then I received one more message - Hi, your service request no. [protected] has been assigned to engineer Akshay Digambar Kale ([protected]). He will contact you between (04 Sep 2023 07:00 PM - 08:00 PM).

My data is not working properly since 30th Nov'23. I am with Airtel for a long time and have taken an Airtel International Roaming pack for Rs 899/- for my present visit.
While the voice and Data are working, SMS is not working in the IR pack.
My bank in Chennai is trying to send me a verification message on some important matter thro SMS but it is continuously failing.
I have been contacting your helpdesk thro AT thanks app and thro Whatsapp [protected] but no one is able to provide any assistance in the matter. They abruptly stop the communication beyond a point.

Hi,
One of the executive Mr.Sanjeev Kumar had approached me for the broadband connection at my office. I had provided him all the detail desired by him and paid the 6 month advance rental charges Rs.3003.
Later on I had received the confirmation from airtel that installation team will fixup the connection - ID No. 21-[protected] on 3rd Sept 23. On visiting they informed me that there is no possibility of the connection here. They will contact with the team and will let me know the possibility.
Till today neither connection is done nor my pay is retransferred. This is an absolute irresponsible work of airtel team. To me big surprises if this is the scene then why Sanjeev had confirmed me and asked me to pay the amounts.
I request airtel to refund my amount back and ask Mr.Sanjeev to send an apology letter to me. Else I will go to consumer court.
