Gold jewellery I sent but wanted stones back.
I srnt some gold jewellry some eith precious stones, and got an offer, but they said they weren't interested in the stones as they hold no value so I accepted the offer, but asked for all the stones including some bigger diamonds and a large yellow stone. They agreed to return all the stones, but the one ring with the bigger diamonds and the big yellow stone is missing from the returned stones. I have asked a jeweller to make me a ring with the bigger diamonds, but I haven't yet recieved them. I have emailed about 5 times with no reply.
Desired outcome: I want the rest of the stones back ASAP
Sale of gold to this company
In December of last year after having COVID I took around 6-8 high value gold coins into C4G in Richmond as I needed the funds to restart my eBay business after everything went by the wayside while I was ill. I had dealt with C4G several times in the past though mainly purchasing silver bullion off them, I had only sold gold once before to them. I thought I...

On or about mid-march of 2017, I entrusted my gold, silver n diamond ring to cash4gold for a reasonable amt cash offer. As I had used this service once before, years ago, had been satisfied with the results (Cash). After no response by april 14, I inquired of the company as to why. The agent I spoke with tells me after her "researching" tells me that my check had been "cut" n was ready to mail out to me. I inquired as to the amt of the check which she stated $11.00. I responded, "no, no, no"! Just send my pkg back. She said she would pull the pkg but I would still need to wait 7-10 days to c if the check arrives to me so I could send it back n they then would mail out my pkg to me. I waited until may 24, called company back, spoke to theresa n she tells me my pkg had been pulled n was on its way to give it 7-10 days. No pkg had arrived by june 9, when I called cash4gold back, spoke to theresa once again,. Says she will talk to "supervisor" n will try getting a tracking number. Over the weekend n after much thought n reading reviews, it seems to me that I am being scammed! And it makes me sick to my stomach as I had trusted this company. Knowing I have on numerous occasions borrowed cash on my diamond ring of $100. N they have the gaul to offer me $11.! Well, I will stop at nothing to seek revenge n not limited to contact tv sponsors n whomever! Even calling today n talking with lisaâ, which she seemed annoyed that I had called a few days prior, letting her know of my gut feelings. Guess i'm just [censor] out of luck. Beware!

I sent my items in to Cash4Gold, selected to get fast cash, and they sent me $44 when I was expecting over $500! The gold is valued at $700! After several phone calls and lots of unprofessional service, I have quit trying as I don't think there is anything else to do. It is a TOTAL SCAM. I've submitted complaints here, and at http://www.cashforgoldscams.com so make sure you do your research first!
As their ad states they buy broken and old gold and silver, they have a refinery and will give you the best price for your gold. This is a lie I sent in broken jewelry and a 14K gold ring and got a check for $10.64 for a 12K gold ring and $1.00 for assorted items. This should be stopped by the Florida government and they should be made to make restitution to all they have stolen from.
They're making a fortune by being highly deceptive about what they pay for your hard earned gold and silver products until it's too late. See more nastiness at: http://reviews.wikia.com/Cash4gold.com

scam alert: beware the golden fleece
The TV commercials promise quick money for your unwanted jewelry—a tempting offer, what with the rising price of gold in recent years. But mounting allegations of pitiful payments, ignored return guarantees and other deceptive and unfair practices mean that your attempts to sell those old necklaces and rings could subject you to a golden fleece.
Many mail-in gold companies are legitimate, with some earning “A” ratings from the Better Business Bureau. However, officials charge that it’s not always the case with industry leader Cash4Gold, which has generated more than 300 complaints to the BBB in the past three years and has resolved most of them.
Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum recently launched an investigation into Cash4Gold after receiving at least 72 complaints from customers about the Pompano Beach-based company. A few weeks earlier, Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., called for the Federal Trade Commission to look into practices by Cash4Gold and other companies, and said he intended to introduce legislation to regulate mail-in gold buyers that use the U.S. mail. And in October 2009, a class action lawsuit was filed against Cash4Gold and its parent company, Green Bullion Financial Services.
McCollum, Weiner and past customers level two main allegations against Cash4Gold:
(1) They say the company pays only a fraction of the true value of customers’ gold, issuing checks as low as seven cents for individual items. An investigation by Consumer Reports found that Cash4Gold and similar companies paid only 11 to 29 percent of the day’s market value for jewelry it submitted. By comparison, pawnshops and other venues paid up to 70 percent of value for the same merchandise.
(2) Some customers say that when they are dissatisfied with Cash4Gold’s payment and try to get their merchandise returned, they are told it already had been melted down—even when they have contacted the company within its 12-day window for returns. Others allege that when they send back the check for their gold’s return, they receive nothing in return—or sometimes, an empty envelope.
In the past two years, the U.S. Postal Service has received numerous complaints about items lost in the mail going to or from Cash4Gold. A spokesman for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service tells Scam Alert that his agency has found that in the overwhelming majority of those cases, incoming mail with jewelry was properly delivered to Cash4Gold, but raises the possibility of “delay tactics on the company’s part” in replying.
Richard Santamaria of the Office of the Inspector General for the USPS in Miami, who has also investigated these cases, says the missing mail represents less than 1 percent of Cash4Gold’s total mail volume.
Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson insists that his company is not a “scam business” and that dissatisfied customers often “have unrealistic expectations of what that material is really worth.”
scam
IT'S A SCAM! I gathered all my old gold jewlery, 13 pieces. Mailed them in a envelope that i was told was insured. Two days later i found all this negative information on the internet about cash 4 gold. Four weeks later i was living the nightmare stories i read on the internet. The package i was told was insured, it was but only for $100, i had over $2000 worth of jewlery in that package. Like many of the stories on the net my package came up missing and the company wanted to instantly send me my $100 insurance claim. They told me they would intiate an investigation with the United Postal Service. Two weeks later i found out they didn't, so I did. I was told by my local postal service to contact thePostal Inspector who informed me that my missing package to this company is one of SEVERAL just from my state alone. The larger valued packages are being stolen. an investigation is on going. So for over $2000.00 worth of jewelry i am going to end up with $100. After all the complaints and negative info i have uncovered about this company, i don't understand how they they have not been investigated and shut down.

I sent in over $1, 000 worth of jewelry and they told me they never received it and submitted it for an insurance claim for $40.02. They say their envelopes are insured. Who is to say that they didn't actually receive it and are paying their customers below the value of what it is really worth.
I 've come under hard times, so I decided to pawn my grills in. They gave me a$10 dolla check! WTF?! Are they crazy? I paid well ova 3 gees for these. Gonna get my money back from these jive turkey motha F----s! Peace out ! Beware of da devil in disguise--> Cash fo Gold.
sent them a gold chain and got $2.91 for it.
For several reasons this information has been removed
Cash 4 gold promises you they send you a great insured envelope to send your valuable products to them in and so you do but then if they supposedly don't make it 10+ days later you have to make a claim with the U.S. MAIL then call them back with the claim # then they will think about doing something about it.I would suggest everyone do there homework before mailing there jewelry to these guys or anyone else seems to me through light investigation they are out to scam people however possible. I mailed out 1 pound of broken and unwanted jewelry and now have nothing and to add i mailed it 13 days ago.this is quiet a great gift for them extremely disappointing to me but you live and learn.I hope I help someone.
These people are pieces of ###. They sent me 10$ for over 2, 000$ worth of jewelry, then when I asked for it back, they told me to send the check, I did so. NEVER got ANYTHING back. AND they ignored EVERY message and call after I sent them their check back! PLUS now? One of the rings I sent them was an engagement ring from an ex who died. GREAT. THANKS. Don't even bother with these ###s.
i just sent them all most two once`s and they gave me 500.00.i sent the same to gold fellow and got 1.200 what a rip off.i called them all they said was all sales are final.
Florida cash 4 is truly on of the greatest all the time http://www.lotteryflorida.com/other-fl-lottery-games.asp
rip-off
I sent off close to 20 grams of gold to Cash4Gold and recieved a check for $40. I was not satisfied so I decided to send the check back and get my gold. I had to ship the check to Europe and they only gave me three days to return the check so I had to pay $20 for overnight shipping to ensure they recieved the check on time. They call me back with a counter offer of $55. I said no thanks, just give me back my gold. Fortunately I did get my gold back and I took it to National Pawn where they paid me $375 for the same gold. I would never reccomend Cash4Gold to anyone. I really feel like they were trying to scam me if I had not stayed on top of things. Go to their website and try to contact them, it is not easy.

rip-off
I saw their commercial and sent my 24ct gold chain. It is now October 1 2010. I had sent my item in their postage packet in in may and as todays date they still cannot find my item.
They told me to fiule an insurance claim with their insurance carrier but that is only if the item is lost in the mail but this company after speaking with the post office in florida picks up these packets-melts them down and forgets about theie customers.
This company is a rip-off and they should choke on my chain. Never ever use them...
c. madigan new york
yes the are shisters!
did not return my jewelry and did not get paid...
Last year I decided to be stupid enough to trust the company and mailed my jewelry to this company. I never got paid and claimed my jewelry back and they said that I needed to return my check in order for them to return my items. How am i going to return something I never got. I am sure they know I didn't get paid but they just like to make easy money. I am not rich but they can keep them and put them up you know were. The US Government stick their noses everywhere they should do the same with this companies.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Sorry to hear that. Read up about these "legitimate" businesses in Consumer Reports (of all places). People by the thousands have complained about these flyby night scammers. One important red flag anyone is being warned about now is: Don't mail any gold!
Hope it gets worked out.
You will never get your money or gold they are all scams
They have not sent my money for my gold I sent to them
I sent my old gold rings, white gold rings, and earrings to cash 4 gold and it has not been 5 weeks since I have sent them. They say once they get my package with in 24 hours I will get my check for them. That is not true. I have not gotten any money from them. They said one time that it was my post office fauth for me to check there. I did and it was not there. They say that they insure my gold if it gets lost but not true. I put in this package my mothers gold band that was her husband and that is gone too. I hope that someone can do something about this.
Thank you for your help,
Mary Nixon
Well, Mr.Timati, we are not stupid. Maybe the one who is stupid is you for making that comment... Now, what did you expect.?
MrTimati is right. I see these commercials and the first thing I think is scam. You have to be absolutely brain dead to send valuable items through the USPS to complete strangers. There are PAWN shops that buy gold and silver and you can get good money, plus, if you don't like the offer you can leave and you still have the valuables.
Are you people that stupid to send your gold to someone you dont even know?
What did you expect?
scam
What a scam this is.. I'm sure with current prices they already made millions... A day after sending in my jewelry, I stumbled on this website and almost fell sick to my stomach.. I started calling them right away and threatened a lawsuit, if they don't send me my jewelry back. Luckily it worked. I got it back just over 2 weeks later. After diligent research, I decided to deal with www.allamericangoldbuyers.com.. they don't ask you to blindly trust them like www.cash4gold.com does. Rather they explain the whole evaluation process on the video and send it to you for approval. Definitely recommend them. I suggest you do your research.

I for one got scamed bycash4gold. Do not send any of your gold to them! The jewlery I sent them was worth more than I was paid. I was heart sick when I got a chek for 149.90. I was in dier need of money for Christmas. Included in the bundle I sent them was a 10oz bar of silver, 10 gold neckleces, 14 bracelets, 8 diamond rings and more. Some of the stuff they gave 4 cents an oz. Some of the stuff was 10K and some14K. I have sat and cried every sence, so don't be taken inSELL else where.
I saw cash4gold on the tv and thought i would give them a try. I ordered my kit.
It arrived and i sent 4 sterling silver rings and one gold wedding set. Weeks went by and nothing, no word from cash 4 gold or no check, i finally emailed them and they said they never received my pre paid envelope and said that the post office takes longer than average time to arrive. Then a month went by, two months went by, still nothing! I emailed them again and they still claimed they received nothing and the tracking number with the post office shows nothing!
Well its been 4 months and I never received any money and lost my 5 rings. I will never be use this company AGAIN and would discourage anyone else from using them. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
Cash4Gold.com is a big Scam! A few months ago, I saw the commercials and without doing my research, sent some of my wife's gold pieces she didnt want anymore because we were short on cash for bills. I expected around 1000$ for that gold, understanding that I would get pay for the Scrap Value, even though the jewerly was not broken.
I got a check for 79.21$! I tried to use their Guarantee and get the gold pieces back, and was unsuccessful! It was impossible to get ahold of them. I drove 3 hours to their address listed on their website and found what seemed to be an empty warehouse! Someone needs to stop them.
Submit your complaints about Cash4Gold to this site and all sites out there, I also sent mine to www.CashforGoldScams.com and www.ScamShield.com and looking for others... the more the better !
We have received an increasing amount of complaints regarding cash4gold, please see latest fraud reports and news, prior to selling your gold. www.CashForGoldScams.com
I guess i was scamed by cash 4 gold too. I mailed them my gold & they said they never received it. This really sucks, because i really needed the money!
i did the same thing and they said that my sliver dollars was not worth anything and my gold fossil waches was not worth anything and then they do u want us to keep them i said hell no send them back to me and my sliver coins better be the right year they were old coins (dollars)
I am having similar problems with cash4gold. I mailedin my gld package and waited, and waited but no check. After calling like 4 times someone informed me that the check was mailed. I waited again another week and nothing. I have liked at te same address for 20 years and tis is the first time tha I cannot receive a check. I am now being told that my check was mailed and somone cash it. I asked them to fax the copy of the check but so fax no fax. I think that I have been conned. The claimed that the check wasfor 168.00. Brooklyn, N>Y
cash4gold is the biggest f_ _king scam I have ever seen. They need to think about what they have done to many people, God will get them when it's there time to go...I feel for each and every one .God bless you all and I was scam as well.I took copies of all the paper work and took pictures of all my rings . Then can me a check for 20.00 and I was like omg If I don't get my rings back as they said if I send them back the check and they will send me my rings back to me, but I know I wont get them back, I call cash4gold they said they was waiting on usp to give them a tracking number before they can send them out ! yeah right ...###
P.S. Somewhere in between they melted my stuff down before the first check was even issued so they could not send that back either.
I too sent stuff to Cas4Gold. THey ended up sending me $10.00 AFTER I complained to them enough. They had originally sent me a check for $1.46 Which I NEVER got, I might add. I am glad I found this site, because I told them if I ever found a way, I would tell the world that they were a fraud.
Stole my gold
I was scammed too! They claim they've never received my gold and its been 30 days. I wrote down their tracking number like instructed but they say its never made it to them...funny how that works you are at their mercy. I wish I would have read this website before sending, as there are alot of us out here whose packages were "never received" yet they make it sound so easy and simple and a no worry process. Unfortunatley if it hadnt been for this financial crisis I am in (like most people) I wouldnt have ever thought twice about selling my jewelery. Do not trust this company!
Unfortunately I have been scamed too...i sent them my package and wrote the tracking number down like they told me to for tracking...after a week they still didnt have my package...at least thats what the online system said..so I called customer service and they said call back after a few days...i did and still no package and they told me well we cant control the postal service...and now a month later still NOTHING...I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Hi, my names Reina. I sent alot of jewelry to cash 4 gold and they ripped me off. I kept calling them with my track number and they kept telling me they havent got it yet. I sent it to them about the first of the month and one representative told me to call back on the 28th to see if they "recieved it yet". Found out that they did recieve it they recieve everyones its just a big burn they know exactly what to tell you on the fone. They told me to call them back in 90 days haahaha can u belive that. Then a week later they sent another bag...wanting me to put more gold in! rip offs! thats y they are soo rich cause they take ppls gold!
If Cash4Gold is such a big scam... why are they allowed to continue to run their commercials on TV? I would NEVER even THINK of sending valuable jewels through the mail without insuring it first, let alone HOPE that I would get money for it. Wake up people! This world is full of con artists! I hope everyone victimized by this company can get their gold or money, good luck.
There are other companies out there that post how much they will pay for your gold and also pay 3x more.

They gave me 550.00 for my old jewelry I got the same quote from cash for gold and it was 95.00...
So good luck and I wouldn't send them my gold again
My jewelery was also some how how not received and then they tried to get me to sign a paper for a $100.00 compinsation, but they promised that they would be continuing the investigation on where my package is.DO NOT SIGN THE FORM!I didn't because it says right on it that it's a settlement and it will close the investigation.Well i plan to do some investigating on my own, it will involve some work, but i recommend others do the same and stop letting these company's get away with this ###!
I agree that Cash4Gold.com is a scam, I cam across a very helpful website called Top10cashforgold.com and that told me everything that i needed to know about every online gold company out there. value of gold sent in
I probably when was in the first boat that sailed when I heard about Cash4Gold. I was a little optimistic about sending in my jewlery, but I did. I sent in mostly 10k things but it was well worth over 400 bucks in weight. One of my necklaces was at least 700 dollars when I purchased it but I thought I would get at least 100-150 bucks at least but I didnt. They said a customer gets 12 days to give them the thumbs up to sell those items before they melt it down, thats the biggest lie ever! I recieved a check in the mail for 34 dollars and some odd change never once did I get the decision to say yes or no! I know I was ripped off badly!
This Company lied! I just found out about the class action lawsuit and I am trying to join in! Melissa Seabrook-Denmark, 684 Eagle Street Mt Pleasant SC [protected]

cash4gold scam
Hello, i was checking out all of the complaints on this site about cash4gold. I send them jewerly back on January 14th, 2010. After waiting for 3 weeks they finally told me that my envelope never arrived to their location. They send me an insurance claim form that will pay me $100. for my package. I know that the gold i send them was worth more. They are nothing but liars that try to take advantage of the american people on this times of need. I just got done filing a complaint with BBB. Everyone else should do the same. Dont let them get away with it.
I sent them two chains a broken ring that had 25 diamonds, 18 caret gold it was my wedding ring, I did not need it anymore, I sent them my jewelry dec 2014, they are a scam their business is shut down dam they played me plus this tracking number don't work.
Yea, we have heard these reviews before, its always better to deal with reputable companies. Optimally independent companies in which you can speak directly to the owner. You lose negotiating power when you send your valuables off to a faceless corporation. Our family owns Sanger Gold and Silver and we pride ourselves not on making profits but on helping people. Things are bleak in the economy and we want to help our neighbors by offering our buying and selling services. We do pay scrap prices, or perhaps we can sell it on consignment. Help us help you... http://www.sangergold.com
I heard these guys were scam artists, but I can't believe what I'm reading on here!

They gave me 550.00 for my old jewelry I got the same quote from cash for gold and it was 95.00...
So good luck and I wouldn't send them my gold again

no money or response
After watching the commercials for Cash4gold and reading the testimonies of so many satisfied customers I sent over 5oz of 14k- 24k gold to them some with diamonds and other stones on December 7, 2009. My husband and I were straped for cash and with Christmas just weeks away we trusted Cash4gold to come through for us! Today is January 1, 2010 and Cash4gold is firm in thier position that they have NOT received my package yet. Had I known of this site before I sent my gold away...Lets just say Cash4gold would have not been on the receiving end of my belongings! They are SCAMMERS!

I don't understand why you people just don't go to a jewelry store or pawn shop to sell your stuff. To me ...this makes about as much sense as sending cash through the mail...don't do it...
cash for gold stole my gold
dont send anything to cash 4 gold!they will steal from you.their comercials are misleading and they are nothing but theives preying on people who need money.I asked cash 4 gold to send me a pak to mail my gold to them it took ten days!finally i sent the materials to them and boy do i wish i hadnt.that was over two months ago and i am still trying to get my stuff back.
you get the run around and then they say the gold is not real gold.and they always have an excuse why things dont happen.or they are sending it in 10-12 days and when the time passes it never comes.do not be as stupid as i was and trust anything to these scam artists.i lost several peices of gold that belonged to my grandfather to try to help my family out over the holidays.
be smart go to a real jewler, i only hope my loss can be your gain
of coures they wont call you back...its like the worst scam ever...unsuspecting people send in tehir gold wtf to this scam company to get screwed while they make millions or who knows how much...stay away...its fraud and why isnt it shut down yet
LOOOK... POePLe Dont TrUsT iT ITS A ReAl ScAm. IF YOU WANT REAL MONEY FOR UR GOLD THE BEST ITS TO FIND AND REAL.. REAL JEWRLY STORE ONLINE THAT BUY GOOD GOLD AND DRIVE TO THEM AND GET THE MONEY IN YOUR HANDS TRUST ME ... ITS THE BEST WAY DO WHAT I SAY... PLEASE... DO IT
Cash for Gold did the same thing to me.
Every time call them they always tell me someone will call me with in 24 hours about my complaint. That was 4 months ago and many, many phone calls later.
To this day NO BODY has called me back. I even gave them my cell number and kept it with me 24/7 so I would not miss a call. They have never called. All I want is my 10 and 14 kt gold back. I had miss matched ear rings (and some were expensvie ) but I lost one of the matching set. I also had a watch and other items in the bag. I do know a few people that actually recieved a check for their gold, WHY can't I ?
i wish i had cum to this site sooner! i traded in my gold rings, and wen i went back for them 2 days later, the manager said they had already been melted down at the refinery centre.i asked them about the 12 day gaurantee we had to get our gold back n he replied, 'not all of us run that policy!' i am still trying to get my gold back, but am having no luck.its true wot u have said that they r giving ppl the run around
