This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I joined it for the one price of $1.Once I gave my visa card details the advert then said it was a 14 day trial. This made me suspicious about the possibility that they would deduct more money from my visa without my knowledge.I tried to contact these people but was unable to My fears were well founded as I have just read on your sight about a man that has had money taken from his account without his permission.Would be grateful for your help and reply.

I had to cancel my card.

Do not waste time trying to contact the scammers, being hung up on, being on hold for hours to some call center and made to jump through their hoops like mailing stuff to a UPS address (it will just come back as undeliverable).

Here is what you should do:

Contact your bank/credit card company and contact the authorities.
http://www.chrismalta.com/scamtip1.asp

Step 1): Initiate a charge-back against that company by filing a fraud report with your credit card company or bank.

Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that are filed online.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Step 2): File your reports with FBI, FTC, Utah A/G, and Utah Division of Consumer Protection.

FBI: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

FTC: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

I was convinced this was potentially a legitimate opportunity, partially because the name "Google" was "affiliated" with it. However, my mind was changed after reading this site. When I tried to exit the page which asks you to fill out your credit card information, a box popped up asking me to speak with a live agent before leaving the site/deciding against signing up... The live agent provided only generic, non-responsive "replies." It was ridiculous. I asked several questions, yet the only information I received was to not miss out on this great offer - to simply pay the $1.87 (the amount which routinely changes) and start earning money from home right away - up to $943 dollars per day; that the agent was an actual live agent; etcetera. However, when I prompted the live agent to provide me with some information directly responsive to my particular question - any of my particular questions - more generic information was given, namely - do not miss out on this opportunity for a 7 day risk free trial, for only $1.87, and start making up to $943 a day. If for no other reason, I would not participate in this, as this live agent interaction, or lack thereof, screams: "NOT LEGITIMATE."

This is a scam, the numbers given is not valid and the email support@googlerevolution.com does not reply to you. There is no way you can get in contact. There is no way for you to cancel, this is ridiculous and misleading. The name Onlinecashtraining that appears on the bank statement and the telephone number obtained matches with Mr Chuck Turner's infomations as above. Apparently, this telephone number is for Sosaku Systems and is located in UK. Please refer to Mr chuck Turner;s comments above to get full address.

Look people. If you go the the link they give you, it says right on the bottom (the fine print) that they are not affiliated with Google (the good one) and that they are indeed an LLC, but it's called Google Revolution LLC. If the, not-quite-right trademark Google logo didn't send a red flag...then you need to ALWAYS read the fine print.

Yesss! I've got my money back! It took me 5 days. I called every day 5 to 10 times a day, yes I made their lives hell. One thing I can't understand is about the real Google: Why don't they do something about ? C'mon, Microsoft v. Lindows.com, Inc. was a court case brought by Microsoft against Lindows, Inc in December 2001, claiming that the name "Lindows" was a violation of its trademark "Windows." They won! Now these scammers are using the name Google to scam honest people? GOOGLE, INC DO SOMETHING!

"Face Book" : yes, it was an eye opener at fist! Then, listening to the guy talk made me realize he was full of crap. Every time I go back to check it out, his residence/hometown changes. At one point, the site claimed that he was from My hometown! I obtained the original original link from a FaceBook ad. (http://www.cars.brettmakesbank.com/) You'd think that FaceBook would monitor these things more diligently...

I was just scammed. I cancelled my credit card as I had already given them the number and when I tried to continue to the "no thanks" for the trial it wouldn't let me. I also tried calling the number listed one one of these comments - they put me on hold. I hung up. They also had someone come online, but to no avail. My bank said the $1.87 was pending and I'd have to file a dispute, but having just been laid off, I just can't afford to dispute when I have no idea what they're going to try to take out of the account. I can't believe my stupidity in not looking carefully. I'm always careful. I am very angry at MSN Money and Google. I trusted MSN Money to do this. This is a disgrace on their part. So I just had to cancel the whole credit card and have the bank issue a new one. They'll probably get the $1.87 unless I go thru the dispute. Thanks for this site.

I agree with you also. I paid for a kit and received information about government grants. In this day and time people do not have money to just give away, not even $1.97, I sure don't. If you are reading this message please be warned that the ad is a scam. Imagine if 1000 people pay that $1.97, how much money that whoever has this site has made! Be warned!

Hi All,

Don't know if this is the same thing but I signed up to a so called Google Revolution online business opportunity. They charged me £1.80ish or $3 for the privilege and claimed they would send me an information pack. No such pack arrived! I then saw a week later on my Credit Card account that an extra £46.65/over $70 had been taken by ~Rev goog henderson nv~. I contacted my credit card company and they put me through to the company claiming to be Google revolution. After a long and painful conversation with someone who could barely understand me they agreed to refund me the money and cancel my subscription! Erm...What subscription?! I am yet to see if the money will be refunded. As a precaution I am cancelling my credit card.

I hope this helps. I will post again with more info once the money is refunded/not!

And you are saying on this site that this originated with a couple of Brits in the UK ?

Just learned from my bank about the 73.83 charge. I called immediately [protected] and 'requested' (demanded) a refund, which they did. The customer service person could barely speak English and copped an attitude when I insisted on knowing who they are and what they do. I never got an answer. When I threatened with legal action he immediately complied with my request to reverse the charges. When are WE going to learn that these easy-sounding money makers are scams, nothing else.

This is very sad that there are people in this day and time that would scam people out of what little they have left. People that are innocently trying to make a way to survive. I can not believe these people have not been brought to justice. If they names are numbers are posted why have they not been arrested.

The same happened to me, too.
One day I "confirm" to pay $ 0.99 for a piece of information how to make money with Google. Next day £1.82 ($ 2.87) is taken from my account. 4 days later £ 46.46 ($ 73.83) is missing from my account. I'm steaming! The first working day, which is today, I go to my bank and they tell me that I have signed up for some membership (why don't I know about it?). I can't cancell my debit card (for they would be still able to charge me) and I can't tell my bank not to pay money to them untill I call them and cancell the alleged membership.
So this is what I do: I write an e-mail cancelling the membership and demanding my money back. Later in the evening (I live in UK) I call them and after waiting only about 5 minutes I get directed to a customer service assistant. A kind and helpful young lady (with Asian accent?) appologizes for a "system error" and any inconveniences it caused, later mentions something about signing for a membership, which I cut short saying (true) there was no information about any further charges when I agreed to pay $ 0.99 solely.
She promises to cancel the membership and refund the charges - both of them. There will be a letter of confirmation e-mailed to me within 24-48 hours and the money will be returned to my account within 7-14 days (it took only 1 day to get transferred to them, funny). So Iet's wait and see. I will let you know what happens next.
To all: take care and don't get yourselves into anything like that, as I will not any more!
PS. 15 minutes later 3 confirmations were sent: cancellation of a membership + two order refunds.

THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER. THIS IS A SCAM!

This is a huge scam do not give these people any information whatsoever. They take your money, send nothing in many cases and then begin extracting $71.83 or more from your bank account. Once they have the number they can do whatever they want. It takes up to three or four weeks to get the fund returned. You also have to cancel your card because once they have the number they can keep extracting the money even as your bank is working to get your funds returned. It was even more of a nightmare for me because I had no phone number and no contact information.

THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER. THIS IS A SCAM!

Hello all, I just signed up to googlerevolution and after realising it was a scam i sent this email to them.

To whom this may concern.

I foolishly signed up earlier for your free 7 day trial and am asking you with the backing of the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) UK that you cancel my membership immediately. I have informed my credit card company also and they are too investigating this illegitimate membership agreement. I understand that after the free trial you will attempt to bill me for an excessive amount of money which I am not prepared to pay. Unless I receive an e-mail stating that my membership has been cancelled then I will still pursue to go through the SFO and indeed my credit card companies fraud investigations department.

I expect an e-mail within the next 24 hours stating that my membership has indeed been cancelled and that you will not be taking any more money out of my account in the future.

Within 20 mins they had responded with this:
Hi Kevin Neadley,
Your Order id 13***7 has been cancelled.

My question is: Does this mean they will not bill me in the future, in other words am I safe now I have received this confirmation?

hi kevin,
i fell for this stupid scam, they took £2.28 out of my account, on the 4th of june, i then cancelled it on the 9th of june they emailed me back saying your order number which was a five number digits has been cancelled so i thought that was the end of it until i recieved another email 0n 17th june from support@etaxhotline.com saying my 7 day free trial is coming to a end and that my credit card will be soon ready for processing i sent them a email back saying if they dont cancel my free trial i will phone the police and contract watch dog. In about 20 minutes or so they email me back saying they are removing me from their
accounts that they are sorry to see me go and i hope i consider using them in the future f**k i will not. I cancelled my credit card as a precaution just in case they took money out after i have cancelled or passed on my details on to other fraudant sites. So please cancel your cards asap and email etaxhotline to cancel your free 7 day trial you can also phone them on [protected] if you can get though to them let me know how you get on good luck.

know what guys? i am also enrolled with the googlerevolution, i am very aware with their terms and condition and yes! it is stated there that i will be billed monthly after the trial period.
it is better for you guys to read first the terms and condition before you complain, even if you file a case against to them as you claims it as fraud, i guess your complain will be junked.
i tried also to call them to cancel my other account but they'd response immediately and they'd send me an email confirmation.
you can contact them for what ever concern you have of course!

well, i have a screenshot of my billing confirmation that does not mention any additional charges. also, have been all through the website as i am still a "member", and there is absolutely no mention. also, i have been through the registration process again just to make sure (of course i didn't give them any billing info again) and still no mention.

P.S. for the handful of people sticking up for them, it's not difficult to see that you are part of this scam trying to make it sound better. rot in prison you F**KS!
