In 2009 LaVelle Ward reached out to me regarding a real estate transaction. He was polite, excited, and full of enthusiasm. Too much so actually.. it was refreshing at first but it seemed like he was really pouring it on thick. His stories were just too big if you know what I mean.
Doing due diligence it wasn't hard to learn that Lavelle was a con-man and a scam artist. I've found several people that he had screwed over throughout the years. Promises of big things always around the corner but nothing to actually show for it. Heaven forbid you pay him any money. You'll never see anything for it. Or if he promises to pay you for work? Get the money up front. I've seen him screw people both ways.
Lavelle Ward is has been reported to the Chicago Police, the FBI, and several other fraud departments. Save yourself the grief and time and don't do business with this man.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
OMG! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who was ripped off by this ###. Not that I'm glad you were, but still for the longest time I thought I might be losing my mind! Keep spreading the word and I hope that you get past this and that your business wasn't ruined by Lavelle the way mine was.
Wow. I really thought I was the only one who felt this way. Lavelle is a smooth talker and comes across in a way that many might think is legit. He totally is the opposite of this. He burned myself and my partners and never paid a dime. Be wary!
