Nokia battery charge

Dear sir,
This is the 4th time I am submitting complaint in on line. If you are not giving any reply what is the use of this online complaints board.

I bought the above mobile set from sharaf Digital shop in Burdubai on 06 May 08. The problem of the set is, I cannot even make 4 to 5 calls after fully charged the battery. To rectify this problem, I had given this set to nokia service centre 3 times and all the times they returned to me without doing anything on the mobile set. After 3rd time also the problem of the mobile is same as in the begining stage. Now I have given to 4th time in your service centre in dubai, near sana and its job number is 153022. Each time you are keeping this mobile in your custody around 20 days but the result is zero. I understood that you are not able to rectify the poblem of this set and also the above mobil made me a lot of problems in my life due to the performance of battery charge, so I request you to replace my mobile this time otherwise you can keep it in your custody. Alreay I spent lot of money to carry the above sick mobile.

Please be informed that i had submitted a online complaint when I submitted my mobile on 3rd time but no response from your side. This time I hope that I will get some response from your side. I don't want to compare your after sales sevice with other company.

Also please be noted that nobody is responsible in your service centre to rectify the problem, then what is the meaning of one year waranty. Whom I can meet to solve this problem in Dubai.

Hi,

I Abhijit from Pune, India had purchased a Nokia 5610 phone on 9th March 2008, which started giving issues like voice clarity, used to hang most often, bluetooth connectivity, etc. in not more than 4 months from the date of purchase.

I had been complaining in the local Nokia care centre called ( New India Telecom) about the issues of the phone all the time. The care centre advisors only take the phone and keep it for certain period and give it the way it is. It is more than 4-5 times they have taken away my phone to replace and return the same phone stating the issues have been resolved. My latest jobsheet no. provided by the above mentioned L2 servie centre is ([protected]/080808/76).

I am totally upset by the way Nokia is caring for there customer. I have advised the people about replacement of my phone or they should take it away, where I would be more than happy to take this complaint to public by source of media and police.

Totally frustrated with Nokia,

i got a nokia music xpress5610(blue) in mobile store last 2008. it got repaired 4 times in the same year. 5th time when the same thing happened and we gaveit for service and when we got it back they changed the set and gave a red 5610. later the problen started even with the new one . again we gave for service in nokia care they totally changed the set ane gave a broken set with a bill of Rs.3000 .. NOKIA CARE CHENNAI ..

I received an sms stating:Congratulations, your number was among the lucky winners on the NOKIA YEARLY PROMOTION. You won R250000.00. Ticket number 0166P. Call Mark Luis on [protected] for your cash prize from 08am to 6pm.
I contacted the person who answered the number as Mark Luis and asked from where i was calling and what number and for the ticket number.
After supplying this info he said i was to purchase 2 x MTN recharge vouchers for R180 = R360.00. I was to sms the pin numbers with my cell number, ticket number and banking account number, Initials and age and fax number to him to activate the ticket.
They would make payment to my account before close of day.

After searching the Nokia UK site i found no such promotion and believe this to be a fraud scam. I would appreciate comment from both Nokia and MTN in this regard as i am continuing with criminal proceedings against this person, unless otherwise confirmed by either MTN or Nokia.

I recieved a SMS that I have won R95000.00 and I had to send off my bank Number, and area Name. and buy R180 MTN air time and my money will be paid in 3 days into my Account here is the info. I got a voucher Number NKZA0166 AND the contact person was Nicky on [protected]. they did not ask for a ID number. But I feel this was a scam as I was phoned on Wednesday and there is no Money in my account up to date...

I have received 3 SMS messages to date regarding the NOKIA promotion telling me I have won GBP 100 000. the latest SMS says the cheque is ready. I have tried mailing and phoning the contact details sent and it is all bogus. The women i got through to in the UK seamed to find the my query a bit amusing and ended the call. All my emails to Nokia (email addresses i have taken from Nokia web sites) have been unanswered. Obviously Nokia don't care about their customers if they can't be bothered to return customers queries. Makes me want to never use a Nokia phone again.

Nokia returned a faulty item

i sent a hands free kit back to nokia care uk back in june cos it was faulty. they sent me a replacement completely different from the one i sent, and i was told that they do not make the one i have anymore, which is ridiculous as i have seen it on their website. i then spoke to a lady called sandra who seem to be quite helpful, and she said to send the one back and she will get the original one sent out to me. about 4 weeks passed and then i received a parcel what was it again the wrong item was sent. i have been calling nokia care uk for the last 3-4 weeks and they keep telling me they are dealing with it and that they will get back to me. at the moment i have the handsfree kit which isnt suitable and am still waiting. its now been nearly 5 months.

This is all crap. Is someone that fool to contact the person who gives away that sum of money in just a second without any formal announcement on newspaper, Tv broadcast, internet, Radio etc...
If anyone is still in confusion about this thing and if he/she is in confusion then leave all that crap and relax cuz that sum of money is not a joke that a person will give away so easily and so just read the crap message and laugh a while and if u want complain about it to the concerned authority...

Nokia poor after sale service

I bought a costly Nokia mobile type 6300 from the Nokia official local agent Maximum.

Unfortunately they:
1. Sold me a used product.
2. Tricked me by exchanging a Hangarian made item with a nother Chineses one as a way of customer satisfaction.
3. Provide delayed, dishonest and poor service.
4. Followed a very uncourtous and unprofessional way of customer service.

Results:
1. Completely unsatisfied.
2. Lost a large percentage of the product value I bought for a high price.
3. Personally I would never recommend the Nokia Local Dealer (Maximum) for any other customers.
4. I will keep lobbying in many media channels to straighten up this type of fraud matter as I can.

Nokia inaudible sound and no network signal with this particular phone

Sir,
I have purchase a Nokia Slide 3600 from a shop named Mobile world Located in the MG Road of Jeypore Town of Koraput district in Orisssa, India. On 15-08-08.Immediately after 3days I had the problem of inaudible sound absolutely feeble and when approached the shop they took it to Nokia care and there it was repaired. Again after 5 days the set was taken with the same problem and they attended to it stating there was some dust and it was cleaned. Again after 5 days the set was taken with the same problem and this time the speaker was changed. Even now our woes did not stop and we were forced to go the shop with Problem of inaudible sound and non availability of network signal. The same sim when fitted in other mobiles it had full signal indicating that my new mobile 3600 slide had the problem.This time also they shop Personnel did not agree with the problem and they went on insisting that they do not have any responsibility once the product leaves their shop. This time also they kept the mobile for 2 days just doing nothing to satisfy the customer. For all the repairs they never gave the Job sheet and they wanted to fool the customer in every respect. Totally disappointed with the set performance I asked for exchange and prepared for some cut in the amount paid to me. They disagreed and went on insisting that the set was allright.Even when they took their set in their possession they refused to give the receipt for the same. I doubt the sincerity of the shop personnel towards the customer Problems. Their behavior is deplorable. Again yesterday I went to the shop with same two problems but in futile. I am a middle class family person and I purchased the mobile after lot of thinking. I really left with lot of disappointment. I have you as the only hope that can do justice to my hard earned money. The Phone bill no is158 and the amount paid was Rs.9200/-.IMFL [protected] and the battery no is [protected] and charger no is [protected].Please Help me.

Yes, I do agree with the complaint because some of the nokia care centres in Bhubaneswar are doing the same thing and in my opinion sometimes they are replacing the mobile parts which is very disgracing. Such type of people should be strongly dealt with.

Too poor sound. I had bought it by giving Rs.9050, but after some it got's few kind 0f problem, I am a middile class student, f0or educational work, I have to go few kind of bfer places, so the phone is very important for me, In road or crowd, enen whenever I am in my room and spending time in silent place, I heard the voloume so poorly, It gets virus from any other connectivitic phone when I connected it with other phones. Very poor speaker system.
You can't keep the mobile in upright position on your bed or anything coz the speaker is in he backside and ringtone is not audible even if you are in the same room.

Nokia bad service

Well i need help nokia in 4630 wooland corporate blvd tampa, Florida [protected] have the worst cust service i talk to 3 manager and thay gave me the run around i have a nokia n81 8g and it have very bad reciption 6 drop call a day if look on line their is alot of people have the same problem its the way the phone is dezinei call tmobile i am in a hot spot and i can put that same sim card in a samsung phone and it works fine i sent the phone in over 3 times thay said that cant fine nothing wrong with it so thay sent me a new N81 8g and guess what the screen will not come on at all it the bottons light up but no power to the display you would think that thay would have cheak that. now here is the real f up part i pay 3 time to get the phone ship back to them and each time it took like 2 weeks to get the phone back just to send it back to them thay sent me a ship lable 1 time it took 1 week to get to me so i talk to a manager name jay he told me he will see about geting me a diffrent phone he said i will call you back in a week and this is when i got the phone back with no display i wate no call so i call back another manager told me he shouldnt told me that he cant do that and she was sorry and she sad the only way to get a refund or a diffrent phone is the phone will have to be in the repair center for 30 days its been 2 months all ready so she said i will send you out a lable to send the new phone to the repair center that was august the 28 2008 and i still dont have a lable and its september 8 2008 i spent $565 usa doller for this i am very mad my name is westly if any body have a go manager i can speak to please email me at hardwelw AT bellsouth.net

I have purchased a Nokia 6300 from Soul company last July 2006
Since March this year the phone started palying up. I went to soul and I dpropped my phone for service and they have informed me that the phone still under Nokia's warranty.
The phone had returned back to me within 2 to 3 weeks (had no phone) and it was unrepaired, as a result of that I sent my phone twice to them and with no good outcome. waiting another 6 weeks

Soul company suggested to go to the company directly to drop off the phone... I did as they suggested on 20/06/08 Friday and here again where the bad service started
1. Poorly customer service of showing any sympathy for the time I wasted since March
2. Customer service representative has informed me that the phone will be ready next Tuesday
3. I have showed him a receipt of my purchase including warranty

Today 07/07/08 Phone has not been returned to me yet.. I called them more than 8 times, Once they said the phone is expensive to repair so it better ifyou buy a new one.
Then when I showed them again and again the warranty, they said ok we will replace it and it will be deliver to you, I have received nothing so far

I called today again 07/07/08 to find out what happened with the delivery, the person I spoke to, he said there is no new phone will be delivered, we actually fixed your phone up... I gave up with them and still I havent received my phone.

I tried to speak to a manager or any one in charge, their excuse is that they are busy on other calls and they refused to returned my phone calls... BAD SERVICE

Please help me here... They are the worse I ever dealt with in my life.

I bought my Nokia E75 28/11/2009. There was a problem about charge. I gave my cell phone to Nokia Service. After 1 month they decided to change it but they called me and said that they didn't have any E75 and offered me another model. I rejected and after 2 month, still there is no phone. I wanted them to pay invoice amount. They rejected and said I should wait for E75. But they didn't say me exact date. I was used to Nokia and didn't want to change it. Now I don't want to use Nokia any more. All I want my invoice amount.

I write some complaints 2 times to web sites in Turkey but nobody (from Nokia) answer it. Nobody cares.

Only they said they're waiting answer from Nokia international.

I've still waiting for an answer for 60 DAYS.

i ordered my phone (N97 in May already and i had to return it because it did not perform. it took a long time to get a RA# (return authorization) because their phone did not work. finally i got my money back but not my sales tax. nokias customer service in the USA is the worst i experienced ! i was hung up few times. also they never called me back as promised. Home Depot has a much better customer relation dept.! they sell only not electronic merchandise. now August 18 i would like to call Nokias customer service but i can't get through. maybe they changed their phone # again.

Found out the phone faulty upon activation and when back to the dealer .
Dealer unable to do anything but advise to sent to workshop for repair cos they unable to replace another phone.

Up to now phone still with me ..

Nokia lcd not working

I had bought a Nokia N95 8gb from carrefour Deira city centre dubai on Dec, 2007 it got the problem in July 2008 as it was under the Gurantee period, I had submit for the repair, which they took 21 days and still the problem was not solved, again I submit the mobile on 23 august 2008 at cellucom care, they told that it will take 10-15 working day and till today (14/09/08) they had not repaired and telling that it has not came till today and not sure how many more days it will take. I am very upset with the service and I spent dhm 2750/- and I am suffering because of bad set of phone. I need the explanation or exchange the pcs for me immediately

Problem 1. The combination of shades/colors of the base screen, the letters and digits on the screen and the transparent cover/window over the screen get so merged that it is not (NOT) possible to read anything in the open daylight.

One possible working solution is to change the shade of the transparent cover/window over the screen to near colorless.

Problem 2. The glowing of the screen is rather too short (time-wise). The software be suitably amended.

Nokia bull# service at abu dhabi

I bought a nokia 6500-s mobile by aed1150. imei no: [protected]. after one month it will start problem. problem is that "sometimes it will not works, i. e. no incoming and out going call. phone is hanged. I give it to nokia servicing center (nokia care) at abu dhabi on 12th august, 08. at that time they told me it will take at least 2 weeks, because we send it to dubai. I asked him if I come after two weeks the mobile will be ready and asked him for tel no to inquiry. he told no need tel enquaryit will ready after 2 weeks. when I gone after 2 weeks that man told me it is not come, may be it takes more one week. I asked him why? he told I write minimum two weeks. I asked him could u plz told me what is the maximum time reqd. he told me there is no limit. my question is to ###king nokia servicing man when I get my mobile? 2nd time he give me a tel phone no. to know the ramadan timing, but nobody receive when ringing ([protected]). it very difficult to me to know the ramadan timing of nokia care, abu dhabi. I would like to know the business our of that ###king and stupid service center timing. nokia is very very bad mobile.

Nokia phones keeps restarting

my phone was a present from my dad and about a week later my phone randomly kept restarted itself, i solved the problem by plugging the usb in and taking out the memory card it worked twice, and about 1 mounth later it had happened again it just kept turning o and of and on again. i tried charging it but it didnt work.My phone was very expensive and im dissapointed about how new it is with all th eproblems it had . Its been about 4 mounths now. Nokia stil hasnt had a sullution and my phone is no use to me.

Does anyone have any sullutions to what i should do ?

nokia has a lot of problem with its firmware/software. the older nokia phone models are better. for they hadn't much problem. except the fact that it can't play music/videos and the black and white lcd display. other phone manufacturer has not much problem with their software compared to nokia.

try checking youre firmware.. if its lower than v5.? something like that.. try upgrading its firmware.. mine had the same problem as yours.. but when i upgraded my firmware from v3.36 to v9.42 all my problems were gone.. voila! instantly! just like that. now its much better and cooler phone.. the restarting problem is gone.. the speakers became more louder than it is before. the equlizer is more accurate..

how to check youre firmware:

dial *#0000# (then firmware details will appear with the date when youre phone was made..)

Nokia phone damaged in care center and nokia not taking responsibility

I purchased a nokia 6220 2 months ago, i sent it for repairs to a fault 2 weeks after I purchased it. There was a scratch and 2 scuff marks on the screen of the phone when I sent it for repairs. The phone has come back now with 10 scratches across the face of the screen. I have spoken to Nokia care center and was told in no uncertain terms that the phone came in scratched so tough they were not taking responsibility for it.' It seems that if there is any marks on your phone when you send it for repair to nokia they take this as permission to handle the phone with lack of care. I now have a phone that I can not see the screen properly because of their carelessness.

I buy Nokia 6110 Navigator Handset in May 2008. There are fault on screen & in sound. My handset under warantee but that authorised centre says about physical damage. I told him to service handset. Servising amount 2430/- pay by my brotherinlaw Kiran Marne. But another fault occurs in camera. The amount i paid at the time of purchase 13, 500/- & after servising 2430/-. Then what means of warranty period. I claim to Nokia servising centre. Back me my money or new handset.

Nokia sms / iternet scam

I received an sms out of the blue saying that I had won 110, 000 pounds and that I had to email and then call +[protected]. What made me suspicious was that there were a lot of grammatical errors on the verification form and in order to get the price I had to pay for postage. When I tried to call the numbers given, the voice on the other side sounded surprised and hung up on me.

Nokia scam - winner of £347,000

Today 25/08/08 I received a mobile phone text supposedly from nokia informaing me that I had won & pound;347, 000.00 in this years draw. the text told me to telephone a uk number or send email to [protected]@live.com to make my claim.

Not believing this could be real - I went online and searched for related pages / sites. I found your complaints site and it has confimed my original suspisions - a scam. who really thinks nokia would run a promotion like this and if they were so generoous I do think they would want to publicise it widely to increase their sales!

Whoever is running this scam needs to be reported to the authorities and surely phone networks can stop this kind of activity - why aren't nokia doing something about it?
