unethical behavior - they got my money but refuse to send me the watch or a refund.
I have placed a order for a watch with "Swiss Watch Expo" on 5/15 and transferred $5516.30 to their account on the same day.
The Merchant recognizes money was received in their account but says they were expecting a "Federal Wire Transfer" and not an "ACH transfer". Because of that, they refused to send the watch and are also refusing to send my money back.
Swiss Watch Expo claims the only way for me to have my money back is to recall the transfer with my bank.
I have spent several hours discussing the issue with my bank (over the phone and at agency). My bank informed me they are unable to process such recall and redirected me to fraud/dispute departments.
I have tried all I could with my bank to recall the transfer and had not had success in triggering a transfer reversal.
Swiss Watch Expo is refusing any other resolution other than the transfer reversal.
As of today, 5/23/2019, SWE is in possession of my funds ($5516.30) without being entitled to.
Update: 8/10/2019: Issue is resolved - SWE has paid me back.
omega seamaster watch
Several years ago I purchased an Omega Seamaster watch from this company thru Ebay and everything looked fine.
Recently, when I went to an Omega dealer for service, I learned that the serial number was erased! Which means, it was an stolen watch!
Of course, Ebay is not able to do anything because they no longer have a record of this transaction since it was over 3 years ago.
If you buy a watch from this Company (Which I do not recommend) have it checked immediately. Perhaps, you will be able to get your money back.
Misleading terms
Absolutely terrible experience with this company. I purchased a $6000 cartier watch over the phone. The man that I spoke to over the phone seemed pretty smug from the beginning, which should of been my first indication that this is not a good company to do business with. I asked what the return policy was, since I had never seen the watch before. The man that I spoke to said that returns were easy and that I would be responsible for the return shipping fee. Upon receiving the watch, I decided that the look was not for me. Within 2 day of receiving it, my husband called to get a return authorization, at which point, we were notified that there would be a 3% restocking fee. Why was this never mentioned over the phone when I specifically asked about the return policy? When my husband called and inquired about the 3% over the phone, the same man who sold me the watch blatantly lied and told my husband that he did tell me about the restocking fee, but that maybe I didn't hear him because I "talked over him a lot." I am shocked that a company like this is still in business. They have zero customer service and are flat out rude. I would never do business with this company again for any reason and I highly recommend that others due the same. There are too many other companies out there that will give outstanding customer service, which is how it should be when spending thousands of dollars!

Deceptive Business Practice
I bought a Cartier watch thru EBAY with the description "Original Cartier Box and booklets". When the item arrive, the accompanying booklet is not for the model that I bought but for a different model. I called them to report that they send a different manual and Jake, the owner, said that they do not pay much attention about the booklet when they list the item on EBAY which I think is BS. So I left a negative feedbak on EBay and they retaliated by leaving a feedback that I am an extortionist and a liar.
I am attaching the correspondence between us for your conclusion.

Dear snkycat,
I've checked the paperwork -- (and we have every box numbered in the office) -- you received the correct package.
I've spoke to Jake and he explained that as each Rolex comes with the paper certificate for this particular model/serial number (of course many of them lost and lot of pre-owned watches are sold without them), Cartier in many occasions are sold without the certificates, just general booklets which are "ORIGINAL CARTIER BOOKLETS" as described in the listing, but not necessary is about this model.
I actually opened several packages for other Cartier we have on sale, and the booklets have the description of 3-4 other models, not the one they came with. I've checked 5 different packages which we've bought from the different sources -- and mistake is not possible, each watch/package is labeled as soon as they arrive.
I hope that explains the booklet contents.
Best,
Victoria

swisswatchexpo have done the same to me, stated original but in fact most parts were not original to the watch just Rolex service replacement. Sent me a far cheaper bracelet than the one they advertised then refused to put the matter right when told. Told me I had the right to return the watch for a refund (at my own expense) and also having paid over £1000 import duty. Stated that the watch had recently been serviced, if that were true why did it require a new main spring to keep it running? I tried my best to resolve the matter amicably but they were not interested.
Was the watch authentic beyond doubt?
