Lowratevoip is also one of their softwares and is also fraud. It has blocked my money 3 times.

It works for me, I just found just one other site that looks exactly like Voipcheap. But I've had it for a month, spent 14 dollars USD and its working for me.

Just can't contact the people there, your 100 % there, but no need really, I just want a voip-in number.

This is really problematic. They Betamax offers cheaper rates but on the next day they block accounts. My account have been blocked too and they never respond to the contact form! Can we do some thing to get our money back from the company?

Even for me with a balance of 6 euro, neither can make a call nor SMS. Always says 'call ended due to unknown error'.

I didn't need complete the transaction on 31.10.2007, but they charged me about 10.50€. I don't know what happened. Please give me my credits back.

I've tried to contact the customer service once after having the same same problem, they then reply the email asking for the error message. But after I notified them about it, they never contact me again.

Yes, its true. I have two accounts, lowratevoip and voipwise. One has 9 Eur and the other 2 Eur, and they are both blocked. Can't call or send SMS. No reply from their customer support either (if they do have one).
This company needs to be exposed.

Yes I agree the betamax products are fraudulant and I hope soon they will close their business and run away.

I was using lowratevoip and voipwise both accounts had more than 6 euros and they are blocked together. Error code 33 appears. we need to run some campaign to inform people not becoming betamax victims.

we can start this by informing our friends and families to not use these products.

If some Guy have a website he can place information about this fraud and run some regular blog.

Hello, I have voipcheap and even though mine is working properly you can tell their lack of dedication to their product because they barely update their website. Their last news report is almost a year old and the website looks the same since I first started.

Like all these companies, free calls to a variety of destinations is what youare supposed to get and FREE desinations are clearly shown.

Therefore if these destinations are FREE, why do I have to pay around £8 quid or so a time?

I am almost happy to pay for non free destinations but, I can phone many of these destinations on my home landline at a cheaper rate using a given code; so who is voipcheap and it's spin offs kidding?

It's a con job - theres no shortage of cyber space and bandwith.

the re-seller is 100% not honest..they ask for transfer 13 euros to have 10 euro credit..i effect 13..they credit me only 7 EUROS.! and the voice quality is really v poor...the re-seller is talking by a very strong self confidence he is saying "DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO!

Yesterday,me and my friend 10 pound top-uped to voipwise.com and we send few sms. But they charged us. I do not know, in the voipwise sms rate is totally. And bangladesh is also free country of this chart. But our money is gone.

we are students & living in different cities in germany we've problem with betamax for the last 2 years our account were blocked without any reason our account have enough money to call. we have contacted via email, messages, telephones personally visit but no one gives us a positive answer even the office address which is showing on different Voip serivices like (lowratevoip, voipwise, Nonoh, internetcalls, voipstunt, voipbuster etc..) is wrong. so you all becarefull to buy a credit from this Fraud company Betamax. We are putting a case against BEtamax so if someone of you have already infected by this company then please contact to the lawyer, or whatever you can do. We have here a office name Verbraucher Zentrale we went there with our all bills and calls list balnces they gave us a positive responce but they are also waiting for more complaints so please do whatever you can. thanks

I've been using the Betamax services for more than a year (mostly Voipcheap) and apart from some isolated incidences with bad connections or outages I've never had any serious problems with them. I hope it will stay that way.

dear voipwise, i have sent you many complaint,but still there is no action at all. I have bought the credit at the amount of 30,35 euros on 19th of february, but till now,the credit has not arrived yet. what happened? i have the print out of my transaction, where should i send them to you?via email or via post?
i wonder why there is no action at all, your service is not satisfactorily at all. Where is your responsible? I want my money back!. To whom should i complain about my money.

For over 3weeks now, my 2euros has been blocked and cant place calls or send sms. I have no idea what this company is up to. You cant contact them and even if you send email, no body responds to you. If I have and appropriate place to logde complaints against this company, I will gladly do it to sue the hell out of them. I live in US and not in Europe, and this kind of thing I am sure will not be tolerated by Americans if this company was to be based here. Please tell me, what is error code 33?

Nonoh seems a fake site. Me and 4 other friends took the connection.It worked for a week, then the call never goes. It give "The call ended due to an unknown error".We some could login the account, some could not. But we still have enough balance left.

They doesn't have costumer care, never get a reply to mail.

So guys...Plz dont buy it..Dont become "FOOLS".

I am the regular user of low rate voip software. I used to recharge my account by www.moneybookers.com by my credit card. money bookers icon was shown on voip rate software where we can make calls. There is a line click here to go to your account. when we click this a new window is openedand then we click buy credit. then money bookers icon was shown but now the icon has been removed. Tell us the good method to activate our account buy credit card without any other help.

My wife uses voipcheap.com sirvices.
From the begining everything looked OK, but then
nobody knows how they calculate those "FREE" minutes.
My wife never used anounsted 300 minutes. And all the time ufter couple days they start charging and never reply on e-mails.
Does this frase from their web-site (* Max 300 minutes per week of free calls, measured over the last 7 days and per unique IP address.) sounds tricky? Seems like they count always for last 7 days, which is not really per week.
Plus we found out that even when it says FREE call, your money on account went down.
We are moving from them.

i have account in Justvoip, Low rate voip, Voipbuster, Voipbuster pro and Smslisto . all of them blocked and they send message the call ended due to unknown error. I have the message from all the same time. I don't know what happened.
if you send more than one time feedback they will put in spam!

I was using nonoh.net and viopcheap.com for more than one year but recently I am getting only error 33 and my 13USD on their accounts are gone! Better to stay away from these companies.

I have 10 Euro in CALLEASY also and they have closed that also and i am not able to make call from that also, its too much for me,

Betamax is really suck the people

All the betamax companies are the same: good product at insanely cheap prices, but essentially no customer services. If something goes wrong, you're screwed.

For me, I've been using them for years with a ATA adaptor for all outgoing phone calls. Total phone bill about 20 euros a year, for phonecalls all over the world. Can't argue with the prices.

I am trying to top up my voipcheap & your site will not accept my credit card also in the box that says country it is showing the
wrong country it should be be UK not France so the cc address will be wrong can I change this ?

I thought I was a lone. I have been fooled by nonoh for sometime. They are really fake. No customer care and indeed no email response. They even hide there contacts. I have never seen a serious company with uncultured attitude like this. Anyway I had just given up with them

i live in the philippines, tanx to voice cheap i can call my mother in germany for 90 days free, ok some hours special afternoon until midnight it do not works good, but 4 10 euro is ok, and beside the first 90days are free after this period i pay only for 1 min 1cent euro thats fantastik!

Well i have two accounts with voipcheap, my friend in norway has one, my sister in pakistan has one, deducted 10 Euro..
All are running fine...voice quality is mostly very good...! no complaints. I hope it remains like this.

Guys, listen, never, ever, use anything but Paypal for any of these voip providers, and i mean any of them, not even if they seem like they are a big company, remember this is still an unregulated industry in most countries. If you use Paypal, just make a complaint, eg. "I have tried contacting this company but they will not reply, this is therefore a fraudulent transaction since i have not recieved what i paid for, i would like Paypal to reverse this charge" Paypal will almost immediately refund your money and if they get too many complaints about one company they will suspend their account pending an investigation and then possibly close it all together. Think its about time those guys at Betamax (voipcheap, voipstunt and all their other names etc.) got a kick up the ###!

im using voipcheap for about 3 years and had never problems with it i dont know why but it scares me when i read it all here that they are playing with people whatever i never had problems with voipcheap and never had that unknown error.
