They waste time posting dumb contests on their facebook page all day and spend less time helping their customers
They waste time posting dumb contests on their facebook page all day and spend less time helping their customers. They have no phone support so you have to wait & hope they will get back to you in a couple days. Oh please, a couple days is too long in this day & age. And their live support, don't rely on the live support section claiming it is open for live chat, I tried it but was told it ended 11 minutes prior to my post instead of taking the time to actually answer my question. Then when I said I wanted to cancel my serivce, I never went live with their site since it sucks! They said no refund. Give me a break. I will spread my experience to all! Horrible service, they are just greedy and looking for the $ that is all they care about! No problem... They will see where that gets them!
Unethical company
This company has no trial period for its program. When you purchase it, you have no idea what lies on the backend or what the customer service is going to be like. They charge you for a whole year's worth of hosting right from the outset and $100 for a site that you don't even own. If you are not happy, which I guarantee you won't be as the customer service sucks and they don't launch the site when they say they will, plus the admin area is completely un-intuitive, they basically tell you to screw off and if you want your domain name back they want to sell it to you for $60. There are many good things about the internet, but bludomain is not one of them. They are horrible. Be warned.

Their support and products are cheap
I have had so many problems with bludomain in the last month. I can't even count the number of times i've had to request customer service... Only to receive a reply days later.
They are not optimized for seo, as much as the say they are. They offer very little assistance for bugs that are present in their templates, and they offer absolutely no refunds.
I've learned the hard way — you get what you pay for. Their support and products are cheap. I've paid ten times over in the time i've had to invest and the disappointment i've faced.
Their customer service just crosses over what their developers have to offer
Bludomain offers stylish and reasonably priced websites, however, their customer service just crosses over what their developers have to offer. The templates are often delivered late, the bugs are fixed long, emails rarely returned and the phone doesn't answer. With such service it's impossible to run your website properly. I'm rather usuing readyphotosite now. Their templates are nice and functional and the service is great!
Fraud
My complaint is the same as all the rest. I only wish i'd done my research before following the lemmings into this disgusting pool of internet scam carcasses. I waited over a month for my template or any correspondence regarding the $200 I paid (100 template, 100 hosting) and 10 for a new domain. Nothing ever came. (note: they have no contact number or contact email. Big clue.) before you drive yourself crazy, listen to these 3 proactive things you can do to get your money back and to get bludomain shut down so that no one else has to suffer (don't you wish someone had done this for you? Well, I did):
1. First of all: the most effective thing you can do is call your business banking (assuming you're a photography business) and report fraud, item never received. My bank is refunding me 100% and will be investigating this company.
2. File a dispute thru paypal: (this was my first failed line of action, although it has worked for at least one person I read about online)
(why should I bother making a dispute or even raising it to a claim if paypal is not responsible for 'virtual' services? Because each dispute (paypal customer service rep told me this) is a mark against the bludomain company and enough people who follow through registering complaints via paypal can get them shut down.
File a dispute and immediately escalate it to a claim before you run out of time:
Click>my account and view the past 3 months of your account all in one
Click>details next to the transaction you are going to dispute
Click>resolution center at the bottom of the page
Click> item dispute at the bottom of the page and
Click> continue
Rreason for dispute (2 options are given) click> I haven't received my item
>describe your reason for dispute
Click> continue
(it"s very easy steps and very obvious 1, 2, 3)
3. File an fbi report through http://www.ic3.gov
This is the info paypal has for bludomain.com

*>the phone number is a generic recording saying"your skype number is blocked" and it will tell you to go thru some hoops by contacting skype. This is bogus.

I have had super personal attention with this company. I find that they are quick to help and get your site up and running. I have been with them for 6 years.
I decided I did not want to do business with them because of the lack of progress and help to get my site template. And it seems to be a problem giving refunds. I paid 200.00 which they took as soon as they could (minutes) and 2 weeks later no template no money.
Buggy website, Bad Customer Service, No response to change my site to a new host... THEY ARE HORRIBLE!
Scam
Horrible, horrible company. No business ethics whatsoever, or any ethics for that matter. After purchasing a website template from them and hosting services, I was told I was going to get my website by a specific time that day. I never got any e-mails containing the links to my template, so I e-mailed their customer service center. I was told they e-mailed it again, but, of course, I never got any other e-mails. I checked every e-mail account I own and all the spam folders with it. The only e-mails I got were from their employee, aundrea, who I bet has hard time sleeping at night, because based on the amount she lied to me, she must lie a whole lot to a whole lot of other people. After about a week of trying to contact them, they never got back to me and I felt like I got ripped off. I was sure that I got ripped off when I filed a dispute and claim with paypal, and bludomain told paypal they sent it. It really pisses me off when a company, or anyone really, belligerently lies to get money out of regular people. I urge anyone considering bludomain not to buy anything from their company. They're dishonest and I look at them the same way I look at any other scam artist, because that's what they are, nothing more than a scam.

Hi, I'm from Canada and I gave Bludomain access to purchasing my domain and hosting. I too had issues when I went to login to my website and found an asian hotel at my domain. I have been messaging them for 2 years about where my information is and never once received an apology. Aundrea claims to be the owner and wants me to pay again now that the domain no longer has asian company on it anymore...$100 or I dont get my information...wow...Classy.
Actual email sent to Andrea,
"I actually spoke with the registrar at GoDaddy. I do not want to redeem the name. I just want what I paid for to be in my GoDaddy account so I can have control over it when it is due in the future. This will not happen again. I paid for a domain name. They said they can do a transfer free of charge. My mistake was letting you guys get the domain and put it in your account. Legally you do not own my name. As for the site I will continue to use it until my term is over this year and will seek business elsewhere. GoDaddy said they send out courtesy notices to customers and since my name was not on the account I did not get a notice. You failed to forward that information to me. No one on your staff could give me dates that you sent emails or a supposed Paypal invoice. That is because they didn't send it.
I actually contacted BluDomain on August 3rd, ticket MaEv-[protected]
stating that I was getting an error code. They claimed everything was fixed and it looks as if I had a bill due as a courtesy they would have told me. I would have been glad to pay and not have to go through this whole ordeal. Until now your service has been satisfactory. It seems as though you don't have your systems in place. In fact when I contacted you about this issue on 9/11 I was told that I needed to pay my yearly hosting fee of $100.00. I am sure glad that I did my research and didn't pay it because it wasn't due until December. I will not be hosting with you for another year. No wonder you are not BBB accredited and and have an F. I have filed a domain renewal complaint from against your company and reported you to the BBB."

Constantly buggy website
They gave me a website that is constantly buggy. I keep asking to fix one thing after another after another after another. For example, sometimes my uploaded images won't show up. Sometimes my thumbnails disappear. Sometimes when I scroll through the images, it doesn't scroll properly (it jumps back to the first image for no reason, or jumps out of place). My images sometimes aren't properly re-sized into their prospective boxes when they load, so sometimes it loads in its original size and takes up the whole browser, overlapping everything. The music player doesn't play your specific song in a gallery when you tell it to. The text box is constantly buggy as well. When I try to add something to the end of a line, the font changes back to default. When I try to highlight a line, the cursor skips everywhere and ends up highlighting an entire paragraph or two. Sometimes it would scroll by itself so you're not even sure what's highlighted. Sometimes it takes days or even weeks for customer service to respond. I've probably opened a hundred new tickets in a span of 4 months. The photo i've attached is an example of a bug I mentioned earlier. The photo is supposed to be confined within the white box, but no, it just jumps out. How unprofessional is that? What will my clients think if I can't get my website right? Stay away from bludomain, everyone. I beg you.

Awful experience
On 12/10/08 I ordered a “betsy html-only website” for $200 because it was advertised as being ready within 24 hours. I sent several emails over the next few days that went unanswered.
Friday 12/12 @ 4pm - they send a list of questions for my website host provider.
Monday 12/15 at 9:30am the questionnaire was sent back with the info they needed (delayed due to the weekend because they sent it at 4pm on friday).
Tuesday 12/17 - still no website and no contact from bludomain. I email them at 9:37am and told them I was worried and that the site needed to be up asap because this was a new company being launched before christmas and we needed a few days to make tweaks and upload content.
No response until 12/18 at 9:48am when they said they couldn't log in to my godaddy account. “daniel muniz” claimed the password was wrong. Literally 5 minutes after his email I said to try again because the password was correct. At this time I also realized the password for my ftp had a typo and I told him this.
No response so at 2:53pm I asked them to follow up and please call if there were any technical problems.
No response and by this time i'm panicking. I email again at 4:58pm asking if I should just get a refund.
12/18 @ 11pm - I get a short email from daniel saying he could get into the godaddy account but now he can't get into the ftp. At this point I realized I was getting the run around and I would most likely not see a website any time soon because all I was getting was poor communication and excuses.
Friday 12/19 I send four emails (yes, I was panicked!) asking for a response, phone call, anything! I kept getting autoresponse emails. I checked my junk email folder and spam folder in comcast. I was definitely getting their emails. Still no response.
Over the weekend I decided that I was fed up and that I would ask for a refund and hire someone else on monday morning since they don’t work on the weekends.
Monday 12/22 @ 11:41am - I emailed and essentially fired them and I asked for a refund. No response.
Monday 12/22 @ 3:36pm - suddenly get an email from daniel saying here's your link and that it was uploaded to my server. I email back immediately at 3:42 and say "too bad... You're too late. I hired someone else I want a refund". He writes me back right away (the only time that ever happened) and says "too bad, company policy if we already sent a link". I write back and say I asked for my refund over four hours before you sent the link. He writes back again and say "ok, then you should be ok. The owner will just have to approve the refund." I ask daniel to forward my message to the owner. No response. My hosting provider looked on my ftp site and said there was nothing uploaded to my server like they said there was. I never clicked on the link.
Friday 12/26 - I email again asking where is my refund. I get an autoresponder and no other response. So I email daniel and ask him again to forward my email to wayne who I found out is the owner. No response.
Tuesday 12/30 - I found out that bludomain has an "f" rating on the denver bbb website. I email bludomain again asking for a refund at 3:50pm. I also file a complaint with paypal.
Tuesday 12/30 @ 11:33pm - “aundrea” responded and saying "sorry, no refunds. You agreed to that when you purchased the site". I printed out the agreement and no where in there does it say no refunds. When I pointed that out to her she didn't respond.
Thursday 1/1/09 - I email, pointing out (once again) that I had asked for the refund over 4 hours before the link was sent. No response. I escalate my complaint with paypal.
Friday 1/9/09 - paypal says they do not protect buyers from 'intangible items' like a website. I email bludomain and let them know this. Aundrea emails me back within 20 minutes with lies and inaccurate timelines tries to blame my host providers fault and calls me childish. She still refuses to refund my money or apologize for poor customer service.

Customer service sucks!!!
My friend purchased a template from them almost 2 months ago and requested to go live about a month ago and I check where the site is supposed to be and it makes me very very angry for my friend, but very thankful that I went with photobiz. Their customer service rocks! As do their templates. And they have one price not a bunch of different ones depending on which template you go with. Bludomain f —
Photobiz a+

Worst customer service and a rip off
This is the worst company to deal with. They have the worst customer service and the owner is mean. She has on occasions writtain to others including myself and threatened not to work with people who have an attititude with them. I paid good money for a web site and she refuses to give it to me because I still owe on two other websites that I put down payments on. As far as I know they can't steal something back from me that I paid for and it will be a long up road battle but I will win.
Please for your sake, don't pay up front for any website from them. They do not do what most companies do not do and that is take your money and run. They take your money and run with it.
Customer service
I repeatedly write email trying to get my website launched. I receive no response. I fill out their online forms, requests for phone calls, and send emails. Nothing. They make you pay up front for their website templates then hold you hostage by never following through when you want to go live. They basically steal money and never deliver on their services.
I have nothing but continued guffaws with each email I finally receive from them. My tale of woe has led me to the "I can't believe they are writing what they are writing to me" point along with incredulousness that they will not take the simple steps to fix this problem. In short, their site description for the template I wanted was vague...they didn't answer my repeated attempts to get them to call me for clarification...their customer service confused me (I realized later) and went ahead with my purchase after making an assumption...they changed their website details halfway through my building of my site to clarify...and then refused to let me change to a new template upon realizing that I was not getting what I thought (after many, many attempts to get them to respond to emails and call requests).
Their "customer service" (Aundrea) wrote me emails with bad grammar, bad taste, and bad form as I attempted to get the issue resolved. Her last email to me included the ever-so-friendly words that most customer service people find appropriate: "It's a shame- you do not hold yourself accountable for the choices you make. It's a shame you expect us to break policy or you become in mature when you do not get your way. Please do not email us anymore unless you are going to be kind and respectful."
Give me a break.
Now I'm stuck with these imbeciles for a year.
I am having the same problems and more with them. Read my complaint against them.
