Dalmen Pro

We hired Dalmen Pro in the Spring of 2019 to replace our back patio door that was leaking. We wanted a new door that would swing outwards and not leak. The salesperson was confident and we signed the contract. We waited many weeks for the work to start as the door was being made. Finally, on July 19, the door was installed. The Technician who did the work was uncomfortable with the work order as the door jam was facing the wrong way and the hinges were on the outside of the door. The Technician contacted Dalmen Pro before the install with his concerns but was told to complete the work anyway. A few days after the install, the door started leaking worse than before. We held the final payment to Dalmen Pro and insisted on a new door. We followed up with them many times, but they sent salespeople and Technicians who couldn't fix the problem. Dalmen Pro claimed they had fulfilled the contract by providing an outswing door as requested, and it was our fault as all outswing doors would leak. We were upset as we relied on their expert advice. In November , Dalmen agreed to visit again, but the quick fix didn't work. They installed a rubber lining, but water was still coming in. The Technician left without answering questions or providing solutions. Over the winter, we heard very little communication and no commitment to correcting the door. We followed up again a few weeks ago, but we haven't received a clear answer. We want them to fix the door or give us a paid in full receipt so we can hire another company to correct their work.
