5 Stars in every area. Steve replaced soffits, fascia and eavestroughs on our home. Anyone with an older home knows that any renovation will have "surprises" and ours produced some problems outside anything related to the installation. It was no problem for Steve - He made the necessary repairs without a single complaint, even though it added an extra day to the project. Steve and his team are pleasant, courteous, and professional in all aspects of the job. And to top it off, his price was competitive, if not better, than all the other businesses quoting on the job. Steve and his team did a full replacement of the eavestroughs on my home in July and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was dealing with major drainage issues so he offered to fit the job in earlier which I really appreciated. When he provided the estimate, he was very thorough in his explanations with what needed to be done and why. The installation was complete in one day, and I was so pleased with the work they did. I am in an established neighbourhood with plenty of trees so the addition of gutter guards has been invaluable. Highly professional and personable, outstanding attention to detail, and quality workmanship. I absolutely recommend Irish Steve's Eavestroughing and would contact again for any future needs.

My husband and I would recommend Irish Steve's Eavestroughing. We had to have an eavestrough put on our roof over our deck which had a lot of corners. Plus we needed the eavestrough on the other side of our home. He had no hesitations that he would be able to eavestrough the whole roof even though it had adjustments he would have to make. They showed up with smiles on their face and were professional and friendly through the whole job. We are so pleased with the work that was done. Where another company was not willing to put the eavestrough on 2 sections of our deck roof, Irish Steve's did all sections of that roof even though he had to do adjusting to accommodate for the eavestrough installation. So please with the work that was done.

I highly recommend Irish Steve. He and his team arrived when they said they would, did a great job and were pleasant and professional throughout. However, the reason I would give them unlimited praise is what happened after they finished the job. There was a torrential downpour and water was over-flowing the eaves the way it did before they installed my new eavestroughs. I phoned Steve in a panic "It's not working!" and he came back as soon as possible. Steve checked his work, found that the problem was not with the eavestroughs, but the downspout was blocked. He cleaned out the downspout, checked to make sure it was running freely, did not charge me and did not make me feel any more foolish than I already did. It does not get any better than that. Lori G

We were experiencing issues with our eaves and needed the support of a professional. We saw an ad for Irish Steve's Eavestroughing and from first contact to their finished work, we experienced the highest quality service we've had in many years. Irish Steve and his team conducted a thorough assessment of your needs and educated us on what they believed our issues were. Not once did we feel pressured or like I was being "sold to". It was clearly evident that Irish Steve was focused on getting the job done in a way that would resolve our drainage issues for the long term. The finished product was nothing short of amazing. Irish Steve's Eavestroughing and his team are experts in eavestrough installation and really know their job very well. There were quite a few problems with our eavestrough around the garage and entrance area. Whenever it rained water would overflow from the eaves trough at the entrance, and left side of the house. Also, the down spouts would get blocked with leaves and other debris. Fascia and soffit were leaking and we did not even know these needed proper repair and maintenance. Irish Steve's Eavestroughing and his team demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, honesty, dedication, and more importantly, believe in giving the best service to the customer. They were prompt and courteous in their response from the beginning to the end. I will not hesitate to recommend Irish Steve's Eavestroughing to any other person. Above all, Irish Steve is a nice, good, and trustworthy person.

Steve and his helper placed new eavestroughing on our house to get rid of the annoying needles that build up every year and it really works well. He also fixed some soffits which were loose and starting to unzip. Steve believes in doing the job right or not at all. Don't let his easy going manner fool you. He's a craftsman and a perfectionist. When he replaced two short 90 degree returns on the troughs, he noticed they weren't sitting square because wooden beams were slightly interfering. So instead of just replacing them with two more crooked pieces, he took out his sabre saw and cut off two thin pieces of the beams and spray painted the ends to match the original paint! Then he installed the new returns, which fit perfectly. Not many contractors would go to the trouble to fix a crooked installation like that. You can trust Steve to perform that same quality workmanship on your house.

I cannot say enough about the experience with Irish Steve's Eavestroughing. Steve is a true craftsman who is extremely proud of his work and it shows! From our first contact through to completion of the job, everything about our interactions and the work was extremely professional and friendly. Understand that it may take time to get your work done. That's not a bad thing, it means that Steve is busy. But rest assured, he will get to your job and it will be worth the wait. Pricing is competitive. Not the cheapest but very reasonable and you get what you pay for. Quality product, exceptional work and no surprises. Our work was done on a chilly day in early winter and both Steve and his team worked through the cold and into the darkness to finish the job in a single day. Both Steve and his team are exceptional old-world craftsmen who are very proud of their work and they do it right. These days it is nice to know that you're dealing with someone who will look you in the eye, shake your hand and you know that means something. Highly Recommend!

The old eaves had been in place for 32 years, were leaking at the corners and angles as well as in some places had a negative slope. Irish Steve's replaced all eaves and completed the job in 2 days. Steve and his able bodied assistant, John, were top notch. They pointed out areas where problems existed and how they would correct the issue. Steve was meticulous in his craftsmanship and ensured every cut, every corner, every slope and every downspout was correctly fashioned and installed. He even added (at no additional cost) reverse flashing in areas to prevent water leaking behind the eaves and creating stain marks on the fascia. It was easy to see Steve and John loved what they did and took a great deal of pride in their work. While there are many eavestroughing businesses one could contract, without any doubt, Irish Steve's would be my one and only choice of contractor to use. The costs associated with the work were fair and reasonable. No hidden costs or markups. We are delighted with how the new eaves look and work and all the little extras that were included.

For the year of 2021 with most construction projects going sideways, it has been a joy to work with Irish Steve's Eavestroughing. Right from the start with making a request for more information, the response has been awesome. Quick call back, quick booking to review and discuss estimate. Once on site, one could tell the experience Irish Steve had with his approach to measuring and drawing out what he wanted to accomplish. The quote came back within 24 hours. Prior to installation, I had to re-schedule and Irish Steve was very accommodating. Friday before they were coming, I received a phone call to confirm installation for Monday. Real professionalism. Despite a day delay because of a major rain, Irish Steve and Lee worked long hours to assure they completed our Eaves/Facia prior to our family week-end get together. They left my yard in the same manner as when they arrived. All cleaned up and even put my patio table, chairs and planters all back on the deck. Really appreciated the quality of workmanship and pleasant demeaner both Irish Steve and Lee have. It was like having a best friend working for you. Great stories and great laughs. As a normal practice when looking to get my eavestroughs replaced, I booked 3 estimates based on some research done and what set Irish Steve's Eavestroughing from the rest were 3 key differentiators:

1. Knowledge: When going over the project, Steve's vast knowledge was well on display, highlighting areas that were missed & could have been done better in the original install of my eavestroughs.

2. Professionalism: It's not often where you meet 2 individuals such as Steve and his sidekick, who take so much pride in the work they do. Trust me when I say, when they were finished, the project was done above and beyond expectation.

3. Customer Service: Above all, Steve and his team put customer service at the forefront. During the estimate as well as into the project, we discussed different aspects to ensure that downspouts would drain more efficiently. More importantly, they addressed the issue of downspouts connected to the lower level eavestroughs on the second story as a means to extend the life of the roof. Steve was the only one who identified this, whereas the others did not.

So, long story short, you cannot go wrong with Steve and his team. Great job Irish Steve's Eavestroughing, it was a pleasure meeting with you and as a result, having a couple of new friends along the way.

We are finally getting smart (in our senior years) and looked for a company and owners who take pride in their work. We found this with Irish Steve's Eavestroughing. Both of the folks who came out to work on our home showed such pride and integrity in everything they did, from first contact and estimate, to the work itself, to the follow-up conversations. I agree with other reviewers that this is what it should be like to deal with all companies, but unfortunately that is not the case. While the eaves may not seem to be the cheapest out there (we got the double pro), in the long run you will not be replacing them (or cursing leaks), so when you do a cost analysis this may actually be the cheaper alternative. We lived with poorly installed eaves for years and I am so very happy to have finally made a smart choice. We are actually showing off our new Eaves to our neighbors (a number of them have asked who we used). Steve and Lee were amazing to deal with and I have no reservation in recommending them. There were a couple of extra issues with our home and they took it all in stride and added a couple of extra needed items at no charge �" not something that one finds often nowadays. One additional note is that we had this work done in the winter �" I was unsure that this was a good idea, but they work all year long and the first snow melting is draining just fine.
