On Monday Sept.18th, 2023, I called in for a refill on one of my prescriptions. I told them that I had taken my last pill, she said it would be ready at 3:00pm the same day. I wait until the next day to go pick it up and was told they were working on it. I told her that I was told the day before that it would be ready at 3 pm and I waited a whole day to pick up. She said the Covid vaccine had come in and they were ministering those. What my meds are not important. She said they would have it ready in 30 minutes. I went back 3 hours later to find out they were still working on it. Needless to say I was pretty upset. I asked the what the problem was and they said they were short staffed. Only 2 people were working at that time. There was a line of people waiting to be helped.
PAY your employees they work hard! I have never had so much trouble from Walgreen as I have had in the past 3 months. They use to fill my prescriptions when they were due without me having to call them in.
That is no longer happening. While standing in line for my prescription there was several people talking about going to another place.
Desired outcome: Fix the problem. Hire workers and pay them well to do a good job. You are going to lose alot of customers.
Walgreens - Senior day
I shop Walgreens on senior day to get my senior discount. I went today and when I was checking out the cashier told me that they didn’t honor senior discount on a holiday. Since I was already checking out I went on on and paid. I didn’t see anything in the store that said senior discount was not honored on a holiday. I think this is a bad policy especially for seniors.
