On 4/12 I went to do some shopping at Winn Dixie in Zachery La. The store was pretty busy but had adequate cashiers working. I had found some really good buys and proceeded to cashier to check out. When I approached the register the cashier was busy taking selfies. She stopped and started to ring up my items. I had purchased some shrimp that were on sale for 8.99 when I asked the cashier how much did the shrimp ring up she just looked at me and then finally said 12.99. I then told her they were on sale and she just kept ringing up my items. I had some items that were buy one get one free that I inquired about with no reply. The cashier (Kimberly) just kept ringing up my items but by this time she had an attitude. I then remembered I had to give her my Winn Dixie card. I said I forgot and the items would reflect the sale price after my card was scanned. She just kept looking at me as if I was a bother to her. She never greeted me and was very rude. I live in Baker La which is about a 10 mile drive to your store. There is a Wal Mart 3 minutes from my home. I shop at Winn Dixie because I do not like going to Wal Mart. On rhis day I spent a total of 96 dollars in Winn Dixie. I buy groceries every week and sometimes visit the store 2 to 3 times a week. I have been working in a customer service business for over 18 years. I have actually been a district manager over 9 stores. This type of service is unacceptable. If your employee does not loke people I suggest she seek employment elsewhere. I am writing this letter because too often this happens and runs good customers away. It would be greatly appreciated if you look into this as I would hate for someone else to get the same rude and nasty service I received. Thank you kindly!
