Earlier this year I wanted to give this app a shot after seeing it for months pop up in my feed a on social media. So I downloaded the app and made and account set up with Apple. A few days later I got charged which I figured was just the end of the trial. But I remembered that I downloaded because there was a special going on (on instagram) one year for $29.99. I thought that was great considering it’s normally $53 every 3 months. Well, 3 months later I got charged the $53. I emailed them and they told me I had two accounts to uninstall and reinstall the app and it should be fixed. I didn’t worry about it until 3 months after that I got the same charge.. this has been going on for almost a year. I have cancelled it on my Apple end but even that states I don’t own anything until Jan 2024. I have emailed asking for refunds and for my account(s) to be cancelled with zero response at all. I have even called my bank to report the payments as fraud. My next course of action is going to be the BBB and then legal recourse. BetterMe has taken a little over $150 of my funds that was not agreed upon and refuses to even acknowledge any of my emails about my concerns. I never pay for stuff like this and this is why. It will NOT ever happen again!

Desired outcome: I would like ALL of my accounts deactivated, deleted from their database and all of my money the shouldn’t have been taken by them to be directed back to me. Also an apology would be nice as well.
