I bought a 1hp American Home window type air con in SM Sta. Rosa last April 2011. It is bundled together with a 32-inch flat screen TV. Unfortunately, after three months of using the aircon, it doesn't cool up the room. It is now just functioning like an electric fan. Since it is defective, I called the service center to request for a repair at more than a week ago. After spending around PhP500 for making the landline calls (no landline at home) and being passed around to countless number of people asking the same questions, I have been finally scheduled for a repair yesterday (Monday) or today. Nobody showed up on Monday and when I called to follow up, they said tomorrow is the schedule. However, I waited for the technician today. Nobody showed up. I made another call to ask what happened to the committed schedule. They said he is still doing repairs somewhere and I will just have to wait. Sunset came and right now, it's 11pm. No technician, of any form, came. When I read about numerous complaints about the American Home Service Center, I begin to suspect these schedules are just plain lies and I am just waiting for nothing. I will have to, again, do the follow up call tomorrow but I am contemplating about doing more stringent steps to get their full and prompt action. If you know of any way to hasten this up, I would be glad to listen. I am planning to send a complaint email to an American Home executive in the Philippines but don't know any email ad. If you've got any info, please let me know as well. Thanks.

sm malls just care about the money not the customers
